[1]And the Lord said to Moses, Go in to Pharao, and thou shalt say to him, These things saith the Lord God of the Hebrews; Send my people away that they may serve me. |
| [2]εἰC μένX οὖνX μήD βούλομαιV1-PMI2S ἐκ ἀποστέλλωVA-AAN ὁRA-ASM λαόςN2-ASM ἐγώRP-GS ἀλλάC ἔτιD ἐνκρατέωV2-PAI2S αὐτόςRD-GSM |
[2]If however thou wilt not send my people away, but yet detainest them: |
| [3]ἰδούI χείρN3-NSF κύριοςN2-GSM ἐπιεἰμίVF-FMI3S ἐνP ὁRA-DPN κτῆνοςN3E-DPN σύRP-GS ὁRA-DPN ἐνP ὁRA-DPN πεδίονN2N-DPN ἐνP τεX ὁRA-DPM ἵπποςN2-DPM καίC ἐνP ὁRA-DPN ὑποζύγιονN2N-DPN καίC ὁRA-DPF κάμηλοςN2-DPF καίC βοῦςN3-DPM καίC πρόβατονN2N-DPN θάνατοςN2-NSM μέγαςA1P-NSM σφόδραD |
[3]behold, the hand of the Lord shall be upon thy cattle in the fields, both on the horses, and on the asses, and on the camels and oxen and sheep, a very great mortality. |
| [4]καίC παραδοξάζωVF-FAI1S ἐγώRP-NS ἐνP ὁRA-DSM καιρόςN2-DSM ἐκεῖνοςRD-DSM ἀνάP μέσοςA1-ASN ὁRA-GPN κτῆνοςN3E-GPN ὁRA-GPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-GPM καίC ἀνάP μέσοςA1-ASN ὁRA-GPN κτῆνοςN3E-GPN ὁRA-GPM υἱόςN2-GPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM οὐD τελευτάωVF-FAI3S ἀπόP πᾶςA3-GPM ὁRA-GPM ὁRA-GSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM υἱόςN2-GPM ῥητόςA1-ASM |
[4]And I will make a marvellous distinction in that time between the cattle of the Egyptians, and the cattle of the children of Israel: nothing shall die of all that is of the children's of Israel. |
| [5]καίC δίδωμιVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὅροςN2-ASM λέγωV1-PAPNSM ἐνP ὁRA-DSF αὔριονD ποιέωVF-FAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-ASN ῥῆμαN3M-ASN οὗτοςRD-ASN ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF |
[5]And God fixed a limit, saying, To-morrow the Lord will do this thing on the land. |
| [6]καίC ποιέωVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-ASN ῥῆμαN3M-ASN οὗτοςRD-ASN ὁRA-DSF ἐπαύριονD καίC τελευτάωVAI-AAI3S πᾶςA3-NPN ὁRA-NPN κτῆνοςN3E-NPN ὁRA-GPM *αἰγύπτιοςN2-GPM ἀπόP δέX ὁRA-GPN κτῆνοςN3E-GPN ὁRA-GPM υἱόςN2-GPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM οὐD τελευτάωVAI-AAI3S οὐδείςA3-ASN |
[6]And the Lord did this thing on the next day, and all the cattle of the Egyptians died, but of the cattle of the children of Israel there died not one. |
| [7]ὁράωVB-AAPNSM δέX *φαραώN--NSM ὅτιC οὐD τελευτάωVAI-AAI3S ἀπόP πᾶςA3-GPN ὁRA-GPN κτῆνοςN3E-GPN ὁRA-GPM υἱόςN2-GPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM οὐδείςA3-ASN βαρύνωVCI-API3S ὁRA-NSF καρδίαN1A-NSF *φαραώN--GSM καίC οὐD ἐκ ἀποστέλλωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-ASM λαόςN2-ASM |
[7]And when Pharao saw, that of all the cattle of the children of Israel there died not one, the heart of Pharao was hardened, and he did not let the people go. |
| [8]εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX κύριοςN2-NSM πρόςP *μωυσῆςN1M-ASM καίC *ααρωνN--ASM λέγωV1-PAPNSM λαμβάνωVB-AAD2P σύRP-NP πλήρηςA3H-APF ὁRA-APF χείρN3-APF αἰθάληN1-GSF καμιναίαN1A-GSF καίC πάσσωVA-AAD3S *μωυσῆςN1M-NSM εἰςP ὁRA-ASM οὐρανόςN2-ASM ἐναντίονP *φαραώN--GSM καίC ἐναντίονP ὁRA-GPM θεράπωνN3-GPM αὐτόςRD-GSM |
