[1]Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, came the word of the Lord unto me, saying, |

[2]Son of man, write thee the name of the day, even of this same day: for the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day. |
| [3]καίC εἶπονVB-AAD2S ἐπίP ὁRA-ASM οἶκοςN2-ASM ὁRA-ASM παραπικραίνωV1-PAPASM παραβολήN1-ASF καίC εἶπονVF2-FAI2S πρόςP αὐτόςRD-APM ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ἐπιἵστημιVA-AAD2S ὁRA-ASM λέβηςN3T-ASM καίC ἐκχέωVA-AAD2S εἰςP αὐτόςRD-ASM ὕδωρN3-ASN |
[3]Therefore speak a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God, Prepare a pot, prepare it, and also pour water into it. |

[4]Gather the pieces thereof into it, even every good piece, as the thigh and the shoulder, and fill it with the chief bones. |
| [5]ἐκP ἐπίλεκτοςA1B-GPN κτῆνοςN3E-GPN λαμβάνωVP-XMPGPN καίC ὑποκαίωV1-PAD2S ὁRA-APN ὀστέονN2N-APN ὑποκάτωP αὐτόςRD-GPN ζέωVAI-AAI3S ζέωVAI-AAI3S καίC ἅπτομαιVM-XMI3S ὁRA-NPN ὀστέονN2N-NPN αὐτόςRD-GSF ἐνP μέσοςA1-DSM αὐτόςRD-GSF |
[5]Take one of the best sheep, and burn also the bones under it, and make it boil well, and seethe the bones of it therein, |
| [6]διάP οὗτοςRD-ASN ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὦI πόλιςN3I-NSF αἷμαN3M-GPN λέβηςN3T-NSM ἐνP ὅςRR-DSM εἰμίV9-PAI3S ἰόςN2-NSM ἐνP αὐτόςRD-DSM καίC ὁRA-NSM ἰόςN2-NSM οὐD ἐκἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S ἐκP αὐτόςRD-GSF κατάP μέλοςN3E-ASN αὐτόςRD-GSF ἐκφέρωVAI-AAI3S οὐD πίπτωVAI-AAI3S ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-ASF κλῆροςN2-NSM |
[6]Because the Lord God saith thus, Woe to the bloody city, even to the pot, whose scum is therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it: bring it out piece by piece: let no lot fall upon it. |
| [7]ὅτιC αἷμαN3M-ASN αὐτόςRD-GSF ἐνP μέσοςA1-DSM αὐτόςRD-GSF εἰμίV9-PAI3S ἐπίP λεωπετρίαN1A-ASF τάσσωVX-XAI1S αὐτόςRD-ASN οὐD ἐκχέωVX-XAI1S αὐτόςRD-ASN ἐπίP ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF ὁRA-GSN καλύπτωVA-AAN ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-ASN γῆN1-ASF |
[7]For her blood is in the midst of her: she set it upon an high rock, and poured it not upon on the ground to cover it with dust, |
| [8]ὁRA-GSN ἀναβαίνωVZ-AAN θυμόςN2-ASM εἰςP ἐκδίκησιςN3I-ASF ἐκδικέωVC-APN δίδωμιVX-XAI1S ὁRA-ASN αἷμαN3M-ASN αὐτόςRD-GSF ἐπίP λεωπετρίαN1A-ASF ὁRA-GSN μήD καλύπτωVA-AAN αὐτόςRD-ASN |
[8]That it might cause wrath to arise, and take vengeance: even I have set her blood upon an high rock that it should not be covered. |
| [9]διάP οὗτοςRD-ASN ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM καΐἐγώC+RPNS μεγαλύνωVF-FAI1S ὁRA-ASM δαλόςN2-ASM |
[9]Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Woe to the bloody city, for I will make the burning great. |
| [10]καίC πληθύνωVF2-FAI1S ὁRA-APN ξύλονN2N-APN καίC ἀνακαίωVF-FAI1S ὁRA-ASN πῦρN3-ASN ὅπωςC τήκωV1-PAS3S ὁRA-APN κρέαςN3-APN καίC ἐλαττόωVC-APS3S ὁRA-NSM ζωμόςN2-NSM |
[10]Heap on much wood: kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and cast in spice, and let the bones be burned. |
| [11]καίC ἵστημιVH-AAS3S ἐπίP ὁRA-APM ἄνθραξN3K-APM ὅπωςC προςκαίωVC-APS3S καίC θερμαίνωVC-APS3S ὁRA-NSM χαλκόςN2-NSM αὐτόςRD-GSF καίC τήκωV1-PAS3S ἐνP μέσοςA1-DSM ἀκαθαρσίαN1A-GSF αὐτόςRD-GSF καίC ἐκλείπωVB-AAS3S ὁRA-NSM ἰόςN2-NSM αὐτόςRD-GSF |
[11]Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and that the filthiness of it may be molten in it, and that the scum of it may be consumed. |

