| [1]פולוס שׁליחא דישׁוע משׁיחא בצבינה דאלהא וטימתאוס אחא |
[1]PAULOS, an apostle of Jeshu the Meshiha by the will of Aloha, and the brother Timotheos, |
| [2]לאילינ דאית בקולסוס אחא קדישׁא ומהימנא בישׁוע משׁיחא שׁלמא עמכונ וטיבותא מנ אלהא אבונ |
[2]To those who are in Kulosos, the holy brethren and believers in Jeshu Meshiha: peace be with you, and grace from Aloha our Father. |
| [3]מודיננ לאלהא אבוהי דמרנ ישׁוע משׁיחא בכלזבנ ומצליננ עליכונ |
[3]We give thanks to Aloha the Father of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha in all time, and pray on your behalf, |
| [4]הא מנ דשׁמענ הימנותכונ דבישׁוע משׁיחא וחובכונ דלות כלהונ קדישׁא |
[4]Even from our hearing of your faith in Jeshu Meshiha, and of your love to all the saints; |
| [5]מטל סברא הו דנטיר לכונ בשׁמיא הו דמנ קדימ שׁמעתונ במלתא דקושׁתא דסברתא |
[5]For the hope which is kept for you in heaven, which at the first you heard through the word of the truth of the gospel, |
| [6]הי דאתכרזת לכונ איכ דאפ לכלה עלמא ורביא ויהבא פארא איכנא דאפ בכונ מנ יומא דשׁמעתונ ואשׁתודעתונ טיבותה דאלהא בקושׁתא |
[6]Which is preached to you, as also to all the world, and increaseth and giveth fruits, as also in you from the day that you heard, and knew the grace of Aloha in truth, |
| [7]איכ מא דילפתונ מנ אפפרא כנתנ חביבא דהו איתוהי חלפיכונ משׁמשׁנא מהימנא דמשׁיחא |
[7]As you learned from Epaphra our beloved companion, who is himself for you a faithful minister of the Meshiha, |
| [8]והו אודענ חובכונ דברוחא |
[8]And who hath made known to us your love, which is in the Spirit. |
| [9]מטלהנא אפ חננ מנ יומא דשׁמענ לא שׁליננ למצליו עליכונ ולמשׁאל דתתמלונ ידעתא דצבינה דאלהא בכל חכמא ובכל סוכל דרוח |
[9]ON account of this also we, from the day that we heard, have not ceased to pray for you, and to supplicate that you may be filled with the knowledge of the will of Aloha in all wisdom and in all spiritual understanding, |
| [10]דתהלכונ איכ דזדק ותשׁפרונ לאלהא בכל עבדינ טבינ ותתלונ פארא ותרבונ בידעתא דאלהא |
[10]And may walk according to that which is just, and may please Aloha in all good works, and may yield fruit, and increase in the knowledge of Aloha; |
| [11]ובכל חיל תתחילונ איכ רבותא דשׁובחה בכל מסיברנו ובמגרת רוח ובחדותא |
[11]And in all power be empowered according to the greatness of his glory in all patience and prolongedness of spirit: |
| [12]תודונ לאלהא אבא דאשׁוינ למנתא דירתותא דקדישׁא בנוהרא |
[12]And with joy may give thanks to Aloha the Father, who hath fitted us for a portionⓘ of the inheritance of the saints in light, |
| [13]ופרקנ מנ שׁולטנה דחשׁוכא ואיתינ למלכותא דברה חביבא |
[13]And hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and brought us into the kingdom of his beloved Son, |
| [14]הו דבה אית לנ פורקנא ושׁובקנא דחטהא |
[14]In whom we have redemption and the forgiveness of sins: |
| [15]הו דהויו דמותא דאלהא דלא מתחזא ובוכרא דכלהינ בריתא |
[15]Who is the image of Aloha the unseen,ⓘ and the first-born of all the creatures. |
| [16]ובה אתברי כלמדמ דבשׁמיא ובארעא כל דמתחזא וכל דלא מתחזא אנ מותבא ואנ מרותא ואנ ארכוס ואנ שׁולטנא כלמדמ באידה ובה אתברי |
