| [2]SonH1121 of manH120, thou dwellestH3427[H8802] in the midstH8432 of a rebelliousH4805 houseH1004, which have eyesH5869 to seeH7200[H8800], and seeH7200[H8804] not; they have earsH241 to hearH8085[H8800], and hearH8085[H8804] not: for they are a rebelliousH4805 houseH1004. |
[2]בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם בְּתֹ֥וךְ בֵּית־הַמֶּ֖רִי אַתָּ֣ה יֹשֵׁ֑ב אֲשֶׁ֣ר עֵינַיִם֩ לָהֶ֨ם לִרְאֹ֜ות וְלֹ֣א רָא֗וּ אָזְנַ֨יִם לָהֶ֤ם לִשְׁמֹ֙עַ֙ וְלֹ֣א שָׁמֵ֔עוּ כִּ֛י בֵּ֥ית מְרִ֖י הֵֽם׃ |
| [3]Therefore, thou sonH1121 of manH120, prepareH6213[H8798] thee stuffH3627 for removingH1473, and removeH1540[H8798] by dayH3119 in their sightH5869; and thou shalt removeH1540[H8804] from thy placeH4725 to anotherH312 placeH4725 in their sightH5869: it may be they will considerH7200[H8799], though they be a rebelliousH4805 houseH1004. |
[3]וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן־אָדָ֗ם עֲשֵׂ֤ה לְךָ֙ כְּלֵ֣י גֹולָ֔ה וּגְלֵ֥ה יֹומָ֖ם לְעֵֽינֵיהֶ֑ם וְגָלִ֨יתָ מִמְּקֹומְךָ֜ אֶל־מָקֹ֤ום אַחֵר֙ לְעֵ֣ינֵיהֶ֔ם אוּלַ֣י יִרְא֔וּ כִּ֛י בֵּ֥ית מְרִ֖י הֵֽמָּה׃ |
| [4]Then shalt thou bring forthH3318[H8689] thy stuffH3627 by dayH3119 in their sightH5869, as stuffH3627 for removingH1473: and thou shalt go forthH3318[H8799] at evenH6153 in their sightH5869, as they that go forthH4161 into captivityH1473. |
[4]וְהֹוצֵאתָ֨ כֵלֶ֜יךָ כִּכְלֵ֥י גֹולָ֛ה יֹומָ֖ם לְעֵֽינֵיהֶ֑ם וְאַתָּ֗ה תֵּצֵ֤א בָעֶ֙רֶב֙ לְעֵ֣ינֵיהֶ֔ם כְּמֹוצָאֵ֖י גֹּולָֽה׃ |
| [5]DigH2864[H8798] thou through the wallH7023 in their sightH5869, and carry outH3318 therebyH8689. |
[5]לְעֵינֵיהֶ֖ם חֲתָר־לְךָ֣ בַקִּ֑יר וְהֹוצֵאתָ֖ בֹּֽו׃ |
| [6]In their sightH5869 shalt thou bearH5375[H8799] it upon thy shouldersH3802, and carry it forthH3318[H8686] in the twilightH5939: thou shalt coverH3680[H8762] thy faceH6440, that thou seeH7200[H8799] not the groundH776: for I have setH5414[H8804] thee for a signH4159 unto the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478. |
[6]לְעֵ֨ינֵיהֶ֜ם עַל־כָּתֵ֤ף תִּשָּׂא֙ בָּעֲלָטָ֣ה תֹוצִ֔יא פָּנֶ֣יךָ תְכַסֶּ֔ה וְלֹ֥א תִרְאֶ֖ה אֶת־הָאָ֑רֶץ כִּֽי־מֹופֵ֥ת נְתַתִּ֖יךָ לְבֵ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ |
| [7]And I didH6213[H8799] so as I was commandedH6680[H8795]: I brought forthH3318[H8689] my stuffH3627 by dayH3119, as stuffH3627 for captivityH1473, and in the evenH6153 I diggedH2864[H8804] through the wallH7023 with mine handH3027; I brought it forthH3318[H8689] in the twilightH5939, and I bareH5375[H8804] it upon my shoulderH3802 in their sightH5869. |
[7]וָאַ֣עַשׂ כֵּן֮ כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר צֻוֵּיתִי֒ כֵּ֠לַי הֹוצֵ֜אתִי כִּכְלֵ֤י גֹולָה֙ יֹומָ֔ם וּבָעֶ֛רֶב חָתַֽרְתִּי־לִ֥י בַקִּ֖יר בְּיָ֑ד בָּעֲלָטָ֥ה הֹוצֵ֛אתִי עַל־כָּתֵ֥ף נָשָׂ֖אתִי לְעֵינֵיהֶֽם׃ |
| [8]And in the morningH1242 came the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 unto me, sayingH559,[H8800] |
