[1]And it shall be when thou shalt have entered into the land, which the Lord thy God gives thee to inherit it, and thou shalt have inherited it, and thou shalt have dwelt upon it, |
| [2]καίC λαμβάνωVF-FMI2S ἀπόP ὁRA-GSF ἀπαρχήN1-GSF ὁRA-GPM καρπόςN2-GPM ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF σύRP-GS ὅςRR-GSF κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS δίδωμιV8-PAI3S σύRP-DS καίC ἐνβάλλωVF2-FAI2S εἰςP κάρταλλοςN2-ASM καίC πορεύομαιVF-FMI2S εἰςP ὁRA-ASM τόποςN2-ASM ὅςRR-ASM ἄνX ἐκλέγωVA-AMS3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS ἐπικαλέωVC-APN ὁRA-ASN ὄνομαN3M-ASN αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐκεῖD |
[2]that thou shalt take of the first of the fruits of thy land, which the Lord thy God gives thee, and thou shalt put them into a basket, and thou shalt go to the place which the Lord thy God shall choose to have his name called there. |
| [3]καίC ἔρχομαιVF-FMI2S πρόςP ὁRA-ASM ἱερεύςN3V-ASM ὅςRR-NSM ἐάνC εἰμίV9-PAS3S ἐνP ὁRA-DPF ἡμέραN1A-DPF ἐκεῖνοςRD-DPF καίC εἶπονVF2-FAI2S πρόςP αὐτόςRD-ASM ἀναἀγγέλλωV1-PAI1S σήμερονD κύριοςN2-DSM ὁRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM ἐγώRP-GS ὅτιC εἰςἔρχομαιVX-XAI1S εἰςP ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF ὅςRR-ASF ὄμνυμιVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-DPM πατήρN3-DPM ἐγώRP-GP δίδωμιVO-AAN ἐγώRP-DP |
[3]And thou shalt come to the priest who shall be in those days, and thou shalt say to him, I testify this day to the Lord my God, that I am come into the land which the Lord sware to our fathers to give to us. |
| [4]καίC λαμβάνωVF-FMI3S ὁRA-NSM ἱερεύςN3V-NSM ὁRA-ASM κάρταλλοςN2-ASM ἐκP ὁRA-GPF χείρN3-GPF σύRP-GS καίC τίθημιVF-FAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASM ἀπέναντιP ὁRA-GSN θυσιαστήριονN2N-GSN κύριοςN2-GSM ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM σύRP-GS |
[4]And the priest shall take the basket out of thine hands, and shall set it before the altar of the Lord thy God: |
| [5]καίC ἀποκρίνωVC-FPI2S καίC εἶπονVF2-FAI2S ἔναντιP κύριοςN2-GSM ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM σύRP-GS *συρίαN--AS ἀποβάλλωVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM πατήρN3-NSM ἐγώRP-GS καίC καταβαίνωVZI-AAI3S εἰςP *αἴγυπτοςN2-ASF καίC παραοἰκέωVAI-AAI3S ἐκεῖD ἐνP ἀριθμόςN2-DSM βραχύςA3U-DSM καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S ἐκεῖD εἰςP ἔθνοςN3E-ASN μέγαςA1P-ASN καίC πλῆθοςN3E-ASN πολύςA1P-ASN καίC μέγαςA1P-ASN |
[5]and he shall answer and say before the Lord thy God, My father abandoned Syria, and went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a small number, and became there a mighty nation and a great multitude. |
| [6]καίC κακόωVAI-AAI3P ἐγώRP-AP ὁRA-NPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-NPM καίC ταπεινόωVAI-AAI3P ἐγώRP-AP καίC ἐπιτίθημιVAI-AAI3P ἐγώRP-DP ἔργονN2N-APN σκληρόςA1A-APN |
[6]And the Egyptians afflicted us, and humbled us, and imposed hard tasks on us: |
| [7]καίC ἀναβοάωVAI-AAI1P πρόςP κύριοςN2-ASM ὁRA-ASM θεόςN2-ASM ὁRA-GPM πατήρN3-GPM ἐγώRP-GP καίC εἰςἀκούωVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-GSF φωνήN1-GSF ἐγώRP-GP καίC ὁράωVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-ASF ταπείνωσιςN3I-ASF ἐγώRP-GP καίC ὁRA-ASM μόχθοςN2-ASM ἐγώRP-GP καίC ὁRA-ASM θλιμμόςN2-ASM ἐγώRP-GP |
[7]and we cried to the Lord our God, and the Lord heard our voice, and saw our humiliation, and our labour, and our affliction. |
| [8]καίC ἐκἄγωVBI-AAI3S ἐγώRP-AP κύριοςN2-NSM ἐκP *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF αὐτόςRD-NSM ἐνP ἰσχύςN3U-DSF μέγαςA1-DSF καίC ἐνP χείρN3-DSF κραταιόςA1A-DSF καίC ἐνP βραχίωνN3N-DSM αὐτόςRD-GSM ὁRA-DSM ὑψηλόςA1-DSM καίC ἐνP ὅραμαN3M-DPN μέγαςA1-DPN καίC ἐνP σημεῖονN2N-DPN καίC ἐνP τέραςN3T-DPN |
[8]And the Lord brought us out of Egypt himself with his great strength, and his mighty hand, and his high arm, and with great visions, and with signs, and with wonders. |
| [9]καίC εἰςἄγωVBI-AAI3S ἐγώRP-AP εἰςP ὁRA-ASM τόποςN2-ASM οὗτοςRD-ASM καίC δίδωμιVAI-AAI3S ἐγώRP-DP ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF οὗτοςRD-ASF γῆN1-ASF ῥέωV2-PAPASF γάλαN3-ASN καίC μέλιN3T-ASN |
[9]And he brought us into this place, and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey. |
| [10]καίC νῦνD ἰδούI φέρωVX-XAI1S ὁRA-ASF ἀπαρχήN1-ASF ὁRA-GPN γένημαN3M-GPN ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF ὅςRR-GSF δίδωμιVAI-AAI2S ἐγώRP-DS κύριοςN2-VSM γῆN1-ASF ῥέωV2-PAPASF γάλαN3-ASN καίC μέλιN3T-ASN καίC ἀποἵημιVF-FAI2S αὐτόςRD-APN ἀπέναντιP κύριοςN2-GSM ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM σύRP-GS καίC προςκυνέωVF-FAI2S ἐκεῖD ἔναντιP κύριοςN2-GSM ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM σύRP-GS |
[10]And now, behold, I have brought the first of the fruits of the land, which thou gavest me, O Lord, a land flowing with milk and honey: and thou shalt leave it before the Lord thy God, and thou shalt worship before the Lord thy God; |
| [11]καίC εὐφραίνωVC-FPI2S ἐνP πᾶςA3-DPN ὁRA-DPN ἀγαθόςA1-DPN ὅςRR-DPN δίδωμιVAI-AAI3S σύRP-DS κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS καίC ὁRA-DSF οἰκίαN1A-DSF σύRP-GS σύRP-NS καίC ὁRA-NSM *λευίτηςN1M-NSM καίC ὁRA-NSM προσήλυτοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM ἐνP σύRP-DS |
[11]and thou shalt rejoice in all the good things, which the Lord thy God has given thee, thou and thy family, and the Levite, and the stranger that is within thee. |
| [12]ἐάνC δέX συντελέωVA-AAS2S ἀποδεκατόωVA-AAN πᾶςA3-ASN ὁRA-ASN ἐπιδέκατοςA1-ASN ὁRA-GPN γένημαN3M-GPN ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF σύRP-GS ἐνP ὁRA-DSN ἔτοςN3E-DSN ὁRA-DSN τρίτοςA1-DSN ὁRA-ASN δεύτεροςA1A-ASN ἐπιδέκατοςA1-ASN δίδωμιVF-FAI2S ὁRA-DSM *λευίτηςN1M-DSM καίC ὁRA-DSM προσήλυτοςN2-DSM καίC ὁRA-DSM ὀρφανόςA1-DSM καίC ὁRA-DSF χήραN1A-DSF καίC ἐσθίωVF-FMI3P ἐνP ὁRA-DPF πόλιςN3I-DPF σύRP-GS καίC ἐνπίμπλημιVS-FPI3P |
[12]And when thou shalt have completed all the tithings of thy fruits in the third year, thou shalt give the second tenth to the Levite, and stranger, and fatherless, and widow; and they shall eat it in thy cities, and be merry. |
| [13]καίC εἶπονVF2-FAI2S ἐναντίονP κύριοςN2-GSM ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM σύRP-GS ἐκ κατααἴρωVAI-AAI1S ὁRA-APN ἅγιοςA1A-APN ἐκP ὁRA-GSF οἰκίαN1A-GSF ἐγώRP-GS καίC δίδωμιVAI-AAI1S αὐτόςRD-APN ὁRA-DSM *λευίτηςN1M-DSM καίC ὁRA-DSM προσήλυτοςN2-DSM καίC ὁRA-DSM ὀρφανόςA1-DSM καίC ὁRA-DSF χήραN1A-DSF κατάP πᾶςA1S-APF ὁRA-APF ἐντολήN1A-APF ὅςRR-APF ἐντέλλομαιVAI-AMI2S ἐγώRP-DS οὐD παραἔρχομαιVBI-AAI1S ὁRA-ASF ἐντολήN1-ASF σύRP-GS καίC οὐD ἐπιλανθάνωVBI-AMI1S |
[13]And thou shalt say before the Lord thy God, I have fully collected the holy things out of my house, and I have given them to the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, according to all commands which thou didst command me: I did not transgress thy command, and I did not forget it. |
| [14]καίC οὐD ἐσθίωVBI-AAI1S ἐνP ὀδύνηN1-DSF ἐγώRP-GS ἀπόP αὐτόςRD-GPN οὐD καρπόωVAI-AAI1S ἀπόP αὐτόςRD-GPN εἰςP ἀκάθαρτοςA1B-ASN οὐD δίδωμιVAI-AAI1S ἀπόP αὐτόςRD-GPN ὁRA-DSM θνήσκωVX-XAPDSM ὑποἀκούωVAI-AAI1S ὁRA-GSF φωνήN1-GSF κύριοςN2-GSM ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM ἐγώRP-GS ποιέωVAI-AAI1S καθάD ἐντέλλομαιVAI-AMI2S ἐγώRP-DS |
[14]And in my distress I did not eat of them, I have not gathered of them for an unclean purpose, I have not given of them to the dead; I have hearkened to the voice of the Lord our God, I have done as thou hast commanded me. |
| [15]καταὁράωVB-AAD2S ἐκP ὁRA-GSM οἶκοςN2-GSM ὁRA-GSM ἅγιοςA1A-GSM σύRP-GS ἐκP ὁRA-GSM οὐρανόςN2-GSM καίC εὐλογέωVA-AAD2S ὁRA-ASM λαόςN2-ASM σύRP-GS ὁRA-ASM *ἰσραήλN--ASM καίC ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF ὅςRR-ASF δίδωμιVAI-AAI2S αὐτόςRD-DPM καθάD ὄμνυμιVAI-AAI2S ὁRA-DPM πατήρN3-DPM ἐγώRP-GP δίδωμιVO-AAN ἐγώRP-DP γῆN1-ASF ῥέωV2-PAPASF γάλαN3-ASN καίC μέλιN3T-ASN |
[15]Look down from thy holy house, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given them, as thou didst swear to our fathers, to give to us a land flowing with milk and honey. |
| [16]ἐνP ὁRA-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSF οὗτοςRD-DSF κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS ἐντέλλομαιVAI-AMI3S σύRP-DS ποιέωVA-AAN πᾶςA3-ASN ὁRA-APN δικαίωμαN3M-APN οὗτοςRD-APN καίC ὁRA-APN κρίμαN3M-APN καίC φυλάσσωVF-FMI2P καίC ποιέωVF-FAI2P αὐτόςRD-APN ἐκP ὅλοςA1-GSF ὁRA-GSF καρδίαN1A-GSF σύRP-GP καίC ἐκP ὅλοςA1-GSF ὁRA-GSF ψυχήN1-GSF σύRP-GP |
[16]On this day the Lord thy God charged thee to keep all the ordinances and judgments; and ye shall observe and do them, with all your heart, and with all your soul. |
| [17]ὁRA-ASM θεόςN2-ASM αἱρέωVBI-AMI2S σήμερονD εἰμίV9-PAN σύRP-GS θεόςN2-ASM καίC πορεύομαιV1-PMN ἐνP ὁRA-DPF ὁδόςN2-DPF αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC φυλάσσωV1-PMN ὁRA-APN δικαίωμαN3M-APN καίC ὁRA-APN κρίμαN3M-APN αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC ὑποἀκούωV1-PAN ὁRA-GSF φωνήN1-GSF αὐτόςRD-GSM |
[17]Thou hast chosen God this day to be thy God, and to walk in all his ways, and to observe his ordinances and judgments, and to hearken to his voice. |
| [18]καίC κύριοςN2-NSM αἱρέωVAI-AMI3S σύRP-AS σήμερονD γίγνομαιVB-AMN σύRP-AS αὐτόςRD-DSM λαόςN2-ASM περιούσιοςA1B-ASM καθάπερD εἶπονVBI-AAI3S σύRP-DS φυλάσσωV1-PAN πᾶςA1S-APF ὁRA-APF ἐντολήN1A-APF αὐτόςRD-GSM |
[18]And the Lord has chosen thee this day that thou shouldest be to him a peculiar people, as he said, to keep his commands; |
| [19]καίC εἰμίV9-PAN σύRP-AS ὑπεράνωD πᾶςA3-GPN ὁRA-GPN ἔθνοςN3E-GPN ὡςC ποιέωVAI-AAI3S σύRP-AS ὀνομαστόςA1-ASM καίC καύχημαN3M-ASN καίC δόξαστοςA1-ASM εἰμίV9-PAN σύRP-AS λαόςN2-ASM ἅγιοςA1A-ASM κύριοςN2-DSM ὁRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM σύRP-GS καθώςD λαλέωVAI-AAI3S |
[19]and that thou shouldest be above all nations, as he has made thee renowned, and a boast, and glorious, that thou shouldest be a holy people to the Lord thy God, as he has spoken. |
