TR GNT
[1]And you that were dead in trespasses and sinnes [1]και υμας οντας νεκρους τοις παραπτωμασιν και ταις αμαρτιαις
[2]In the which in time passed ye walked, according to the course of this worlde, after the gouernour that ruleth in the ayre, the spirite that nowe worketh in the chyldren of disobedience [2]εν αις ποτε περιεπατησατε κατα τον αιωνα του κοσμου τουτου κατα τον αρχοντα της εξουσιας του αερος του πνευματος του νυν ενεργουντος εν τοις υιοις της απειθειας
[3]Among whom we all had our conuersation also in tyme past in the lustes of our flesshe, fulfyllyng the wyll of the flesshe, and of the mynde, & were by nature the chyldren of wrath, euen as other [3]εν οις και ημεις παντες ανεστραφημεν ποτε εν ταις επιθυμιαις της σαρκος ημων ποιουντες τα θεληματα της σαρκος και των διανοιων και ημεν τεκνα φυσει οργης ως και οι λοιποι
[4]But God which is ryche in mercie, for his great loue wherwith he loued vs [4]ο δε θεος πλουσιος ων εν ελεει δια την πολλην αγαπην αυτου ην ηγαπησεν ημας
[5]Euen when we were dead by sinnes, hath quickned vs together with Christ, by grace are ye saued [5]και οντας ημας νεκρους τοις παραπτωμασιν συνεζωοποιησεν τω χριστω χαριτι εστε σεσωσμενοι
[6]And hath raysed [vs] vp together, and made [vs] syt together in the heauenly in Christe Iesus [6]και συνηγειρεν και συνεκαθισεν εν τοις επουρανιοις εν χριστω ιησου
[7]That in ages to come, he might shew the exceedyng ryches of his grace, in kyndnesse to vswarde through Christe Iesus [7]ινα ενδειξηται εν τοις αιωσιν τοις επερχομενοις τον υπερβαλλοντα πλουτον της χαριτος αυτου εν χρηστοτητι εφ ημας εν χριστω ιησου
[8]For by grace are ye made safe through fayth, and that not of your selues, it is the gyft of God [8]τη γαρ χαριτι εστε σεσωσμενοι δια της πιστεως και τουτο ουκ εξ υμων θεου το δωρον
[9]Not of workes, lest any man shoulde boast hym selfe [9]ουκ εξ εργων ινα μη τις καυχησηται
[10]For we are his workmanship, created in Christe Iesus vnto good workes, whiche God hath ordeyned that we shoulde walke in them [10]αυτου γαρ εσμεν ποιημα κτισθεντες εν χριστω ιησου επι εργοις αγαθοις οις προητοιμασεν ο θεος ινα εν αυτοις περιπατησωμεν
[11]Wherfore, remember that ye being in tyme passed gentiles in the flesshe, called vncircumcision of that which is called circumcision in the flesshe, made by handes [11]διο μνημονευετε οτι υμεις ποτε τα εθνη εν σαρκι οι λεγομενοι ακροβυστια υπο της λεγομενης περιτομης εν σαρκι χειροποιητου
[12]That at that tyme ye were without Christe, beyng aliauntes from the common wealth of Israel, and straungers fro the testamentes of promise, hauyng no hope, & without God in this worlde [12]οτι ητε εν τω καιρω εκεινω χωρις χριστου απηλλοτριωμενοι της πολιτειας του ισραηλ και ξενοι των διαθηκων της επαγγελιας ελπιδα μη εχοντες και αθεοι εν τω κοσμω
[13]But nowe in Christe Iesus, ye which sometyme were farre of, are made nye by the blood of Christe [13]νυνι δε εν χριστω ιησου υμεις οι ποτε οντες μακραν εγγυς εγενηθητε εν τω αιματι του χριστου
[14]For he is our peace, which hath made both one: and hath broken downe the wall that was a stoppe betwene vs [14]αυτος γαρ εστιν η ειρηνη ημων ο ποιησας τα αμφοτερα εν και το μεσοτοιχον του φραγμου λυσας
[15]Taking away in his flesshe the hatred, [euen] the lawe of commaundementes, [conteyned] in ordinaunces, for to make of twayne one newe man in hym selfe, so makyng peace [15]την εχθραν εν τη σαρκι αυτου τον νομον των εντολων εν δογμασιν καταργησας ινα τους δυο κτιση εν εαυτω εις ενα καινον ανθρωπον ποιων ειρηνην
[16]And that he myght reconcile both vnto God in one body through [his] crosse, and slewe hatred thereby [16]και αποκαταλλαξη τους αμφοτερους εν ενι σωματι τω θεω δια του σταυρου αποκτεινας την εχθραν εν αυτω
[17]And came and preached peace to you which were a farre of, and to them that were nye [17]και ελθων ευηγγελισατο ειρηνην υμιν τοις μακραν και τοις εγγυς
[18]For through hym, we both haue an entraunce in one spirite vnto the father [18]οτι δι αυτου εχομεν την προσαγωγην οι αμφοτεροι εν ενι πνευματι προς τον πατερα
[19]Nowe therefore, ye are no more straungers and foreyners: but citezins with the saintes, and of the housholde of God [19]αρα ουν ουκετι εστε ξενοι και παροικοι αλλα συμπολιται των αγιων και οικειοι του θεου
[20]And are built vpon the foundation of the apostles and prophetes, Iesus Christe hym selfe beyng the head corner stone [20]εποικοδομηθεντες επι τω θεμελιω των αποστολων και προφητων οντος ακρογωνιαιου αυτου ιησου χριστου
[21]In whom all the buyldyng coupled together, groweth vnto an holy temple in the Lorde [21]εν ω πασα η οικοδομη συναρμολογουμενη αυξει εις ναον αγιον εν κυριω
[22]In whom ye also are buylded together for an habitation of God through the spirite [22]εν ω και υμεις συνοικοδομεισθε εις κατοικητηριον του θεου εν πνευματι
