[1]Do we begin ourselves again from the first to show you what? we are or interrog. do we have need as others that letters of commandments be written to you about us or that you should write to command concerning us |
[1]Do we begin again to show you who we are? Or do we, like others, need that letters recommendatory of us should be written to you? Or, that ye should write recommendations of us? |
[2]Our letter but ours you are that is written in our heart and known and read by everyone |
[2]Ye are our epistle, written on our hearts, and known and read by every man. |
[3]You know for that His letter you are of The Messiah that is ministered by us which is written not in ink but by The Spirit of Alaha The Living not in tablets of stone but in tablets of the heart of flesh |
[3]For ye know that ye are an epistle of the Messiah, ministered by us; not written with ink, but by the Spirit of the living God; not on tables of stone, but on the tablets of the heart of flesh. |
[4]Trust but in this way is us in The Messiah to Alaha |
[4]And such confidence have we in the Messiah towards God. |
[5]Not that we are sufficient to think anything as that from ourselves but our power from Alaha is |
[5]Not that we are sufficient to think any thing as of ourselves; but our efficiency is from God: |
[6]He Who made us worthy to be ministers of the covenant new not by writing but by The Spirit the writing for kills The Spirit but gives life |
[6]who hath fitted us to be ministers of the new Testament, not in the letter, but in the Spirit; for the letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life. |
[7]If but the ministry of death in the writing carved in stone was with glory so that not would be able the children of Israel to gaze at the face of Moses because of the glory of his face that which has been cancelled |
[7]Now if the ministration of death was engraved upon stones in writing, and was so glorious that the children of Israel could not look on the face of Moses, on account of the glory upon his face which vanished away; |
[8]How? therefore the ministry of The Spirit not all the more will be with glory |
[8]how then shall not the ministration of the Spirit be still more glorious? |
[9]If for the ministry of a guilty verdict was glory one How much more? shall superabound the ministry of righteousness in glory |
[9]For if there was glory in the ministration of condemnation, how much more shall the ministration of justification excel in glory? |
[10]As that for not even is glorious that which was glorified by comparison of that glory excellent |
[10]For that which was glorious, was as if not glorious, in comparison with this which excelleth in glory. |
[11]If for anything that has been eliminated with glory has been all the more that which remains with glory shall be |
[11]For if that which is abolished was glorious, much more must that which abideth be glorious. |
[12]Because there is to us therefore this hope all the more in open eye we conduct ourselves |
[12]Seeing therefore we have this hope, we the more speak with boldness; |
[13]And not as Moses who laid had a veil over his face that not would gaze the children of Israel at the termination of that which was ceasing |
[13]and are not like Moses, who threw a vail over his face, that the children of Israel might not behold the termination of that which was abolished. |
[14]But they were blinded in their understanding until for today whenever The Testament Old is read is that veil remaining over them and not it is revealed that by The Messiah that is being abolished |
[14]But they were blinded in their understanding; for until this day, when the old Testament is read, the same vail resteth upon them; nor is it manifest [to them], that it is abolished by the Messiah. |
[15]And until today whenever is read Moses the veil over their heart is laid |
[15]And unto this day, when Moses is read, a vail is thrown upon their hearts. |
[16]And whenever anyone of them will be turned to the Lord is taken away from him the veil |
[16]But when any of them is turned unto the Lord, the vail is taken from him. |
[17]The Lord but is The Spirit and wherever The Spirit of the Lord freedom is |
[17]Now the Lord himself is the Spirit. And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. |
[18]We but all of us with faces unveiled The glory of the Lord as in a mirror we see and into it into the image we are changed from glory to glory as from the Lord The Spirit |
[18]And we all, with uncovered faces, behold as in a mirror the glory of the Lord; and are transformed into the same likeness, from glory to glory, as by the Lord the Spirit. |
