| [1]Thus all Israel were numbered by their genealogies: and behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and of Judah, and they were carried away to Babylon for their transgression. |
[1]καὶ πᾶς ισραηλ ὁ συλλοχισμὸς αὐτῶν καὶ οὗτοι καταγεγραμμένοι ἐν βιβλίῳ τῶν βασιλέων ισραηλ καὶ ιουδα μετὰ τῶν ἀποικισθέντων εἰς βαβυλῶνα ἐν ταῖς ἀνομίαις αὐτῶν |
| [2]And the chief inhabitants that dwelt in their own possessions, and in their own cities, even Israel the priests, the Levites, and the Nethinims. |
[2]καὶ οἱ κατοικοῦντες πρότερον ἐν ταῖς κατασχέσεσιν αὐτῶν ἐν ταῖς πόλεσιν ισραηλ οἱ ἱερεῖς οἱ λευῖται καὶ οἱ δεδομένοι |
| [3]And in Jerusalem dwelt of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasseh. |
[3]καὶ ἐν ιερουσαλημ κατῴκησαν ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν ιουδα καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν βενιαμιν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν εφραιμ καὶ μανασση |
| [4]Uthai the son of Ammihud the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani: of the children of Perez, the son of Judah. |
[4]γωθι υἱὸς αμμιουδ υἱοῦ αμρι υἱοῦ υἱῶν φαρες υἱοῦ ιουδα |
| [5]And of Shiloni, Asaiah the eldest, and his sons. |
[5]καὶ ἐκ τῶν σηλωνι ασαια πρωτότοκος αὐτοῦ καὶ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ |
| [6]And the sons of Zerah, Jeuel, and their brethren six hundred and ninety. |
[6]ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν ζαρα ιιηλ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν ἑξακόσιοι καὶ ἐνενήκοντα |
| [7]And of the sons of Benjamin, Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah, |
[7]καὶ ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν βενιαμιν σαλω υἱὸς μοσολλαμ υἱοῦ ωδουια υἱοῦ σαναα |
| [8]And Ibneiah the son of Jeroham, and Elah the son of Uzzi, the son of Michri, and Meshullam the son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah. |
[8]καὶ ιβαναα υἱὸς ιρααμ καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ οζι υἱοῦ μαχιρ καὶ μασσαλημ υἱὸς σαφατια υἱοῦ ραγουηλ υἱοῦ βαναια |
| [9]And their brethren according to their generations nine hundred, fifty and six: all these men were chief fathers in the households of their fathers. |
[9]καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν κατὰ γενέσεις αὐτῶν ἐννακόσιοι πεντήκοντα ἕξ πάντες οἱ ἄνδρες ἄρχοντες πατριῶν κατ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν |
| [10]And of the priests, Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, and Jachin, |
[10]καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν ἱερέων ιωδαε καὶ ιωαριμ καὶ ιαχιν |
| [11]And Azariah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub the chief of the house of God, |
[11]καὶ αζαρια υἱὸς χελκια υἱοῦ μοσολλαμ υἱοῦ σαδωκ υἱοῦ μαραιωθ υἱοῦ αχιτωβ ἡγούμενος οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ |
| [12]And Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashur, the son of Malchijah, and Maasai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer. |
[12]καὶ αδαια υἱὸς ιρααμ υἱοῦ πασχωρ υἱοῦ μαλχια καὶ μαασαια υἱὸς αδιηλ υἱοῦ ιεδιου υἱοῦ μοσολλαμ υἱοῦ μασελμωθ υἱοῦ εμμηρ |
| [13]And their brethren the chief of the households of their fathers a thousand, seven hundred and threescore valiant men, for the work of the service of the house of God. |
[13]καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν ἄρχοντες οἴκων πατριῶν χίλιοι ἑπτακόσιοι ἑξήκοντα ἰσχυροὶ δυνάμει εἰς ἐργασίαν λειτουργίας οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ |
| [14]And of the Levites, Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah of the sons of Merari, |
[14]καὶ ἐκ τῶν λευιτῶν σαμαια υἱὸς ασωβ υἱοῦ εσρικαμ υἱοῦ ασαβια ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν μεραρι |
| [15]And Bakbakkar, Heresh and Galal, and Mattaniah the son of Mica, the son of Zichri, the son of Asaph, |
[15]καὶ βακβακαρ καὶ αρης καὶ γαλαλ καὶ μανθανιας υἱὸς μιχα υἱοῦ ζεχρι υἱοῦ ασαφ |