[8]And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, Take you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses scatter it toward heaven before Pharao, and before his servants. |
| [9]καίC γίγνομαιVC-APD3S κονιορτόςN2-NSM ἐπίP πᾶςA1S-ASF ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ἐπίP ὁRA-APM ἄνθρωποςN2-APM καίC ἐπίP ὁRA-APN τετράποδοςA1B-APN ἕλκοςN3E-NPN φλυκτίςN3D-NPF ἀναζέωV2-PAPNPF ἐνP τεX ὁRA-DPM ἄνθρωποςN2-DPM καίC ἐνP ὁRA-DPN τετράπουςA3-DPN καίC ἐνP πᾶςA1S-DSF γῆN1-DSF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF |
[9]And let it become dust over all the land of Egypt, and there shall be upon men and upon beasts sore blains breaking forth both on men and on beasts, in all the land of Egypt. |
| [10]καίC λαμβάνωVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-ASF αἰθάληN1-ASF ὁRA-GSF καμιναίαN1A-GSF ἐναντίονP *φαραώN--GSM καίC πάσσωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASF *μωυσῆςN1M-NSM εἰςP ὁRA-ASM οὐρανόςN2-ASM καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S ἕλκοςN3E-NPN φλυκτίςN3D-NPF ἀναζέωV2-PAPNPF ἐνP ὁRA-DPM ἄνθρωποςN2-DPM καίC ἐνP ὁRA-DPN τετράπουςA3-DPN |
[10]So he took of the ashes of the furnace before Pharao, and Moses scattered it toward heaven, and it became sore blains breaking forth both on men and on beasts. |
| [11]καίC οὐD δύναμαιV6I-IMI3P ὁRA-NPM φαρμακόςN2-NPM ἵστημιVH-AAN ἐναντίονP *μωυσῆςN1M-GSM διάP ὁRA-APN ἕλκοςN3E-APN γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S γάρX ὁRA-NPN ἕλκοςN3E-NPN ἐνP ὁRA-DPM φαρμακόςN2-DPM καίC ἐνP πᾶςA1S-DSF γῆN1-DSF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF |
[11]And the sorcerers could not stand before Moses because of the sores, for the sores were on the sorcerers, and in all the land of Egypt. |
| [12]σκληρύνωVAI-AAI3S δέX κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-ASF καρδίαN1A-ASF *φαραώN--GSM καίC οὐD εἰςἀκούωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-GPM καθάD συντάσσωVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM |
[12]And the Lord hardened Pharao's heart, and he hearkened not to them, as the Lord appointed. |
| [13]εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX κύριοςN2-NSM πρόςP *μωυσῆςN1M-ASM ὀρθρίζωVA-AAD2S ὁRA-ASN πρωΐD καίC ἵστημιVH-AAD2S ἐναντίονP *φαραώN--GSM καίC εἶπονVF2-FAI2S πρόςP αὐτόςRD-ASM ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὁRA-GPM *εβραῖοςN2-GPM ἐκ ἀποστέλλωVA-AAD2S ὁRA-ASM λαόςN2-ASM ἐγώRP-GS ἵναC λατρεύωVA-AAS3P ἐγώRP-DS |
[13]And the Lord said to Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharao; and thou shalt say to him, These things saith the Lord God of the Hebrews, Send away my people that they may serve me. |
| [14]ἐνP ὁRA-DSM γάρX νῦνD καιρόςN2-DSM ἐγώRP-NS ἐκ ἀποστέλλωV1-PAI1S πᾶςA3-APN ὁRA-APN συνάντημαN3-APN ἐγώRP-GS εἰςP ὁRA-ASF καρδίαN1A-ASF σύRP-GS καίC ὁRA-GPM θεράπωνN3-GPM σύRP-GS καίC ὁRA-GSM λαόςN2-GSM σύRP-GS ἵναC οἶδαVX-XAS2S ὅτιC οὐD εἰμίV9-PAI3S ὡςC ἐγώRP-NS ἄλλοςRD-NSM ἐνP πᾶςA1S-DSF ὁRA-DSF γῆN1-DSF |
