[1]Then the Lord said to Moses, Behold, I have made thee Pharaoh's God, and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet. |

[2]Thou shalt speak all that I commanded thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he suffer the children of Israel to go out of his land. |
| [3]ἐγώRP-NS δέX σκληρύνωVA-AAS1S ὁRA-ASF καρδίαN1A-ASF *φαραώN--GSM καίC πληθύνωVA-AAS1S ὁRA-APN σημεῖονN2N-APN ἐγώRP-GS καίC ὁRA-APN τέραςN3T-APN ἐνP γῆN1-DSF *αἴγυπτοςN2-DSF |
[3]But I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my miracles and my wonders in the land of Egypt. |
| [4]καίC οὐD εἰςἀκούωVF-FMI3S σύRP-GP *φαραώN--NSM καίC ἐπιβάλλωVB-AAS1S ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF ἐγώRP-GS ἐπίP *αἴγυπτοςN2-ASF καίC ἐκἄγωVF-FAI1S σύνP δύναμιςN3I-DSF ἐγώRP-GS ὁRA-ASM λαόςN2-ASM ἐγώRP-GS ὁRA-APM υἱόςN2-APM *ἰσραήλN--GSM ἐκP γῆN1-GSF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF σύνP ἐκδικέωVF-FAI3S μέγαςA1-DSF |
[4]And Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out mine armies, even my people, the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, by great judgments. |
| [5]καίC γιγνώσκωVF-FMI3P πᾶςA3-NPM ὁRA-NPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-NPM ὅτιC ἐγώRP-NS εἰμίV9-PAI1S κύριοςN2-NSM ἐκτείνωV1-PAPNSM ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF ἐπίP *αἴγυπτοςN2-ASF καίC ἐκἄγωVF-FAI1S ὁRA-APM υἱόςN2-APM *ἰσραήλN--GSM ἐκP μέσοςA1-GSM αὐτόςRD-GPM |
[5]Then the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them. |