[8]וַיְהִ֧י דְבַר־יְהוָ֛ה אֵלַ֖י בַּבֹּ֥קֶר לֵאמֹֽר׃ |
| [9]SonH1121 of manH120, hath not the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, the rebelliousH4805 houseH1004, saidH559[H8804] unto thee, What doestH6213 thouH8802? |
[9]בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם הֲלֹ֨א אָמְר֥וּ אֵלֶ֛יךָ בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בֵּ֣ית הַמֶּ֑רִי מָ֖ה אַתָּ֥ה עֹשֶֽׂה׃ |
| [10]SayH559[H8798] thou unto them, Thus saithH559[H8804] the LordH136 GODH3069; This burdenH4853 concerneth the princeH5387 in JerusalemH3389, and all the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 that are among themH8432. |
[10]אֱמֹ֣ר אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהֹוִ֑ה הַנָּשִׂ֞יא הַמַּשָּׂ֤א הַזֶּה֙ בִּיר֣וּשָׁלַ֔ם וְכָל־בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל אֲשֶׁר־הֵ֥מָּה בְתֹוכָֽם׃ |
| [11]SayH559[H8798], I am your signH4159: like as I have doneH6213[H8804], so shall it be doneH6213[H8735] unto them: they shall removeH1473 and goH3212[H8799] into captivityH7628. |
[11]אֱמֹ֖ר אֲנִ֣י מֹֽופֶתְכֶ֑ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשִׂ֗יתִי כֵּ֚ן יֵעָשֶׂ֣ה לָהֶ֔ם בַּגֹּולָ֥ה בַשְּׁבִ֖י יֵלֵֽכוּ׃ |
| [12]And the princeH5387 that is amongH8432 them shall bearH5375[H8799] upon his shoulderH3802 in the twilightH5939, and shall go forthH3318[H8799]: they shall digH2864[H8799] through the wallH7023 to carry outH3318[H8687] thereby: he shall coverH3680[H8762] his faceH6440, thatH3282 he seeH7200[H8799] not the groundH776 with his eyesH5869. |
[12]וְהַנָּשִׂ֨יא אֲשֶׁר־בְּתֹוכָ֜ם אֶל־כָּתֵ֤ף יִשָּׂא֙ בָּעֲלָטָ֣ה וְיֵצֵ֔א בַּקִּ֥יר יַחְתְּר֖וּ לְהֹ֣וצִיא בֹ֑ו פָּנָ֣יו יְכַסֶּ֔ה יַ֗עַן אֲשֶׁ֨ר לֹא־יִרְאֶ֥ה לַעַ֣יִן ה֖וּא אֶת־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ |
| [13]My netH7568 also will I spreadH6566[H8804] upon him, and he shall be takenH8610[H8738] in my snareH4686: and I will bringH935[H8689] him to BabylonH894 to the landH776 of the ChaldeansH3778; yet shall he not seeH7200[H8799] it, though he shall dieH4191 thereH8799. |
[13]וּפָרַשְׂתִּ֤י אֶת־רִשְׁתִּי֙ עָלָ֔יו וְנִתְפַּ֖שׂ בִּמְצֽוּדָתִ֑י וְהֵבֵאתִ֨י אֹתֹ֤ו בָבֶ֙לָה֙ אֶ֣רֶץ כַּשְׂדִּ֔ים וְאֹותָ֥הּ לֹֽא־יִרְאֶ֖ה וְשָׁ֥ם יָמֽוּת׃ |
| [14]And I will scatterH2219[H8762] toward every windH7307 all that are aboutH5439 him to helpH5828 him, and all his bandsH102; and I will draw outH7324[H8686] the swordH2719 after themH310. |
[14]וְכֹל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר סְבִיבֹתָ֥יו [עֶזְרֹה כ] (עֶזְרֹ֛ו ק) וְכָל־אֲגַפָּ֖יו אֱזָרֶ֣ה לְכָל־ר֑וּחַ וְחֶ֖רֶב אָרִ֥יק אַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃ |
| [15]And they shall knowH3045[H8804] that I am the LORDH3068, when I shall scatterH6327[H8687] them among the nationsH1471, and disperseH2219[H8765] them in the countriesH776. |
