[1]וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ |
| [2]SonH1121 of manH120, setH7760[H8798] thy faceH6440 against mountH2022 SeirH8165, and prophesyH5012 against itH8734, |
[2]בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם שִׂ֥ים פָּנֶ֖יךָ עַל־הַ֣ר שֵׂעִ֑יר וְהִנָּבֵ֖א עָלָֽיו׃ |
| [3]And sayH559[H8804] unto it, Thus saithH559[H8804] the LordH136 GODH3069; Behold, O mountH2022 SeirH8165, I am against thee, and I will stretch outH5186[H8804] mine handH3027 against thee, and I will makeH5414[H8804] thee mostH4923 desolateH8077. |
[3]וְאָמַ֣רְתָּ לֹּ֗ו כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה הִנְנִ֥י אֵלֶ֖יךָ הַר־שֵׂעִ֑יר וְנָטִ֤יתִי יָדִי֙ עָלֶ֔יךָ וּנְתַתִּ֖יךָ שְׁמָמָ֥ה וּמְשַׁמָּֽה׃ |
| [4]I will layH7760[H8799] thy citiesH5892 wasteH2723, and thou shalt be desolateH8077, and thou shalt knowH3045[H8804] that I am the LORDH3068. |
[4]עָרֶ֙יךָ֙ חָרְבָּ֣ה אָשִׂ֔ים וְאַתָּ֖ה שְׁמָמָ֣ה תִֽהְיֶ֑ה וְיָדַעְתָּ֖ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ |
| [5]Because thou hast had a perpetualH5769 hatredH342, and hast shedH5064[H8686] the blood of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 by the forceH3027 of the swordH2719 in the timeH6256 of their calamityH343, in the timeH6256 that their iniquityH5771 had an endH7093: |
[5]יַ֗עַן הֱיֹ֤ות לְךָ֙ אֵיבַ֣ת עֹולָ֔ם וַתַּגֵּ֥ר אֶת־בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל עַל־יְדֵי־חָ֑רֶב בְּעֵ֣ת אֵידָ֔ם בְּעֵ֖ת עֲוֹ֥ן קֵֽץ׃ |
| [6]Therefore, as I liveH2416, saithH5002[H8803] the LordH136 GODH3069, I will prepareH6213[H8799] thee unto bloodH1818, and bloodH1818 shall pursueH7291[H8799] thee: sithH518 thou hast not hatedH8130[H8804] bloodH1818, even bloodH1818 shall pursueH7291 theeH8799. |
[6]לָכֵ֣ן חַי־אָ֗נִי נְאֻם֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה כִּֽי־לְדָ֥ם אֶעֶשְׂךָ֖ וְדָ֣ם יִרְדֲּפֶ֑ךָ אִם־לֹ֥א דָ֛ם שָׂנֵ֖אתָ וְדָ֥ם יִרְדֲּפֶֽךָ׃ |
| [7]Thus will I makeH5414[H8804] mountH2022 SeirH8165 mostH8077 desolateH8077, and cut offH3772[H8689] from it him that passeth outH5674[H8802] and him that returnethH7725.[H8802] |
[7]וְנָֽתַתִּי֙ אֶת־הַ֣ר שֵׂעִ֔יר לְשִֽׁמְמָ֖ה וּשְׁמָמָ֑ה וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י מִמֶּ֖נּוּ עֹבֵ֥ר וָשָֽׁב׃ |
| [8]And I will fillH4390[H8765] his mountainsH2022 with his slainH2491 men: in thy hillsH1389, and in thy valleysH1516, and in all thy riversH650, shall they fallH5307[H8799] that are slainH2491 with the swordH2719. |
[8]וּמִלֵּאתִ֥י אֶת־הָרָ֖יו חֲלָלָ֑יו גִּבְעֹותֶ֤יךָ וְגֵאֹותֶ֙יךָ֙ וְכָל־אֲפִיקֶ֔יךָ חַלְלֵי־חֶ֖רֶב יִפְּל֥וּ בָהֶֽם׃ |
| [9]I will makeH5414[H8799] thee perpetualH5769 desolationsH8077, and thy citiesH5892 shall not returnH7725[H8799][H8675][H3427][H8799]: and ye shall knowH3045[H8804] that I am the LORDH3068. |
