| [1]And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness. |

| [2]And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go. |
[2]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S *φαραώN--NSM τίςRI-NSM εἰμίV9-PAI3S ὅςRR-GSM εἰςἀκούωVF-FMI1S ὁRA-GSF φωνήN1-GSF αὐτόςRD-GSM ὥστεC ἐκ ἀποστέλλωVA-AAN ὁRA-APM υἱόςN2-APM *ἰσραήλN--GSM οὐD οἶδαVX-XAI1S ὁRA-ASM κύριοςN2-ASM καίC ὁRA-ASM *ἰσραήλN--ASM οὐD ἐκ ἀποστέλλωV1-PAI1S |
| [3]And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the LORD our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword. |
[3]καίC λέγωV1-PAI3P αὐτόςRD-DSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὁRA-GPM *εβραῖοςN2-GPM προςκαλέωVM-XMI3S ἐγώRP-AP πορεύομαιVF-FMI1P οὖνX ὁδόςN2-ASF τρεῖςA3-GPF ἡμέραN1A-GPF εἰςP ὁRA-ASF ἔρημοςN2-ASF ὅπωςC θύωVA-AAS1P ὁRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM ἐγώRP-GP μήποτεD συνἀντάωVA-AAS3S ἐγώRP-DP θάνατοςN2-NSM ἤC φόνοςN2-NSM |
| [4]And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens. |
[4]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DPM ὁRA-NSM βασιλεύςN3V-NSM *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF ἵναC τίςRI-NSN *μωυσῆςN1M-VSM καίC *ααρωνN--VSM διαστρέφωV1-PAI2P ὁRA-ASM λαόςN2-ASM ἐγώRP-GS ἀπόP ὁRA-GPN ἔργονN2N-GPN ἀποἔρχομαιVA-AAD2P ἕκαστοςA1-NSM σύRP-GP πρόςP ὁRA-APN ἔργονN2N-APN αὐτόςRD-GSM |
| [5]And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now are many, and ye make them rest from their burdens. |
[5]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S *φαραώN--NSM ἰδούI νῦνD πολυπληθέωV2-PAI3S ὁRA-NSM λαόςN2-NSM μήD οὖνX καταπαύωVA-AAS1P αὐτόςRD-APM ἀπόP ὁRA-GPN ἔργονN2N-GPN |
| [6]And Pharaoh commanded the same day the taskmasters of the people, and their officers, saying, |
[6]συντάσσωVAI-AAI3S δέX *φαραώN--NSM ὁRA-DPM ἐργοδιωκτήςN1M-DPM ὁRA-GSM λαόςN2-GSM καίC ὁRA-DPM γραμματεύςN3V-DPM λέγωV1-PAPNSM |
| [7]Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves. |
[7]οὐκέτιD προςτίθημιVC-FPI3S δίδωμιV8-PAN ἄχυρονN2N-ASN ὁRA-DSM λαόςN2-DSM εἰςP ὁRA-ASF πλινθουργίαN1A-ASF καθάπερD χθέςD καίC τρίτοςA1-ASF ἡμέραN1A-ASF αὐτόςRD-NPM πορεύομαιV1-PMD3P καίC συνἄγωVB-AAD3P ἑαυτοῦRD-DPM ἄχυρονN2N-APN |
| [8]And the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God. |
[8]καίC ὁRA-ASF σύνταξιςN3I-ASF ὁRA-GSF πλινθείαN1A-GSF ὅςRR-GSF αὐτόςRD-NPM ποιέωV2-PAI3P κατάP ἕκαστοςA1-ASF ἡμέραN1A-ASF ἐπιβάλλωVF-FAI2S αὐτόςRD-DPM οὐD ἀποαἱρέωVF2-FAI2S οὐδείςA3-ASN σχολάζωV1-PAI3P γάρX διάP οὗτοςRD-ASN κράζωVX-XAI3P λέγωV1-PAPNPM πορεύομαιVC-APS1P καίC θύωVA-AAS1P ὁRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM ἐγώRP-GP |
| [9]Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labour therein; and let them not regard vain words. |