[12]She hath wearied herself with lies, and her great scum went not out of her: therefore her scum shall be consumed with fire. |
| [13]ἀντίP ὅςRR-GPM μιαίνωV1I-IMI2S σύRP-NS καίC τίςRI-ASN ἐάνC μήD καθαρίζωVS-APS2S ἔτιD ἕωςP ὅςRR-GSM ἐνπίμπλημιVF-FAI1S ὁRA-ASM θυμόςN2-ASM ἐγώRP-GS |
[13]Thou remainest in thy filthiness and wickedness: because I would have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness, till I have caused my wrath to light upon thee. |

[14]I the Lord have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it: I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent: according to thy ways, and according to thy works shall they judge thee, saith the Lord God. |

[15]Also the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, |
| [16]υἱόςN2-VSM ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM ἰδούI ἐγώRP-NS λαμβάνωV1-PAI1S ἐκP σύRP-GS ὁRA-APN ἐπιθύμημαN3M-APN ὁRA-GPM ὀφθαλμόςN2-GPM σύRP-GS ἐνP παράταξιςN3I-DSF οὐD μήD κόπτωVD-APS2S οὐδέC μήD κλαίωVC-APS2S |
[16]Son of man behold, I take away from thee the pleasure of thine eyes with a plague: yet shalt thou neither mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears run down. |
| [17]στεναγμόςN2-NSM αἷμαN3M-GSN ὀσφύςN3U-GSF πένθοςN3E-GSN εἰμίV9-PAI3S οὐD εἰμίVF-FMI3S ὁRA-NSN τρίχωμαN3M-NSN σύRP-GS συνπλέκωVK-XMPNSN ἐπίP σύRP-AS καίC ὁRA-NPN ὑπόδημαN3M-NPN σύRP-GS ἐνP ὁRA-DPM πούςN3D-DPM σύRP-GS οὐD μήD παρακαλέωVC-APS2S ἐνP χεῖλοςN3E-DPN αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC ἄρτοςN2-ASM ἀνήρN3-GPM οὐD μήD ἐσθίωVB-AAS2S |
[17]Cease from sighing: make no mourning for the dead, and bind the tire of thine head upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover not thy lips, and eat not the bread of men. |
| [18]καίC λαλέωVAI-AAI1S πρόςP ὁRA-ASM λαόςN2-ASM ὁRA-ASN πρωΐD ὅςRR-ASM τρόποςN2-ASM ἐντέλλομαιVAI-AMI3S ἐγώRP-DS καίC ἀποθνήσκωVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSF γυνήN3K-NSF ἐγώRP-GS ἑσπέραN1A-GSF καίC ποιέωVAI-AAI1S ὁRA-ASN πρωΐD ὅςRR-ASM τρόποςN2-ASM ἐπιτάσσωVDI-API3S ἐγώRP-DS |
[18]So I spake unto the people in the morning, and at even my wife died: and I did in the morning, as I was commanded. |
| [19]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S πρόςP ἐγώRP-AS ὁRA-NSM λαόςN2-NSM οὐD ἀναἀγγέλλωVF2-FAI2S ἐγώRP-DP τίςRI-ASN εἰμίV9-PAI3S οὗτοςRD-NPN ὅςRR-APN σύRP-NS ποιέωV2-PAI2S |
[19]And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these things mean toward us that thou doest so? |
| [20]καίC εἶπονVAI-AAI1S πρόςP αὐτόςRD-APM λόγοςN2-NSM κύριοςN2-GSM πρόςP ἐγώRP-AS γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S λέγωV1-PAPNSM |
[20]Then I answered them, The word of the Lord came unto me, saying, |
