| [1]Afterward he brought me againH7725[H8686] unto the doorH6607 of the houseH1004; and, behold, watersH4325 issued outH3318[H8802] from under the thresholdH4670 of the houseH1004 eastwardH6921: for the forefrontH6440 of the houseH1004 stood toward the eastH6921, and the watersH4325 came downH3381[H8802] from under from the rightH3233 sideH3802 of the houseH1004, at the southH5045 side of the altarH4196. |
[1]וַיְשִׁבֵנִי֮ אֶל־פֶּ֣תַח הַבַּיִת֒ וְהִנֵּה־מַ֣יִם יֹצְאִ֗ים מִתַּ֨חַת מִפְתַּ֤ן הַבַּ֙יִת֙ קָדִ֔ימָה כִּֽי־פְנֵ֥י הַבַּ֖יִת קָדִ֑ים וְהַמַּ֣יִם יֹרְדִ֗ים מִתַּ֜חַת מִכֶּ֤תֶף הַבַּ֙יִת֙ הַיְמָנִ֔ית מִנֶּ֖גֶב לַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃ |
| [2]Then brought he me outH3318[H8686] of the wayH1870 of the gateH8179 northwardH6828, and led me aboutH5437[H8686] the wayH1870 without unto the utterH2351 gateH8179 by the wayH1870 that lookethH6437[H8802] eastwardH6921; and, behold, there ran outH6379[H8764] watersH4325 on the rightH3233 sideH3802. |
[2]וַיֹּוצִאֵנִי֮ דֶּֽרֶךְ־שַׁ֣עַר צָפֹונָה֒ וַיְסִבֵּ֙נִי֙ דֶּ֣רֶךְ ח֔וּץ אֶל־שַׁ֣עַר הַח֔וּץ דֶּ֖רֶךְ הַפֹּונֶ֣ה קָדִ֑ים וְהִנֵּה־מַ֣יִם מְפַכִּ֔ים מִן־הַכָּתֵ֖ף הַיְמָנִֽית׃ |
| [3]And when the manH376 that had the lineH6957 in his handH3027 went forthH3318[H8800] eastwardH6921, he measuredH4058[H8799] a thousandH505 cubitsH520, and he brought me throughH5674[H8686] the watersH4325; the watersH4325 were to the anklesH657. |
[3]בְּצֵאת־הָאִ֥ישׁ קָדִ֖ים וְקָ֣ו בְּיָדֹ֑ו וַיָּ֤מָד אֶ֙לֶף֙ בָּֽאַמָּ֔ה וַיַּעֲבִרֵ֥נִי בַמַּ֖יִם מֵ֥י אָפְסָֽיִם׃ |
| [4]Again he measuredH4058[H8799] a thousandH505, and brought me throughH5674[H8686] the watersH4325; the watersH4325 were to the kneesH1290. Again he measuredH4058[H8799] a thousandH505, and brought me throughH5674[H8686]; the watersH4325 were to the loinsH4975. |
[4]וַיָּ֣מָד אֶ֔לֶף וַיַּעֲבִרֵ֥נִי בַמַּ֖יִם מַ֣יִם בִּרְכָּ֑יִם וַיָּ֣מָד אֶ֔לֶף וַיַּעֲבִרֵ֖נִי מֵ֥י מָתְנָֽיִם׃ |
| [5]Afterward he measuredH4058[H8799] a thousandH505; and it was a riverH5158 that I couldH3201[H8799] not pass overH5674[H8800]: for the watersH4325 were risenH1342[H8804], watersH4325 to swim inH7813, a riverH5158 that could not be passed overH5674.[H8735] |
[5]וַיָּ֣מָד אֶ֔לֶף נַ֕חַל אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־אוּכַ֖ל לַעֲבֹ֑ר כִּֽי־גָא֤וּ הַמַּ֙יִם֙ מֵ֣י שָׂ֔חוּ נַ֖חַל אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־יֵעָבֵֽר׃ |
| [6]And he saidH559[H8799] unto me, SonH1121 of manH120, hast thou seenH7200[H8804] this? Then he broughtH3212[H8686] me, and caused me to returnH7725[H8686] to the brinkH8193 of the riverH5158. |
