[1]Paul The apostle of Ieshu The Messiah in the will of Alaha and Timotheos a brother to the assembly of Alaha that is in Qorinthus and to all the holy ones who are in Akaia all |
[1]PAUL a legate of Jesus the Messiah, by the good pleasure of God; and Timothy a brother; to the church of God that is at Corinth, and to all the saints that are in all Achaia. |
[2]Grace with you and peace from Alaha our Father and from our Lord Ieshu The Messiah |
[2]Grace be with you, and peace, from God our Father, and from our Lord Jesus the Messiah. |
[3]Blessed is Alaha The Father of our Lord Ieshu The Messiah The Father of mercy and The Alaha of every comfort |
[3]Blessed be God, the Father of our Lord Jesus the Messiah, the Father of mercies, and the God of all consolation; |
[4]He Who comforts us in all our afflictions that also we can comfort those who in all our afflictions are by that comfort by which we are comforted from Alaha |
[4]who comforteth us in all our afflictions, that we also might be able to comfort those who are in all afflictions, with the consolation wherewith we are comforted by God. |
[5]Just as for abound in us the sufferings of The Messiah in this way by The Messiah abound also our comforts |
[5]For, as the sufferings of the Messiah abound in us, so also our consolation aboundeth by the Messiah. |
[6]If also but we are afflicted for the the sake of your comfort it is and for the sake of your life we are afflicted and if we are comforted so that you may be comforted and there may be in you diligence to endure them the sufferings those that also we we suffer such |
[6]And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and for your life that we are afflicted; or whether we be comforted, it is, that ye may be comforted; and that there may be in you an eagerness, wherewith ye may endure those sufferings which we also suffer. |
[7]And our hope that for you sure is we know for that if partners you are in suffering partners you are also in comfort |
[7]And our hope concerning you is steadfast: for we know, that if ye partake of the sufferings, ye will also partake of the consolation. |
[8]We want but you to know brethren concerning the affliction that was us in Asia that greatly we were afflicted beyond our power until about were our lives to perish |
[8]But, my brethren, we wish you to know, respecting the affliction that was upon us in Asia, that we were afflicted exceedingly, beyond our strength, insomuch that our life was ready to terminate. |
[9]And about ourselves we had passed a sentence of death that not we would have to us trust upon ourselves but upon Alaha He Who raises the dead |
[9]And we passed a sentence of death upon ourselves, that our confidence might not be in ourselves, but in God, who raiseth up the dead; |
[10]He Who from death violent has delivered us and again we hope that He will deliver us |
[10]who rescued us from imminent death: and we hope that he will again rescue us, |
[11]By the help of your prayers that were for our persons that may be His gift that is to us a favor that is done for the sake of the many and the many may confess Him because of our persons |
[11]by the aid of your prayers in our behalf; so that his gift to us may be a favor done for the sake of many, and many may praise him on our account. |
[12]Our pride for is this the testimony of our conscience that in generosity and in purity and in the grace of Alaha we have been employed in the world and not in wisdom of the flesh and all the more with you and yours |
[12]For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and purity, and by the grace of God, and not in the wisdom of the flesh, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially towards you. |
[13]Not there have been other things we write to you but those things that know you also acknowledge you trust I but that until the end you will acknowledge |
[13]We write no other things unto you, than those which ye know and acknowledge. And I trust, ye will acknowledge them to the end: |
[14]Just as that also you have acknowledged a little from much that your pride we are as that also you are ours in the day of our Lord Ieshu The Messiah |
[14]as ye have also partially acknowledged that we are your rejoicing, as ye also are ours, in the day of our Lord Jesus the Messiah. |
[15]In this trust willing I was from the first to come to you that doubly you might receive grace |
[15]And in this confidence, I was before disposed to come to you, that ye might receive the grace doubly; |
[16]And I shall pass by you to Maqedonia and again from Maqedonia to you I shall come and you will accompany me to Judea |
[16]and to pass by you into Macedonia, and again to come to you from Macedonia, and [so] ye would accompany me to Judaea. |
[17]This therefore that I purposed interrogative as suddenly did I purpose? or perhaps of the flesh are those things that plan I so that it necessary has been for there to be in them Yes Yes and No No |
[17]When therefore I thus purposed, did I purpose as one inconsiderate? Or, were the things I purposed, things of the flesh; so that there should be in them Yes, yes, and No, no? |
[18]Trustworthy is Alaha that not was our word that unto you Yes and No |
[18]God is the witness, that our word to you was not Yes and No. |
[19]The Son for of Alaha Ieshu The Messiah He Who by us was preached to you by me and by Silvanus and by Timotheos not was Yes and No but Yes was in Him |
[19]For the Son of God, Jesus the Messiah, who was preached to you by us, [namely,] by me, by Sylvanus, and by Timotheus, was not Yes and No; but it was Yes in him. |
[20]All of them for the promises of Alaha in Him that is in The Messiah Yes were because of this by Him we give the Amen to the glory of Alaha |
[20]For all the promises of God in him, the Messiah, are Yes; for which cause, we through him give [our] Amen, to the glory of God. |
[21]Alaha is but establishing us with you in The Messiah He Who has anointed us |
[21]Now it is God who establisheth us, with you, in the Messiah, and hath anointed us, |
[22]And He has sealed us and He has given the down payment of His Spirit in our hearts |
[22]and hath sealed us, and hath given the earnest of his Spirit in our hearts. |
[23]I but to Alaha testifying am of my soul that because had pity I for you not I came to Qorinthus |
[23]Moreover, I call God for a witness on my soul, that it was in order to spare you, that I came not to Corinth. |
[24]Not was because lords of your faith we are but helpers we are of your joy by faith it is for stand you |
[24]Not that we are lords over your faith, but we are helpers of your joy; for it is by faith ye stand. |
