Ephesians
Eph
6

[1]Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. [1]Children, obey your parents in our Lord, for this is right;
[2]Honor thy father and mother (which is the first commandment with promise) [2]And this is the first commandment which promiseth. Honour thy father and thy mother,
[3]That it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest live long on earth. [3]That it may be well with thee, and thy life be prolonged upon the earth.
[4]And ye, fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in instruction and information of the Lord. [4]Parents, make not your children angry, but make them to grow in the discipline and in the doctrine of our Lord.
[5]Servants, be obedient unto them that are your masters, according to the flesh, with fear and trembling in singleness of your hearts as unto Christ, [5]Servants, be subject to your masters who are according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, and with simplicity of heart, as unto the Meshiha:
[6]Not with service to the eye, as men pleasers, but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, [6]Not in the sight of the eyes, as if you were pleasing men [only], but as the servants of Meshiha who do the will of Aloha.
[7]With good will serving the Lord, and not men. [7]And serve them from all your soul, in love, as unto our Lord, and not as unto men;
[8]And know ye that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, that same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. [8]Knowing that whatever good a man doeth he is rewarded by our Lord, whether he be a servant or a son of freedom.
[9]And ye masters, do the same things unto them, putting away threatening: and know that even your master also is in heaven, neither is there respect of person with him. [9]So you, masters, do likewise to your servants; forgiving them a fault; or you know also that your Master is in heaven, and there is no respect of persons with him.
[10]Â Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. [10]HENCEFORTH, my brethren, be strong in our Lord, and in the power of his strength.
[11]Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the assaults of the devil. [11]And clothe you in all the armour of Aloha, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the accuser.
[12]For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, and against the worldly governors, the princes of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickednesses, which are in the high places. [12]For your wrestling is not with flesh and blood [only], but with princes, and with powers, and with the possessors of this dark world, and with the evil spirits who are under heaven.
[13]For this cause take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to resist in the evil day, and having finished all things, stand fast. [13]Wherefore clothe you with all the armour of Aloha, that you may be able to meet the evil one, and being prepared in every thing you may stand.
[14]Stand therefore, and your loins gird about with verity, and having on the breastplate of righteousness, [14]Stand, therefore, with your loins strengthened with the truth, and wear the breastplate of righteousness,
[15]And your feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace. [15]And let your feet be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
[16]Above all, take the shield of faith, wherewith ye may quench all the fiery darts of the wicked, [16]And with these take to you the shield of faith, that therewith you may be empowered with strength to extinguish all the burning shafts of that evil one;
[17]And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. [17]And put on the helmet of salvation, and take the sword of the Spirit which is the word of Aloha.
[18]And pray always with all manner prayer and supplication in the Spirit: and watch thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all Saints, [18]And with all prayers, and with all supplications, pray at all times in the Spirit, and in that prayer be watchful in all seasons, praying constantly and invoking on behalf of all the saints;
[19]And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly to publish the secret of the Gospel, [19]And for me also, that the word may be given me with openness of my mouth, that I may boldly proclaim the mystery of the gospel,
[20]Whereof I am the ambassador in bonds, that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. [20]For which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may speak with freedom, as it behoveth me to speak it.
[21]Â But that ye may also know mine affairs, and what I do, Tychicus my dear brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall show you of all things, [21]But that you may know also what relateth to me, and what I am doing, behold, Tykikos, a brother beloved, and a faithful minister of our Lord, will make known to you;
[22]Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know mine affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts. [22]Whom I have sent to you on account of this, that he may make you acquainted with what relateth to me, and may comfort your hearts.
[23]Peace be with the brethren, and love with faith from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. [23]Peace be with the brethren, and love with faith from Aloha our Father, and from our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.
[24]Grace be with all them which love our Lord Jesus Christ, to their immortality, Amen. Written from Rome unto the Ephesians, and sent by Tychicus. [24]Grace be with all them who love our Lord Jeshu Meshiha incorruptibly. Amen. Finished is the Epistle to the Ephesoyee, which was written from Ruma, and sent by the hand of Tykikos