| [16]And Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah, the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites. |
[16]καὶ αβδια υἱὸς σαμια υἱοῦ γαλαλ υἱοῦ ιδιθων καὶ βαραχια υἱὸς οσσα υἱοῦ ηλκανα ὁ κατοικῶν ἐν ταῖς κώμαις νετωφατι |
| [17]And the porters were Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brethren: Shallum was the chief. |
[17]οἱ πυλωροί σαλωμ καὶ ακουβ καὶ ταλμαν καὶ αιμαν καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν σαλωμ ὁ ἄρχων |
| [18]For they were porters to this time by companies of the children of Levi unto the king's gate eastward. |
[18]καὶ ἕως ταύτης ἐν τῇ πύλῃ τοῦ βασιλέως κατ ἀνατολάς αὗται αἱ πύλαι τῶν παρεμβολῶν υἱῶν λευι |
| [19]And Shallum the son of Kore the son of Ebiasaph the son of Korah, and his brethren the Korahites (of the house of their father) were over the work, and office to keep the gates of the tabernacle: so their families were over the host of the Lord, keeping the entry. |
[19]καὶ σαλωμ υἱὸς κωρη υἱοῦ αβιασαφ υἱοῦ κορε καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς οἶκον πατρὸς αὐτοῦ οἱ κορῖται ἐπὶ τῶν ἔργων τῆς λειτουργίας φυλάσσοντες τὰς φυλακὰς τῆς σκηνῆς καὶ πατέρες αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τῆς παρεμβολῆς κυρίου φυλάσσοντες τὴν εἴσοδον |
| [20]And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was their guide, and the Lord was with him. |
[20]καὶ φινεες υἱὸς ελεαζαρ ἡγούμενος ἦν ἐπ αὐτῶν ἔμπροσθεν καὶ οὗτοι μετ αὐτοῦ |
| [21]Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was the porter of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. |
[21]ζαχαριας υἱὸς μασαλαμι πυλωρὸς τῆς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου |
| [22]All these were chosen for porters of the gates, two hundred and twelve, which were numbered according to their genealogies by their towns. David established these and Samuel the seer in their perpetual office. |
[22]πάντες οἱ ἐκλεκτοὶ ταῖς πύλαις ἐν ταῖς πύλαις διακόσιοι καὶ δέκα δύο οὗτοι ἐν ταῖς αὐλαῖς αὐτῶν ὁ καταλοχισμὸς αὐτῶν τούτους ἔστησεν δαυιδ καὶ σαμουηλ ὁ βλέπων τῇ πίστει αὐτῶν |
| [23]So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of the house of the Lord, even of the house of the tabernacle by wards. |
[23]καὶ οὗτοι καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τῶν πυλῶν ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου ἐν οἴκῳ τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ φυλάσσειν |
| [24]The porters were in four quarters eastward, westward, northward and southward. |
[24]κατὰ τοὺς τέσσαρας ἀνέμους ἦσαν αἱ πύλαι κατ ἀνατολάς θάλασσαν βορρᾶν νότον |
| [25]And their brethren, which were in their towns, came at seven days from time to time with them. |
[25]καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν ἐν ταῖς αὐλαῖς αὐτῶν τοῦ εἰσπορεύεσθαι κατὰ ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἀπὸ καιροῦ εἰς καιρὸν μετὰ τούτων |
| [26]For these four chief porters were in perpetual office, and were of the Levites and had charge of the chambers, and of the treasures in the house of God. |
[26]ὅτι ἐν πίστει εἰσὶν τέσσαρες δυνατοὶ τῶν πυλῶν οἱ λευῖται ἦσαν ἐπὶ τῶν παστοφορίων καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν θησαυρῶν οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ |
| [27]And they lay round about the house of God, because the charge was theirs, and they caused it to be opened every morning. |
[27]καὶ περικύκλῳ οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ παρεμβαλοῦσιν ὅτι ἐπ αὐτοὺς φυλακή καὶ οὗτοι ἐπὶ τῶν κλειδῶν τὸ πρωὶ πρωὶ ἀνοίγειν τὰς θύρας τοῦ ἱεροῦ |
| [28]And certain of them had the rule of the ministering vessels: for they brought them in by tale, and brought them out by tale. |
[28]καὶ ἐξ αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὰ σκεύη τῆς λειτουργίας ὅτι ἐν ἀριθμῷ εἰσοίσουσιν αὐτὰ καὶ ἐν ἀριθμῷ ἐξοίσουσιν αὐτά |