| [21]εἶπονVB-AAD2S πρόςP ὁRA-ASM οἶκοςN2-ASM ὁRA-GSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ἰδούI ἐγώRP-NS βεβηλόωV4-PAI1S ὁRA-APN ἅγιοςA1A-APN ἐγώRP-GS φρύαγμαN3M-ASN ἰσχύςN3U-GSF σύRP-GP ἐπιθύμημαN3M-APN ὀφθαλμόςN2-GPM σύRP-GP καίC ὑπέρP ὅςRR-GPM φείδομαιV1-PMI3P ὁRA-NPF ψυχήN1-NPF σύRP-GP καίC ὁRA-NPM υἱόςN2-NPM σύRP-GP καίC ὁRA-NPF θυγάτηρN3-NPF σύRP-GP ὅςRR-APM ἐν καταλείπωVBI-AAI2P ἐνP ῥομφαίαN1A-DSF πίπτωVF2-FMI3P |
[21]Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I will pollute my sanctuary, even the pride of your power, the pleasure of your eyes, and your heart's desire, and your sons, and your daughters whom ye have left, shall fall by the sword. |
| [22]καίC ποιέωVF-FAI2P ὅςRR-ASM τρόποςN2-ASM ποιέωVX-XAI1S ἀπόP στόμαN3M-GSN αὐτόςRD-GPM οὐD παρακαλέωVC-FPI2P καίC ἄρτοςN2-ASM ἀνήρN3-GPM οὐD ἐσθίωVF-FMI2P |
[22]And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover your lips, neither shall ye eat the bread of men. |
| [23]καίC ὁRA-NPF κόμηN1-NPF σύRP-GP ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF κεφαλήN1-GSF σύRP-GP καίC ὁRA-NPN ὑπόδημαN3M-NPN σύRP-GP ἐνP ὁRA-DPM πούςN3D-DPM σύRP-GP οὔτεC μήD κόπτωVA-AMS2P οὔτεC μήD κλαίωVA-AAS2P καίC ἐντήκωVF-FMI2P ἐνP ὁRA-DPF ἀδικίαN1A-DPF σύRP-GP καίC παρακαλέωVF-FAI2P ἕκαστοςA1-NSM ὁRA-ASM ἀδελφόςN2-ASM αὐτόςRD-GSM |
[23]And your tire shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep, but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another. |
| [24]καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S *ιεζεκιηλN--NSM σύRP-DP εἰςP τέραςN3T-ASN κατάP πᾶςA3-APN ὅσοςA1-APN ποιέωVAI-AAI3S ποιέωVF-FAI2P ὅτανD ἔρχομαιVB-AAS3S οὗτοςRD-NPN καίC ἐπιγιγνώσκωVF-FMI2P διότιC ἐγώRP-NS κύριοςN2-NSM |
[24]Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath done, ye shall do: and when this cometh, ye shall know that I am the Lord God. |
| [25]καίC σύRP-NS υἱόςN2-VSM ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM οὐD ἐνP ὁRA-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSF ὅτανD λαμβάνωV1-PAI1S ὁRA-ASF ἰσχύςN3-ASF παράP αὐτόςRD-GPM ὁRA-ASF ἔπαρσιςN3I-ASF ὁRA-GSF καύχησιςN3I-GSF αὐτόςRD-GPM ὁRA-APN ἐπιθύμημαN3M-APN ὀφθαλμόςN2-GPM αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC ὁRA-ASF ἔπαρσιςN3I-ASF ψυχήN1-GSF αὐτόςRD-GPM υἱόςN2-APM αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC θυγάτηρN3-APF αὐτόςRD-GPM |
[25]Also, thou son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their power, the joy of their honor, the pleasure of their eyes, and the desire of their heart, their sons and their daughters? |

[26]That he that escapeth in that day, shall come unto thee to tell thee that which he hath heard with his ears? |
| [27]ἐνP ἐκεῖνοςRD-DSF ὁRA-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSF δια ἀναοἴγωVQ-FPI3S ὁRA-NSN στόμαN3M-NSN σύRP-GS πρόςP ὁRA-ASM ἀνασώζωV1-PPPASM καίC λαλέωVF-FAI2S καίC οὐD μήD ἀποκωφόωVC-APS2S οὐκέτιD καίC εἰμίVF-FMI2S αὐτόςRD-DPM εἰςP τέραςN3T-ASN καίC ἐπιγιγνώσκωVF-FMI3P διότιC ἐγώRP-NS κύριοςN2-NSM |
[27]In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb, and thou shalt be a sign unto them, and they shall know that I am the Lord. |