[6]So Moses and Aaron did as the Lord commanded them, even so did they. |

[7](Now Moses was fourscore year old, and Aaron fourscore and three, when they spake unto Pharaoh) |
| [8]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM πρόςP *μωυσῆςN1M-ASM καίC *ααρωνN--ASM λέγωV1-PAPNSM |
[8]And the Lord had spoken unto Moses and Aaron, saying, |
| [9]καίC ἐάνC λαλέωVA-AAS3S πρόςP σύRP-AP *φαραώN--NSM λέγωV1-PAPNSM δίδωμιVO-AAD2P ἐγώRP-DP σημεῖονN2N-ASN ἤC τέραςN3T-ASN καίC εἶπονVF2-FAI2S *ααρωνN--DSM ὁRA-DSM ἀδελφόςN2-DSM σύRP-GS λαμβάνωVB-AAD2S ὁRA-ASF ῥάβδοςN2-ASF καίC ῥίπτωVA-AAD2S αὐτόςRD-ASF ἐπίP ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF ἐναντίονP *φαραώN--GSM καίC ἐναντίονP ὁRA-GPM θεράπωνN3-GPM αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S δράκωνN3-NSM |
[9]If Pharaoh speak unto you, saying, Show a miracle for you, then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh , and it shall be turned into a serpent. |
| [10]εἰςἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S δέX *μωυσῆςN1M-NSM καίC *ααρωνN--NSM ἐναντίονP *φαραώN--GSM καίC ὁRA-GPM θεράπωνN3-GPM αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC ποιέωVAI-AAI3P οὕτωςD καθάπερD ἐντέλλομαιVAI-AMI3S αὐτόςRD-DPM κύριοςN2-NSM καίC ῥίπτωVAI-AAI3S *ααρωνN--NSM ὁRA-ASF ῥάβδοςN2-ASF ἐναντίονP *φαραώN--GSM καίC ἐναντίονP ὁRA-GPM θεράπωνN3-GPM αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S δράκωνN3-NSM |
[10]Then went Moses and Aaron unto Pharaoh, and did even as the Lord had commanded: and Aaron cast forth his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it was turned into a serpent. |
| [11]συνκαλέωVAI-AAI3S δέX *φαραώN--NSM ὁRA-APM σοφιστήςN1M-APM *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF καίC ὁRA-APM φαρμακόςN2-APM καίC ποιέωVAI-AAI3P καίC ὁRA-NPM ἐπαοιδόςN2-NPM ὁRA-GPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-GPM ὁRA-DPF φαρμακίαN1A-DPF αὐτόςRD-GPM ὡσαύτωςD |
[11]Then Pharaoh called also for the wise men and sorcerers: and those charmers also of Egypt did in like manner with their enchantments, |
| [12]καίC ῥίπτωVAI-AAI3P ἕκαστοςA1-NSM ὁRA-ASF ῥάβδοςN2-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3P δράκωνN3-NPM καίC καταπίνωVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSF ῥάβδοςN2-NSF ὁRA-NSF *ααρωνN--GSM ὁRA-APF ἐκεῖνοςRD-GPM ῥάβδοςN2-APF |
[12]For they cast down every man his rod, and they were turned into serpents: but Aaron's rod devoured their rods. |
| [13]καίC καταἰσχύωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSF καρδίαN1A-NSF *φαραώN--GSM καίC οὐD εἰςἀκούωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-GPM καθάπερD λαλέωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DPM κύριοςN2-NSM |
[13]So Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened not to them, as the Lord had said. |
| [14]εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX κύριοςN2-NSM πρόςP *μωυσῆςN1M-ASM βαρέωVX-XPI3S ὁRA-NSF καρδίαN1A-NSF *φαραώN--GSM ὁRA-GSN μήD ἐκ ἀποστέλλωVA-AAN ὁRA-ASM λαόςN2-ASM |
[14]The Lord then said unto Moses, Pharaoh's heart is obstinate, he refuseth to let the people go. |
| [15]βαδίζωVA-AAD2S πρόςP *φαραώN--ASM ὁRA-ASN πρωΐD ἰδούI αὐτόςRD-NSM ἐκπορεύομαιV1-PMI3S ἐπίP ὁRA-ASN ὕδωρN3-ASN καίC ἵστημιVF-FMI2S συν ἀντιεἰμίV9-PAPNSM αὐτόςRD-DSM ἐπίP ὁRA-ASN χεῖλοςN3E-ASN ὁRA-GSM ποταμόςN2-GSM καίC ὁRA-ASF ῥάβδοςN2-ASF ὁRA-ASF στρέφωVD-APPASF εἰςP ὄφιςN3I-ASM λαμβάνωVF-FMI2S ἐνP ὁRA-DSF χείρN3-DSF σύRP-GS |
[15]Go unto Pharaoh in the morning, (lo, he will come unto the water) and thou shalt stand and meet him by the river's brink, and the rod, which was turned into a serpent, shalt thou take in thine hand. |
| [16]καίC εἶπονVF2-FAI2S πρόςP αὐτόςRD-ASM κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὁRA-GPM *εβραῖοςN2-GPM ἀποστέλλωVX-XAI3S ἐγώRP-AS πρόςP σύRP-AS λέγωV1-PAPNSM ἐκ ἀποστέλλωVA-AAD2S ὁRA-ASM λαόςN2-ASM ἐγώRP-GS ἵναC ἐγώRP-DS λατρεύωVA-AAS3S ἐνP ὁRA-DSF ἔρημοςN2-DSF καίC ἰδούI οὐD εἰςἀκούωVAI-AAI2S ἕωςP οὗτοςRD-GSM |
[16]And thou shalt say unto him, The Lord God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear. |
| [17]ὅδεRD-NPN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ἐνP οὗτοςRD-DSN γιγνώσκωVF-FMI2S ὅτιC ἐγώRP-NS κύριοςN2-NSM ἰδούI ἐγώRP-NS τύπτωV1-PAI1S ὁRA-DSF ῥάβδοςN2-DSF ὁRA-DSF ἐνP ὁRA-DSF χείρN3-DSF ἐγώRP-GS ἐπίP ὁRA-ASN ὕδωρN3-ASN ὁRA-ASN ἐνP ὁRA-DSM ποταμόςN2-DSM καίC μεταβάλλωVF-FAI3S εἰςP αἷμαN3M-ASN |
[17]Thus saith the Lord, In this shalt thou know that I am the Lord: behold, I will smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the water that is in the river, and it shall be turned to blood. |
| [18]καίC ὁRA-NPM ἰχθύςN3U-NPM ὁRA-NPM ἐνP ὁRA-DSM ποταμόςN2-DSM τελευτάωVF-FAI3P καίC ἐπιὄζωVF2-FAI3S ὁRA-NSM ποταμόςN2-NSM καίC οὐD δύναμαιVF-FMI3P ὁRA-NPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-NPM πίνωVB-AAN ὕδωρN3-NSN ἀπόP ὁRA-GSM ποταμόςN2-GSM |
[18]And the fish that is in the river shall die, and the river shall stink, and it shall grieve the Egyptians to drink of the water of the river. |
| [19]εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX κύριοςN2-NSM πρόςP *μωυσῆςN1M-ASM εἶπονVB-AAD2S *ααρωνN--DSM ὁRA-DSM ἀδελφόςN2-DSM σύRP-GS λαμβάνωVB-AAD2S ὁRA-ASF ῥάβδοςN2-ASF σύRP-GS καίC ἐκτείνωVA-AAD2S ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF σύRP-GS ἐπίP ὁRA-APN ὕδωρN3T-APN *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF καίC ἐπίP ὁRA-APM ποταμόςN2-APM αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC ἐπίP ὁRA-APF διῶρυξN3G-APF αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC ἐπίP ὁRA-APN ἕλοςN3E-APN αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC ἐπίP πᾶςA3-ASM συνἵστημιVXI-XAPASM ὕδωρN3-NSN αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S αἷμαN3M-NSN καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S αἷμαN3M-NSN ἐνP πᾶςA1S-DSF γῆN1-DSF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF ἐνP τεX ὁRA-DPN ξύλονN2N-DPN καίC ἐνP ὁRA-DPM λίθοςN2-DPM |
[19]The Lord then spake to Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the waters of Egypt, over their streams, over their rivers, and over their ponds, and over all pools of their waters, and they shall be blood, and there shall be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and of stone. |

