[1]And lift me up doth a spirit, and it bringeth me in unto the east gate of the house of Jehovah, that is facing the east, and lo, at the opening of the gate twenty and five men, and I see in their midst Jaazaniah son of Azzur, and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, heads of the people. |
| [2]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM πρόςP ἐγώRP-AS υἱόςN2-VSM ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM οὗτοςRD-NPM ὁRA-NPM ἀνήρN3-NPM ὁRA-NPM λογίζομαιV1-PMPNPM μάταιοςA1A-APN καίC βουλεύωV1-PMPNPM βουλήN1-ASF πονηρόςA1A-ASF ἐνP ὁRA-DSF πόλιςN3I-DSF οὗτοςRD-DSF |
[2]And He saith unto me, `Son of man, these [are] the men who are devising iniquity, and who are giving evil counsel in this city; |
| [3]ὁRA-NPM λέγωV1-PAPNPM οὐD προσφάτωςD οἰκοδομέωVM-XMI3P ὁRA-NPF οἰκίαN1A-NPF οὗτοςRD-NSF εἰμίV9-PAI3S ὁRA-NSM λέβηςN3T-NSM ἐγώRP-NP δέX ὁRA-NPN κρέαςN3-NPN |
[3]who are saying, It [is] not near -- to build houses, it [is] the pot, and we the flesh. |
| [4]διάP οὗτοςRD-ASN προφητεύωVA-AAD2S ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-APM προφητεύωVA-AAD2S υἱόςN2-VSM ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM |
[4]Therefore prophesy concerning them, prophesy, son of man.' |
| [5]καίC πίπτωVAI-AAI3S ἐπίP ἐγώRP-AS πνεῦμαN3M-NSN κύριοςN2-GSM καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S πρόςP ἐγώRP-AS λέγωV1-PAD2S ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM οὕτωςD εἶπονVAI-AAI2P οἶκοςN2-NSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM καίC ὁRA-APN διαβούλιονN2N-APN ὁRA-GSN πνεῦμαN3M-GSN σύRP-GP ἐγώRP-NS ἐπιἵστημιV6-PMI1S |
[5]And fall upon me doth the Spirit of Jehovah, and He saith unto me, `Say: Thus said Jehovah: Rightly ye have said, O house of Israel, And the steps of your spirit I have known. |
| [6]πληθύνωVAI-AAI2P νεκρόςN2-APM σύRP-GP ἐνP ὁRA-DSF πόλιςN3I-DSF οὗτοςRD-DSF καίC ἐνπίμπλημιVAI-AAI2P ὁRA-APF ὁδόςN2-APF αὐτόςRD-GSF τραυματίαςN1T-GPM |
[6]Ye multiplied your wounded in this city, And filled its out-places with the wounded. |
| [7]διάP οὗτοςRD-ASN ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-APM νεκρόςN2-APM σύRP-GP ὅςRR-APM πατάσσωVAI-AAI2P ἐνP μέσοςA1-DSN αὐτόςRD-GSF οὗτοςRD-NPM εἰμίV9-PAI3P ὁRA-NPN κρέαςN3-NPN αὐτόςRD-NSF δέX ὁRA-NSM λέβηςN3T-NSM εἰμίV9-PAI3S καίC σύRP-AP ἐκἄγωVF-FAI1S ἐκP μέσοςA1-GSN αὐτόςRD-GSF |
[7]Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Your wounded whom ye placed in its midst, They [are] the flesh, and it [is] the pot, And you he hath brought out from its midst. |
| [8]ῥομφαίαN1A-ASF φοβέωV2-PMI2P καίC ῥομφαίαN1A-ASF ἐπιἄγωVF-FAI1S ἐπίP σύRP-AP λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM |
[8]A sword ye have feared, And a sword I bring in against you, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah. |
| [9]καίC ἐκἄγωVF-FAI1S σύRP-AP ἐκP μέσοςA1-GSN αὐτόςRD-GSF καίC παραδίδωμιVF-FAI1S σύRP-AP εἰςP χείρN3-APF ἀλλότριοςA1A-GPM καίC ποιέωVF-FAI1S ἐνP σύRP-DP κρίμαN3M-APN |
[9]And I have brought you out of its midst, And given you into the hand of strangers, And I have done among you judgments. |
| [10]ἐνP ῥομφαίαN1A-DSF πίπτωVF2-FMI2P ἐπίP ὁRA-GPN ὅριονN2N-GPN ὁRA-GSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM κρίνωVF2-FAI1S σύRP-AP καίC ἐπιγιγνώσκωVF-FMI2P ὅτιC ἐγώRP-NS κύριοςN2-NSM |
[10]By the sword ye do fall, On the border of Israel I do judge you, And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah. |