[15]וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֑ה בַּהֲפִיצִ֤י אֹותָם֙ בַּגֹּויִ֔ם וְזֵרִיתִ֥י אֹותָ֖ם בָּאֲרָצֹֽות׃ |
| [16]But I will leaveH3498[H8689] a fewH4557 menH582 of them from the swordH2719, from the famineH7458, and from the pestilenceH1698; that they may declareH5608[H8762] all their abominationsH8441 among the heathenH1471 whither they comeH935[H8804]; and they shall knowH3045[H8804] that I am the LORDH3068. |
[16]וְהֹותַרְתִּ֤י מֵהֶם֙ אַנְשֵׁ֣י מִסְפָּ֔ר מֵחֶ֖רֶב מֵרָעָ֣ב וּמִדָּ֑בֶר לְמַ֨עַן יְסַפְּר֜וּ אֶת־כָּל־תֹּועֲבֹֽותֵיהֶ֗ם בַּגֹּויִם֙ אֲשֶׁר־בָּ֣אוּ שָׁ֔ם וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ |
| [17]Moreover the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 came to me, sayingH559,[H8800] |
[17]וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ |
| [18]SonH1121 of manH120, eatH398[H8799] thy breadH3899 with quakingH7494, and drinkH8354[H8799] thy waterH4325 with tremblingH7269 and with carefulnessH1674; |
[18]בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם לַחְמְךָ֖ בְּרַ֣עַשׁ תֹּאכֵ֑ל וּמֵימֶ֕יךָ בְּרָגְזָ֥ה וּבִדְאָגָ֖ה תִּשְׁתֶּֽה׃ |
| [19]And sayH559[H8804] unto the peopleH5971 of the landH127, Thus saithH559[H8804] the LordH136 GODH3069 of the inhabitantsH3427[H8802] of JerusalemH3389, and of the landH776 of IsraelH3478; They shall eatH398[H8799] their breadH3899 with carefulnessH1674, and drinkH8354[H8799] their waterH4325 with astonishmentH8078, that her landH776 may be desolateH3456[H8799] from all that is thereinH4393, because of the violenceH2555 of all them that dwellH3427 thereinH8802. |
[19]וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֶל־עַ֣ם הָאָ֡רֶץ כֹּֽה־אָמַר֩ אֲדֹנָ֨י יְהוִ֜ה לְיֹושְׁבֵ֤י יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ אֶל־אַדְמַ֣ת יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לַחְמָם֙ בִּדְאָגָ֣ה יֹאכֵ֔לוּ וּמֵֽימֵיהֶ֖ם בְּשִׁמָּמֹ֣ון יִשְׁתּ֑וּ לְמַ֜עַן תֵּשַׁ֤ם אַרְצָהּ֙ מִמְּלֹאָ֔הּ מֵחֲמַ֖ס כָּֽל־הַיֹּשְׁבִ֥ים בָּֽהּ׃ |
| [20]And the citiesH5892 that are inhabitedH3427[H8737] shall be laid wasteH2717[H8799], and the landH776 shall be desolateH8077; and ye shall knowH3045[H8804] that I am the LORDH3068. |
[20]וְהֶעָרִ֤ים הַנֹּֽושָׁבֹות֙ תֶּחֱרַ֔בְנָה וְהָאָ֖רֶץ שְׁמָמָ֣ה תִֽהְיֶ֑ה וִֽידַעְתֶּ֖ם כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ |
| [21]And the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 came unto me, sayingH559,[H8800] |
[21]וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ |
| [22]SonH1121 of manH120, what is that proverbH4912 that ye have in the landH127 of IsraelH3478, sayingH559[H8800], The daysH3117 are prolongedH748[H8799], and every visionH2377 failethH6?[H8804] |
[22]בֶּן־אָדָ֗ם מָֽה־הַמָּשָׁ֤ל הַזֶּה֙ לָכֶ֔ם עַל־אַדְמַ֥ת יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר יַֽאַרְכוּ֙ הַיָּמִ֔ים וְאָבַ֖ד כָּל־חָזֹֽון׃ |
