| [1]בקשׁישׁא לא תגעור אלא אפיסיהי איכ דלאבא ולאילינ דטלינ איכ דלאחיכ |
[1]An elder not rebuke but petition him as a father and to those who are young as your brothers |
| [2]ולקשׁישׁתא איכ אמהתא ולאילינ דטלינ איכ דלאחותכ בכלה דכיותא |
[2]And elder women as mothers and those who are younger as your sisters in all purity |
| [3]לארמלתא יקר לאילינ דארמלתא אנינ בשׁררא |
[3]Widows you honor those who widows are indeed |
| [4]ואנ אית ארמלתא דאית לה בניא או בני בניא נאלפונ לוקדמ דבבני ביתהונ נזדדקונ ונפרעונ חובלא לאבהיהונ הדא גיר מקבלא קדמ אלהא |
[4]And if there is a widow who has to her children or children of children let them learn first that with children of their households they should be assigned and they should pay compensation to their parents this for is acceptable before Alaha |
| [5]אידא דינ דשׁריראית ארמלתא הי ומשׁוחדתא הדא סברה על אלהא הו ואמינא בצלותא ובבעותא בלליא ובאיממא |
[5]She but who truly a widow is and alone this one her hope upon Alaha is and continues in prayer and in supplication by night and by day |
| [6]אידא דינ דפלחא אסטרניא מיתא הי כד חיא |
[6]She but who worships the Arena dead is while she lives |
| [7]הלינ הוית מפקד להינ דדלא רשׁינ נהוינ |
[7]These things you shall command them that without fault they may be |
| [8]אנ אנשׁ גיר דאילינ דדילה אנונ ויתיראית דאילינ דאיתיהונ בני ביתא דהימנותא לא יצפ הנא כפר לה בהימנותא ובישׁ הו מנ אילינ דלא מהימנינ |
[8]If a man for of those that his are and especially those who are children of the household of faith not takes care of this one has renounced to himself the faith and worse is than those who not are believers |
| [9]הוית הכיל גבא ארמלתא אידא דלא בצירא מנ שׁתינ שׁנינ אידא דלחד הו גברא הות |
[9]You shall therefore choose a widow who is not less than sixty years who one the same husband had |
| [10]ואית לה סהדותא דעבדא שׁפירא אנ רבית בניא אנ קבלת אכסניא אנ אשׁיגת רגליהונ דקדישׁא אנ ארוחת לאליצא אנ הלכת בכל עבד טב |
[10]And is to her a testimony of works good if she has raised children if she has received strangers if she has washed the feet of the saints if she has relieved the afflicted if she has walked in every work good |
| [11]מנ ארמלתא דינ אילינ דטלינ אשׁתאל ומצטרינ להינ גיר על משׁיחא ובעינ למהוא לגברא |
[11]From widows but those who are younger avoid separate these for from The Messiah and seek to have a husband |
| [12]ודינהינ קימ הו דטלמ הימנותהינ קדמיתא |
[12]And their judgment set is for they have rejected their faith former |
| [13]ילפנ דינ אפ חבננותא כד מתכרכנ בית בתא ולא בלחוד חבננותא אלא אפ דנסגינ ממללא ונפרקנ סריקתא ונמללנ מדמ דלא ולא |
[13]They learn but also laziness while going around house to house and not only laziness but also to increase talking and to take up vanities and to talk whatever not is appropriate |
| [14]צבא אנא הכיל דאילינ דטלינ נזדוגנ ונאלדנ בניא ונדברנ בתיהינ ולא נתלנ לבעלדבבא אפ לא חדא עלתא דצוחיתא |
[14]Willing I am therefore that those younger ones may marry and bear children and lead their homes and not give to enemies not even one occasion of abuse |
| [15]על דהשׁא גיר שׁריו אנשׁ אנשׁ למסטא בתר סטנא |
[15]Until now for they have begun one [by] one to turn after Satan |
| [16]אנ אנשׁ מהימנא או מהימנתא אית להונ ארמלתא נתרסונ אנינ ולא נאקרנ על עדתא דלאילינ דארמלתא אנינ דשׁררא תספק |
[16]If man believers or female believers have to them widows let them support them and not let them burden on the church that for those who widows are truly it may have enough |
| [17]קשׁישׁא אילינ דשׁפיר מתדברינ לאיקרא עפיפא נשׁוונ יתיראית אילינ דלאינ במלתא וביולפנא |
[17]Elders those that well are leading honor double deserve especially those who toil in the word and in teaching |
| [18]אמר גיר כתבא דלא תבלומ תורא בדרכתא ושׁוא הו פעלא אגרה |
[18]Say for the scriptures "not muzzle the ox while treading and deserves the laborer his wages |
| [19]על קשׁישׁא קטגרנותא לא תקבל אלא על פומ תרינ ותלתא סהדינ |
[19]Against an elder an accusation not accept but upon the mouth of two or three witnesses |
| [20]לאילינ דחטינ קדמ כל אנשׁ כונ דאפ שׁרכא דאנשׁא נדחלונ |
[20]Those who sin before every person rebuke that also the rest of the people may fear |
| [21]מסהד אנא לכ קדמ אלהא ומרנ ישׁוע משׁיחא ומלאכוהי גביא דהלינ תטר ולא נתקדמ רעינכ למדמ ולא תסעור מדמ במסב באפא |
[21]Testify I to you before Alaha and our Lord Ieshu The Messiah and His angels the chosen that these things you will observe and not let be prejudiced your mind for anything and not do anything by accepting of persons |
| [22]אידא בעגל על אנשׁ לא תסימ ולא תשׁתותפ בחטהא נוכריא נפשׁכ טר בדכיותא |
[22]Hands quickly on a man not lay and not share in the sins of strangers yourself keep in purity |
| [23]ומכיל מיא לא תשׁתא אלא חמרא קליל הוית שׁתא מטל אסטומככ ומטל כורהניכ אמינא |
[23]And from now on water not drink but wine a little do drink because of your stomach and because of your illness chronic |
| [24]אית בנינשׁא דחטהיהונ ידיעינ אנונ ומקדמינ להונ לבית דינא ואית דבתרהונ אזלינ |
[24]There are children of men whose sins known are and they precede them to the house of judgment and are which after them go |
| [25]הכנא אפ עבדא טבא ידיעינ אנונ ואילינ דאחרניאית אנונ למטשׁא לא משׁכחינ |
[25]In this way also works good known are and those that otherwise are be concealed not they can |
