[1]We know for that if our house that in earth this of the body will be destroyed but there is for us a building that is from Alaha a house without the work of hands in Heaven for eternity |
[1]And we witen, that if oure ertheli hous of this dwellynge be dissoluyd, that we han a bildyng of God, an hous not maad bi hondis, euerlastynge in heuenes. |
[2]Also concerning this for we are made to groan and we long to wear our house that is from Heaven |
[2]For whi in this thing we mornen, coueitynge to be clothid aboue with oure dwellyng, which is of heuene; if netheles we ben foundun clothid, |
[3]If not also whenever we are clothed we shall be found to us naked |
[3]and not nakid. |
[4]When we being for now in this house we are made to groan from its weight and not we want to strip it but to put on over it that may be swallowed its mortality by Life |
[4]For whi and we that ben in this tabernacle, sorewen with ynne, and ben heuyed, for that we wolen not be spuylid, but be clothid aboue; that the ilke thing that is deedli, be sopun vp of lijf. |
[5]And He Who prepares us for it for this is Alaha He it is Who gives us the down payment of His Spirit |
[5]But who is it that makith vs in to this same thing? God, that yaf to vs the ernes of the spirit. |
[6]Because we know therefore and we are convinced as long as in the body we dwell we are away from home from our Lord |
[6]Therfor we ben hardi algatis, and witen that the while we ben in this bodi, we goen in pilgrymage fro the Lord; |
[7]By faith it is for we walk and not by sight |
[7]for we walken bi feith, and not bi cleer siyt. |
[8]Because of this we trust and we long to depart from the body and to be with our Lord |
[8]But we ben hardi, and han good wille, more to be in pilgrymage fro the bodi, and to be present to God. |
[9]We are diligent that if away from home we are or if an inhabitant to Him we may be pleasing |
[9]And therfor we stryuen, whether absent, whether present, to plese hym. |
[10]We all for we are going to stand before the throne of The Messiah that will be paid each man in his body anything that was done by him if of good or if of evil |
[10]For it bihoueth vs alle to be schewid bifor the trone of Crist, that euery man telle the propre thingis of the bodi, as he hath don, ethir good, ether yuel. |
[11]Because we know therefore the awesomeness of our Lord the children of men it is we persuade to Alaha but we are revealed hope I but that also to your understanding yours we are revealed |
[11]Therfor we witynge the drede of the Lord, councelen men, for to God we ben opyn; and Y hope, that we ben opyn also in youre consciencis. |
[12]Not it has been again ourselves we praise to you but occasion it is we give to you that you may be boasting in us in the presence of those who in appearance it is they are boasting and not in the heart |
[12]We comenden not vs silf eftsoone to you, but we yyuen to you occasioun to haue glorie for vs, that ye haue to hem that glorien in the face, and not in the herte. |
[13]If for we are insane it is for Alaha and if we are conventional for you |
[13]For ethir we bi mynde passen to God, ether we ben sobre to you. |
[14]The love for of The Messiah compels us that we reason this that One in the place of every person died so then every person died with Him |
[14]For the charite of Crist dryueth vs; gessynge this thing, that if oon died for alle, thanne alle weren deed. |
[15]And in the place of every person He died that those who live not for themselves would live but for The One Who Who for their persons died and arose |
[15]And Crist diede for alle, that thei that lyuen, lyue not now to hem silf, but to hym that diede for hem, and roos ayen. |
[16]And from now we a person by the body not we know and if we have known in the body The Messiah but from now not we know |
[16]Therfor we fro this tyme knowen no man aftir the fleische; thouy we knowun Crist aftir the fleisch, but nowe we knowun not. |
[17]All that which in The Messiah is therefore the creation is new the old order has passed away with such |
[17]Therfor if ony newe creature is in Crist, the elde thingis ben passid. |
[18]And every thing has become new from Alaha He Who reconciled us to Himself by The Messiah and He has given us the ministry of the reconciliation |
[18]And lo! alle thingis ben of God, which recounselide vs to hym bi Crist, and yaf to vs the seruyce of recounselyng. |
[19]Alaha was for in The Messiah He Who reconciled the universe with His majesty and not accounted to them their sins and He has placed in us our own message of the reconciliation |
[19]And God was in Crist, recounselynge to hym the world, not rettynge to hem her giltes, and puttide in vs the word of recounselyng. |
[20]Ambassabors we are therefore in the place of The Messiah and as if He Who is Alaha requested of you by us in the place of The Messiah therefore we beseech be reconciled to Alaha |
[20]Therfor we vsen message for Crist, as if God monestith bi vs; we bisechen for Crist, be ye recounselid to God. |
[21]He for Who not known had sin in your place sin made Himself that we would become by Him the righteousness of Alaha |
[21]God the fadir made hym synne for vs, which knewe not synne, that we schulden be maad riytwisnesse of God in hym. |
