[2]Therefore prophesy, son of man, set thy face steadfastly toward Jerusalem, and look toward their holy places, and thou shalt prophesy against the land of Israel, |

[3]and thou shalt say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I am against thee, and I will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and I will destroy out of thee the transgressor and unrighteous. |

[4]Because I will destroy out of thee the unrighteous and the transgressor, therefore so shall my sword come forth out of its sheath against all flesh from the south to the north: |
| [5]καίC εἶπονVAI-AAI1S μηδαμῶςD κύριοςN2-VSM κύριοςN2-VSM αὐτόςRD-NPM λέγωV1-PAI3P πρόςP ἐγώRP-AS οὐD παραβολήN1-NSF εἰμίV9-PAI3S λέγωV1-PMPNSF οὗτοςRD-NSF |
[5]and all flesh shall know that I the Lord have drawn forth my sword out of its sheath: it shall not return any more. |
| [6]καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S λόγοςN2-NSM κύριοςN2-GSM πρόςP ἐγώRP-AS λέγωV1-PAPNSM |
[6]And thou, son of man, groan with the breaking of thy loins; thou shalt even groan heavily in their sight. |
| [7]διάP οὗτοςRD-ASN προφητεύωVA-AAD2S υἱόςN2-VSM ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM καίC στηρίζωVA-AAD2S ὁRA-ASN πρόσωπονN2N-ASN σύRP-GS ἐπίP *ἰερουσαλήμN--ASF καίC ἐπιβλέπωVA-AAD2S ἐπίP ὁRA-APN ἅγιοςA1A-APN αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC προφητεύωVF-FAI2S ἐπίP ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF ὁRA-GSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM |
[7]And it shall come to pass, if they shall say to thee, Wherefore dost thou groan? that thou shalt say, For the report; because it comes: and every heart shall break, and all hands shall become feeble, and all flesh and every spirit shall faint, and all thighs shall be defiled with moisture: behold, it comes, saith the Lord. |

[8]And the word of the Lord came to me, saying, |
| [9]ἀντίP ὅςRR-GPM ἐκὀλεθρεύωVF-FAI1S ἐκP σύRP-GS ἄδικοςA1B-ASM καίC ἄνομοςA1B-ASM οὕτωςD ἐκἔρχομαιVF-FMI3S ὁRA-NSN ἐγχειρίδιονN2N-NSN ἐγώRP-GS ἐκP ὁRA-GSM κολεόςN2-GSM αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐπίP πᾶςA1S-ASF σάρξN3K-ASF ἀπόP ἀπηλιώτηςN1M-GSM ἕωςP βορέαςN1T-GSM |
[9]Son of man, prophesy, and thou shalt say, Thus saith the Lord; Say, Sword, sword, be sharpened and rage, |
| [10]καίC ἐπιγιγνώσκωVF-FMI3S πᾶςA1S-NSF σάρξN3K-NSF διότιC ἐγώRP-NS κύριοςN2-NSM ἐκσπάωVAI-AAI1S ὁRA-ASN ἐγχειρίδιονN2N-ASN ἐγώRP-GS ἐκP ὁRA-GSM κολεόςN2-GSM αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC οὐD ἀποστρέφωVF-FAI3S οὐκέτιD |
[10]that thou mayest slay victims; be sharpened that thou mayest be bright, ready for slaughter, slay, set at nought, despise every tree. |
| [11]καίC σύRP-NS υἱόςN2-VSM ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM καταστενάζωVA-AAD2S ἐνP συντριβήN1-DSF ὀσφύςN3U-GSF σύRP-GS καίC ἐνP ὀδύνηN1-DPF στενάζωVF-FAI2S κατάP ὀφθαλμόςN2-APM αὐτόςRD-GPM |
[11]And he made it ready for his hand to hold: the sword is sharpened, it is ready to put into the hand of the slayer. |
| [12]καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ἐάνC εἶπονVB-AAS3P πρόςP σύRP-AS ἕνεκαP τίςRI-GSN σύRP-NS στενάζωV1-PAI2S καίC εἶπονVF2-FAI2S ἐπίP ὁRA-DSF ἀγγελίαN1A-DSF διότιC ἔρχομαιV1-PMI3S καίC θραύωVC-FPI3S πᾶςA1S-NSF καρδίαN1A-NSF καίC πᾶςA1S-NPF χείρN3-NPF παραλύωVC-FPI3P καίC ἐκψύχωVF-FAI3S πᾶςA1S-NSF σάρξN3K-NSF καίC πᾶςA3-NSN πνεῦμαN3M-NSN καίC πᾶςA3-NPM μηρόςN2-NPM μολύνωVC-FPI3P ὑγρασίαN1A-DSF ἰδούI ἔρχομαιV1-PMI3S καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM κύριοςN2-NSM |
[12]Cry out and howl, son of man: for this sword is come upon my people, this sword is come upon all the princes of Israel: they shall be as strangers: judgment with the sword is come upon my people: therefore clap thine hands, for sentence has been passed: |

