| [1]בהו דינ זבנא ארמי הוא אידיא על אנשׁינ דבעדתא איכ דנבאשׁ להונ הרודס מלכא הו דמתכנא הוא אגרפוס |
[1]In that but time laying was hands on people who were in the churches so as to do evil to them Herodus the King he who surnamed was Agrippus |
| [2]וקטל בסיפא ליעקוב אחוהי דיוחננ |
[2]And he murdered with the sword Yaqob the brother of Yokhanan |
| [3]וכד חזא דשׁפרת הדא ליהודיא אוספ הוא למאחד אפ לשׁמעונ כאפא ואיתיהונ הוו יומתא דפטירא |
[3]And when he saw that pleased this the Judeans proceeding he was to seize also Shimeon Kaypha and they were the days of unleavened bread |
| [4]ואחדה וארמיה בית אסירא ואשׁלמ לה שׁתתעסר סטרטוטינ דנטרונה דמנ בתר פצחא נשׁלמיוהי לעמא דיהודיא |
[4]And he arrested him and cast him in a house prisoner and delivered him to sixteen soldiers to guard him that from after Passover he would deliver him to the people of Judea |
| [5]וכד הו שׁמעונ מתנטר הוא בית אסירא צלותא אמינתא מתקרבא הות מנ עדתא חלפוהי לאלהא |
[5]And while was Shimeon guarded he was in the house prisoner prayer continual offered was by the church for him to Alaha |
| [6]ובה בהו לליא דלצפרא עתיד הוא דנשׁלמיוהי כד דמכ הוא שׁמעונ בית תרינ אסטרטיוטינ ואסיר הוא בתרתינ שׁשׁלנ ואחרנא נטרינ הוו תרעא דבית אסירא |
[6]And in it in that night when toward dawn going he was to hand him over while asleep was Shimeon between two soldiers and bound he was in two chains and the others keeping they were the gate of the house prisoner |
| [7]מלאכא דמריא קמ לעל מנה ונוהרא אזלג בכלה ביתא ודקרה בגבה ואקימה ואמר לה קומ עגל ונפל שׁשׁלתא מנ אידוהי |
[7]The Angel of the Lord stood over him and the light shone in the entire place and he jabbed him in his side and he raised him up and he said to him arise quickly and fell the chains from his hands |
| [8]ואמר לה מלאכא אסור חציכ וסאנ טלריכ ועבד הכנא ותוב אמר לה אתעטפ תכסיתכ ותא בתרי |
[8]And said to him The Angel wrap your garment around your waist and put on your sandals and he did thus and again he said to him wrap your cloak and come after me |
| [9]ונפק ואזל הוא בתרה כד לא ידע הוא דשׁרירא הות הי דהויא הות ביד מלאכא סבר הוא גיר דחזוא חזא הוא |
[9]And he went out and going he was after him when not he knew it was real was that which happening was by the hand of The Angel thought he for that a vision seeing he was |
| [10]וכד עברו מטרתא קדמיתא ודתרתינ אתו עדמא לתרעא דפרזלא ואתפתח להונ מנ צבות נפשׁה וכד נפקו ועברו שׁוקא חד פרק מנ לותה מלאכא |
[10]And when they passed the watch the first and the second they came unto the gate of iron and it opened to them from will its own and when they went forth and they passed street one departed from him The Angel |
| [11]הידינ אשׁתודע שׁמעונ ואמר השׁא ידעת בקושׁתא דמריא שׁדר מלאכה ופלטני מנ אידה דהרודס מלכא ומנ מדמ דמתחשׁבינ הוו עלי יהודיא |
[11]Then realized Shimeon and said now I know in truth that the Lord has sent His Angel and has saved me from the hand of Herodus the King and from the thing that plotting were against me the Judeans |
| [12]וכד אסתכל אתא לה לביתא דמרימ אמה דיוחננ הו דאתכני מרקוס מטל דאחא סגיאא תמנ כנישׁינ הוו ומצלינ |
[12]And as he considered he came to it the house of Mary the mother of Yokhanan him who was surnamed Marqus because brethren many there gathered were and praying |
