[1]At the end of [every] seven years thou shalt make a release. |
| [2]καίC οὕτωςD ὁRA-NSN πρόσταγμαN3M-NSN ὁRA-GSF ἄφεσιςN3I-GSF ἀποἵημιVF-FAI2S πᾶςA3-ASN χρέοςN3E-ASN ἴδιοςA1A-ASN ὅςRR-ASN ὀφείλωV1-PAI3S σύRP-DS ὁRA-NSM πλησίονD καίC ὁRA-ASM ἀδελφόςN2-ASM σύRP-GS οὐD ἀποαἰτέωVF-FAI2S ὅτιC ἐπικαλέωVM-XPI3S ἄφεσιςN3I-NSF κύριοςN2-DSM ὁRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM σύRP-GS |
[2]And this [is] the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth [ought] unto his neighbour shall release [it]; he shall not exact [it] of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called the LORD's release. |

[3]Of a foreigner thou mayest exact [it again]: but [that] which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall release; |
| [4]ὅτιC οὐD εἰμίVF-FMI3S ἐνP σύRP-DS ἐνδεήςA3H-NSM ὅτιC εὐλογέωV2-PAPNSM εὐλογέωVF-FAI3S σύRP-AS κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS ἐνP ὁRA-DSF γῆN1-DSF ὅςRR-DSF κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS δίδωμιV8-PAI3S σύRP-DS ἐνP κλῆροςN2-DSM κατακληρονομέωVA-AAN αὐτόςRD-ASF |
[4]Save when there shall be no poor among you; for the LORD God shall greatly bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee [for] an inheritance to possess it: |
| [5]ἐάνC δέX ἀκοήN1-DSF εἰςἀκούωVA-AAS2P ὁRA-GSF φωνήN1-GSF κύριοςN2-GSM ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM σύRP-GP φυλάσσωV1-PAN καίC ποιέωV2-PAN πᾶςA1S-APF ὁRA-APF ἐντολήN1A-APF οὗτοςRD-APF ὅσοςA1-APF ἐγώRP-NS ἐντέλλομαιV1-PMI1S σύRP-DS σήμερονD |
[5]Only if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all these commandments which I command thee this day. |
| [6]ὅτιC κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS εὐλογέωVA-AAI3S σύRP-AS ὅςRR-ASM τρόποςN2-ASM λαλέωVAI-AAI3S σύRP-DS καίC δανείζωVF2-FAI2S ἔθνοςN3E-DPN πολύςA1-DPN σύRP-NS δέX οὐD δανείζωVF2-FMI2S καίC ἄρχωVF-FAI2S σύRP-NS ἔθνοςN3E-GPN πολύςA1-GPN σύRP-GS δέX οὐD ἄρχωVF-FAI3P |
[6]For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee. |
| [7]ἐάνC δέX γίγνομαιVB-AMS3S ἐνP σύRP-DS ἐνδεήςA3H-NSM ὁRA-GPM ἀδελφόςN2-GPM σύRP-GS ἐνP εἷςA1A-DSF ὁRA-GPF πόλιςN3I-GPF σύRP-GS ἐνP ὁRA-DSF γῆN1-DSF ὅςRR-DSF κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS δίδωμιV8-PAI3S σύRP-DS οὐD ἀποστέργωVF-FAI2S ὁRA-ASF καρδίαN1A-ASF σύRP-GS οὐδέC οὐD μήD συνφίγγωVA-AAS2S ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF σύRP-GS ἀπόP ὁRA-GSM ἀδελφόςN2-GSM σύRP-GS ὁRA-GSM ἐπιδέωV2-PMPGSM |
[7]If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother: |
| [8]ἀναοἴγωV1-PAPNSM ἀναοἴγωVF-FAI2S ὁRA-APF χείρN3-APF σύRP-GS αὐτόςRD-DSM δάνειονN2N-ASN δανείζωVF2-FAI2S αὐτόςRD-DSM ὅσοςA1-ASN ἐπιδέωV2-PMI3S κατάP ὅσοςA1-ASN ἐνδέωVF2-FMI3S |
[8]But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, [in that] which he wanteth. |
