| [1]על זבנא דינ ועדנא אחי לא סניקיתונ למכתב לכונ |
[1]About the times but and seasons my brothers not you need to be written to you |
| [2]אנתונ גיר שׁריראית ידעינ אנתונ דיומה דמרנ איכ גנבא בלליא הכנא אתא |
[2]You for truly know you that the day of our Lord as a thief in the night in this way comes |
| [3]כד נאמרונ דשׁלמא הו ושׁינא והידינ מנשׁליא נקומ עליהונ אבדנא איכ חבלא על בטנתא ולא נמדונ |
[3]When they will say "peace there is and quiet and then from the silence shall rise upon them destruction as labor pains upon a pregnant woman and not they will escape |
| [4]אנתונ דינ אחי לא הויתונ בחשׁוכא דהו יומא איכ גנבא נדרככונ |
[4]You but my brothers not you are in darkness that the day as a thief should overtake you |
| [5]כלכונ גיר בני נוהרא אנתונ ובני איממא ולא הויתונ בני לליא ולא בני חשׁוכא |
[5]All of you for children of light are and children of day and not you are children of night neither children of darkness |
| [6]לא נדמכ הכיל איכ שׁרכא אלא הוינ עירינ ומהונינ |
[6]Not let us sleep therefore as the rest but let us be watchful and prudent |
| [7]אילינ גיר דדמכינ בלליא הו דמכינ ואילינ דרוינ בלליא הו רוינ |
[7]Those for who sleep in the night are sleeping and those who are drunk in the night are drunk |
| [8]חננ דינ דבני איממא חננ הוינ עירינ ברעיננ ולבישׁינ שׁרינא דהימנותא ודחובא ונסימ סנורתא דסברא דחיא |
[8]We but of the children of the day are let us be vigilant in our minds and put on the breastplate of faith and of love and let us take the helmet of the hope of Life |
| [9]מטל דלא סמנ אלהא לרוגזא אלא לקנינא דחיא במרנ ישׁוע משׁיחא |
[9]Because that not has appointed us Alaha to wrath but to the possession of Life in our Lord Ieshu The Messiah |
| [10]הו דמית על אפינ דאנ עיריננ ואנ דמכיננ אכחדא עמה נחא |
[10]Him Who died for our sake that if we are awake or if we sleep as one with Him we shall live |
| [11]מטל הנא ביאו חד לחד ובנו חד לחד איכנא דאפ עבדיתונ |
[11]Because of this comfort one another and build up one another just as that also you have done |
| [12]בעיננ דינ מנכונ אחי דהויתונ ידעינ לאילינ דלאינ בכונ וקימינ באפיכונ במרנ ומלפינ לכונ |
[12]We beg but of you my brethren that you will recognize those who labor among you and have standing among you in our Lord and teach you |
| [13]דהוו חשׁיבינ לכונ בחובא יתירא ומטל עבדהונ אשׁתינו עמהונ |
[13]That you let them be esteemed to you in love greater and because of their works be at peace with them |
| [14]בעיננ דינ מנכונ אחי רדו למסכלנא ולבבו לזעורי נפשׁא וסבו טענא דמחילא ואגרו רוחכונ לות כלנשׁ |
[14]We beg but of you my brothers correct wrongdoers and encourage the feeble souls bear the burdens of the weak and be long in your spirit to every person |
| [15]ואזדהרו דלמא אנשׁ מנכונ בישׁתא חלפ בישׁתא נפרוע אלא בכלזבנ הרטו בתר טבתא לות חדדא ולות כלנשׁ |
[15]And beware lest anyone of you evil in place of evil may reward but in every time run after good towards each one and to every person |
| [16]הוו חדינ בכלזבנ |
[16]Be rejoicing in every time |
| [17]ומצלינ דלא שׁלוא |
[17]And pray without ceasing |
| [18]ובכל מדמ הוו מודינ הנו גיר צבינה דאלהא בישׁוע משׁיחא בכונ |
[18]And in every thing be giving thanks this is for the will of Alaha in Ieshu The Messiah in you |
| [19]רוחא לא תדעכונ |
[19]The Spirit not quench |
| [20]נביותא לא תסלונ |
[20]Prophecy not reject |
| [21]כלמדמ בקו ודשׁפיר אחודו |
[21]Everything explore and what is excellent hold |
| [22]ומנ כל צבו בישׁא ערוקו |
[22]And from every matter evil flee |
| [23]הו דינ אלהא דשׁלמא נקדשׁכונ גמיראית לכלכונ וכלה רוחכונ ונפשׁכונ ופגרכונ ננטר דלא רשׁינ למאתיתה דמרנ ישׁוע משׁיחא |
[23]He but The Alaha of peace shall make you holy perfectly all of you and whole your spirit and your soul and your body He shall keep without faults for the arrival of our Lord Ieshu The Messiah |
| [24]מהימנ הו מנ דקרכונ דהו נעבד |
[24]Faithful is He Who has called you it is He Who shall perform it |
| [25]אחי צלו עלינ |
[25]My brethren pray for us |
| [26]שׁאלו בשׁלמא דאחינ כלהונ בנושׁקתא קדישׁתא |
[26]Invoke the peace of our brethren all of them with a kiss holy |
| [27]מומא אנא לכונ במרנ דתתקרא אגרתא הדא לכלהונ אחא קדישׁא |
[27]Bind in an oath I you by our Lord that will be read letter this to all the brethren holy |
| [28]טיבותה דמרנ ישׁוע משׁיחא עמכונ אמינ |
[28]The grace of our Lord Ieshu The Messiah with you Amen |