[9]βαρύνωV1-PMD3S ὁRA-APN ἔργονN2N-APN ὁRA-GPM ἄνθρωποςN2-GPM οὗτοςRD-GPM καίC μεριμνάωV3-PAD3P οὗτοςRD-APN καίC μήD μεριμνάωV3-PAD3P ἐνP λόγοςN2-DPM κενόςA1-DPM |
| [10]And the taskmasters of the people went out, and their officers, and they spake to the people, saying, Thus saith Pharaoh, I will not give you straw. |
[10]κατασπεύδωV1I-IAI3P δέX αὐτόςRD-APM ὁRA-NPM ἐργοδιωκτήςN1M-NPM καίC ὁRA-NPM γραμματεύςN3V-NPM καίC λέγωV1I-IAI3P πρόςP ὁRA-ASM λαόςN2-ASM λέγωV1-PAPNPM ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S *φαραώN--NSM οὐκέτιD δίδωμιV8-PAI1S σύRP-DP ἄχυρονN2N-APN |
| [11]Go ye, get you straw where ye can find it: yet not ought of your work shall be diminished. |
[11]αὐτόςRD-NPM σύRP-NP πορεύομαιV1-PMPNPM συνλέγωV1-PAI2P ἑαυτοῦRD-DPM ἄχυρονN2N-APN ὅθενD ἐάνC εὑρίσκωVB-AAS2P οὐD γάρX ἀποαἱρέωV2-PMI3S ἀπόP ὁRA-GSF σύνταξιςN3I-GSF σύRP-GP οὐδείςA3-ASN |
| [12]So the people were scattered abroad throughout all the land of Egypt to gather stubble instead of straw. |
[12]καίC διασπείρωVDI-API3S ὁRA-NSM λαόςN2-NSM ἐνP ὅλοςA1-DSF *αἴγυπτοςN2-DSF συνἄγωVB-AAN καλάμηN1-ASF εἰςP ἄχυρονN2N-APN |
| [13]And the taskmasters hasted them, saying, Fulfil your works, your daily tasks, as when there was straw. |
[13]ὁRA-NPM δέX ἐργοδιωκτήςN1M-NPM κατασπεύδωV1I-IAI3P αὐτόςRD-APM λέγωV1-PAPNPM συντελέωV2-PAD2P ὁRA-APN ἔργονN2N-APN ὁRA-APN καταἥκωV1-PAPAPN κατάP ἡμέραN1A-ASF καθάπερD καίC ὅτεD ὁRA-ASN ἄχυρονN2N-ASN δίδωμιV8I-IMI3S σύRP-DP |
| [14]And the officers of the children of Israel, which Pharaoh's taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, and demanded, Wherefore have ye not fulfilled your task in making brick both yesterday and to day, as heretofore? |
[14]καίC μαστιγόωVCI-API3P ὁRA-NPM γραμματεύςN3V-NPM ὁRA-GSN γένοςN3E-GSN ὁRA-GPM υἱόςN2-GPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM ὁRA-NPM καταἵστημιVC-APPNPM ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-APM ὑπόP ὁRA-GPM ἐπιστάτηςN1M-GPM ὁRA-GSM *φαραώN--GSM λέγωV1-PAPNPM διάP τίςRI-ASN οὐD συντελέωVAI-AAI2P ὁRA-APF σύνταξιςN3I-APF σύRP-GP ὁRA-GSF πλινθείαN1A-GSF καθάπερD χθέςD καίC τρίτοςA1-ASF ἡμέραN1A-ASF καίC ὁRA-ASN ὁRA-GSF σήμερονD |
| [15]Then the officers of the children of Israel came and cried unto Pharaoh, saying, Wherefore dealest thou thus with thy servants? |
[15]εἰςἔρχομαιVB-AAPNPM δέX ὁRA-NPM γραμματεύςN3V-NPM ὁRA-GPM υἱόςN2-GPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM καταβοάωVAI-AAI3P πρόςP *φαραώN--ASM λέγωV1-PAPNPM ἵναC τίςRI-ASN οὕτωςD ποιέωV2-PAI2S ὁRA-DPM σύRP-DP οἰκέτηςN1M-DPM |
| [16]There is no straw given unto thy servants, and they say to us, Make brick: and, behold, thy servants are beaten; but the fault is in thine own people. |