| [11]αὐτόςRD-NSF σύRP-DP οὐD εἰμίVF-FMI3S εἰςP λέβηςN3T-ASM καίC σύRP-NP οὐD μήD γίγνομαιVB-AMS2P ἐνP μέσοςA1-DSN αὐτόςRD-GSF εἰςP κρέαςN3-APN ἐπίP ὁRA-GPN ὅριονN2N-GPN ὁRA-GSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM κρίνωVF2-FAI1S σύRP-AP |
[11]It is not to you for a pot, Nor are ye in its midst for flesh, At the border of Israel I do judge you. |
| [12]καίC ἐπιγιγνώσκωVF-FMI2P διότιC ἐγώRP-NS κύριοςN2-NSM |
[12]And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah, For in My statutes ye have not walked, And My Judgments ye have not done, And according to the judgments of the nations Who are round about you -- ye have done!' |
| [13]καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S ἐνP ὁRA-DSN προφητεύωV1-PAN ἐγώRP-AS καίC *φαλτιαςN1T-NSM ὁRA-NSM ὁRA-GSM *βαναιουN--GSM ἀποθνήσκωVBI-AAI3S καίC πίπτωV1-PAI1S ἐπίP πρόσωπονN2N-ASN ἐγώRP-GS καίC ἀναβοάωVAI-AAI1S φωνήN1-DSF μέγαςA1-DSF καίC εἶπονVAI-AAI1S οἴμμοιI οἴμμοιI κύριοςN2-VSM εἰςP συντέλειαN1A-ASF σύRP-NS ποιέωV2-PAI2S ὁRA-APM κατάλοιποςA1B-APM ὁRA-GSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM |
[13]And it cometh to pass, at my prophesying, that Pelatiah son of Benaiah is dying, and I fall on my face, and cry -- a loud voice -- and say, `Ah, Lord Jehovah, an end Thou art making of the remnant of Israel.' |
| [14]καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S λόγοςN2-NSM κύριοςN2-GSM πρόςP ἐγώRP-AS λέγωV1-PAPNSM |
[14]And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying, |
| [15]υἱόςN2-VSM ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM ὁRA-NPM ἀδελφόςN2-NPM σύRP-GS καίC ὁRA-NPM ἀνήρN3-NPM ὁRA-GSF αἰχμαλωσίαN1A-GSF σύRP-GS καίC πᾶςA3-NSM ὁRA-NSM οἶκοςN2-NSM ὁRA-GSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM συντελέωVM-XPI3S ὅςRR-DPM εἶπονVAI-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-DPM ὁRA-NPM καταοἰκέωV2-PAPNPM *ἰερουσαλήμN--ASF μακράνD ἀποἔχωV1-PAI2P ἀπόP ὁRA-GSM κύριοςN2-GSM ἐγώRP-DP δίδωμιVM-XMI3S ὁRA-NSF γῆN1-NSF εἰςP κληρονομίαN1A-ASF |
[15]`Son of man, thy brethren, thy brethren, men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel -- all of it, [are] they to whom inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Keep far off from Jehovah; |
| [16]διάP οὗτοςRD-ASN εἶπονVB-AAD2S ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὅτιC ἀποὠθέωVF-FMI1S αὐτόςRD-APM εἰςP ὁRA-APN ἔθνοςN3E-APN καίC διασκορπίζωVF2-FAI1S αὐτόςRD-APM εἰςP πᾶςA1S-ASF ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF καίC εἰμίVF-FMI1S αὐτόςRD-DPM εἰςP ἁγίασμαN3M-ASN μικρόςA1A-ASN ἐνP ὁRA-DPF χώραN1A-DPF ὅςRR-GSM ἄνX εἰςἔρχομαιVB-AAS3P ἐκεῖD |
[16]it [is] ours, the land hath been given for an inheritance; therefore say: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because I put them afar off among nations, And because I scattered them through lands, I also am to them for a little sanctuary, In lands whither they have gone in. |
| [17]διάP οὗτοςRD-ASN εἶπονVB-AAD2S ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM καίC εἰςδέχομαιVF-FMI1S αὐτόςRD-APM ἐκP ὁRA-GPN ἔθνοςN3E-GPN καίC συνἄγωVF-FAI1S αὐτόςRD-APM ἐκP ὁRA-GPF χώραN1A-GPF ὅςRR-GSM διασπείρωVAI-AAI1S αὐτόςRD-APM ἐνP αὐτόςRD-DPF καίC δίδωμιVF-FAI1S αὐτόςRD-DPM ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF ὁRA-GSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM |
[17]Therefore say: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: And I have assembled you from the peoples, And I have gathered you from the lands, Into which ye have been scattered, And I have given to you the ground of Israel. |
| [18]καίC εἰςἔρχομαιVF-FMI3P ἐκεῖD καίC ἐκαἴρωVF2-FAI3P πᾶςA3-APN ὁRA-APN βδέλυγμαN3M-APN αὐτόςRD-GSF καίC πᾶςA1S-APF ὁRA-APF ἀνομίαN1A-APF αὐτόςRD-GSF ἐκP αὐτόςRD-GSF |
[18]And they have gone in thither. And turned aside all its detestable things, And all its abominations -- out of it. |
| [19]καίC δίδωμιVF-FAI1S αὐτόςRD-DPM καρδίαN1A-ASF ἕτεροςA1A-ASF καίC πνεῦμαN3M-ASN καινόςA1-ASN δίδωμιVF-FAI1S ἐνP αὐτόςRD-DPM καίC ἐκσπάωVF-FAI1S ὁRA-ASF καρδίαN1A-ASF ὁRA-ASF λίθινοςA1-ASF ἐκP ὁRA-GSF σάρξN3K-GSF αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC δίδωμιVF-FAI1S αὐτόςRD-DPM καρδίαN1A-ASF σάρκινοςA1-ASF |
[19]And I have given to them one heart, And a new spirit I do give in your midst, And I have turned the heart of stone out of their flesh, And I have given to them a heart of flesh. |
| [20]ὅπωςC ἐνP ὁRA-DPN πρόσταγμαN3M-DPN ἐγώRP-GS πορεύομαιV1-PMS3P καίC ὁRA-NPN δικαίωμαN3M-NPN ἐγώRP-GS φυλάσσωV1-PMS3P καίC ποιέωV2-PAS3P αὐτόςRD-APN καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3P ἐγώRP-DS εἰςP λαόςN2-ASM καίC ἐγώRP-NS εἰμίVF-FMI1S αὐτόςRD-DPM εἰςP θεόςN2-ASM |
[20]So that in My statutes they walk, And My judgments they keep, and have done them, And they have been to me for a people, And I am to them for God. |
| [21]καίC εἰςP ὁRA-ASF καρδίαN1A-ASF ὁRA-GPN βδέλυγμαN3M-GPN αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC ὁRA-GPF ἀνομίαN1A-GPF αὐτόςRD-GPM ὡςC ὁRA-NSF καρδίαN1A-NSF αὐτόςRD-GPM πορεύομαιV1I-IMI3S ὁRA-APF ὁδόςN2-APF αὐτόςRD-GPM εἰςP κεφαλήN1-APF αὐτόςRD-GPM δίδωμιVX-XAI1S λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM |
[21]As to those whose heart is going unto the heart Of their detestable and their abominable things, Their way on their head I have put, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.' |
| [22]καίC ἐκαἴρωVBI-AAI3P ὁRA-NPN χερουβείμN--NPN ὁRA-APF πτέρυξN3G-APF αὐτόςRD-GPN καίC ὁRA-NPM τροχόςN2-NPM ἔχωV1-PMPNPM αὐτόςRD-GPN καίC ὁRA-NSF δόξαN1S-NSF θεόςN2-GSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-APN ὑπεράνωD αὐτόςRD-GPN |
[22]And the cherubs lift up their wings, and the wheels [are] over-against them, and the honour of the God of Israel [is] over them above. |
| [23]καίC ἀναβαίνωVZI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSF δόξαN1S-NSF κύριοςN2-GSM ἐκP μέσοςA1-GSF ὁRA-GSF πόλιςN3I-GSF καίC ἵστημιVHI-AAI3S ἐπίP ὁRA-GSN ὄροςN3E-GSN ὅςRR-NSN εἰμίV9-IAI3S ἀπέναντιD ὁRA-GSF πόλιςN3I-GSF |
[23]And the honour of Jehovah goeth up from off the midst of the city, and standeth on the mountain, that [is] on the east of the city. |
| [24]καίC ἀναλαμβάνωVBI-AAI3S ἐγώRP-AS πνεῦμαN3M-NSN καίC ἄγωVBI-AAI3S ἐγώRP-AS εἰςP γῆN1-ASF *χαλδαῖοςN2-GPM εἰςP ὁRA-ASF αἰχμαλωσίαN1A-ASF ἐνP ὅρασιςN3I-DSF ἐνP πνεῦμαN3M-DSN θεόςN2-GSM καίC ἀναβαίνωVZI-AAI1S ἀπόP ὁRA-GSF ὅρασιςN3I-GSF ὅςRR-GSF ὁράωVBI-AAI1S |
[24]And a spirit hath lifted me up, and bringeth me in to Chaldea, unto the Removed, in a vision, by the Spirit of God, and go up from off me doth the vision that I have seen; |
| [25]καίC λαλέωVAI-AAI1S πρόςP ὁRA-ASF αἰχμαλωσίαN1A-ASF πᾶςA3-APM ὁRA-APM λόγοςN2-APM ὁRA-GSM κύριοςN2-GSM ὅςRR-APM δεικνύωVAI-AAI3S ἐγώRP-DS |
[25]and I speak unto the Removed all the matters of Jehovah that He hath shewed me. |