[14]For at this present time do I send forth all my plagues into thine heart, and the heart of thy servants and of thy people; that thou mayest know that there is not another such as I in all the earth. |
| [15]νῦνD γάρX ἀποστέλλωVA-AAPNSM ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF πατάσσωVF-FAI1S σύRP-AS καίC ὁRA-ASM λαόςN2-ASM σύRP-GS θάνατοςN2-DSM καίC ἐκτρίβωVF-FMI2S ἀπόP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF |
[15]For now I will stretch forth my hand and smite thee and kill thy people, and thou shalt be consumed from off the earth. |
| [16]καίC ἕνεκενP οὗτοςRD-GSM διατηρέωVCI-API2S ἵναC ἐνδεικνύωVA-AMS1S ἐνP σύRP-DS ὁRA-ASF ἰσχύςN3U-ASF ἐγώRP-GS καίC ὅπωςC διαἀγγέλλωVD-APS3S ὁRA-ASN ὄνομαN3M-ASN ἐγώRP-GS ἐνP πᾶςA1S-DSF ὁRA-DSF γῆN1-DSF |
[16]And for this purpose hast thou been preserved, that I might display in thee my strength, and that my name might be published in all the earth. |
| [17]ἔτιD οὖνX σύRP-NS ἐνποιέωV2-PMI2S ὁRA-GSM λαόςN2-GSM ἐγώRP-GS ὁRA-GSN μήD ἐκ ἀποστέλλωVA-AAN αὐτόςRD-APM |
[17]Dost thou then yet exert thyself to hinder my people, so as not to let them go? |
| [18]ἰδούI ἐγώRP-NS ὕωV1-PAI1S οὗτοςRD-ASF ὁRA-ASF ὥραN1A-ASF αὔριονD χάλαζαN1A-ASF πολύςA1-ASF σφόδραD ὅστιςRX-NSF τοιοῦτοςA1-NSF οὐD γίγνομαιVX-XAI3S ἐνP *αἴγυπτοςN2-DSF ἀπόP ὅςRR-GSF ἡμέραN1A-GSF κτίζωVXI-XPI3S ἕωςP ὁRA-GSF ἡμέραN1A-GSF οὗτοςRD-GSF |
[18]Behold, to-morrow at this hour I will rain a very great hail, such as has not been in Egypt, from the time it was created until this day. |
| [19]νῦνD οὖνX κατασπεύδωVA-AAD2S συνἄγωVB-AAN ὁRA-APN κτῆνοςN3E-APN σύRP-GS καίC ὅσοςA1-APN σύRP-DS εἰμίV9-PAI3S ἐνP ὁRA-DSN πεδίονN2N-DSN πᾶςA3-NPM γάρX ὁRA-NPM ἄνθρωποςN2-NPM καίC ὁRA-APN κτῆνοςN3E-APN ὅσοςA1-APN ἄνX εὑρίσκωVC-APS3S ἐνP ὁRA-DSN πεδίονN2N-DSN καίC μήD εἰςἔρχομαιVB-AAS3S εἰςP οἰκίαN1A-ASF πίπτωVB-AAS3S δέX ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-APN ὁRA-NSF χάλαζαN1A-NSF τελευτάωVF-FAI3S |
[19]Now then hasten to gather thy cattle, and all that thou hast in the fields; for all the men and cattle as many as shall be found in the fields, and shall not enter into a house, (but the hail shall fall upon them,) shall die. |
| [20]ὁRA-NSM φοβέωV2-PMPNSM ὁRA-ASN ῥῆμαN3M-ASN κύριοςN2-GSM ὁRA-GPM θεράπωνN3-GPM *φαραώN--GSM συνἄγωVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-APN κτῆνοςN3E-APN αὐτόςRD-GSM εἰςP ὁRA-APM οἶκοςN2-APM |
[20]He of the servants of Pharao that feared the word of the Lord, gathered his cattle into the houses. |
| [21]ὅςRR-NSM δέX μήD προςἔχωVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-DSF διάνοιαN1A-DSF εἰςP ὁRA-ASN ῥῆμαN3M-ASN κύριοςN2-GSM ἀποἵημιVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-APN κτῆνοςN3E-APN ἐνP ὁRA-DPN πεδίονN2N-DPN |
[21]And he that did not attend in his mind to the word of the Lord, left the cattle in the fields. |