[6]וַיֹּ֥אמֶר אֵלַ֖י הֲרָאִ֣יתָ בֶן־אָדָ֑ם וַיֹּולִכֵ֥נִי וַיְשִׁבֵ֖נִי שְׂפַ֥ת הַנָּֽחַל׃ |
| [7]Now when I had returnedH7725[H8800], behold, at the bankH8193 of the riverH5158 were veryH3966 manyH7227 trees on the one side and on the otherH6086. |
[7]בְּשׁוּבֵ֕נִי וְהִנֵּה֙ אֶל־שְׂפַ֣ת הַנַּ֔חַל עֵ֖ץ רַ֣ב מְאֹ֑ד מִזֶּ֖ה וּמִזֶּֽה׃ |
| [8]Then saidH559[H8799] he unto me, These watersH4325 issue outH3318[H8802] toward the eastH6930 countryH1552, and go downH3381[H8804] into the desertH6160, and goH935[H8804] into the seaH3220: which being brought forthH3318[H8716] into the seaH3220, the watersH4325 shall be healedH7495.[H8738] |
[8]וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֗י הַמַּ֤יִם הָאֵ֙לֶּה֙ יֹוצְאִ֗ים אֶל־הַגְּלִילָה֙ הַקַּדְמֹונָ֔ה וְיָרְד֖וּ עַל־הָֽעֲרָבָ֑ה וּבָ֣אוּ הַיָּ֔מָּה אֶל־הַיָּ֥מָּה הַמּֽוּצָאִ֖ים [וְנִרְפְּאוּ כ] (וְנִרְפּ֥וּ ק) הַמָּֽיִם׃ |
| [9]And it shall come to pass, that every thingH5315 that livethH2416, which movethH8317[H8799], whithersoever the riversH5158 shall comeH935[H8799], shall liveH2421[H8799]: and there shall be a veryH3966 greatH7227 multitude of fishH1710, because these watersH4325 shall comeH935[H8804] thither: for they shall be healedH7495[H8735]; and every thing shall liveH2425[H8804] whither the riverH5158 comethH935.[H8799] |
[9]וְהָיָ֣ה כָל־נֶ֣פֶשׁ חַיָּ֣ה ׀ אֲֽשֶׁר־יִשְׁרֹ֡ץ אֶ֣ל כָּל־אֲשֶׁר֩ יָבֹ֨וא שָׁ֤ם נַחֲלַ֙יִם֙ יִֽחְיֶ֔ה וְהָיָ֥ה הַדָּגָ֖ה רַבָּ֣ה מְאֹ֑ד כִּי֩ בָ֨אוּ שָׁ֜מָּה הַמַּ֣יִם הָאֵ֗לֶּה וְיֵרָֽפְאוּ֙ וָחָ֔י כֹּ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־יָ֥בֹוא שָׁ֖מָּה הַנָּֽחַל׃ |
| [10]And it shall come to pass, that the fishersH1728 shall standH5975[H8804][H8675][H5975][H8799] upon it from EngediH5872 even unto EneglaimH5882; they shall be a place to spread forthH4894 netsH2764; their fishH1710 shall be according to their kindsH4327, as the fishH1710 of the greatH1419 seaH3220, exceedingH3966 manyH7227. |
[10]וְהָיָה֩ [יַעַמְדוּ כ] (עָמְד֨וּ ק) עָלָ֜יו דַּוָּגִ֗ים מֵעֵ֥ין גֶּ֙דִי֙ וְעַד־עֵ֣ין עֶגְלַ֔יִם מִשְׁטֹ֥וחַ לַֽחֲרָמִ֖ים יִהְי֑וּ לְמִינָה֙ תִּהְיֶ֣ה דְגָתָ֔ם כִּדְגַ֛ת הַיָּ֥ם הַגָּדֹ֖ול רַבָּ֥ה מְאֹֽד׃ |
| [11]But the miry placesH1207 thereof and the marishesH1360 thereof shall not be healedH7495[H8735]; they shall be givenH5414[H8738] to saltH4417. |
[11][בִּצֹּאתֹו כ] (בִּצֹּאתָ֧יו ק) וּגְבָאָ֛יו וְלֹ֥א יֵרָפְא֖וּ לְמֶ֥לַח נִתָּֽנוּ׃ |
| [12]And by the riverH5158 upon the bankH8193 thereof, on this side and on that side, shall growH5927[H8799] all treesH6086 for meatH3978, whose leafH5929 shall not fadeH5034[H8799], neither shall the fruitH6529 thereof be consumedH8552[H8799]: it shall bring forth new fruitH1069[H8762] according to his monthsH2320, because their watersH4325 they issued outH3318[H8802] of the sanctuaryH4720: and the fruitH6529 thereof shall be for meatH3978, and the leafH5929 thereof for medicineH8644. |
[12]וְעַל־הַנַּ֣חַל יַעֲלֶ֣ה עַל־שְׂפָתֹ֣ו מִזֶּ֣ה ׀ וּמִזֶּ֣ה ׀ כָּל־עֵֽץ־מַ֠אֲכָל לֹא־יִבֹּ֨ול עָלֵ֜הוּ וְלֹֽא־יִתֹּ֣ם פִּרְיֹ֗ו לָֽחֳדָשָׁיו֙ יְבַכֵּ֔ר כִּ֣י מֵימָ֔יו מִן־הַמִּקְדָּ֖שׁ הֵ֣מָּה יֹֽוצְאִ֑ים [וְהָיוּ כ] (וְהָיָ֤ה ק) פִרְיֹו֙ לְמַֽאֲכָ֔ל וְעָלֵ֖הוּ לִתְרוּפָֽה׃ |
| [13]Thus saithH559[H8804] the LordH136 GODH3069; ThisH1454 shall be the borderH1366, whereby ye shall inheritH5157[H8691] the landH776 according to the twelveH8147[H6240] tribesH7626 of IsraelH3478: JosephH3130 shall have two portionsH2256. |
[13]כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה גֵּ֤ה גְבוּל֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּתְנַחֲל֣וּ אֶת־הָאָ֔רֶץ לִשְׁנֵ֥י עָשָׂ֖ר שִׁבְטֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל יֹוסֵ֖ף חֲבָלִֽים׃ |
| [14]And ye shall inheritH5157[H8804] it, oneH376 as well as anotherH251: concerning the which I lifted upH5375[H8804] mine handH3027 to giveH5414[H8800] it unto your fathersH1: and this landH776 shall fallH5307[H8804] unto you for inheritanceH5159. |
[14]וּנְחַלְתֶּ֤ם אֹותָהּ֙ אִ֣ישׁ כְּאָחִ֔יו אֲשֶׁ֤ר נָשָׂ֙אתִי֙ אֶת־יָדִ֔י לְתִתָּ֖הּ לַאֲבֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם וְנָ֨פְלָ֜ה הָאָ֧רֶץ הַזֹּ֛את לָכֶ֖ם בְּנַחֲלָֽה׃ |
| [15]And this shall be the borderH1366 of the landH776 toward the northH6828 sideH6285, from the greatH1419 seaH3220, the wayH1870 of HethlonH2855, as men goH935[H8800] to ZedadH6657; |
[15]וְזֶ֖ה גְּב֣וּל הָאָ֑רֶץ לִפְאַ֨ת צָפֹ֜ונָה מִן־הַיָּ֧ם הַגָּדֹ֛ול הַדֶּ֥רֶךְ חֶתְלֹ֖ן לְבֹ֥וא צְדָֽדָה׃ |
| [16]HamathH2574, BerothahH1268, SibraimH5453, which is between the borderH1366 of DamascusH1834 and the borderH1366 of HamathH2574; HazarhatticonH2694, which is by the coastH1366 of HauranH2362. |
[16]חֲמָ֤ת ׀ בֵּרֹ֙ותָה֙ סִבְרַ֔יִם אֲשֶׁר֙ בֵּין־גְּב֣וּל דַּמֶּ֔שֶׂק וּבֵ֖ין גְּב֣וּל חֲמָ֑ת חָצֵר֙ הַתִּיכֹ֔ון אֲשֶׁ֖ר אֶל־גְּב֥וּל חַוְרָֽן׃ |
| [17]And the borderH1366 from the seaH3220 shall be HazarenanH2703, the borderH1366 of DamascusH1834, and the northH6828 northwardH6828, and the borderH1366 of HamathH2574. And this is the northH6828 sideH6285. |
[17]וְהָיָ֨ה גְב֜וּל מִן־הַיָּ֗ם חֲצַ֤ר עֵינֹון֙ גְּב֣וּל דַּמֶּ֔שֶׂק וְצָפֹ֥ון ׀ צָפֹ֖ונָה וּגְב֣וּל חֲמָ֑ת וְאֵ֖ת פְּאַ֥ת צָפֹֽון׃ |