[16]And by him was every thing created that is in heaven and in earth; all that is seen, and all that is unseen, whether thrones or dominions, or princes or powers; all things by his hand and through him were created; |
| [17]והויו דמנ קדמ כל וכלמדמ בה קאמ |
[17]And he is before all, and every thing by him subsisteth. |
| [18]והויו רשׁא דפגרא דעדתא דאיתוהי רשׁא ובוכרא דמנ בית מיתא דנהוא קדמי בכל |
[18]And he is the head of the body of the church, [he] who is the chief and first-born from among the dead, that he should be preeminent in all. |
| [19]דבה הו צבא כלה מוליא למעמר |
[19]For in him (the Father) hath willed all fulness to dwell; |
| [20]ובאידה למרעיו לה כלמדמ ושׁינ בדמא דזקיפה באידוהי אנ דבארעא ואנ דבשׁמיא |
[20]And by him to reconcile all things to himself, and to make peace through the blood of his cross, [even] by him, whether they be inhabitants in earth or in heaven. |
| [21]אפ לכונ דמנ קדימ נוכריא הויתונ ובעלדבבא ברעיניכונ מטל עבדיכונ בישׁא שׁינכונ השׁא |
[21]YOU also, who before were aliens and adversaries in your minds by your evil works, |
| [22]בפגרא דבסרה ובמותה דנקימכונ קדמוהי קדישׁינ דלא מומ ודלא רשׁינ |
[22]Hath he reconciled now in the body of his flesh and through his death, to constitute you saints before him without spot and without blame; |
| [23]אנ תקוונ בהימנותכונ כד שׁרירא שׁתאסתכונ ולא מתתזיעיתונ מנ סברא דאונגליונ הו דשׁמעתונ דאתכרז בכלה בריתא דתחית שׁמיא הו דאנא פולוס הוית משׁמשׁנה |
[23]If you continue in your faith, your foundation being firm, and be not moved from the hope of the gospel which you have heard, and which is proclaimed to every creature who is under heaven, of which I, Paulos, am made a minister. |
| [24]וחדא אנא בחשׁא דעל אפיכונ וממלא אנא חסירותא דאולצנוהי דמשׁיחא בבסרי חלפ פגרה דאיתוהי עדתא |
[24]I rejoice in the sufferings which are on your account, and fulfil the void of the afflictions of the Meshiha in my flesh for the sake of his body, which is the church; |
| [25]הי דאנא הוית משׁמשׁנה איכ מדברנותא דאלהא דאתיהבת לי בכונ דאשׁמלא מלתה דאלהא |
[25]Of which I am made a minister according to the dispensation of Aloha, which was given to me for you, to accomplish the word of Aloha; |
| [26]ארזא הו דמכסי הוא מנ עלמא ומנ דרא השׁא דינ אתגלי לקדישׁוהי |
[26]That mystery which was hidden from ages and generations, but now hath been revealed unto his saints. |
| [27]לאילינ דצבא אלהא דנודע מנו עותרא דשׁובחה דארזא הנא בעממא דהויו משׁיחא דבכונ סברא דשׁובחנ |
[27]To whom Aloha hath willed to make known what is the opulence of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is, The Meshiha, who in you [is] the hope of glory; |
| [28]הו דחננ מכרזיננ ומלפיננ ומסכליננ לכל ברנשׁ בכל חכמא דנקימ לכל ברנשׁ כד גמיר בישׁוע משׁיחא |
[28]Whom we proclaim, and [concerning whom] we teach and inform every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Jeshu Meshiha; |
| [29]בהדא הו גיר אפ עמל אנא ומתכתשׁ אנא במעדרנותא דחילא דמתיהב לי |
[29]For which also I labour and contend, according to the help of the power which is given to me. |
