| [2]שלשית באור תבעיר בתוך העיר כמלאת ימי המצור ולקחת את השלשית תכה בחרב סביבותיה והשלשית תזרה לרוח וחרב אריק אחריהם |
[2]Thou shalt burnH1197[H8686] with fireH217 a third partH7992 in the midstH8432 of the cityH5892, when the daysH3117 of the siegeH4692 are fulfilledH4390[H8800]: and thou shalt takeH3947[H8804] a third partH7992, and smiteH5221[H8686] aboutH5439 it with a knifeH2719: and a third partH7992 thou shalt scatterH2219[H8799] in the windH7307; and I will draw outH7324[H8686] a swordH2719 after themH310. |
| [3]ולקחת משם מעט במספר וצרת אותם בכנפיך |
[3]Thou shalt also takeH3947[H8804] thereof a fewH4592 in numberH4557, and bindH6696[H8804] them in thy skirtsH3671. |
| [4]ומהם עוד תקח והשלכת אותם אל תוך האש ושרפת אתם באש ממנו תצא אש אל כל בית ישראל |
[4]Then take of them againH3947[H8799], and castH7993[H8689] them into the midstH8432 of the fireH784, and burnH8313[H8804] them in the fireH784; for thereof shall a fireH784 come forthH3318[H8799] into all the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478. |
| [5]כה אמר אדני יהוה זאת ירושלם בתוך הגוים שמתיה וסביבותיה ארצות |
[5]Thus saithH559[H8804] the LordH136 GODH3069; This is JerusalemH3389: I have setH7760[H8804] it in the midstH8432 of the nationsH1471 and countriesH776 that are round about herH5439. |
| [6]ותמר את משפטי לרשעה מן הגוים ואת חקותי מן הארצות אשר סביבותיה כי במשפטי מאסו וחקותי לא הלכו בהם |
[6]And she hath changedH4784[H8686] my judgmentsH4941 into wickednessH7564 more than the nationsH1471, and my statutesH2708 more than the countriesH776 that are round aboutH5439 her: for they have refusedH3988[H8804] my judgmentsH4941 and my statutesH2708, they have not walkedH1980 in themH8804. |
| [7]לכן כה אמר אדני יהוה יען המנכם מן הגוים אשר סביבותיכם בחקותי לא הלכתם ואת משפטי לא עשיתם וכמשפטי הגוים אשר סביבותיכם לא עשיתם |
[7]Therefore thus saithH559[H8804] the LordH136 GODH3069; Because ye multipliedH1995[H8800] more than the nationsH1471 that are round aboutH5439 you, and have not walkedH1980[H8804] in my statutesH2708, neither have keptH6213[H8804] my judgmentsH4941, neither have doneH6213[H8804] according to the judgmentsH4941 of the nationsH1471 that are round about youH5439; |
| [8]לכן כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני עליך גם אני ועשיתי בתוכך משפטים לעיני הגוים |
[8]Therefore thus saithH559[H8804] the LordH136 GODH3069; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will executeH6213[H8804] judgmentsH4941 in the midstH8432 of thee in the sightH5869 of the nationsH1471. |
| [9]ועשיתי בך את אשר לא עשיתי ואת אשר לא אעשה כמהו עוד־יען כל תועבתיך |
[9]And I will doH6213[H8804] in thee that which I have not doneH6213[H8804], and whereunto I will not doH6213[H8799] any more the like, becauseH3282 of all thine abominationsH8441. |
| [10]לכן אבות יאכלו בנים בתוכך ובנים יאכלו אבותם ועשיתי בך שפטים וזריתי את כל שאריתך לכל רוח |
[10]Therefore the fathersH1 shall eatH398[H8799] the sonsH1121 in the midstH8432 of thee, and the sonsH1121 shall eatH398[H8799] their fathersH1; and I will executeH6213[H8804] judgmentsH8201 in thee, and the whole remnantH7611 of thee will I scatterH2219[H8765] into all the windsH7307. |
| [11]לכן חי אני נאם אדני יהוה אם לא יען את מקדשי טמאת בכל שקוציך ובכל תועבתיך וגם אני אגרע ולא תחוס עיני וגם אני לא אחמול |
[11]Wherefore, as I liveH2416, saithH5002[H8803] the LordH136 GODH3069; Surely, because thou hast defiledH2930[H8765] my sanctuaryH4720 with all thy detestable thingsH8251, and with all thine abominationsH8441, therefore will I also diminishH1639[H8799] thee; neither shall mine eyeH5869 spareH2347[H8799], neither will I have any pityH2550.[H8799] |
| [12]שלשתיך בדבר ימותו וברעב יכלו בתוכך והשלשית בחרב יפלו סביבותיך והשלישית לכל רוח אזרה וחרב אריק אחריהם |
[12]A third partH7992 of thee shall dieH4191[H8799] with the pestilenceH1698, and with famineH7458 shall they be consumedH3615[H8799] in the midstH8432 of thee: and a third partH7992 shall fallH5307[H8799] by the swordH2719 round aboutH5439 thee; and I will scatterH2219[H8762] a third partH7992 into all the windsH7307, and I will draw outH7324[H8686] a swordH2719 after themH310. |
| [13]וכלה אפי והנחותי חמתי בם־והנחמתי וידעו כי אני יהוה דברתי בקנאתי בכלותי חמתי בם |
[13]Thus shall mine angerH639 be accomplishedH3615[H8804], and I will cause my furyH2534 to restH5117[H8689] upon them, and I will be comfortedH5162[H8694]: and they shall knowH3045[H8804] that I the LORDH3068 have spokenH1696[H8765] it in my zealH7068, when I have accomplishedH3615[H8763] my fury in themH2534. |
| [14]ואתנך לחרבה ולחרפה בגוים אשר סביבותיך לעיני כל עובר |
[14]Moreover I will makeH5414[H8799] thee wasteH2723, and a reproachH2781 among the nationsH1471 that are round aboutH5439 thee, in the sightH5869 of all that pass byH5674.[H8802] |
| [15]והיתה חרפה וגדופה מוסר ומשמה לגוים אשר סביבותיך בעשותי בך שפטים באף ובחמה ובתכחות חמה־אני יהוה דברתי |
[15]So it shall be a reproachH2781 and a tauntH1422, an instructionH4148 and an astonishmentH4923 unto the nationsH1471 that are round aboutH5439 thee, when I shall executeH6213[H8800] judgmentsH8201 in thee in angerH639 and in furyH2534 and in furiousH2534 rebukesH8433. I the LORDH3068 have spokenH1696 itH8765. |
| [16]בשלחי את חצי הרעב הרעים בהם אשר היו למשחית אשר אשלח אותם לשחתכם־ורעב אסף עליכם ושברתי לכם מטה לחם |
[16]When I shall sendH7971[H8762] upon them the evilH7451 arrowsH2671 of famineH7458, which shall be for their destructionH4889, and which I will sendH7971[H8763] to destroyH7843[H8763] you: and I will increaseH3254[H8686] the famineH7458 upon you, and will breakH7665[H8804] your staffH4294 of breadH3899: |
| [17]ושלחתי עליכם רעב וחיה רעה ושכלך ודבר ודם יעבר בך וחרב אביא עליך אני יהוה דברתי |
[17]So will I sendH7971[H8765] upon you famineH7458 and evilH7451 beastsH2416, and they shall bereaveH7921[H8765] thee; and pestilenceH1698 and bloodH1818 shall pass throughH5674[H8799] thee; and I will bringH935[H8686] the swordH2719 upon thee. I the LORDH3068 have spokenH1696 itH8765. |