| [29]Some of them also were appointed over the instruments, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, and of the flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the incense, and the sweet odors. |
[29]καὶ ἐξ αὐτῶν καθεσταμένοι ἐπὶ τὰ σκεύη καὶ ἐπὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη τὰ ἅγια καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς σεμιδάλεως τοῦ οἴνου τοῦ ἐλαίου τοῦ λιβανωτοῦ καὶ τῶν ἀρωμάτων |
| [30]And certain of the sons of the priests made ointments of sweet odors. |
[30]καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν τῶν ἱερέων ἦσαν μυρεψοὶ τοῦ μύρου καὶ εἰς τὰ ἀρώματα |
| [31]And Mattithiah one of the Levites which was the eldest son of Shallum the Korahite, had the charge of the things that were made in the frying pan. |
[31]καὶ ματταθιας ἐκ τῶν λευιτῶν οὗτος ὁ πρωτότοκος τῷ σαλωμ τῷ κορίτῃ ἐν τῇ πίστει ἐπὶ τὰ ἔργα τῆς θυσίας τοῦ τηγάνου τοῦ μεγάλου ἱερέως |
| [32]And other of their brethren the sons of Kohath had the oversight of the showbread to prepare it every Sabbath. |
[32]καὶ βαναιας ὁ κααθίτης ἐκ τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τῶν ἄρτων τῆς προθέσεως τοῦ ἑτοιμάσαι σάββατον κατὰ σάββατον |
| [33]And these are the singers, the chief fathers of the Levites, which dwelt in the chambers, and had none other charge: for they had to do in that business day and night: |
[33]καὶ οὗτοι ψαλτῳδοὶ ἄρχοντες τῶν πατριῶν τῶν λευιτῶν διατεταγμέναι ἐφημερίαι ὅτι ἡμέρα καὶ νὺξ ἐπ αὐτοῖς ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις |
| [34]These were the chief fathers of the Levites according to their generations, and the principal which dwelt at Jerusalem. |
[34]οὗτοι ἄρχοντες τῶν πατριῶν τῶν λευιτῶν κατὰ γενέσεις αὐτῶν ἄρχοντες οὗτοι κατῴκησαν ἐν ιερουσαλημ |
| [35]And in Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon, Jeiel, and the name of his wife was Maachah. |
[35]καὶ ἐν γαβαων κατῴκησεν πατὴρ γαβαων ιιηλ καὶ ὄνομα γυναικὸς αὐτοῦ μοωχα |
| [36]And his eldest son was Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab, |
[36]καὶ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ὁ πρωτότοκος αβαδων καὶ σιρ καὶ κις καὶ βααλ καὶ νηρ καὶ ναδαβ |
| [37]And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth. |
[37]καὶ γεδουρ καὶ ἀδελφὸς καὶ ζαχαρια καὶ μακελλωθ |
| [38]And Mikloth begat Shimeam: they also dwelt with their brethren at Jerusalem , even by their brethren. |
[38]καὶ μακελλωθ ἐγέννησεν τὸν σαμαα καὶ οὗτοι ἐν μέσῳ τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτῶν κατῴκησαν ἐν ιερουσαλημ μετὰ τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτῶν |
| [39]And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan and Malchishua, and Abinadab and Eshbaal. |
[39]καὶ νηρ ἐγέννησεν τὸν κις καὶ κις ἐγέννησεν τὸν σαουλ καὶ σαουλ ἐγέννησεν τὸν ιωναθαν καὶ τὸν μελχισουε καὶ τὸν αμιναδαβ καὶ τὸν ισβααλ |
| [40]And the son of Jonathan was Merib-baal: and Merib-baal begat Mica. |
[40]καὶ υἱὸς ιωναθαν μαριβααλ καὶ μαριβααλ ἐγέννησεν τὸν μιχα |
| [41]And the sons of Mica were Pithon, and Melech and Tahrea. |
[41]καὶ υἱοὶ μιχα φαιθων καὶ μαλαχ καὶ θαραχ |
| [42]And Ahaz begat Jehoadah, and Jehoadah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri, and Zimri begat Moza. |
[42]καὶ αχαζ ἐγέννησεν τὸν ιαδα καὶ ιαδα ἐγέννησεν τὸν γαλεμεθ καὶ τὸν γαζμωθ καὶ τὸν ζαμβρι καὶ ζαμβρι ἐγέννησεν τὸν μασα |
| [43]And Moza begat Binea, whose son was Rephaiah, and his son was Eleasah, and his son Azel. |
[43]καὶ μασα ἐγέννησεν τὸν βαανα ραφαια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ελεασα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ εσηλ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ |
| [44]And Azel had six sons, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ismael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan: these are the sons of Azel. |
[44]καὶ τῷ εσηλ ἓξ υἱοί καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα αὐτῶν εσδρικαμ πρωτότοκος αὐτοῦ ισμαηλ καὶ σαρια καὶ αβδια καὶ αναν οὗτοι υἱοὶ εσηλ |