[9]שִֽׁמְמֹ֤ות עֹולָם֙ אֶתֶּנְךָ֔ וְעָרֶ֖יךָ לֹ֣א [תֵישַׁבְנָה כ] (תָשֹׁ֑בְנָה ק) וִֽידַעְתֶּ֖ם כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ |
| [10]Because thou hast saidH559[H8800], These twoH8147 nationsH1471 and these twoH8147 countriesH776 shall be mine, and we will possessH3423[H8804] it; whereas the LORD was thereH3068: |
[10]יַ֣עַן אֲ֠מָרְךָ אֶת־שְׁנֵ֨י הַגֹּויִ֜ם וְאֶת־שְׁתֵּ֧י הָאֲרָצֹ֛ות לִ֥י תִהְיֶ֖ינָה וִֽירַשְׁנ֑וּהָ וַֽיהוָ֖ה שָׁ֥ם הָיָֽה׃ |
| [11]Therefore, as I liveH2416, saithH5002[H8803] the LordH136 GODH3069, I will even doH6213[H8804] according to thine angerH639, and according to thine envyH7068 which thou hast usedH6213[H8804] out of thy hatredH8135 against them; and I will make myself knownH3045[H8738] among them, when I have judgedH8199 theeH8799. |
[11]לָכֵ֣ן חַי־אָ֗נִי נְאֻם֮ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִה֒ וְעָשִׂ֗יתִי כְּאַפְּךָ֙ וּכְקִנְאָ֣תְךָ֔ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשִׂ֔יתָה מִשִּׂנְאָתֶ֖יךָ בָּ֑ם וְנֹודַ֥עְתִּי בָ֖ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר אֶשְׁפְּטֶֽךָ׃ |
| [12]And thou shalt knowH3045[H8804] that I am the LORDH3068, and that I have heardH8085[H8804] all thy blasphemiesH5007 which thou hast spokenH559[H8804] against the mountainsH2022 of IsraelH3478, sayingH559[H8800], They are laid desolateH8074[H8804][H8675][H8077], they are givenH5414[H8738] us to consumeH402. |
[12]וְֽיָדַעְתָּ֮ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י יְהוָה֒ שָׁמַ֣עְתִּי ׀ אֶת־כָּל־נָאָֽצֹותֶ֗יךָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָמַ֛רְתָּ עַל־הָרֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֣ר ׀ [שָׁמֵמָה כ] (שָׁמֵ֑מוּ ק) לָ֥נוּ נִתְּנ֖וּ לְאָכְלָֽה׃ |
| [13]Thus with your mouthH6310 ye have boastedH1431[H8686] against me, and have multipliedH6280[H8689] your wordsH1697 against me: I have heardH8085 themH8804. |
[13]וַתַּגְדִּ֤ילוּ עָלַי֙ בְּפִיכֶ֔ם וְהַעְתַּרְתֶּ֥ם עָלַ֖י דִּבְרֵיכֶ֑ם אֲנִ֖י שָׁמָֽעְתִּי׃ |
| [14]Thus saithH559[H8804] the LordH136 GODH3069; When the whole earthH776 rejoicethH8055[H8800], I will makeH6213[H8799] thee desolateH8077. |
[14]כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה כִּשְׂמֹ֙חַ֙ כָּל־הָאָ֔רֶץ שְׁמָמָ֖ה אֶעֱשֶׂה־לָּֽךְ׃ |
| [15]As thou didst rejoiceH8057 at the inheritanceH5159 of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, because it was desolateH8074[H8804], so will I doH6213[H8799] unto thee: thou shalt be desolateH8077, O mountH2022 SeirH8165, and all IdumeaH123, even all of it: and they shall knowH3045[H8804] that I am the LORDH3068. |
[15]כְּשִׂמְחָ֨תְךָ֜ לְנַחְלַ֧ת בֵּֽית־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל עַ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־שָׁמֵ֖מָה כֵּ֣ן אֶעֱשֶׂה־לָּ֑ךְ שְׁמָמָ֨ה תִֽהְיֶ֤ה הַר־שֵׂעִיר֙ וְכָל־אֱדֹ֣ום כֻּלָּ֔הּ וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ |
