[1]After this, now Dauid smote the Philistines, and subdued them: and Dauid toke the bridel of bondage out of the hand of the Philistines [1]καὶ ἐγένετο μετὰ ταῦτα καὶ ἐπάταξεν δαυιδ τοὺς ἀλλοφύλους καὶ ἐτροπώσατο αὐτούς καὶ ἔλαβεν δαυιδ τὴν ἀφωρισμένην ἐκ χειρὸς τῶν ἀλλοφύλων
[2]And he smote the Moabites, and measured them with a lyne, and cast them downe to the grounde, euen with two lynes measured he them, to put them to death, and with one full corde to kepe them alyue: And so became the Moabites Dauids seruauntes, and brought giftes [2]καὶ ἐπάταξεν δαυιδ τὴν μωαβ καὶ διεμέτρησεν αὐτοὺς ἐν σχοινίοις κοιμίσας αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν καὶ ἐγένετο τὰ δύο σχοινίσματα τοῦ θανατῶσαι καὶ τὰ δύο σχοινίσματα ἐζώγρησεν καὶ ἐγένετο μωαβ τῷ δαυιδ εἰς δούλους φέροντας ξένια
[3]Dauid smote also Hadarezer ye sonne of Rehob king of Zoba, as he went to recouer his border at the ryuer Pherath [3]καὶ ἐπάταξεν δαυιδ τὸν αδρααζαρ υἱὸν ρααβ βασιλέα σουβα πορευομένου αὐτοῦ ἐπιστῆσαι τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὸν ποταμὸν εὐφράτην
[4]And Dauid toke of his, a thousand and seuen hundred horsemen, and destroyed all the charets, and twentie thousand footemen: but reserued an hundred charets of them [4]καὶ προκατελάβετο δαυιδ τῶν αὐτοῦ χίλια ἅρματα καὶ ἑπτὰ χιλιάδας ἱππέων καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδας ἀνδρῶν πεζῶν καὶ παρέλυσεν δαυιδ πάντα τὰ ἅρματα καὶ ὑπελίπετο ἐξ αὐτῶν ἑκατὸν ἅρματα
[5]And when the Syrians of Damascon came to succour Hadarezer king of Zoba, Dauid slue of the Syrians two and twentie thousand men [5]καὶ παραγίνεται συρία δαμασκοῦ βοηθῆσαι τῷ αδρααζαρ βασιλεῖ σουβα καὶ ἐπάταξεν δαυιδ ἐν τῷ σύρῳ εἴκοσι δύο χιλιάδας ἀνδρῶν
[6]And put souldiers in Syria Damascon: And the Syrians became seruautes to Dauid, and brought giftes, and the Lorde saued Dauid, in all that he went vnto [6]καὶ ἔθετο δαυιδ φρουρὰν ἐν συρίᾳ τῇ κατὰ δαμασκόν καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ σύρος τῷ δαυιδ εἰς δούλους φέροντας ξένια καὶ ἔσωσεν κύριος τὸν δαυιδ ἐν πᾶσιν οἷς ἐπορεύετο
[7]And Dauid toke the shieldes of golde that belonged to the seruauntes of Hadarezer, & brought them to Hierusalem [7]καὶ ἔλαβεν δαυιδ τοὺς χλιδῶνας τοὺς χρυσοῦς οἳ ἦσαν ἐπὶ τῶν παίδων τῶν αδρααζαρ βασιλέως σουβα καὶ ἤνεγκεν αὐτὰ εἰς ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἔλαβεν αὐτὰ σουσακιμ βασιλεὺς αἰγύπτου ἐν τῷ ἀναβῆναι αὐτὸν εἰς ιερουσαλημ ἐν ἡμέραις ροβοαμ υἱοῦ σολομῶντος
[8]And out of Beta and Berothai, cities of Hadarezer, did Dauid bryng exceeding much brasse [8]καὶ ἐκ τῆς μασβακ ἐκ τῶν ἐκλεκτῶν πόλεων τοῦ αδρααζαρ ἔλαβεν ὁ βασιλεὺς δαυιδ χαλκὸν πολὺν σφόδρα ἐν αὐτῷ ἐποίησεν σαλωμων τὴν θάλασσαν τὴν χαλκῆν καὶ τοὺς στύλους καὶ τοὺς λουτῆρας καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη
[9]When Thoi king of Hamath heard how Dauid had smitten all the hoast of Hadarezer [9]καὶ ἤκουσεν θοου ὁ βασιλεὺς ημαθ ὅτι ἐπάταξεν δαυιδ πᾶσαν τὴν δύναμιν αδρααζαρ
[10]Thoi sent Ioram his sonne vnto king Dauid, to salute him, and to blesse him, because he had fought against Hadarezer, and beaten him (for Thoi had great warre with Hadarezer) And [Ioram] brought with him vessels of siluer, vessels of golde, and vessels of brasse [10]καὶ ἀπέστειλεν θοου ιεδδουραν τὸν υἱὸν αὐτοῦ πρὸς βασιλέα δαυιδ ἐρωτῆσαι αὐτὸν τὰ εἰς εἰρήνην καὶ εὐλογῆσαι αὐτὸν ὑπὲρ οὗ ἐπολέμησεν τὸν αδρααζαρ καὶ ἐπάταξεν αὐτόν ὅτι ἀντικείμενος ἦν τῷ αδρααζαρ καὶ ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν αὐτοῦ ἦσαν σκεύη ἀργυρᾶ καὶ σκεύη χρυσᾶ καὶ σκεύη χαλκᾶ
[11]Which brasse king Dauid did dedicate vnto the Lorde, with the siluer & golde that he had deditate of al nations which he subdued [11]καὶ ταῦτα ἡγίασεν ὁ βασιλεὺς δαυιδ τῷ κυρίῳ μετὰ τοῦ ἀργυρίου καὶ μετὰ τοῦ χρυσίου οὗ ἡγίασεν ἐκ πασῶν τῶν πόλεων ὧν κατεδυνάστευσεν
[12]Of Syria, of the Moabites, & of the children of Ammon, of the Philistines, and of Hamalek, and of the spoyle of Hadarezer sonne of Rehob king of Zoba [12]ἐκ τῆς ιδουμαίας καὶ ἐκ τῆς γῆς μωαβ καὶ ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν αμμων καὶ ἐκ τῶν ἀλλοφύλων καὶ ἐξ αμαληκ καὶ ἐκ τῶν σκύλων αδρααζαρ υἱοῦ ρααβ βασιλέως σουβα
[13]And Dauid gat him a name after that he returned & had smitten of the Syrians in the valley of salt 18 thousand men [13]καὶ ἐποίησεν δαυιδ ὄνομα καὶ ἐν τῷ ἀνακάμπτειν αὐτὸν ἐπάταξεν τὴν ιδουμαίαν ἐν γαιμελε εἰς ὀκτωκαίδεκα χιλιάδας
[14]And he put a garison in Edom, euen throughout all Edom put he souldiers, and all they of Edom became Dauids seruauntes: And the Lorde kept Dauid whatsoeuer he toke in hand [14]καὶ ἔθετο ἐν τῇ ιδουμαίᾳ φρουράν ἐν πάσῃ τῇ ιδουμαίᾳ καὶ ἐγένοντο πάντες οἱ ιδουμαῖοι δοῦλοι τῷ βασιλεῖ καὶ ἔσωσεν κύριος τὸν δαυιδ ἐν πᾶσιν οἷς ἐπορεύετο
[15]And Dauid raigned ouer all Israel, and executed iudgement and iustice vnto all his people [15]καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν δαυιδ ἐπὶ ισραηλ καὶ ἦν δαυιδ ποιῶν κρίμα καὶ δικαιοσύνην ἐπὶ πάντα τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ
[16]And Ioab the sonne of Zaruia was ouer the hoast, & Iehosaphat the sonne of Ahilud was recorder [16]καὶ ιωαβ υἱὸς σαρουιας ἐπὶ τῆς στρατιᾶς καὶ ιωσαφατ υἱὸς αχια ἐπὶ τῶν ὑπομνημάτων
[17]And Sadoc the sonne of Ahitob, and Ahimelech the sonne of Abiathar were the priestes, & Saraiah was the scribe [17]καὶ σαδδουκ υἱὸς αχιτωβ καὶ αχιμελεχ υἱὸς αβιαθαρ ἱερεῖς καὶ ασα ὁ γραμματεύς
[18]And Banaiahu the sonne of Iehoida and the Cherethites, and the Phelethites, and Dauids sonnes, were chiefe rulers [18]καὶ βαναιας υἱὸς ιωδαε σύμβουλος καὶ ὁ χελεθθι καὶ ὁ φελεττι καὶ υἱοὶ δαυιδ αὐλάρχαι ἦσαν