| [9]προςἔχωV1-PAD2S σεαυτοῦRD-DSM μήD γίγνομαιVB-AMS3S ῥῆμαN3M-NSN κρυπτόςA1-ASM ἐνP ὁRA-DSF καρδίαN1A-DSF σύRP-GS ἀνόμημαN3M-NSN λέγωV1-PAPNSM ἐγγίζωV1-PAI3S ὁRA-NSN ἔτοςN3E-NSN ὁRA-NSN ἕβδομοςA1-NSN ἔτοςN3E-NSN ὁRA-GSF ἄφεσιςN3I-GSF καίC πονηρεύομαιVA-AMS3S ὁRA-NSM ὀφθαλμόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS ὁRA-DSM ἀδελφόςN2-DSM σύRP-GS ὁRA-DSM ἐπιδέωV2-PMPDSM καίC οὐD δίδωμιVF-FAI2S αὐτόςRD-DSM καίC βοάωVF-FMI3S κατάP σύRP-GS πρόςP κύριοςN2-ASM καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ἐνP σύRP-DS ἁμαρτίαN1A-NSF μέγαςA1-NSF |
[9]Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee. |

[10]Thou shalt surely give him, and in thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hands unto. |
| [11]οὐD γάρX μήD ἐκλείπωVB-AAS3S ἐνδεήςA3H-NSM ἀπόP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF διάP οὗτοςRD-ASN ἐγώRP-NS σύRP-DS ἐντέλλομαιV1-PMI1S ποιέωV2-PAN ὁRA-ASN ῥῆμαN3M-ASN οὗτοςRD-ASN λέγωV1-PAPNSM ἀναοἴγωV1-PAPNSM ἀναοἴγωVF-FAI2S ὁRA-APF χείρN3-APF σύRP-GS ὁRA-DSM ἀδελφόςN2-DSM σύRP-GS ὁRA-DSM πένηςN3T-DSM καίC ὁRA-DSM ἐπιδέωV2-PMPDSM ὁRA-DSM ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF σύRP-GS |
[11]For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land. |
| [12]ἐάνC δέX πιπράσκωVC-APS3S σύRP-DS ὁRA-NSM ἀδελφόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS ὁRA-NSM *εβραῖοςA1A-NSM ἤC ὁRA-NSF *εβραῖοςA1A-NSF δουλεύωVF-FAI3S σύRP-DS ἕξM ἔτοςN3E-APN καίC ὁRA-DSN ἕβδομοςA1-DSN ἐκ ἀποστέλλωVF2-FAI2S αὐτόςRD-ASM ἐλεύθεροςA1A-ASM ἀπόP σύRP-GS |
[12][And] if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee. |
| [13]ὅτανD δέX ἐκ ἀποστέλλωV1-PAS2S αὐτόςRD-ASM ἐλεύθεροςA1A-ASM ἀπόP σύRP-GS οὐD ἐκ ἀποστέλλωVF2-FAI2S αὐτόςRD-ASM κενόςA1-ASM |
[13]And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty: |
| [14]ἐφόδιονN2N-ASN ἐφοδιάζωVF-FAI2S αὐτόςRD-ASM ἀπόP ὁRA-GPN πρόβατονN2N-GPN σύRP-GS καίC ἀπόP ὁRA-GSM σῖτοςN2-GSM σύRP-GS καίC ἀπόP ὁRA-GSF ληνόςN2-GSF σύRP-GS καθάD εὐλογέωVA-AAI3S σύRP-AS κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS δίδωμιVF-FAI2S αὐτόςRD-DSM |
[14]Thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: of that wherewith the LORD thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him. |
| [15]καίC μιμνήσκωVS-FPI2S ὅτιC οἰκέτηςN1M-NSM εἰμίV9-IAI2S ἐνP γῆN1-DSF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF καίC λυτρόωVAI-AMI3S σύRP-AS κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS ἐκεῖθενD διάP οὗτοςRD-ASN ἐγώRP-NS σύRP-DS ἐντέλλομαιV1-PMI1S ποιέωV2-PAN ὁRA-ASN ῥῆμαN3M-ASN οὗτοςRD-ASN |
[15]And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing to day. |
| [16]ἐάνC δέX λέγωV1-PAS3S πρόςP σύRP-AS οὐD ἐκἔρχομαιVF-FMI1S ἀπόP σύRP-GS ὅτιC ἀγαπάωVX-XAI3S σύRP-AS καίC ὁRA-ASF οἰκίαN1A-ASF σύRP-GS ὅτιC εὖD αὐτόςRD-DSM εἰμίV9-PAI3S παράP σύRP-DS |
[16]And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go away from thee; because he loveth thee and thine house, because he is well with thee; |
| [17]καίC λαμβάνωVF-FMI2S ὁRA-ASN ὀπήτιονN2N-ASN καίC τρυπάωVF-FAI2S ὁRA-ASN ὠτίονN2N-ASN αὐτόςRD-GSM πρόςP ὁRA-ASF θύραN1A-ASF καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S σύRP-DS οἰκέτηςN1M-NSM εἰςP ὁRA-ASM αἰώνN3W-ASM καίC ὁRA-ASF παιδίσκηN1-ASF σύRP-GS ποιέωVF-FAI2S ὡσαύτωςD |
[17]Then thou shalt take an awl, and thrust [it] through his ear unto the door, and he shall be thy servant for ever. And also unto thy maidservant thou shalt do likewise. |
| [18]οὐD σκληρόςA1A-NSN εἰμίVF-FMI3S ἐναντίονP σύRP-GS ἐκ ἀποστέλλωV1-PMPGPM αὐτόςRD-GPM ἐλεύθεροςA1A-GPM ἀπόP σύRP-GS ὅτιC ἐφέτιοςA1A-ASM μισθόςN2-ASM ὁRA-GSM μισθωτόςA1-GSM δουλεύωVAI-AAI3S σύRP-DS ἕξM ἔτοςN3E-APN καίC εὐλογέωVF-FAI3S σύRP-AS κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS ἐνP πᾶςA3-DPM ὅςRR-DPM ἐάνC ποιέωV2-PAS2S |
[18]And it shall not seem hard unto thee, when thou sendest him away free from thee; for he hath been worth a double hired servant [to thee], in serving thee six years: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all that thou doest. |
| [19]πᾶςA3-NSN πρωτότοκοςA1B-NSN ὅςRR-NSN ἐάνC τίκτωVQ-APS3S ἐνP ὁRA-DPM βοῦςN3-DPM σύRP-GS καίC ἐνP ὁRA-DPN πρόβατονN2N-DPN σύRP-GS ὁRA-APN ἀρσενικόςA1-APN ἁγιάζωVF-FAI2S κύριοςN2-DSM ὁRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM σύRP-GS οὐD ἐργάζομαιVF2-FMI2S ἐνP ὁRA-DSM πρωτότοκοςA1B-DSM μόσχοςN2-DSM σύRP-GS καίC οὐD μήD κείρωVA-AAS2S ὁRA-ASN πρωτότοκοςA1B-ASN ὁRA-GPN πρόβατονN2N-GPN σύRP-GS |
[19]All the firstling males that come of thy herd and of thy flock thou shalt sanctify unto the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work with the firstling of thy bullock, nor shear the firstling of thy sheep. |
| [20]ἔναντιP κύριοςN2-GSM ἐσθίωVF-FMI2S αὐτόςRD-ASN ἐνιαυτόςN2-ASM ἐκP ἐνιαυτόςN2-GSM ἐνP ὁRA-DSM τόποςN2-DSM ὅςRR-DSM ἐάνC ἐκλέγωVA-AMS3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS σύRP-NS καίC ὁRA-NSM οἶκοςN2-NSM σύRP-GS |
[20]Thou shalt eat [it] before the LORD thy God year by year in the place which the LORD shall choose, thou and thy household. |
| [21]ἐάνC δέX εἰμίV9-PAS3S ἐνP αὐτόςRD-DSN μῶμοςN2-NSM χωλόςA1-NSN ἤC τυφλόςA1-NSN ἤC καίC πᾶςA3-NSM μῶμοςN2-NSM πονηρόςA1A-NSM οὐD θύωVF-FAI2S αὐτόςRD-ASN κύριοςN2-DSM ὁRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM σύRP-GS |
[21]And if there be [any] blemish therein, [as if it be] lame, or blind, or have any ill blemish, thou shalt not sacrifice it unto the LORD thy God. |
| [22]ἐνP ὁRA-DPF πόλιςN3I-DPF σύRP-GS ἐσθίωVF-FMI2S αὐτόςRD-ASN ὁRA-NSM ἀκάθαρτοςA1B-NSM ἐνP σύRP-DS καίC ὁRA-NSM καθαρόςA1A-NSM ὡσαύτωςD ἐσθίωVF-FMI3S ὡςC δορκάςN3D-ASF ἤC ἔλαφοςN2-ASM |
[22]Thou shalt eat it within thy gates: the unclean and the clean [person shall eat it] alike, as the roebuck, and as the hart. |

[23]Only thou shalt not eat the blood thereof; thou shalt pour it upon the ground as water. |
