[1]All the commandment which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, a multiply, and go in and possess the land which ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ swore unto your fathers. [1]Ye shall keep all the commandments which I command thee this day, for to do them: that ye may live, and be multiplied, and go in, and possess the land which the Lord swear unto your fathers.
[2]And thou shal remember all the way which ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ thy God hath led thee these forty years in the wilderness, that He might afflict thee, to prove thee, to know what was in thy heart, whether thou wouldest keep commandments, or no. [2]And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee this forty year in the wilderness, for to humble thee and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments or no.
[3]And He afflicted thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that He might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every thing that proceedeth out of the mouth of ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ doth man live. [3]Therefore he humbled thee, and made thee hungry, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know it, that he might teach thee that man liveth not by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord, doth a man live.
[4]Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years. [4]Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell those forty years.
[5]And thou shalt consider in thy heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ thy God chasteneth thee. [5]Know therefore in thine heart, that as a man nurtureth his son, so the Lord thy God nurtureth thee.
[6]And thou shalt keep the commandments of ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ thy God, to walk in His ways, and to fear Him. [6]Therefore shalt thou keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, that thou mayest walk in his ways, and fear him.
[7]For ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths, springing forth in valleys and hills; [7]For the Lord thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land in the which are rivers of water and fountains, and depths that spring out of valleys and mountains:
[8]A land of wheat and barley, and vines and fig-tre pomegranates; a land of olive-trees and honey; [8]A land of wheat and barley, and of vineyards, and fig trees, and pomegranates: a land of oil olive and honey:
[9]A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass. [9]A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarcity, neither shalt thou lack anything therein: a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose mountains thou shalt dig brass.
[10]And thou shalt eat and be satisfied, and bless ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ thy God for the good land which He hath given thee. [10]And when thou hast eaten and filled thyself, thou shalt bless the Lord thy God for the good land, which he hath given thee.
[11]Beware lest thou forget ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ thy God, in not keeping His commandments, and His ordinances, and His statutes, which I command thee this day; [11]Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God, not keeping his commandments, and his laws, and his ordinances, which I command thee this day:
[12]Lest when thou hast eaten and art satisfied, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein; [12]Lest when thou hast eaten and filled thyself, and hast built goodly houses and dwelt therein,
[13]And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied; [13]And thy beasts, and thy sheep are increased, and thy sliver and gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is increased,
[14]Then thy heart be lifted up, and thou forget ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ thy God, who brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; [14]Then thine heart be lifted up and thou forget the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage,
[15]Who led thee through the great and dreadful wilderness, wherein were serpents, fiery serpents, and scorpions, and thirsty ground where was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint; [15]Who was thy guide in the great and terrible wilderness ( wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where was no water, who brought forth water for thee out of the rock of flint:
[16]Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that He might afflict thee, and that He might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end; [16]Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not) to humble thee, and to prove thee, that he might do thee good at thy latter end.
[17]And thou say in thy heart: 'My power and the might of my hand hath gotten me this wealth.' [17]Beware lest thou say in thine heart, My power, and the strength of mine own hand hath prepared me this abundance.
[18]But thou shalt remember ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ thy God, for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore unto thy fathers, as it is this day. [18]But remember the Lord thy God: for it is he which giveth thee power to get substance to establish his covenant which he swear unto thy fathers, as appeareth this day.
[19]And it shall be, if thou shalt forget ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I forewarn you this day that ye shall surely perish. [19]And if thou forget the Lord thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify unto you this day that ye shall surely perish.
[20]As the nations that ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ maketh to perish before you, so shall ye perish; because ye would not hearken unto the voice of ‏𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇‎ your God. [20]As the nations which the Lord destroyeth before you, so ye shall perish, because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the Lord your God.
