[1]And from after this we learned that Melita was called this island [2]And Barbarians who dwelling were in him kindness great showed to us and kindled a fire and called us us all to get warm because of the rain much the cold that there was [3]And Paulus took a bunch of sticks and set on the fire and came out from them a viper from the heat of the fire and it bit his hand [4]And when saw The Barbarians it hanging on his hand saying they were perhaps this man a murderer is who when he escaped from the sea justice not let him live [5]Was but Paulus shook his hand and threw it the viper into the fire and anything that was bad not happened to him [6]Thinking they were but the Barbarians that son of an hour he would sweel up and drop being dead on the ground and when time much they had waited and they saw that an effect bad not occurred to him they changed their words and said "A god he is" [7]There was but a village in it in that place a man one whose name was Puplios he who was The Chief of the island and he received us into his house three days joyfully [8]The father but of Puplios with fever and with disease of the intestines ill he was and entered his presence Paulus and prayed and laid upon him his hand and healed him [9]And when happened this also the rest those who were in it on the island sick coming were to him and healed they were [10]And honor great they honored us and when going out we were from there they loaded us with provisions [11]We went out but after months three and journied a ship Alexandrian which wintered had in it in the island and there was on it the sign of the Twins [12]And we came to Suraquse the city and we remained there days three [13]And from there we traveled around and we came to Region the city and after day one blew for us the wind of the south and in two days we came to Putielos a city of Italia [14]And we found there brethren and they begged of us and we were with them days seven and then we went on to Rome [15]And when heard brethren there they came forth to meet us unto the forum which is called Apius-Forus and unto Three Taverns and when saw them Paulus praised Alaha and he was encouraged [16]And we entered Rome and allowed the Centurion Paulus to dwell where he wanted with the soldier him who guarding was him [17]And from after three days sent Paulus called the rulers of the Jews and when they assembled he said to them men brothers I when in a thing not I have stood against the people The Law of my fathers from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans in bonds I was handed over [18]And they when they examined me they wished to release me because that not found after me the rulers anything deserving death [19]And as standing were against me the Jews I was compelled to call for an appeal to Qesar not as if had I to accuse anything against the children of my people [20]Because of this I begged of you to come and I may see you and to relate to you these things because of the hope for of Israel bound I am in chain this [21]Were saying to him they we a letter about you not have we received from Judea neither a man from the brothers who came from Jerusalem said to us anything evil about you [22]We desire but to hear from you what think you because teaching this we know by anyone not is acceptable [23]And they appointed to him a day and they gathered and came to him many where dwelling he was and he revealed to them concerning the kingdom of Alaha as he testified and persuaded them about Ieshu from The Law of Moshe and from The Prophets from morning and until evening [24]And some of them persuaded were by his words and others not persuaded were [25]And they were dismissed from his presence when not agreeing with one another and said to them he Paulus saying this well spoke The Spirit of Holiness by the mouth of Isaiah the Prophet against your fathers [26]When he said Go to people this and say to them 'hearing you will hear and not you will understand and you will see and not you will observe [27]Has become hard it for the heart of people this and their hearing they have dulled and their eyes have they shut lest they shall see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand in their hearts and turn to Me and I would forgive them [28]Know you therefore this that to the nations it is sent this salvation of Alaha they for also they are listening to it [29]And when these things he said went forth the Jews and many debating were among them [30]And hired himself Paulus from his own house and he was in it two years and receiving he was there all of them those who coming were to him [31]And preaching he was about the kingdom of Alaha and teaching he was eye in the public about our Lord Ieshu The Messiah without hindrance