| [18]And the eastH6921 sideH6285 ye shall measureH4058[H8799] fromH996 HauranH2362, and fromH996 DamascusH1834, and fromH996 GileadH1568, and fromH996 the landH776 of IsraelH3478 by JordanH3383, from the borderH1366 unto the eastH6931 seaH3220. And this is the eastH6921 sideH6285. |
[18]וּפְאַ֣ת קָדִ֡ים מִבֵּ֣ין חַוְרָ֣ן וּמִבֵּין־דַּמֶּשֶׂק֩ וּמִבֵּ֨ין הַגִּלְעָ֜ד וּמִבֵּ֨ין אֶ֤רֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ הַיַּרְדֵּ֔ן מִגְּב֛וּל עַל־הַיָּ֥ם הַקַּדְמֹונִ֖י תָּמֹ֑דּוּ וְאֵ֖ת פְּאַ֥ת קָדִֽימָה׃ |
| [19]And the southH5045 sideH6285 southwardH8486, from TamarH8559 even to the watersH4325 of strifeH4808[H8677][H4809] in KadeshH6946, the riverH5158 to the greatH1419 seaH3220. And this is the southH8486 sideH6285 southwardH5045. |
[19]וּפְאַת֙ נֶ֣גֶב תֵּימָ֔נָה מִתָּמָ֗ר עַד־מֵי֙ מְרִיבֹ֣ות קָדֵ֔שׁ נַחֲלָ֖ה אֶל־הַיָּ֣ם הַגָּדֹ֑ול וְאֵ֥ת פְּאַת־תֵּימָ֖נָה נֶֽגְבָּה׃ |
| [20]The westH3220 sideH6285 also shall be the greatH1419 seaH3220 from the borderH1366, till a man comeH935[H8800] over againstH5227 HamathH2574. This is the westH3220 sideH6285. |
[20]וּפְאַת־יָם֙ הַיָּ֣ם הַגָּדֹ֔ול מִגְּב֕וּל עַד־נֹ֖כַח לְבֹ֣וא חֲמָ֑ת זֹ֖את פְּאַת־יָֽם׃ |
| [21]So shall ye divideH2505[H8765] this landH776 unto you according to the tribesH7626 of IsraelH3478. |
[21]וְחִלַּקְתֶּ֞ם אֶת־הָאָ֧רֶץ הַזֹּ֛את לָכֶ֖ם לְשִׁבְטֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ |
| [22]And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divideH5307[H8686] it by lot for an inheritanceH5159 unto you, and to the strangersH1616 that sojournH1481[H8802] amongH8432 you, which shall begetH3205[H8689] childrenH1121 amongH8432 you: and they shall be unto you as bornH249 in the countryH249 among the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478; they shall haveH5307[H8799] inheritanceH5159 with you amongH8432 the tribesH7626 of IsraelH3478. |
[22]וְהָיָ֗ה תַּפִּ֣לוּ אֹותָהּ֮ בְּנַחֲלָה֒ לָכֶ֗ם וּלְהַגֵּרִים֙ הַגָּרִ֣ים בְּתֹוכְכֶ֔ם אֲשֶׁר־הֹולִ֥דוּ בָנִ֖ים בְּתֹֽוכְכֶ֑ם וְהָי֣וּ לָכֶ֗ם כְּאֶזְרָח֙ בִּבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אִתְּכֶם֙ יִפְּל֣וּ בְנַחֲלָ֔ה בְּתֹ֖וךְ שִׁבְטֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ |
| [23]And it shall come to pass, that in what tribeH7626 the strangerH1616 sojournethH1481[H8804], there shall ye giveH5414[H8799] him his inheritanceH5159, saithH5002[H8803] the LordH136 GODH3069. |
[23]וְהָיָ֣ה בַשֵּׁ֔בֶט אֲשֶׁר־גָּ֥ר הַגֵּ֖ר אִתֹּ֑ו ם תִּתְּנ֣וּ נַחֲלָתֹ֔ו נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃ |
