[1]Now this is the commandment, the statutes, and the ordinances, which 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it— |
| [2]ἵναC φοβέωV2-PMS2P κύριοςN2-ASM ὁRA-ASM θεόςN2-ASM σύRP-GP φυλάσσωV1-PMN πᾶςA3-APN ὁRA-APN δικαίωμαN3M-APN αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC ὁRA-APF ἐντολήN1A-APF αὐτόςRD-GSM ὅσοςA1-APF ἐγώRP-NS ἐντέλλομαιV1-PMI1S σύRP-DS σήμερονD σύRP-NS καίC ὁRA-NPM υἱόςN2-NPM σύRP-GS καίC ὁRA-NPM υἱόςN2-NPM ὁRA-GPM υἱόςN2-GPM σύRP-GS πᾶςA1S-APF ὁRA-APF ἡμέραN1A-APF ὁRA-GSF ζωήN1-GSF σύRP-GS ἵναC μακροημερεύωVA-AAS2P |
[2]That thou mightest fear 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 thy God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged. |
| [3]καίC ἀκούωVA-AAD2S *ἰσραήλN--VSM καίC φυλάσσωVA-AMD2S ποιέωV2-PAN ὅπωςC εὖD σύRP-DS εἰμίV9-PAS3S καίC ἵναC πληθύνωVC-APS2P σφόδραD καθάπερD λαλέωVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὁRA-GPM πατήρN3-GPM σύRP-GS δίδωμιVO-AAN σύRP-DS γῆN1-ASF ῥέωV2-PAPASF γάλαN3-ASN καίC μέλιN3T-ASN |
[3]Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇, the God of thy fathers, hath promised unto thee—a land flowing with milk and honey. |
| [4]καίC οὗτοςRD-NPN ὁRA-NPN δικαίωμαN3M-NPN καίC ὁRA-NPN κρίμαN3M-NPN ὅσοςA1-APN ἐντέλλομαιVAI-AMI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-DPM υἱόςN2-DPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM ἐνP ὁRA-DSF ἔρημοςN2-DSF ἐκἔρχομαιVB-AAPGPM αὐτόςRD-GPM ἐκP γῆN1-GSF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF ἀκούωV1-PAD2S *ἰσραήλN--VSM κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ἐγώRP-GP κύριοςN2-NSM εἷςA3-NSM εἰμίV9-PAI3S |
[4]Hear, O Israel: 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 is our God, 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 is one. |
| [5]καίC ἀγαπάωVF-FAI2S κύριοςN2-ASM ὁRA-ASM θεόςN2-ASM σύRP-GS ἐκP ὅλοςA1-GSF ὁRA-GSF καρδίαN1A-GSF σύRP-GS καίC ἐκP ὅλοςA1-GSF ὁRA-GSF ψυχήN1-GSF σύRP-GS καίC ἐκP ὅλοςA1-GSF ὁRA-GSF δύναμιςN3I-GSF σύRP-GS |
[5]And thou shalt love 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. |
| [6]καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ὁRA-NPN ῥῆμαN3M-NPN οὗτοςRD-NPN ὅσοςA1-APN ἐγώRP-NS ἐντέλλομαιV1-PMI1S σύRP-DS σήμερονD ἐνP ὁRA-DSF καρδίαN1A-DSF σύRP-GS καίC ἐνP ὁRA-DSF ψυχήN1-DSF σύRP-GS |
[6]And these words, which command thee this day, shall be upon thy heart; |
| [7]καίC προβιβάζωVF-FAI2S αὐτόςRD-APN ὁRA-APM υἱόςN2-APM σύRP-GS καίC λαλέωVF-FAI2S ἐνP αὐτόςRD-DPN καταἧμαιV5-PMPNSM ἐνP οἶκοςN2-DSM καίC πορεύομαιV1-PMPNSM ἐνP ὁδόςN2-DSF καίC κοιτάζομαιV1-PMPNSM καίC δια ἀναἵστημιV6-PMPNSM |
[7]And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. |
| [8]καίC ἀποἅπτωVF-FAI2S αὐτόςRD-APN εἰςP σημεῖονN2N-ASN ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF χείρN3-GSF σύRP-GS καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ἀσάλευτοςA1B-ASM πρόP ὀφθαλμόςN2-GPM σύRP-GS |
[8]And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thy hand, and they shall be for frontlets between thine eyes. |
| [9]καίC γράφωVF-FAI2P αὐτόςRD-APN ἐπίP ὁRA-APF φλιάN1A-APF ὁRA-GPF οἰκίαN1A-GPF σύRP-GP καίC ὁRA-GPF πύληN1-GPF σύRP-GP |
[9]And thou shalt write them upon the door-posts of thy house, and upon thy gates. |
| [10]καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ὅτανD εἰςἄγωVB-AAS3S σύRP-AS κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS εἰςP ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF ὅςRR-ASF ὄμνυμιVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-DPM πατήρN3-DPM σύRP-GS ὁRA-DSM *ἀβραάμN--DSM καίC *ισαακN--DSM καίC *ἰακώβN--DSM δίδωμιVO-AAN σύRP-DS πόλιςN3I-APF μέγαςA1-APF καίC καλόςA1-APF ὅςRR-APF οὐD οἰκοδομέωVAI-AAI2S |
[10]And it shall be, when 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 thy God shall bring thee into the land which He swore unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee—great and goodly cities, which thou didst not build, |
| [11]οἰκίαN1A-APF πλήρηςA3H-APF πᾶςA3-GPN ἀγαθόςA1-GPN ὅςRR-APF οὐD ἐνπίμπλημιVAI-AAI2S λάκκοςN2-APM λατομέωVM-XMPAPM ὅςRR-APM οὐD ἐκλατομέωVAI-AAI2S ἀμπελώνN3W-APM καίC ἐλαιώνN3W-APM ὅςRR-APM οὐD καταφυτεύωVAI-AAI2S καίC ἐσθίωVB-AAPNSM καίC ἐνπίμπλημιVS-APPNSM |
[11]And houses full of all good things, which thou didst not fill, and cisterns hewn out, which thou the didst not hew, vineyards and olive-trees, which thou didst not plant, and thou shalt eat and be satisfied— |
| [12]προςἔχωV1-PAD2S σεαυτοῦRD-DSM μήD ἐπιλανθάνωVB-AMS2S κύριοςN2-GSM ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM σύRP-GS ὁRA-GSM ἐκἄγωVB-AAPGSM σύRP-AS ἐκP γῆN1-GSF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF ἐκP οἶκοςN2-GSM δουλείαN1A-GSF |
[12]Then beware lest thou forget 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇, who brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. |
| [13]κύριοςN2-ASM ὁRA-ASM θεόςN2-ASM σύRP-GS φοβέωVC-FPI2S καίC αὐτόςRD-DSM λατρεύωVF-FAI2S καίC πρόςP αὐτόςRD-ASM κολλάωVC-FPI2S καίC ὁRA-DSN ὄνομαN3M-DSN αὐτόςRD-GSM ὄμνυμιVF2-FMI2S |
[13]Thou shalt fear 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 thy God; and Him shalt thou serve, and by His name shalt thou swear. |
| [14]οὐD πορεύομαιVF-FMI2P ὀπίσωP θεόςN2-GPM ἕτεροςA1A-GPM ἀπόP ὁRA-GPM θεόςN2-GPM ὁRA-GPN ἔθνοςN3E-GPN ὁRA-GPN περικύκλῳD σύRP-GP |
[14]Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the peoples that are round about you; |
| [15]ὅτιC θεόςN2-NSM ζηλωτήςN1M-NSM κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS ἐνP σύRP-DS μήD ὀργίζωVS-APPNSM θυμόωVC-APS3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS ἐνP σύRP-DS καίC ἐκὀλεθρεύωVA-AAS3S σύRP-AS ἀπόP πρόσωπονN2N-GSN ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF |
[15]For a jealous God, even 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 thy God, is in the midst of thee; lest the anger of 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 thy God be kindled against thee, and He destroy thee from off the face of the earth. |
| [16]οὐD ἐκπειράζωVF-FAI2S κύριοςN2-ASM ὁRA-ASM θεόςN2-ASM σύRP-GS ὅςRR-ASM τρόποςN2-ASM ἐκπειράζωVAI-AMI2P ἐνP ὁRA-DSM *πειρασμόςN2-DSM |
[16]Ye shall not try 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 your God, as ye tried Him in Massah. |
| [17]φυλάσσωV1-PAPNSM φυλάσσωVF-FMI2S ὁRA-APF ἐντολήN1A-APF κύριοςN2-GSM ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM σύRP-GS ὁRA-APN μαρτύριονN2N-APN καίC ὁRA-APN δικαίωμαN3M-APN ὅσοςA1-APN ἐντέλλομαιVAI-AMI3S σύRP-DS |
[17]Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 your God, and His testimonies, and His statutes, which He hath commanded thee. |
| [18]καίC ποιέωVF-FAI2S ὁRA-ASN ἀρεστόςA1-ASN καίC ὁRA-ASN καλόςA1-ASN ἐναντίονP κύριοςN2-GSM ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM σύRP-GP ἵναC εὖD σύRP-DS γίγνομαιVB-AMS3S καίC εἰςἔρχομαιVB-AAS2S καίC κληρονομέωVA-AAS2S ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF ὁRA-ASF ἀγαθόςA1-ASF ὅςRR-ASF ὄμνυμιVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-DPM πατήρN3-DPM σύRP-GP |
[18]And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇; that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 swore unto thy fathers, |
| [19]ἐκδιώκωVA-AAN πᾶςA3-APM ὁRA-APM ἐχθρόςN2-APM σύRP-GS πρόP πρόσωπονN2N-GSN σύRP-GS καθάD λαλέωVAI-AAI3S |
[19]To thrust out all thine enemies from before thee, as 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 hath spoken. |
| [20]καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ὅτανD ἐρωτάωVA-AAS3S σύRP-AS ὁRA-NSM υἱόςN2-NSM σύRP-GS αὔριονD λέγωV1-PAPNSM τίςRI-NSN εἰμίV9-PAI3S ὁRA-NPN μαρτύριονN2N-NPN καίC ὁRA-NPN δικαίωμαN3M-NPN καίC ὁRA-NPN κρίμαN3M-NPN ὅσοςA1-APN ἐντέλλομαιVAI-AMI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ἐγώRP-GP ἐγώRP-DP |
[20]When thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying: 'What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 our God hath commanded you? |
| [21]καίC εἶπονVF2-FAI2S ὁRA-DSM υἱόςN2-DSM σύRP-GS οἰκέτηςN1M-NPM εἰμίV9-IAI1P ὁRA-DSM *φαραώN--DSM ἐνP γῆN1-DSF *αἴγυπτοςN2-DSF καίC ἐκἄγωVBI-AAI3S ἐγώRP-AP κύριοςN2-NSM ἐκεῖθενD ἐνP χείρN3-DSF κραταιόςA1A-DSF καίC ἐνP βραχίωνN3N-DSM ὑψηλόςA1-DSM |
[21]Then thou shalt say unto thy son: 'We were Pharaoh's bondmen in Egypt; and 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand. |
| [22]καίC δίδωμιVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM σημεῖονN2N-APN καίC τέραςN3T-APN μέγαςA3L-APN καίC πονηρόςA1A-APN ἐνP *αἴγυπτοςN2-DSF ἐνP *φαραώN--DSM καίC ἐνP ὁRA-DSM οἶκοςN2-DSM αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐνώπιονP ἐγώRP-GP |
[22]And 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 showed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his house, before our eyes. |
| [23]καίC ἐγώRP-AP ἐκἄγωVBI-AAI3S ἐκεῖθενD ἵναC εἰςἄγωVB-AAS3S ἐγώRP-AP δίδωμιVO-AAN ἐγώRP-DP ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF οὗτοςRD-ASF ὅςRR-ASF ὄμνυμιVAI-AAI3S δίδωμιVO-AAN ὁRA-DPM πατήρN3-DPM ἐγώRP-GP |
[23]And He brought us out from thence, that He might bring us in, to give us the land which He swore unto our fathers. |
| [24]καίC ἐντέλλομαιVAI-AMI3S ἐγώRP-DP κύριοςN2-NSM ποιέωV2-PAN πᾶςA3-APN ὁRA-APN δικαίωμαN3M-APN οὗτοςRD-APN φοβέωV2-PMN κύριοςN2-ASM ὁRA-ASM θεόςN2-ASM ἐγώRP-GP ἵναC εὖD εἰμίV9-PAS3S ἐγώRP-DP πᾶςA1S-APF ὁRA-APF ἡμέραN1A-APF ἵναC ζάωV3-PAS1P ὥσπερD καίD σήμερονD |
[24]And 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is at this day. |
| [25]καίC ἐλεημοσύνηN1-NSF εἰμίVF-FMI3S ἐγώRP-DP ἐάνC φυλάσσωV1-PMS1P ποιέωV2-PAN πᾶςA1S-APF ὁRA-APF ἐντολήN1A-APF οὗτοςRD-APF ἐναντίονP κύριοςN2-GSM ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM ἐγώRP-GP καθάD ἐντέλλομαιVAI-AMI3S ἐγώRP-DP κύριοςN2-NSM |
[25]And it shall be righteousness unto us, if we observe to do all this commandment before 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 our God, as He hath commanded us.' |
