[1]καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς μωυσῆν λάξευσον σεαυτῷ δύο πλάκας λιθίνας καθὼς καὶ αἱ πρῶται καὶ ἀνάβηθι πρός με εἰς τὸ ὄρος καὶ γράψω ἐπὶ τῶν πλακῶν τὰ ῥήματα ἃ ἦν ἐν ταῖς πλαξὶν ταῖς πρώταις αἷς συνέτριψας	[1]And the Lord said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone, like unto the first, and I will write upon the tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou breakest in pieces.
[2]καὶ γίνου ἕτοιμος εἰς τὸ πρωὶ καὶ ἀναβήσῃ ἐπὶ τὸ ὄρος τὸ σινα καὶ στήσῃ μοι ἐκεῖ ἐπ ἄκρου τοῦ ὄρους	[2]And be ready in the morning, that thou mayest come up early unto the mount of Sinai, and wait there for me in the top of the mount.
[3]καὶ μηδεὶς ἀναβήτω μετὰ σοῦ μηδὲ ὀφθήτω ἐν παντὶ τῷ ὄρει καὶ τὰ πρόβατα καὶ αἱ βόες μὴ νεμέσθωσαν πλησίον τοῦ ὄρους ἐκείνου	[3]But let no man come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount, neither let the sheep nor cattle feed before this mount.
[4]καὶ ἐλάξευσεν δύο πλάκας λιθίνας καθάπερ καὶ αἱ πρῶται καὶ ὀρθρίσας μωυσῆς ἀνέβη εἰς τὸ ὄρος τὸ σινα καθότι συνέταξεν αὐτῷ κύριος καὶ ἔλαβεν μωυσῆς τὰς δύο πλάκας τὰς λιθίνας	[4]Then Moses hewed two tables of stone like unto the first, and rose up early in the morning, and went up unto the mount of Sinai, as the Lord had commanded him, and took in his hand two tables of stone.
[5]καὶ κατέβη κύριος ἐν νεφέλῃ καὶ παρέστη αὐτῷ ἐκεῖ καὶ ἐκάλεσεν τῷ ὀνόματι κυρίου	[5]And the Lord descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord.
[6]καὶ παρῆλθεν κύριος πρὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐκάλεσεν κύριος ὁ θεὸς οἰκτίρμων καὶ ἐλεήμων μακρόθυμος καὶ πολυέλεος καὶ ἀληθινὸς	[6]So the Lord passed before his face, and cried, The Lord, the Lord, strong, merciful, and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in goodness and truth,
[7]καὶ δικαιοσύνην διατηρῶν καὶ ποιῶν ἔλεος εἰς χιλιάδας ἀφαιρῶν ἀνομίας καὶ ἀδικίας καὶ ἁμαρτίας καὶ οὐ καθαριεῖ τὸν ἔνοχον ἐπάγων ἀνομίας πατέρων ἐπὶ τέκνα καὶ ἐπὶ τέκνα τέκνων ἐπὶ τρίτην καὶ τετάρτην γενεάν	[7]Reserving mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity, and transgression and sin, and not making the wicked innocent, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon children's children, unto the third and fourth generation.
[8]καὶ σπεύσας μωυσῆς κύψας ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν προσεκύνησεν	[8]Then Moses made haste and bowed himself to the earth, and worshiped,
[9]καὶ εἶπεν εἰ εὕρηκα χάριν ἐνώπιόν σου συμπορευθήτω ὁ κύριός μου μεθ ἡμῶν ὁ λαὸς γὰρ σκληροτράχηλός ἐστιν καὶ ἀφελεῖς σὺ τὰς ἁμαρτίας ἡμῶν καὶ τὰς ἀνομίας ἡμῶν καὶ ἐσόμεθα σοί	[9]And said, O Lord, I pray thee, If I have found grace in thy sight, that the Lord would now go with us ( for it is a stiff-necked people) and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.
[10]καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς μωυσῆν ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ τίθημί σοι διαθήκην ἐνώπιον παντὸς τοῦ λαοῦ σου ποιήσω ἔνδοξα ἃ οὐ γέγονεν ἐν πάσῃ τῇ γῇ καὶ ἐν παντὶ ἔθνει καὶ ὄψεται πᾶς ὁ λαός ἐν οἷς εἶ σύ τὰ ἔργα κυρίου ὅτι θαυμαστά ἐστιν ἃ ἐγὼ ποιήσω σοι	[10]And he answered, Behold, I will make a covenant before all thy people, and will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the world, neither in all nations: and all the people among whom thou art, shall see the work of the Lord: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.
