[1]Petros an apostle of Ieshu The Messiah to the chosen ones and pilgrims who are scattered in Pontus and in Galatia and in Qapadoqya and in Asia and in Bythunya |
[1]PETER, a legate of Jesus the Messiah, to the elect and sojourners, who are dispersed in Pontus and in Galatia, and in Cappadocia, and in Asia, and in Bithynia, |
[2]Those who have been chosen in the prior knowledge of Alaha The Father in sanctification of The Spirit that they will be for obedience and for sprinkling of the blood of Ieshu The Messiah grace and peace be multiplied to you |
[2]to them who have been chosen, by the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto the obedience and the sprinkling of the blood of Jesus the Messiah: May grace and peace abound towards you. |
[3]Blessed He Alaha His father of our Lord Ieshu The Messiah He who in His pity great begot us from the top by the resurrection of Ieshu The Messiah to the hope of life |
[3]Blessed be God, the Father of our Lord Jesus the Messiah, who in his great mercy hath begotten us anew, by the resurrection of our Lord Jesus the Messiah, to the hope of life, |
[4]And to an inheritance that not is destroyed neither defiled neither withers that which is prepared for you in Heaven |
[4]and to an inheritance incorruptible, undefiled, and unfading, which is prepared for you in heaven; |
[5]While are kept you by the power of Alaha and in the faith for the lives ready to be revealed to the time last |
[5]while ye are kept, by the power of God and by faith, for the life that is prepared and will be revealed in the last times; |
[6]In which lives you shall rejoice for eternity although in this time a little are wearied you with temptations various that come suddenly upon you |
[6]wherein ye will rejoice for ever, notwithstanding ye at the present time are pressed a little, by the various trials that pass over you; |
[7]So that the proof of your faith may appear which is worth more than gold refined which is tried in fire for glory and honor and praise in the revelation of Ieshu The Messiah |
[7]so that the proof of your faith may appear more precious than refined gold that is tested by fire, unto glory and honor and praise, at the manifestation of Jesus the Messiah: |
[8]Him Whom not you have seen and love you Him and by His faith rejoice greatly you with joy glorious that not is spoken |
[8]whom having not seen, ye love; and in the faith of whom ye rejoice, with joy that is glorious and ineffable, |
[9]That you may receive the reward of your faith the life of your souls |
[9]that ye may receive the recompense of your faith, the life of your souls; |
[10]Those lives which investigated they had about them the prophets when they prophesied about the grace that going was to be given to you |
[10]that life [namely], about which the prophets inquired, when they were prophesying of the grace which was to be given to you. |
[11]And they searched in what? time He shows and testifies The Spirit of The Messiah Who dwelt in them that were coming the sufferings of The Messiah and His glory that was from after that |
[11]And they searched for the time which the Spirit of the Messiah dwelling in them did show and testify, when the sufferings of the Messiah were to occur, and his subsequent glory. |
[12]And it was revealed to them all who searching were because not for themselves seeking they were but for us ours prophesying they were those now is revealed to you by those who evangelized you by The Spirit of Holiness Who is sent from Heaven into which these things long also the angels to gaze |
[12]And it was revealed to them, [in regard to] all they were searching, that, not for themselves were they inquiring, but for us they were prophesying of those things, which are now manifested to you by means of the things we have announced to you, by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven; which things the angels also desire to look into. |
[13]Because of this gird up the loins of your mind and be attentive perfectly and hope for the joy that is coming to you in the revelation of our Lord Ieshu The Messiah |
[13]Wherefore, gird up the loins of your minds. and be awake perfectly, and wait for the joy, which will come to you at the revelation of our Lord Jesus the Messiah, |
[14]As children obedient and not be you partaking again of your lusts former those that lusting you were without knowledge |
[14]as obedient children: and be ye not conversant again with those former lusts, with which ye lusted when without knowledge. |
[15]But be holy ones in all your way of life as holy He is Who called you |
[15]But be ye holy in all your conduct, as he is holy who hath called you. |
[16]Because it is written be you holy ones just as also I holy I am |
[16]Because it is written: Be ye holy, even as I am holy. |
[17]And if it is that The Father call on you Him without before Him accepting of faces and judges every person according to his works in reverence be led in time this of your pilgrimage |
[17]And if so be ye call on the Father, with whom is no respect of persons, and who judgeth every one according to his deeds, pass the time of your sojournment with fear; |
[18]When know you that not with silver which wears out and not with gold you were redeemed from your works worthless those that you received from your fathers |
[18]since ye know, that neither with perishable silver, nor with gold, ye were redeemed from your vain doings, which ye had by tradition from your fathers; |
[19]But with the blood precious of The Lamb Who blemish and defilement there is not in Him Who is The Messiah |
[19]but with the precious blood of that Lamb in which is no spot nor blemish, namely, the Messiah: |
[20]He before was appointed to this from before the foundation of the world and was manifested in the last of the times for you |
[20]who was predestined to this, before the foundation of the world; and was manifested at the termination of the times, for your sakes; |
[21]Those who by Him you believed in Alaha Him Who raised Him from the place of the dead and He has given to Him the glory that your faith and your hope would be upon Alaha |
[21]who, by means of him, have believed in God, who raised him from the dead and conferred glory on him; that your faith and hope might be in God, |
[22]As would be sanctified your souls in obedience of the truth and they may be filled with love without accepting of faces that from the heart pure and perfect you will be loving one another |
[22]while your minds became sanctified, by obedience to the truth; and ye be full of love, without respect of persons, so that ye love one another out of a pure and perfect heart; |
[23]As persons that from the top you were born not from the seed which fails but from what not fails by the word living of Alaha Who stands for eternity |
[23]like persons born again, not of seed that perisheth, but of that which doth not perish, by the living word of God, who abideth for ever. |
[24]Because all flesh grass and all its beauty as the blossom of the field withers grass and fades the blossom |
[24]Because all flesh is as grass, and all its beauty like the flower of the field. The grass drieth up, and the flower withereth away; |
[25]And the word of our Alaha stands for eternities and this is word that by which you are evangelized |
[25]but the word of our God abideth for ever: and this is the word that is announced to you. |
