| [1]MOREOVER the word of the LORD came to me, saying, |
[1]ܘܲܗܘ̤ܵܐ ܥܠܲܝ ܦܸܬ̣ܓ̣ܸܵܡܹܗ ܕܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܠܡܹܐܡܲܪ. |
| [2]Son of man, set your face against mount Seir and prophesy against it, |
[2]ܒܲܪܢܵܫܵܐ: ܣܝܼܡ ܐܲܦܲܝ̈ܟ ܠܛܘܼܪܵܐ ܕܣܵܥܝܼܪ: ܘܐܸܬ̣ܢܲܒܵܐ ܥܠܵܘܗܝ. |
| [3]And say to it, Thus says the LORD God: Behold, I am against you, O mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you desolate and waste. |
[3]ܘܐܸܡܲܪ ܠܹܗ ܗܵܟܲܢܵܐ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܹܐ ܡܵܪ̈ܵܘܵܬ̣ܵܐ: ܗܵܐ ܐܸܢܵܐ ܥܠܲܝܟ ܛܘܼܪܵܐ ܕܣܵܥܝܼܪ: ܘܐܲܪܝܼܡ ܐܝܼܕܼܝ ܥܠܲܝܟ: ܘܐܸܥܒ̇ܕܼܵܟ ܠܲܚܒ̣ܵܠܵܐ ܘܲܠܬܸܡܗܵܐ. |
| [4]And I will lay your cities waste, and you shall be desolate, and you shall know that I am the LORD. |
[4]ܘܲܡܕܼܝܼ̈ܢܵܬ̣ܵܟ ܐܸܥܒܸ̇ܕܼ ܠܚܘܼܪܒܵܐ: ܘܐܲܢ̄ܬ̇ ܬܸܗܘܹܐ ܠܲܚܒ̣ܵܠܵܐ: ܘܬܸܕܲܥ ܕܐܸܢܵܐ ܐ̄ܢܵܐ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ. |
| [5]Because you have had a perpetual enmity and delivered the children of Israel over to the sword at the time of their calamity, at the time when their iniquity had come to an end, |
[5]ܥܲܠ ܕܲܗܘ̤ܵܬ̣ ܠܵܟ ܒܥܸܠܕ̇ܒ̣ܵܒ̣ܘܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܠܥܵܠܲܡ: ܘܐܲܫܠܸܡ̣ܬ̇ ܠܲܒ̣ܢܲܝ̈ ܝܑܼܣܪܵܝܹܠ ܠܐܝܼܕܼܵܐ ܕܣܲܝܦܵܐ ܒܙܲܒ̣ܢܵܐ ܕܥܵܩܲܬ̣ܗܘܿܢ: ܘܲܒ̣ܙܲܒ̣ܢܵܐ ܕܥܵܘܼܠܵܐ ܕܩܸܨܗܘܿܢ. |
| [6]Therefore, as I live, says the LORD God, I will deliver you to the slaughter, and blood shall pursue you; the blood which you have hated, that very blood shall pursue you. |
[6]ܡܸܛܠ ܗܵܢܵܐ ܚܲܝ ܐ̄ܢܵܐ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܹܐ ܡܵܪ̈ܵܘܵܬ̣ܵܐ: ܕܠܲܕܼܡܵܐ ܐܸܥܒ̇ܕܼܵܟ: ܘܲܕܼܡܵܐ ܢܸܪܕ̇ܦܵܟ: ܕܡܵܐ ܕܲܣܢܲܝܬ̇: ܗ̤ܘ ܕܡܵܐ ܢܸܪܕ̇ܦܵܟ. |
| [7]I will make mount Seir waste and desolate, and destroy from it him that goes out and him that comes in. |
[7]ܘܐܸܥܒ̇ܕܼܝܼܘܗܝ ܠܛܘܼܪܵܐ ܕܣܵܥܝܼܪ ܠܲܚܒ̣ܵܠܵܐ ܘܲܠܬܸܡܗܵܐ: ܘܐܵܘܒܸ̇ܕܼ ܡܸܢܹܗ ܕܥܵܒܲܪ ܘܲܕ̇ܬ̣ܵܐܹܒ̣. |
| [8]And I will fill his mountains with his slain; on your crags and on your hills and in your valleys shall they fall that are slain with the sword. |
[8]ܘܐܸܡܠܹܐ ܛܘܼܪ̈ܵܘܗܝ ܡ̣ܢ ܚܪ̈ܝܼܒ̣ܵܘܗܝ: ܫܩܝܼܦܲܝ̈ܟ ܘܪ̈ܵܡܵܬ̣ܵܟ ܘܢܲܚܠܲܝ̈ܟ: ܚܪ̈ܝܼܒܹܐ ܕܣܲܝܦܵܐ ܢܸܦܠܘܼܢ ܒܗܘܿܢ. |
| [9]I will make you a perpetual desolation, and your cities shall not be inhabited; and you shall know that I am the LORD |
[9]ܘܐܸܥܒ̇ܕܵܟ ܚܘܼܪܒܵܐ ܠܥܵܠܲܡ: ܘܲܡܕܼܝܼ̈ܢܵܬ̣ܵܟ ܠܵܐ ܢܸܬ̣̈ܝܲܬ̇ܒ̣ܵܢ: ܘܬܸܕܲܥ ܕܐܸܢܵܐ ܐ̄ܢܵܐ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ. |
| [10]Because you have said, These two nations and these two kingdoms are mine, and we will possess them, though the LORD was there; |
[10]ܥܲܠ ܕܐܸܡܪܬ̇ ܕܲܬ̣ܪܹܝܢ ܥܲܡܡ̈ܝܼܢ ܘܬܲܪܬܹ̇ܝܢ ܡܲܠ̈ܟ̇ܘܵܢ ܕܝܼܠܝ ܐܸܢܹܝܢ: ܘܐܸܢܵܐ ܐܹܪܲܬ̣ ܐܸܢܹܝܢ: ܘܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܬܲܡܵܢ ܗ̄ܘܼܵܐ. |
| [11]Therefore, as I live, says the LORD God, I will do to you according to your own anger and according to your enmity which you showed toward them, and hatred to them; and I will make myself known among them when I have judged you. |
[11]ܡܸܛܠ ܗܵܢܵܐ ܚܲܝ ܐ̄ܢܵܐ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܹܐ ܡܵܪ̈ܵܘܵܬ̣ܵܐ: ܕܐܸܥܒܲܕܼ ܠܵܟ ܐܲܝܟ ܪܘܼܓ̣ܙܵܟ: ܘܐܲܝܟ ܒܥܸܠܕ̇ܒ̣ܵܒ̣ܘܼܬ̣ܵܟ ܕܲܥܒܲܕ̇ܬ̇ ܘܲܣܢܲܝܬ̇ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ: ܘܐܸܬ̣ܓ̇ܠܹܐ ܒܗܘܿܢ ܡܵܐ ܕܕܼܵܐܹ̇ܢ ܐ̄ܢܵܐ ܠܵܟ. |
| [12]And you shall know that I am the LORD and that I have heard all your blasphemies which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume. |
[12]ܘܬܸܕܲܥ ܕܐܸܢܵܐ ܐ̄ܢܵܐ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ: ܫܸܡ̇ܥܹܬ̣ ܟܠܹܗ ܓܘܼܕܵܦܵܟ: ܕܐܸܡܲܪܬ̇ ܥܲܠ ܛܘܼܪܹ̈ܐ ܕܝܼܣܪܵܝܹܠ: ܕܚܲܪܒ̇ܝܼܢ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ: ܘܡܹܐܟ̣ܘܼܠܬܵܐ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ ܕܝܼܠܲܢ. |
| [13]Thus you dared to speak against me with your mouth, and have multiplied your words against me; I heard them. |
[13]ܘܐܵܘܪܸܟ̣ܬ̇ܘܼܢ ܥܠܲܝ ܦܘܼܡܟ̣ܘܿܢ: ܘܐܲܣܓ̇ܝܼܬ̇ܘܼܢ ܥܠܲܝ ܡܸܠܲܝ̈ܟ̇ܘܿܢ: ܘܐܸܢܵܐ ܫܸܡ̇ܥܹܬ̣. |
| [14]Thus says the LORD God to mount Seir which is situated at the happiest place on the earth: I will make you desolate. |
[14]ܗܵܟܲܢܵܐ ܐܵܡܲܪ ܡܵܪܹܐ ܡܵܪ̈ܵܘܵܬ̣ܵܐ: ܠܛܘܼܪܵܐ ܕܣܵܥܲܪ ܕܲܫܪܸܐ ܒܚܲܕܼܘܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܟ̣ܠܵܗ̇ ܐܲܪܥܵܐ: ܠܲܚܒ̣ܵܠܵܐ ܐܸܥܒ̇ܕܼܵܟ. |
| [15]As you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel because it was desolate, so will I do to you; you shall be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Edom, even all of it; and they shall know that I am the LORD |
[15]ܥܲܠ ܕܲܚ̣ܕܼܝܼܬ̇ ܠܝܵܪܬܘܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܒܹܝܬ̣ ܝܑܼܣܪܵܝܹܠ ܕܚܸܪܒܲܬ̤: ܗܵܟܲܢܵܐ ܐܸܥܒܸ̇ܕܼ ܠܵܟ: ܠܲܚܒ̣ܵܠܵܐ ܬܸܗܘܹܐ ܛܘܼܪܵܐ ܕܣܵܥܝܼܪ: ܘܐܲܕܼܘܿܡ ܟܠܵܗ̇: ܘܢܸܕ̇ܥܘܼܢ ܕܐܸܢܵܐ ܐ̄ܢܵܐ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ. |