[20]So Moses and Aaron did even as the Lord commanded: and he lift up the rod, and smote the water that was in the river in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants: and all the water that was in the river, was turned into blood. |
| [21]καίC ὁRA-NPM ἰχθύςN3U-NPM ὁRA-NPM ἐνP ὁRA-DSM ποταμόςN2-DSM τελευτάωVAI-AAI3P καίC ἐπιὄζωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM ποταμόςN2-NSM καίC οὐD δύναμαιV6I-IMI3P ὁRA-NPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-NPM πίνωVB-AAN ὕδωρN3-NSN ἐκP ὁRA-GSM ποταμόςN2-GSM καίC εἰμίV9-IAI3S ὁRA-NSN αἷμαN3M-NSN ἐνP πᾶςA1S-DSF γῆN1-DSF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF |
[21]And the fish that was in the river died, and the river stank: so that the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river: and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt. |
| [22]ποιέωVAI-AAI3P δέX ὡσαύτωςD καίC ὁRA-NPM ἐπαοιδόςN2-NPM ὁRA-GPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-GPM ὁRA-DPF φαρμακίαN1A-DPF αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC σκληρύνωVCI-API3S ὁRA-NSF καρδίαN1A-NSF *φαραώN--GSM καίC οὐD εἰςἀκούωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-GPM καθάπερD εἶπονVBI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM |
[22]And the enchanters of Egypt did likewise with their sorceries: and the heart of Pharaoh was hardened: so that he did not hearken unto them, as the Lord had said. |

[23]Then Pharaoh returned, and went again into his house, neither did this yet enter into his heart. |

[24]All the Egyptians then digged round about the river for waters to drink: for they could not drink of the water of the river. |

[25]And this continued fully seven days after the Lord had smitten the river. |