| [13]ונקשׁ בתרעא דדרתא ונפקת דתעניוהי טליתא דשׁמה רודא |
[13]And he knocked at the door of the courtyard and went out to answer it a girl whose name was Roda |
| [14]ואשׁתודעת קלה דשׁמעונ ובחדותה לא פתחת לה תרעא אלא הפכת ברהטא ואמרא להונ שׁמעונ הא קאמ על תרעא דדרתא |
[14]And she recognized the voice of Shimeon and in her joy not she opened to him the door but she returned while running and saying to them Shimeon behold he stands at the door of the courtyard |
| [15]אמרינ לה מזע זעתי לכי והי מתחריא הות דהדא הכנא הי אמרינ לה כבר מלאכה הו |
[15]They were saying to her ? are unstable you and she protesting was that this so was they were saying to her perhaps his messenger it is |
| [16]ושׁמעונ נקשׁ הוא בתרעא ונפקו חזאוהי ותמהו להונ |
[16]And Shimeon knocking was at the gate and they went out they saw him and they marveled among themselves |
| [17]ומניפ הוא להונ אידה איכ דנשׁתקונ להונ ועל ואשׁתעי להונ איכנא מריא אפקה מנ בית אסירא ואמר להונ אשׁתעו הלינ ליעקוב ולאחינ ונפק אזל לה לאתר אחרינ |
[17]And gesturing he was to them with his hand so as to silence them and he entered and related to them how the Lord brought him out from the house prisoner and he said to them relate these things to Yaqob and to the brethren and he went out went he to place another |
| [18]וכד הוא צפרא הוא הוא רובא סגיאא בית אסטרטיוטא על שׁמעונ דמנא הוא לה |
[18]And when it was morning there was an uproar great among the soldiers about Shimeon what? had happened to him |
| [19]הרודס דינ כד בעיהי ולא אשׁכחה דנ אנונ לנטורא ופקד דנמותונ ונפק לה מנ יהוד ואיתוהי הוא בקסריא |
[19]Herodus but when searched for him and not found him he judged them the guards and ordered to execute them and went out he from Judea and remaining he was in Qesaria |
| [20]ומטל דרגיז הוא על צוריא ועל צידניא אתכנשׁו ואתו לותה אכחדא ואפיסו לבלסטוס קיטונקנה דמלכא ושׁאלו מנה דנהוא להונ שׁינא מטל דפורנסא דאתרהונ מנ מלכותה הוא דהרודס |
[20]And because at enmity he was against the Tsurians and against the Tsidonians they gathered and they came to him as one and they persuaded Blastus the Chamberlain of The King and they asked of him that there be for them a peace treaty because the sustenance of their countries from the kingdom was of Herodus |
| [21]ביומא דינ ידיעא לבשׁ הוא הרודס לבושׁא דמלכותא ויתב על בימ וממלל הוא עמ כנשׁא |
[21]On a day but notable wearing was Herodus clothing of the kingdom and he sat down on the judgment seat and speaking he was with the crowd |
| [22]עמא דינ כלה קעא הוא ואמר הלינ בנת קלא דאלהא אנינ ולא הוי דבנינשׁא |
[22]The people but all crying out were and said these daughter voice of Alaha are and not are of children of men |
| [23]וחלפ דלא יהב תשׁבוחתא לאלהא בה בשׁעתא מחיהי מלאכה דמריא ורפת בתולעא ומית |
[23]And because that not he gave the glory to Alaha in it in the hour struck him The Angel of the Lord and he was infested with worms and he died |
| [24]וסברתא דאלהא מתכרזא הות ורביא |
[24]And the gospel of Alaha proclaimed was and it grew |
| [25]ברנבא דינ ושׁאול פנו מנ אורשׁלמ לאנטיוכי מנ בתר דשׁלמו תשׁמשׁתהונ ודברו עמהונ ליוחננ הו דאתכני מרקוס |
[25]BarNaba but and Shaul returned from Jerusalem to Antiokai from after they finished their service and took with them Yokhanan he who was surnamed Marqus |
