[1]AND the LORD said to Moses, Go in to Pharaoh; for I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his servants, that I may perform these signs among them, |
| [2]ὅπωςC διαἡγέομαιVA-AMS2P εἰςP ὁRA-APN οὖςN3T-APN ὁRA-GPN τέκνονN2N-GPN σύRP-GP καίC ὁRA-DPN τέκνονN2N-DPN ὁRA-GPN τέκνονN2N-GPN σύRP-GP ὅσοςA1-APN ἐνπαίζωVM-XAI1S ὁRA-DPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-DPM καίC ὁRA-APN σημεῖονN2N-APN ἐγώRP-GS ὅςRR-APN ποιέωVAI-AAI1S ἐνP αὐτόςRD-DPM καίC γιγνώσκωVF-FMI2P ὅτιC ἐγώRP-NS κύριοςN2-NSM |
[2]That you may relate in the presence of your son and of your son's son the things which I have done to the Egyptians and the signs which I have performed among them, that you may know that I am the LORD. |
| [3]εἰςἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S δέX *μωυσῆςN1M-NSM καίC *ααρωνN--NSM ἐναντίονP *φαραώN--GSM καίC εἶπονVAI-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-DSM ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὁRA-GPM *εβραῖοςN2-GPM ἕωςP τίςRI-GSN οὐD βούλομαιV1-PMI2S ἐντρέπωVD-APN ἐγώRP-AS ἐκ ἀποστέλλωVA-AAD2S ὁRA-ASM λαόςN2-ASM ἐγώRP-GS ἵναC λατρεύωVA-AAS3P ἐγώRP-DS |
[3]And Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh, and said to him, Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long will you refuse to fear me? Let my people go that they may serve me. |
| [4]ἐάνC δέX μήD θέλωV1-PAS2S σύRP-NS ἐκ ἀποστέλλωVA-AAN ὁRA-ASM λαόςN2-ASM ἐγώRP-GS ἰδούI ἐγώRP-NS ἐπιἄγωV1-PAI1S οὗτοςRD-ASF ὁRA-ASF ὥραN1A-ASF αὔριονD ἀκρίςN3D-ASF πολύςA1-ASF ἐπίP πᾶςA3-APN ὁRA-APN ὅριονN2N-APN σύRP-GS |
[4]Else, if you refuse to let my people go, behold, tomorrow I will bring locusts upon all Four domain; |
| [5]καίC καλύπτωVF-FAI3S ὁRA-ASF ὄψιςN3I-ASF ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF καίC οὐD δύναμαιVF-FMI2S καταὁράωVB-AAN ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF καίC καταἐσθίωVF-FMI3S πᾶςA3-ASN ὁRA-ASN περισσόςA1-ASN ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF ὁRA-ASN καταλείπωVV-APPASN ὅςRR-NSN καταλείπωVBI-AAI3S σύRP-DP ὁRA-NSF χάλαζαN1A-NSF καίC καταἐσθίωVF-FMI3S πᾶςA3-ASN ξύλονN2N-ASN ὁRA-ASN φύωV1-PMPASN σύRP-DP ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF |
[5]And they shall cover the face of the land so that men cannot see the ground; and they shall eat the residue of that which is left to you from the hail and shall eat all the trees which have budded for you in the field; |
| [6]καίC πίμπλημιVS-FPI3P σύRP-GS ὁRA-NPF οἰκίαN1A-NPF καίC ὁRA-NPF οἰκίαN1A-NPF ὁRA-GPM θεράπωνN3-GPM σύRP-GS καίC πᾶςA1S-NPF ὁRA-NPF οἰκίαN1A-NPF ἐνP πᾶςA1S-DSF γῆN1-DSF ὁRA-GPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-GPM ὅςRR-APN οὐδέποτεD ὁράωVX-XAI3P ὁRA-NPM πατήρN3-NPM σύRP-GS οὐδέC ὁRA-NPM πρόπαπποςN2-NPM αὐτόςRD-GPM ἀπόP ὅςRR-GSF ἡμέραN1A-GSF γίγνομαιVX-XAI3P ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF ἕωςP ὁRA-GSF ἡμέραN1A-GSF οὗτοςRD-GSF καίC ἐκκλίνωVA-AAPNSM *μωυσῆςN1M-NSM ἐκἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S ἀπόP *φαραώN--GSM |
[6]And they shall fill your houses and the houses of your servants and the houses of all the Egyptians such as neither your fathers nor your grand fathers have seen, from the day that they were upon the earth even to this day. And they turned, and went out from the presence of Pharaoh. |
| [7]καίC λέγωV1-PAI3P ὁRA-NPM θεράπωνN3-NPM *φαραώN--GSM πρόςP αὐτόςRD-ASM ἕωςP τίςRI-GSN εἰμίVF-FMI3S οὗτοςRD-NSN ἐγώRP-DP σκῶλονN2N-NSN ἐκ ἀποστέλλωVA-AAD2S ὁRA-APM ἄνθρωποςN2-APM ὅπωςC λατρεύωVA-AAS3P ὁRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM αὐτόςRD-GPM ἤC οἶδαVX-XAN βούλομαιV1-PMI2S ὅτιC ἀποὀλλύωVX-XAI3S *αἴγυπτοςN2-NSF |
[7]And Pharaoh's servants said to him, How long shall we suffer this disaster? Let the men go that they may serve the LORD their God; do you not yet know that Egypt is destroyed? |
| [8]καίC ἀποστρέφωVAI-AAI3P ὁRA-ASM τεX *μωυσῆςN1M-ASM καίC *ααρωνN--ASM πρόςP *φαραώN--ASM καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DPM πορεύομαιV1-PMD2P καίC λατρεύωVA-AAD2P ὁRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM σύRP-GP τίςRI-NPM δέX καίC τίςRI-NPM εἰμίV9-PAI3P ὁRA-NPM πορεύομαιV1-PMPNPM |
[8]So Moses and Aaron were brought again to Pharaoh; and he said to them, Go, serve before the LORD your God; but who are they that are going? |
| [9]καίC λέγωV1-PAI3S *μωυσῆςN1M-NSM σύνP ὁRA-DPM νεανίσκοςN2-DPM καίC πρεσβύτεροςA1A-DPM πορεύομαιVF-FMI1P σύνP ὁRA-DPM υἱόςN2-DPM καίC θυγάτηρN3-DPF καίC πρόβατονN2N-DPN καίC βοῦςN3-DPM ἐγώRP-GP εἰμίV9-PAI3S γάρX ἑορτήN1-NSF κύριοςN2-GSM ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM ἐγώRP-GP |
[9]And Moses said to him, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters; with our flocks and with our herds will we go, for it is a festival of the LORD for all of us. |
| [10]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S πρόςP αὐτόςRD-APM εἰμίV9-PAD3S οὕτωςD κύριοςN2-NSM μετάP σύRP-GP καθότιD ἀποστέλλωV1-PAI1S σύRP-AP μήD καίC ὁRA-ASF ἀποσκευήN1-ASF σύRP-GP ὁράωVB-AAD2P ὅτιC πονηρίαN1A-NSF προκεῖμαιV5-PMI3S σύRP-DP |
[10]And Pharaoh said to them, Let the LORD be with you, but when I let you and your little ones go, look to it; perhaps you have evil intent. |
| [11]μήD οὕτωςD πορεύομαιV1-PMD3P δέX ὁRA-NPM ἀνήρN3-NPM καίC λατρεύωVA-AAD2P ὁRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM οὗτοςRD-ASN γάρX αὐτόςRD-NPM ζητέωV2-PAI2P ἐκβάλλωVBI-AAI3P δέX αὐτόςRD-APM ἀπόP πρόσωπονN2N-GSN *φαραώN--GSM |
[11]Let it not be so; go now, the older men, and serve before the LORD; for it is the rest that you desire. And they were driven out from Pharaoh's presence |
| [12]εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX κύριοςN2-NSM πρόςP *μωυσῆςN1M-ASM ἐκτείνωVA-AAD2S ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF ἐπίP γῆN1-ASF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF καίC ἀναβαίνωVZ-AAD3S ἀκρίςN3D-NSF ἐπίP ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF καίC καταἐσθίωVF-FMI3S πᾶςA1S-ASF βοτάνηN1-ASF ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF καίC πᾶςA3-ASM ὁRA-ASM καρπόςN2-ASM ὁRA-GPN ξύλονN2N-GPN ὅςRR-ASM ὑπολείπωVBI-AMI3S ὁRA-NSF χάλαζαN1A-NSF |
[12]And the LORD said to Moses, Lift up your hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt and eat the herbs of the land, even all that the hail has left. |
| [13]καίC ἐπιαἴρωVAI-AAI3S *μωυσῆςN1M-NSM ὁRA-ASF ῥάβδοςN2-ASF εἰςP ὁRA-ASM οὐρανόςN2-ASM καίC κύριοςN2-NSM ἐπιἄγωVBI-AAI3S ἄνεμοςN2-ASM νότοςN2-ASM ἐπίP ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF ὅλοςA1-ASF ὁRA-ASF ἡμέραN1A-ASF ἐκεῖνοςRD-ASF καίC ὅλοςA1-ASF ὁRA-ASF νύξN3-ASF ὁRA-NSN πρωΐD γίγνομαιVCI-API3S καίC ὁRA-NSM ἄνεμοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM νότοςN2-NSM ἀναλαμβάνωVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-ASF ἀκρίςN3D-ASF |
[13]And Moses lifted up his staff over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts. |
| [14]καίC ἀναἄγωVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASF ἐπίP πᾶςA1S-ASF γῆN1-ASF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF καίC καταπαύωVAI-AAI3S ἐπίP πᾶςA3-APN ὁRA-APN ὅριονN2N-APN *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF πολύςA1-NSF σφόδραD πρότεροςA1A-APN αὐτόςRD-GSF οὐD γίγνομαιVX-XAI3S τοιοῦτοςA1-NSF ἀκρίςN3D-NSF καίC μετάP οὗτοςRD-APN οὐD εἰμίVF-FMI3S οὕτωςD |
[14]And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt and rested in all the domain of the Egyptians; it was a great swarm; before them there were no such swarms of locusts as they, neither after them shall be such. |
| [15]καίC καλύπτωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-ASF ὄψιςN3I-ASF ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF καίC φθείρωVDI-API3S ὁRA-NSF γῆN1-NSF καίC καταἐσθίωVBI-AAI3S πᾶςA1S-ASF βοτάνηN1-ASF ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF καίC πᾶςA3-ASM ὁRA-ASM καρπόςN2-ASM ὁRA-GPN ξύλονN2N-GPN ὅςRR-NSM ὑπολείπωVVI-API3S ἀπόP ὁRA-GSF χάλαζαN1A-GSF οὐD ὑπολείπωVVI-API3S χλωρόςA1A-ASN οὐδείςA3-ASN ἐνP ὁRA-DPN ξύλονN2N-DPN καίC ἐνP πᾶςA1S-DSF βοτάνηN1-DSF ὁRA-GSN πεδίονN2N-GSN ἐνP πᾶςA1S-DSF γῆN1-DSF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF |
[15]For they covered the face of the whole earth so that the land was darkened; and they did eat all the herbs of the land and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left; and there remained no leaf on the trees neither grass in the field, through al the land of Egypt. |
| [16]κατασπεύδωV1I-IAI3S δέX *φαραώN--NSM καλέωVA-AAN *μωυσῆςN1M-ASM καίC *ααρωνN--ASM λέγωV1-PAPNSM ἁμαρτάνωVX-XAI1S ἐναντίονP κύριοςN2-GSM ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM σύRP-GP καίC εἰςP σύRP-AP |
[16]Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said to them, I have sinned against the LORD your God and against you. |
| [17]προςδέχομαιVA-AMD2P οὖνX ἐγώRP-GS ὁRA-ASF ἁμαρτίαN1A-ASF ἔτιD νῦνD καίC προςεὔχομαιVAI-AMI2P πρόςP κύριοςN2-ASM ὁRA-ASM θεόςN2-ASM σύRP-GP καίC περιαἱρέωVB-AAD3S ἀπόP ἐγώRP-GS ὁRA-ASM θάνατοςN2-ASM οὗτοςRD-ASM |
[17]Now therefore, forgive me my fault this time also, and pray before the LORD your God that he may re move from me this death. |
| [18]ἐκἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S δέX *μωυσῆςN1M-NSM ἀπόP *φαραώN--GSM καίC εὔχομαιVAI-AMI3S πρόςP ὁRA-ASM θεόςN2-ASM |
[18]And Moses went out from the presence of Pharaoh and prayed be fore the LORD. |
| [19]καίC μεταβάλλωVBI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ἄνεμοςN2-ASM ἀπόP θάλασσαN1S-GSF σφοδρόςA1A-ASM καίC ἀναλαμβάνωVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-ASF ἀκρίςN3D-ASF καίC ἐνβάλλωVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASF εἰςP ὁRA-ASF ἐρυθρόςA1A-ASF θάλασσαN1S-ASF καίC οὐD ὑπολείπωVVI-API3S ἀκρίςN3D-NSF εἷςA1A-NSF ἐνP πᾶςA1S-DSF γῆN1-DSF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF |
[19]And the LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts and cast them into the Red Sea; there remained not one locust in all the domain of Egypt. |
| [20]καίC σκληρύνωVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-ASF καρδίαN1A-ASF *φαραώN--GSM καίC οὐD ἐκ ἀποστέλλωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-APM υἱόςN2-APM *ἰσραήλN--GSM |
[20]But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart so that he would not let the children of Israel go |
| [21]εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX κύριοςN2-NSM πρόςP *μωυσῆςN1M-ASM ἐκτείνωVA-AAD2S ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF σύRP-GS εἰςP ὁRA-ASM οὐρανόςN2-ASM καίC γίγνομαιVC-APD3S σκότοςN3E-NSN ἐπίP γῆN1-ASF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF ψηλαφητόςA1-NSN σκότοςN3E-NSN |
[21]Then the LORD said to Moses, Lift up your hand toward the heaven that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even thick darkness. |
| [22]ἐκτείνωVAI-AAI3S δέX *μωυσῆςN1M-NSM ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF εἰςP ὁRA-ASM οὐρανόςN2-ASM καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S σκότοςN3E-NSN γνόφοςN2-NSM θύελλαN1S-NSF ἐπίP πᾶςA1S-ASF γῆN1-ASF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF τρεῖςA3-APF ἡμέραN1A-APF |
[22]And Moses lifted up his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days; |
| [23]καίC οὐD ὁράωVBI-AAI3S οὐδείςA3-NSM ὁRA-ASM ἀδελφόςN2-ASM αὐτόςRD-GSM τρεῖςA3-APF ἡμέραN1A-APF καίC οὐD ἐκ ἀναἵστημιVHI-AAI3S οὐδείςA3-NSM ἐκP ὁRA-GSF κοίτηN1-GSF αὐτόςRD-GSM τρεῖςA3-APF ἡμέραN1A-APF πᾶςA3-DPM δέX ὁRA-DPM υἱόςN2-DPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM εἰμίV9-IAI3S φῶςN3T-ASN ἐνP πᾶςA3-DPM ὅςRR-DPM καταγίγνομαιV1I-IMI3P |
[23]They did not see one another, nor rose any from his place for three days; but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings. |
| [24]καίC καλέωVAI-AAI3S *φαραώN--NSM *μωυσῆςN1M-ASM καίC *ααρωνN--ASM λέγωV1-PAPNSM βαδίζωV1-PAD2P λατρεύωVA-AAD2P κύριοςN2-DSM ὁRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM σύRP-GP πλήνD ὁRA-GPN πρόβατονN2N-GPN καίC ὁRA-GPM βοῦςN3-GPM ὑπολείπωVB-AMD2P καίC ὁRA-NSF ἀποσκευήN1-NSF σύRP-GP ἀποτρέχωV1-PAD3S μετάP σύRP-GP |
[24]And Pharaoh called to Moses and said to him, Go, serve before the LORD your God; only let your flocks and herds remain here; let your little ones also go with you. |
| [25]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S *μωυσῆςN1M-NSM ἀλλάC καίC σύRP-NS δίδωμιVF-FAI2S ἐγώRP-DP ὁλοκαύτωμαN3M-APN καίC θυσίαN1A-APF ὅςRR-APN ποιέωVF-FAI1P κύριοςN2-DSM ὁRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM ἐγώRP-GP |
[25]Then Moses said to Pharaoh. You must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God. |
| [26]καίC ὁRA-APN κτῆνοςN3E-APN ἐγώRP-GP πορεύομαιVF-FMI3S μετάP ἐγώRP-GP καίC οὐD ὑπολείπωVF-FMI1P ὁπλήN1-ASF ἀπόP αὐτόςRD-GPM γάρX λαμβάνωVF-FMI1P λατρεύωVA-AAN κύριοςN2-DSM ὁRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM ἐγώRP-GP ἐγώRP-NP δέX οὐD οἶδαVX-XAI1P τίςRI-ASN λατρεύωVA-AAS1P κύριοςN2-DSM ὁRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM ἐγώRP-GP ἕωςP ὁRA-GSN ἔρχομαιVB-AAN ἐγώRP-AP ἐκεῖD |
[26]Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve before the LORD our God; and we do not know what else we must offer to the LORD until we come there. |
| [27]σκληρύνωVAI-AAI3S δέX κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-ASF καρδίαN1A-ASF *φαραώN--GSM καίC οὐD βούλομαιVCI-API3S ἐκ ἀποστέλλωVA-AAN αὐτόςRD-APM |
[27]But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart and he would not let them go. |
| [28]καίC λέγωV1-PAI3S *φαραώN--NSM ἀποἔρχομαιVB-AAD2S ἀπόP ἐγώRP-GS προςἔχωV1-PAD2S σεαυτοῦRD-DSM ἔτιD προςτίθημιVE-AAN ὁράωVB-AAN ἐγώRP-GS ὁRA-ASN πρόσωπονN2N-ASN ὅςRR-DSF δέX ἄνX ἡμέραN1A-DSF ὁράωVB-APS2S ἐγώRP-DS ἀποθνήσκωVF2-FMI2S |
[28]And Pharaoh said to Moses. Get away from here, take heed to yourself, do not try to see my face again, |
| [29]λέγωV1-PAI3S δέX *μωυσῆςN1M-NSM εἶπονVX-XAI2S οὐκέτιD ὁράωVV-FPI1S σύRP-DS εἰςP πρόσωπονN2N-ASN |
[29]And Moses said, You have spoken well, I will not try to see your face any more |