| [22]εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX κύριοςN2-NSM πρόςP *μωυσῆςN1M-ASM ἐκτείνωVA-AAD2S ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF σύRP-GS εἰςP ὁRA-ASM οὐρανόςN2-ASM καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S χάλαζαN1A-NSF ἐπίP πᾶςA1S-ASF γῆN1-ASF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF ἐπίP τεX ὁRA-APM ἄνθρωποςN2-APM καίC ὁRA-APN κτῆνοςN3E-APN καίC ἐπίP πᾶςA1S-ASF βοτάνηN1-ASF ὁRA-ASF ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF |
[22]And the Lord said to Moses, Stretch out thine hand to heaven, and there shall be hail on all the land of Egypt, both on the men and on the cattle, and on all the herbage on the land. |
| [23]ἐκτείνωVAI-AAI3S δέX *μωυσῆςN1M-NSM ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF εἰςP ὁRA-ASM οὐρανόςN2-ASM καίC κύριοςN2-NSM δίδωμιVAI-AAI3S φωνήN1-APF καίC χάλαζαN1A-ASF καίC διατρέχωV1I-IAI3S ὁRA-ASN πῦρN3-ASN ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF καίC βρέχωVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM χάλαζαN1A-ASF ἐπίP πᾶςA1S-ASF γῆN1-ASF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF |
[23]And Moses stretched forth his hand to heaven, and the Lord sent thunderings and hail; and the fire ran along upon the ground, and the Lord rained hail on all the land of Egypt. |
| [24]εἰμίV9-IAI3S δέX ὁRA-NSF χάλαζαN1A-NSF καίC ὁRA-NSN πῦρN3-NSN φλογίζωV1-PAPNSN ἐνP ὁRA-DSF χάλαζαN1A-DSF ὁRA-NSF δέX χάλαζαN1A-NSF πολύςA1-NSF σφόδραD σφόδραD ὅστιςRX-NSF τοιοῦτοςA1-NSF οὐD γίγνομαιVX-XAI3S ἐνP *αἴγυπτοςN2-DSF ἀπόP ὅςRR-GSM γίγνομαιVM-XMI3S ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-GSF ἔθνοςN3E-ASN |
[24]So there was hail and flaming fire mingled with hail; and the hail was very great, such as was not in Egypt, from the time there was a nation upon it. |
| [25]πατάσσωVAI-AAI3S δέX ὁRA-NSF χάλαζαN1A-NSF ἐνP πᾶςA1S-DSF γῆN1-DSF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF ἀπόP ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM ἕωςP κτῆνοςN3E-GSN καίC πᾶςA1S-ASF βοτάνηN1-ASF ὁRA-ASF ἐνP ὁRA-DSN πεδίονN2N-DSN πατάσσωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSF χάλαζαN1A-NSF καίC πᾶςA3-APN ὁRA-APN ξύλονN2N-APN ὁRA-APN ἐνP ὁRA-DPN πεδίονN2N-DPN συντρίβωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSF χάλαζαN1A-NSF |
[25]And the hail smote in all the land of Egypt both man and beast, and the hail smote all the grass in the field, and the hail broke in pieces all the trees in the field. |
| [26]πλήνD ἐνP γῆN1-DSF *γεσεμN--GS οὗD εἰμίV9-IAI3P ὁRA-NPM υἱόςN2-NPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM οὐD γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S ὁRA-NSF χάλαζαN1A-NSF |
[26]Only in the land of Gesem where the children of Israel were, the hail was not. |
| [27]ἀποστέλλωVA-AAPNSM δέX *φαραώN--NSM καλέωVAI-AAI3S *μωυσῆςN1M-ASM καίC *ααρωνN--ASM καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DPM ἁμαρτάνωVX-XAI1S ὁRA-ASN νῦνD ὁRA-NSM κύριοςN2-NSM δίκαιοςA1A-NSM ἐγώRP-NS δέX καίC ὁRA-NSM λαόςN2-NSM ἐγώRP-GS ἀσεβήςA3H-NPM |
[27]And Pharao sent and called Moses and Aaron, and said to them, I have sinned this time: the Lord is righteous, and I and my people are wicked. |
| [28]εὔχομαιVA-AMD2P οὖνX περίP ἐγώRP-GS πρόςP κύριοςN2-ASM καίC παύωVA-AMD3S ὁRA-GSN γίγνομαιVC-APN φωνήN1-APF θεόςN2-GSM καίC χάλαζαN1A-ASF καίC πῦρN3-ASN καίC ἐκ ἀποστέλλωVF2-FAI1S σύRP-AP καίC οὐκέτιD προςτίθημιVF-FMI2P μένωV1-PAN |
[28]Pray then for me to the Lord, and let him cause the thunderings of God to cease, and the hail and the fire, and I will send you forth and ye shall remain no longer. |
| [29]εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX αὐτόςRD-DSM *μωυσῆςN1M-NSM ὡςD ἄνX ἐκἔρχομαιVB-AAS1S ὁRA-ASF πόλιςN3I-ASF ἐκπετάννυμιVF-FAI1S ὁRA-APF χείρN3-APF ἐγώRP-GS πρόςP κύριοςN2-ASM καίC ὁRA-NPF φωνήN1-NPF παύωVF-FMI3P καίC ὁRA-NSF χάλαζαN1A-NSF καίC ὁRA-NSM ὑετόςN2-NSM οὐD εἰμίVF-FMI3S ἔτιD ἵναC γιγνώσκωVZ-AAS2S ὅτιC ὁRA-GSM κύριοςN2-GSM ὁRA-NSF γῆN1-NSF |
[29]And Moses said to him, When I shall have departed from the city, I will stretch out my hands to the Lord, and the thunderings shall cease, and the hail and the rain shall be no longer, that thou mayest know that the earth is the Lord's. |
| [30]καίC σύRP-NS καίC ὁRA-NPM θεράπωνN3-NPM σύRP-GS ἐπίσταμαιV6-PMI1S ὅτιC οὐδέπωD φοβέωVX-XMI2P ὁRA-ASM κύριοςN2-ASM |
[30]But as for thee and thy servants, I know that ye have not yet feared the Lord. |
| [31]ὁRA-ASN δέX λίνονN2N-NSN καίC ὁRA-NSF κριθήN1-NSF πλήσσωVDI-API3S ὁRA-NSF γάρX κριθήN1-NSF παραἵστημιVXI-XAPNSF ὁRA-ASN δέX λίνονN2N-NSN σπερματίζωV1-PAPNSN |
[31]And the flax and the barley were smitten, for the barley was advanced, and the flax was seeding. |
| [32]ὁRA-NSM δέX πυρόςN2-NSM καίC ὁRA-NSF ὀλύραN1A-NSF οὐD πλήσσωVDI-API3S ὄψιμοςA1B-NPN γάρX εἰμίV9-IAI3S |
[32]But the wheat and the rye were not smitten, for they were late. |
| [33]ἐκἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S δέX *μωυσῆςN1M-NSM ἀπόP *φαραώN--GSM ἐκτόςP ὁRA-GSF πόλιςN3I-GSF καίC ἐκπετάννυμιVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-APF χείρN3-APF πρόςP κύριοςN2-ASM καίC ὁRA-NPF φωνήN1-NPF παύωVAI-AMI3P καίC ὁRA-NSF χάλαζαN1A-NSF καίC ὁRA-NSM ὑετόςN2-NSM οὐD στάζωVAI-AAI3S ἔτιD ἐπίP ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF |
[33]And Moses went forth from Pharao out of the city, and stretched out his hands to the Lord, and the thunders ceased and the hail, and the rain did not drop on the earth. |
| [34]ὁράωVB-AAPNSM δέX *φαραώN--NSM ὅτιC παύωVM-XMI3S ὁRA-NSM ὑετόςN2-NSM καίC ὁRA-NSF χάλαζαN1A-NSF καίC ὁRA-NPF φωνήN1-NPF προςτίθημιVEI-AMI3S ὁRA-GSN ἁμαρτάνωV1-PAN καίC βαρύνωV1I-IAI3S αὐτόςRD-GSM ὁRA-ASF καρδίαN1A-ASF καίC ὁRA-GPM θεράπωνN3-GPM αὐτόςRD-GSM |
[34]And when Pharao saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders ceased, he continued to sin; and he hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants. |
| [35]καίC σκληρύνωVCI-API3S ὁRA-NSF καρδίαN1A-NSF *φαραώN--GSM καίC οὐD ἐκ ἀποστέλλωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-APM υἱόςN2-APM *ἰσραήλN--GSM καθάπερD λαλέωVAI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-DSM *μωυσῆςN1M-DSM |
[35]And the heart of Pharao was hardened, and he did not send forth the children of Israel, as the Lord said to Moses. |
