| [1]τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις μωαβ καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι αὐτόν ἀνθ ὧν κατέκαυσαν τὰ ὀστᾶ βασιλέως τῆς ιδουμαίας εἰς κονίαν |
[1]Thus saithH559[H8804] the LORDH3068; For threeH7969 transgressionsH6588 of MoabH4124, and for fourH702, I will not turn awayH7725[H8686] the punishment thereof; because he burnedH8313[H8800] the bonesH6106 of the kingH4428 of EdomH123 into limeH7875: |
| [2]καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ πῦρ ἐπὶ μωαβ καὶ καταφάγεται θεμέλια τῶν πόλεων αὐτῆς καὶ ἀποθανεῖται ἐν ἀδυναμίᾳ μωαβ μετὰ κραυγῆς καὶ μετὰ φωνῆς σάλπιγγος |
[2]But I will sendH7971[H8765] a fireH784 upon MoabH4124, and it shall devourH398[H8804] the palacesH759 of KeriothH7152: and MoabH4124 shall dieH4191[H8804] with tumultH7588, with shoutingH8643, and with the soundH6963 of the trumpetH7782: |
| [3]καὶ ἐξολεθρεύσω κριτὴν ἐξ αὐτῆς καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἄρχοντας αὐτῆς ἀποκτενῶ μετ αὐτοῦ λέγει κύριος |
[3]And I will cut offH3772[H8689] the judgeH8199[H8802] from the midstH7130 thereof, and will slayH2026[H8799] all the princesH8269 thereof with him, saithH559[H8804] the LORDH3068. |
| [4]τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις υἱῶν ιουδα καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι αὐτόν ἕνεκα τοῦ ἀπώσασθαι αὐτοὺς τὸν νόμον κυρίου καὶ τὰ προστάγματα αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἐφυλάξαντο καὶ ἐπλάνησεν αὐτοὺς τὰ μάταια αὐτῶν ἃ ἐποίησαν οἷς ἐξηκολούθησαν οἱ πατέρες αὐτῶν ὀπίσω αὐτῶν |
[4]Thus saithH559[H8804] the LORDH3068; For threeH7969 transgressionsH6588 of JudahH3063, and for fourH702, I will not turn awayH7725[H8686] the punishment thereof; because they have despisedH3988[H8800] the lawH8451 of the LORDH3068, and have not keptH8104[H8804] his commandmentsH2706, and their liesH3577 caused them to errH8582[H8686], afterH310 the which their fathersH1 have walkedH1980:[H8804] |
| [5]καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ πῦρ ἐπὶ ιουδαν καὶ καταφάγεται θεμέλια ιερουσαλημ |

| [6]τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις ισραηλ καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι αὐτόν ἀνθ ὧν ἀπέδοντο ἀργυρίου δίκαιον καὶ πένητα ἕνεκεν ὑποδημάτων |
[6]Thus saithH559[H8804] the LORDH3068; For threeH7969 transgressionsH6588 of IsraelH3478, and for fourH702, I will not turn awayH7725[H8686] the punishment thereof; because they soldH4376[H8800] the righteousH6662 for silverH3701, and the poorH34 for a pair of shoesH5275; |
| [7]τὰ πατοῦντα ἐπὶ τὸν χοῦν τῆς γῆς καὶ ἐκονδύλιζον εἰς κεφαλὰς πτωχῶν καὶ ὁδὸν ταπεινῶν ἐξέκλιναν καὶ υἱὸς καὶ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ εἰσεπορεύοντο πρὸς τὴν αὐτὴν παιδίσκην ὅπως βεβηλώσωσιν τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ θεοῦ αὐτῶν |

| [8]καὶ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτῶν δεσμεύοντες σχοινίοις παραπετάσματα ἐποίουν ἐχόμενα τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου καὶ οἶνον ἐκ συκοφαντιῶν ἔπινον ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τοῦ θεοῦ αὐτῶν |
[8]And they lay themselves downH5186[H8686] upon clothesH899 laid to pledgeH2254[H8803] byH681 every altarH4196, and they drinkH8354[H8799] the wineH3196 of the condemnedH6064[H8803] in the houseH1004 of their godH430. |
| [9]ἐγὼ δὲ ἐξῆρα τὸν αμορραῖον ἐκ προσώπου αὐτῶν οὗ ἦν καθὼς ὕψος κέδρου τὸ ὕψος αὐτοῦ καὶ ἰσχυρὸς ἦν ὡς δρῦς καὶ ἐξῆρα τὸν καρπὸν αὐτοῦ ἐπάνωθεν καὶ τὰς ῥίζας αὐτοῦ ὑποκάτωθεν |
[9]Yet destroyedH8045[H8689] I the AmoriteH567 beforeH6440 them, whose heightH1363 was like the heightH1363 of the cedarsH730, and he was strongH2634 as the oaksH437; yet I destroyedH8045[H8686] his fruitH6529 from aboveH4605, and his roots from beneathH8328. |
| [10]καὶ ἐγὼ ἀνήγαγον ὑμᾶς ἐκ γῆς αἰγύπτου καὶ περιήγαγον ὑμᾶς ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη τοῦ κατακληρονομῆσαι τὴν γῆν τῶν αμορραίων |
[10]Also I brought you upH5927[H8689] from the landH776 of EgyptH4714, and ledH3212[H8686] you fortyH705 yearsH8141 through the wildernessH4057, to possessH3423[H8800] the landH776 of the AmoriteH567. |
| [11]καὶ ἔλαβον ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν ὑμῶν εἰς προφήτας καὶ ἐκ τῶν νεανίσκων ὑμῶν εἰς ἁγιασμόν μὴ οὐκ ἔστιν ταῦτα υἱοὶ ισραηλ λέγει κύριος |
[11]And I raised upH6965[H8686] of your sonsH1121 for prophetsH5030, and of your young menH970 for NazaritesH5139. Is it not even thus, O ye childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478? saithH5002[H8803] the LORDH3068. |
| [12]καὶ ἐποτίζετε τοὺς ἡγιασμένους οἶνον καὶ τοῖς προφήταις ἐνετέλλεσθε λέγοντες οὐ μὴ προφητεύσητε |
[12]But ye gave the NazaritesH5139 wineH3196 to drinkH8248[H8686]; and commandedH6680[H8765] the prophetsH5030, sayingH559[H8800], ProphesyH5012 notH8735. |
| [13]διὰ τοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ κυλίω ὑποκάτω ὑμῶν ὃν τρόπον κυλίεται ἡ ἅμαξα ἡ γέμουσα καλάμης |
[13]Behold, I am pressedH5781[H8688] under you, as a cartH5699 is pressedH5781[H8686] that is fullH4392 of sheavesH5995. |
| [14]καὶ ἀπολεῖται φυγὴ ἐκ δρομέως καὶ ὁ κραταιὸς οὐ μὴ κρατήσῃ τῆς ἰσχύος αὐτοῦ καὶ ὁ μαχητὴς οὐ μὴ σώσῃ τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ |
[14]Therefore the flightH4498 shall perishH6[H8804] from the swiftH7031, and the strongH2389 shall not strengthenH553[H8762] his forceH3581, neither shall the mightyH1368 deliverH4422[H8762] himselfH5315: |
| [15]καὶ ὁ τοξότης οὐ μὴ ὑποστῇ καὶ ὁ ὀξὺς τοῖς ποσὶν αὐτοῦ οὐ μὴ διασωθῇ οὐδὲ ὁ ἱππεὺς οὐ μὴ σώσῃ τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ |
[15]Neither shall he standH5975[H8799] that handlethH8610[H8802] the bowH7198; and he that is swiftH7031 of footH7272 shall not deliverH4422[H8762] himself: neither shall he that ridethH7392[H8802] the horseH5483 deliverH4422[H8762] himselfH5315. |
| [16]καὶ εὑρήσει τὴν καρδίαν αὐτοῦ ἐν δυναστείαις ὁ γυμνὸς διώξεται ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ λέγει κύριος |
[16]And he that is courageousH533[H3820] among the mightyH1368 shall flee awayH5127[H8799] nakedH6174 in that dayH3117, saithH5002[H8803] the LORDH3068. |