| [23]TellH559[H8798] them therefore, Thus saithH559[H8804] the LordH136 GODH3069; I will make this proverbH4912 to ceaseH7673[H8689], and they shall no more use it as a proverbH4911[H8799] in IsraelH3478; but sayH1696[H8761] unto them, The daysH3117 are at handH7126[H8804], and the effectH1697 of every visionH2377. |
[23]לָכֵ֞ן אֱמֹ֣ר אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם כֹּֽה־אָמַר֮ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִה֒ הִשְׁבַּ֙תִּי֙ אֶת־הַמָּשָׁ֣ל הַזֶּ֔ה וְלֹֽא־יִמְשְׁל֥וּ אֹתֹ֛ו עֹ֖וד בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כִּ֚י אִם־דַּבֵּ֣ר אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם קָֽרְבוּ֙ הַיָּמִ֔ים וּדְבַ֖ר כָּל־חָזֹֽון׃ |
| [24]For there shall be no more any vainH7723 visionH2377 nor flatteringH2509 divinationH4738 withinH8432 the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478. |
[24]כִּ֠י לֹ֣א יִֽהְיֶ֥ה עֹ֛וד כָּל־חֲזֹ֥ון שָׁ֖וְא וּמִקְסַ֣ם חָלָ֑ק בְּתֹ֖וךְ בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ |
| [25]For I am the LORDH3068: I will speakH1696[H8762], and the wordH1697 that I shall speakH1696[H8762] shall come to passH6213[H8735]; it shall be no more prolongedH4900[H8735]: for in your daysH3117, O rebelliousH4805 houseH1004, will I sayH1696[H8762] the wordH1697, and will performH6213[H8804] it, saithH5002[H8803] the LordH136 GODH3069. |
[25]כִּ֣י ׀ אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֗ה אֲדַבֵּר֙ אֵת֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר אֲדַבֵּ֤ר דָּבָר֙ וְיֵ֣עָשֶׂ֔ה לֹ֥א תִמָּשֵׁ֖ךְ עֹ֑וד כִּ֣י בִֽימֵיכֶ֞ם בֵּ֣ית הַמֶּ֗רִי אֲדַבֵּ֤ר דָּבָר֙ וַעֲשִׂיתִ֔יו נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃ |
| [26]Again the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 came to me, sayingH559,[H8800] |
[26]וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ |
| [27]SonH1121 of manH120, behold, they of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 sayH559[H8802], The visionH2377 that he seethH2372[H8802] is for manyH7227 daysH3117 to come, and he prophesiethH5012[H8738] of the timesH6256 that are far offH7350. |
[27]בֶּן־אָדָ֗ם הִנֵּ֤ה בֵֽית־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אֹֽמְרִ֔ים הֶחָזֹ֛ון אֲשֶׁר־ה֥וּא חֹזֶ֖ה לְיָמִ֣ים רַבִּ֑ים וּלְעִתִּ֥ים רְחֹוקֹ֖ות ה֥וּא נִבָּֽא׃ |
| [28]Therefore sayH559[H8798] unto them, Thus saithH559[H8804] the LordH136 GODH3069; There shall none of my wordsH1697 be prolongedH4900[H8735] any more, but the wordH1697 which I have spokenH1696[H8762] shall be doneH6213[H8735], saithH5002[H8803] the LordH136 GODH3069. |
[28]לָכֵ֞ן אֱמֹ֣ר אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה לֹא־תִמָּשֵׁ֥ךְ עֹ֖וד כָּל־דְּבָרָ֑י אֲשֶׁ֨ר אֲדַבֵּ֤ר דָּבָר֙ וְיֵ֣עָשֶׂ֔ה נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃ |
