[1]PAUL, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to those who are in Eph'e-sus, saints and believers in Jesus Christ: [No book]
[2]Peace be with you and grace from God our Father, and from our LORD Jesus Christ: [No book]
[3]Blessed be the God, and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heaven through Christ: [No book]
[4]Just as from the beginning he has chosen us through him, before the foundation of the world, that we may become holy and without blemish before him. [No book]
[5]And he marked us with his love to be his from the beginning, and adopted us to be sons through Jesus Christ, as it pleased his will. [No book]
[6]To the praise of the glory of his grace that he has poured upon us by his beloved one. [No book]
[7]In him we have salvation, and in his blood, forgiveness of sins, according to the richness of his grace; [No book]
[8]That that grace which has abounded in us, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; [No book]
[9]And because he has made known to us the mystery of his will, as he has ordained from the very beginning, to work through it; [No book]
[10]As a dispensation of the fulness of times, that all things might be made new in heaven and on earth through Christ: [No book]
[11]By whom we have been chosen, as he had marked us from the beginning so he wanted to carry out everything according to the good judgment of his will: [No book]
[12]That we should become the first to trust in Christ, to his honor and his glory: [No book]
[13]In whom, you also have heard the word of truth, which is the gospel for your salvation: in him you have believed, so you are sealed with the Holy Spirit that was promised, [No book]
[14]Which is the pledge of our inheritance, for the salvation of those who are saved, and for the glory of his honour. [No book]
[15]Wherefore I also, since I heard of your faith in our LORD Jesus Christ, and your love toward all the saints, [No book]
[16]Never cease to give thanks for your sakes and to mention you in my prayers; [No book]
[17]So that the God of our LORD Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: [No book]
[18]And so that the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the glorious riches of his inheritance in the saints; [No book]
[19]And what is the exceeding greatness of his power in us as the result of the things we believe, according to the skill of his mighty power, [No book]
[20]Which he wrought through Christ, when he raised him from the dead and set him at his own right hand in heaven, [No book]
[21]Far above all angels and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world but also in the world which is to come: [No book]
[22]And has put all things under his feet, and made him, who is above all things, the head of the church, [No book]
[23]Which is his body, and confirmation of him who fulfills all things and every thing. [No book]