[11]πρόσεχε σὺ πάντα ὅσα ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐκβάλλω πρὸ προσώπου ὑμῶν τὸν αμορραῖον καὶ χαναναῖον καὶ χετταῖον καὶ φερεζαῖον καὶ ευαῖον καὶ γεργεσαῖον καὶ ιεβουσαῖον	[11]Keep diligently that which I command thee this day: Behold, I will cast out before thee the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
[12]πρόσεχε σεαυτῷ μήποτε θῇς διαθήκην τοῖς ἐγκαθημένοις ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς εἰς ἣν εἰσπορεύῃ εἰς αὐτήν μή σοι γένηται πρόσκομμα ἐν ὑμῖν	[12]Take heed to thyself, that thou make no compact with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest they be the cause of ruin among you:
[13]τοὺς βωμοὺς αὐτῶν καθελεῖτε καὶ τὰς στήλας αὐτῶν συντρίψετε καὶ τὰ ἄλση αὐτῶν ἐκκόψετε καὶ τὰ γλυπτὰ τῶν θεῶν αὐτῶν κατακαύσετε ἐν πυρί	[13]But ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their images in pieces, and cut down their groves,
[14]οὐ γὰρ μὴ προσκυνήσητε θεῷ ἑτέρῳ ὁ γὰρ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ζηλωτὸν ὄνομα θεὸς ζηλωτής ἐστιν	[14](For thou shalt bow down to none other god, because the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God)
[15]μήποτε θῇς διαθήκην τοῖς ἐγκαθημένοις πρὸς ἀλλοφύλους ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς καὶ ἐκπορνεύσωσιν ὀπίσω τῶν θεῶν αὐτῶν καὶ θύσωσι τοῖς θεοῖς αὐτῶν καὶ καλέσωσίν σε καὶ φάγῃς τῶν θυμάτων αὐτῶν	[15]Lest thou make a compact with the inhabitants of the land, and when they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, some man call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice:
[16]καὶ λάβῃς τῶν θυγατέρων αὐτῶν τοῖς υἱοῖς σου καὶ τῶν θυγατέρων σου δῷς τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτῶν καὶ ἐκπορνεύσωσιν αἱ θυγατέρες σου ὀπίσω τῶν θεῶν αὐτῶν καὶ ἐκπορνεύσωσιν τοὺς υἱούς σου ὀπίσω τῶν θεῶν αὐτῶν	[16]And lest thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.
[17]καὶ θεοὺς χωνευτοὺς οὐ ποιήσεις σεαυτῷ	[17]Thou shalt make thee no gods of metal.
[18]καὶ τὴν ἑορτὴν τῶν ἀζύμων φυλάξῃ ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας φάγῃ ἄζυμα καθάπερ ἐντέταλμαί σοι εἰς τὸν καιρὸν ἐν μηνὶ τῶν νέων ἐν γὰρ μηνὶ τῶν νέων ἐξῆλθες ἐξ αἰγύπτου	[18]The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep: seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month of Abib: for in the month of Abib thou camest out of Egypt.
[19]πᾶν διανοῖγον μήτραν ἐμοί τὰ ἀρσενικά πρωτότοκον μόσχου καὶ πρωτότοκον προβάτου	[19]Every male, that first openeth the womb, shall be mine: also all the firstborn of thy flock shall be reckoned mine, both of beeves and sheep.
[20]καὶ πρωτότοκον ὑποζυγίου λυτρώσῃ προβάτῳ ἐὰν δὲ μὴ λυτρώσῃ αὐτό τιμὴν δώσεις πᾶν πρωτότοκον τῶν υἱῶν σου λυτρώσῃ οὐκ ὀφθήσῃ ἐνώπιόν μου κενός	[20]But the first of the ass thou shalt buy out with a lamb: and if thou redeem him not, then thou shalt break his neck: all the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou redeem, and none shall appear before me empty.
[21]ἓξ ἡμέρας ἐργᾷ τῇ δὲ ἑβδόμῃ καταπαύσεις τῷ σπόρῳ καὶ τῷ ἀμήτῳ καταπαύσεις	[21]Six days thou shalt work, and in the seventh day thou shalt rest: both in earing time, and in the harvest thou shalt rest.
[22]καὶ ἑορτὴν ἑβδομάδων ποιήσεις μοι ἀρχὴν θερισμοῦ πυρῶν καὶ ἑορτὴν συναγωγῆς μεσοῦντος τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ	[22]Thou shalt also observe the feast of weeks in the time of the first fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of gathering fruits in the end of the year.
[23]τρεῖς καιροὺς τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ ὀφθήσεται πᾶν ἀρσενικόν σου ἐνώπιον κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ισραηλ	[23]Thrice in a year shall all your men-children appear before the Lord Jehovah God of Israel.
[24]ὅταν γὰρ ἐκβάλω τὰ ἔθνη πρὸ προσώπου σου καὶ πλατύνω τὰ ὅριά σου οὐκ ἐπιθυμήσει οὐδεὶς τῆς γῆς σου ἡνίκα ἂν ἀναβαίνῃς ὀφθῆναι ἐναντίον κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου τρεῖς καιροὺς τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ	[24]For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy coasts, so that no man shall desire thy land, when thou shalt come up to appear before the Lord thy God thrice in the year.
[25]οὐ σφάξεις ἐπὶ ζύμῃ αἷμα θυμιαμάτων μου καὶ οὐ κοιμηθήσεται εἰς τὸ πρωὶ θύματα τῆς ἑορτῆς τοῦ πασχα	[25]Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven, neither shall ought of the sacrifice of the feast of Passover be left unto the morning.
[26]τὰ πρωτογενήματα τῆς γῆς σου θήσεις εἰς τὸν οἶκον κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου οὐ προσοίσεις ἄρνα ἐν γάλακτι μητρὸς αὐτοῦ	[26]The first ripe fruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of the Lord thy God: yet shalt thou not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.
[27]καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς μωυσῆν γράψον σεαυτῷ τὰ ῥήματα ταῦτα ἐπὶ γὰρ τῶν λόγων τούτων τέθειμαί σοι διαθήκην καὶ τῷ ισραηλ	[27]And the Lord said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.
[28]καὶ ἦν ἐκεῖ μωυσῆς ἐναντίον κυρίου τεσσαράκοντα ἡμέρας καὶ τεσσαράκοντα νύκτας ἄρτον οὖκ ἔφαγεν καὶ ὕδωρ οὐκ ἔπιεν καὶ ἔγραψεν τὰ ῥήματα ταῦτα ἐπὶ τῶν πλακῶν τῆς διαθήκης τοὺς δέκα λόγους	[28]So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights, and did neither eat bread nor drink water: and he wrote in the tables the words of the covenant, even the Ten Commandments.
[29]ὡς δὲ κατέβαινεν μωυσῆς ἐκ τοῦ ὄρους καὶ αἱ δύο πλάκες ἐπὶ τῶν χειρῶν μωυσῆ καταβαίνοντος δὲ αὐτοῦ ἐκ τοῦ ὄρους μωυσῆς οὐκ ᾔδει ὅτι δεδόξασται ἡ ὄψις τοῦ χρώματος τοῦ προσώπου αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ λαλεῖν αὐτὸν αὐτῷ	[29]So when Moses came down from mount Sinai, the two tables of the testimony were in Moses' hand, as he descended from the mount: (now Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone bright, after that God had talked with him.
[30]καὶ εἶδεν ααρων καὶ πάντες οἱ πρεσβύτεροι ισραηλ τὸν μωυσῆν καὶ ἦν δεδοξασμένη ἡ ὄψις τοῦ χρώματος τοῦ προσώπου αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐφοβήθησαν ἐγγίσαι αὐτοῦ	[30]And Aaron and all the children of Israel looked upon Moses, and behold, the skin of his face shone bright, and they were afraid to come near him)
[31]καὶ ἐκάλεσεν αὐτοὺς μωυσῆς καὶ ἐπεστράφησαν πρὸς αὐτὸν ααρων καὶ πάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες τῆς συναγωγῆς καὶ ἐλάλησεν αὐτοῖς μωυσῆς	[31]But Moses called them: and Aaron and all the chief of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses talked with them.
[32]καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα προσῆλθον πρὸς αὐτὸν πάντες οἱ υἱοὶ ισραηλ καὶ ἐνετείλατο αὐτοῖς πάντα ὅσα ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς αὐτὸν ἐν τῷ ὄρει σινα	[32]And afterward all the children of Israel came near, and he charged them with all that the Lord had said unto him in mount Sinai.
[33]καὶ ἐπειδὴ κατέπαυσεν λαλῶν πρὸς αὐτούς ἐπέθηκεν ἐπὶ τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ κάλυμμα	[33]So Moses made an end of communing with them, and had put a covering upon his face.
[34]ἡνίκα δ ἂν εἰσεπορεύετο μωυσῆς ἔναντι κυρίου λαλεῖν αὐτῷ περιῃρεῖτο τὸ κάλυμμα ἕως τοῦ ἐκπορεύεσθαι καὶ ἐξελθὼν ἐλάλει πᾶσιν τοῖς υἱοῖς ισραηλ ὅσα ἐνετείλατο αὐτῷ κύριος	[34]But, when Moses came before the Lord to speak with him, he took off the covering until he came out: then he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded.
[35]καὶ εἶδον οἱ υἱοὶ ισραηλ τὸ πρόσωπον μωυσῆ ὅτι δεδόξασται καὶ περιέθηκεν μωυσῆς κάλυμμα ἐπὶ τὸ πρόσωπον ἑαυτοῦ ἕως ἂν εἰσέλθῃ συλλαλεῖν αὐτῷ	[35]And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, how the skin of Moses' face shone bright: therefore Moses put the covering upon his face, until he went to speak with God.