[16]ἄχυρονN2N-ASN οὐD δίδωμιV8-PMI3S ὁRA-DPM οἰκέτηςN1M-DPM σύRP-GS καίC ὁRA-ASF πλίνθοςN2-ASF ἐγώRP-DP λέγωV1-PAI3P ποιέωV2-PAN καίC ἰδούI ὁRA-NPM παῖςN3D-NPM σύRP-GS μαστιγόωVX-XPI3P ἀδικέωVF-FAI2S οὖνX ὁRA-ASM λαόςN2-ASM σύRP-GS |
| [17]But he said, Ye are idle, ye are idle: therefore ye say, Let us go and do sacrifice to the LORD. |
[17]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DPM σχολάζωV1-PAI2P σχολαστήςN1M-NPM εἰμίV9-PAI2P διάP οὗτοςRD-ASN λέγωV1-PAI2P πορεύομαιVC-APS1P θύωVA-AAS1P ὁRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM ἐγώRP-GP |
| [18]Go therefore now, and work; for there shall no straw be given you, yet shall ye deliver the tale of bricks. |
[18]νῦνD οὖνX πορεύομαιVC-APPNPM ἐργάζομαιV1-PMD2P ὁRA-NSN γάρX ἄχυρονN2N-NSN οὐD δίδωμιVC-FPI3S σύRP-DP καίC ὁRA-ASF σύνταξιςN3I-ASF ὁRA-GSF πλινθείαN1A-GSF ἀποδίδωμιVF-FAI2P |
| [19]And the officers of the children of Israel did see that they were in evil case, after it was said, Ye shall not minish ought from your bricks of your daily task. |
[19]ὁράωV3I-IAI3P δέX ὁRA-NPM γραμματεύςN3V-NPM ὁRA-GPM υἱόςN2-GPM *ἰσραήλN--NSM ἑαυτοῦRD-APM ἐνP κακόςA1-DPN λέγωV1-PAPNPM οὐD ἀπολείπωVF-FAI2P ὁRA-GSF πλινθείαN1A-GSF ὁRA-ASN καταἥκωV1-PAPASN ὁRA-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSF |
| [20]And they met Moses and Aaron, who stood in the way, as they came forth from Pharaoh: |
[20]συνἀντάωVAI-AAI3P δέX *μωυσῆςN1M-DSM καίC *ααρωνN--DSM ἔρχομαιV1-PMPDPM εἰςP συνάντησιςN3I-ASF αὐτόςRD-DPM ἐκπορεύομαιV1-PMPGPM αὐτόςRD-GPM ἀπόP *φαραώN--GSM |
| [21]And they said unto them, The LORD look upon you, and judge; because ye have made our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us. |
[21]καίC εἶπονVAI-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-DPM ὁράωVB-AAO3S ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM σύRP-AP καίC κρίνωVA-AAO3S ὅτιC βδελύσσωVAI-AAI2P ὁRA-ASF ὀσμήN1-ASF ἐγώRP-GP ἐναντίονP *φαραώN--GSM καίC ἐναντίονP ὁRA-GPM θεράπωνN3-GPM αὐτόςRD-GSM δίδωμιVO-AAN ῥομφαίαN1A-ASF εἰςP ὁRA-APF χείρN3-APF αὐτόςRD-GSM ἀποκτείνωVA-AAN ἐγώRP-AP |
| [22]And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, LORD, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me? |
[22]ἐπιστρέφωVAI-AAI3S δέX *μωυσῆςN1M-NSM πρόςP κύριοςN2-ASM καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-VSM διάP τίςRI-ASN κακόωVAI-AAI2S ὁRA-ASM λαόςN2-ASM οὗτοςRD-ASM καίC ἵναC τίςRI-ASN ἀποστέλλωVX-XAI2S ἐγώRP-AS |
| [23]For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all. |
[23]καίC ἀπόP ὅςRR-GSM πορεύομαιVX-XMI1S πρόςP *φαραώN--ASM λαλέωVA-AAN ἐπίP ὁRA-DSN σόςRP-DS ὄνομαN3M-DSN κακόωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-ASM λαόςN2-ASM οὗτοςRD-ASM καίC οὐD ῥύομαιVAI-AMI2S ὁRA-ASM λαόςN2-ASM σύRP-GS |