[13]and what if even the tribe be rejected? it shall not be, saith the Lord God. |
| [14]υἱόςN2-VSM ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM προφητεύωVA-AAD2S καίC εἶπονVF2-FAI2S ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM εἶπονVB-AAD2S ῥομφαίαN1A-NSF ῥομφαίαN1A-NSF ὀξύνωV1-PMD2S καίC θυμόωVC-APD2S |
[14]And thou, son of man, prophesy, and clap thine hands, and take a second sword: the third sword is the sword of the slain, the great sword of the slain: and thou shalt strike them with amazement, lest the heart should faint |
| [15]ὅπωςC σφάζωVA-AAS2S σφάγιονN2N-APN ὀξύνωV1-PMD2S ὅπωςC γίγνομαιVB-AMS2S εἰςP στίλβωσιςN3I-ASF ἕτοιμοςA1-NSF εἰςP παράλυσιςN3I-ASF σφάζωV1-PAD2S ἐκοὐδενέωV2-PAD2S ἀποὠθέωV2-PMD2S πᾶςA3-NSN ξύλονN2N-NSN |
[15]and the weak ones be multiplied at every gate—they are given up to the slaughter of the sword: it is well fitted for slaughter, it is well fitted for glittering. |

[16]And do thou go on, sharpen thyself on the right and on the left whithersoever thy face may set itself. |
| [17]ἀνακράζωV1-PAD2S καίC ὀλολύζωVA-AAD2S υἱόςN2-VSM ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM ὅτιC αὐτόςRD-NSF γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S ἐνP ὁRA-DSM λαόςN2-DSM ἐγώRP-GS αὐτόςRD-NSF ἐνP πᾶςA3-DPM ὁRA-DPM ἀποἡγέομαιV2-PMPDPM ὁRA-GSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM παραοἰκέωVF-FAI3P ἐπίP ῥομφαίαN1A-DSF γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S ἐνP ὁRA-DSM λαόςN2-DSM ἐγώRP-GS διάP οὗτοςRD-ASN κροτέωVA-AAD2S ἐπίP ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF σύRP-GS |
[17]And I also will clap my hands, and let loose my fury: I the Lord have spoken it. |
| [18]ὅτιC δικαιόωVM-XPI3S καίC τίςRI-ASN εἰC καίC φυλήN1-NSF ἀποὠθέωVS-API3S οὐD εἰμίVF-FMI3S λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM κύριοςN2-NSM |
[18]And the word of the Lord came to me, saying, |
| [19]καίC σύRP-NS υἱόςN2-VSM ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM προφητεύωVA-AAD2S καίC κροτέωVA-AAD2S χείρN3-ASF ἐπίP χείρN3-ASF καίC διπλασιάζωVA-AAD2S ῥομφαίαN1A-ASF ὁRA-NSF τρίτοςA1-NSF ῥομφαίαN1A-NSF τραυματίαςN1T-GPM εἰμίV9-PAI3S ῥομφαίαN1A-NSF τραυματίαςN1T-GPM ὁRA-NSF μέγαςA1-NSF καίC ἐκἵστημιVF-FAI3S αὐτόςRD-APM |
[19]and thou, son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may enter in: the two shall go forth of one country; and there shall be a force at the top of the way of the city, thou shalt set it at the top of the way, |
| [20]ὅπωςC θραύωVC-APS3S ὁRA-NSF καρδίαN1A-NSF καίC πληθύνωVC-APS3P ὁRA-NPM ἀσθενέωV2-PAPNPM ἐπίP πᾶςA1S-ASF πύληN1-ASF αὐτόςRD-GPM παραδίδωμιVM-XMI3P εἰςP σφάγιονN2N-APN ῥομφαίαN1A-GSF εὖD γίγνομαιVX-XAI3S εἰςP σφαγήN1-ASF εὖD γίγνομαιVX-XAI3S εἰςP στίλβωσιςN3I-ASF |
[20]that the sword may enter in upon Rabbath of the children of Ammon, and upon Judea, and upon Jerusalem in the midst thereof. |
| [21]διαπορεύομαιV1-PMD2S ὀξύνωV1-PMD2S ἐκP δεξιόςA1A-GPM καίC ἐκP εὐώνυμοςA1B-GPM ὅςRR-GSM ἄνX ὁRA-ASN πρόσωπονN2N-ASN σύRP-GS ἐκἐγείρωVA-AMS3S |
[21]For the king of Babylon shall stand on the old way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination, to make bright the arrow, and to enquire of the graven images, and to examine the victims. |
| [22]καίC ἐγώRP-NS δέX κροτέωVF-FAI1S χείρN3-ASF ἐγώRP-GS πρόςP χείρN3-ASF ἐγώRP-GS καίC ἐν ἀποἵημιVF-FAI1S ὁRA-ASM θυμόςN2-ASM ἐγώRP-GS ἐγώRP-NS κύριοςN2-NSM λαλέωVX-XAI1S |
[22]On his right was the divination against Jerusalem, to cast a mound, to open the mouth in shouting, to lift up the voice with crying, to cast a mound against her gates, to cast up a heap, and to build forts. |

[23]And he was to them as one using divination before them, and he himself recounting his iniquities, that they might be borne in mind. |
| [24]καίC σύRP-NS υἱόςN2-VSM ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM διατάσσωVA-AAD2S σεαυτοῦRD-DSM δύοM ὁδόςN2-APF ὁRA-GSN εἰςἔρχομαιVB-AAN ῥομφαίαN1A-ASF βασιλεύςN3V-GSM *βαβυλώνN3W-GSF ἐκP χώραN1A-GSF εἷςA1A-GSF ἐκἔρχομαιVF-FMI3P ὁRA-NPF δύοM καίC χείρN3-NSF ἐνP ἀρχήN1-DSF ὁδόςN2-GSF πόλιςN3I-GSF ἐπίP ἀρχήN1-GSF |
[24]Therefore thus saith the Lord, Because ye have caused your iniquities to be remembered, in the discovery of your wickedness, so that your sins should be seen, in all your wickedness and in your evil practices; because ye have caused remembrance of them, in these shall ye be taken. |

[25]And thou profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day, even an end, is come in a sea of iniquity, thus saith the Lord; |
| [26]διότιC ἵστημιVF-FMI3S βασιλεύςN3V-NSM *βαβυλώνN3W-GSF ἐπίP ὁRA-ASF ἀρχαῖοςA1A-ASF ὁδόςN2-ASF ἐπίP ἀρχήN1-GSF ὁRA-GPF δύοM ὁδόςN2-GPF ὁRA-GSN μαντεύομαιVA-AMN μαντείαN1A-ASF ὁRA-GSN ἀναβράζωVA-AAN ῥάβδοςN2-ASF καίC ἐπιἐρωτάωVA-AAN ἐνP ὁRA-DPM γλυπτόςA1-DPM καίC ἡπατοσκοπέωVA-AMN ἐκP δεξιόςA1A-GPM αὐτόςRD-GSM |
[26]Thou hast taken off the mitre and put on the crown, it shall not have such another after it: thou hast abased that which was high, and exalted that which was low. |

[27]Injustice, injustice, injustice, will I make it: woe to it: such shall it be until he comes to whom it belongs; and I will deliver it to him. |

[28]And thou, son of man, prophesy, and thou shalt say, Thus saith the Lord, concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach; and thou shalt say, O sword, sword, drawn for slaughter, and drawn for destruction, awake, that thou mayest gleam. |

[29]While thou art seeing vain visions, and while thou art prophesying falsehoods, to bring thyself upon the necks of ungodly transgressors, the day is come, even an end, in a season of iniquity. |

[30]Turn, rest not in this place wherein thou wert born: in thine own land will I judge thee. |

[31]And I will pour out my wrath upon thee, I will blow upon thee with the fire of my wrath, and I will deliver thee into the hands of barbarians skilled in working destruction. |
