[1]Moreover the word of 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 came unto me, saying: |
| [2]καίC σύRP-NS υἱόςN2-VSM ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM εἶπονVB-AAD2S ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-DSF γῆN1-DSF ὁRA-GSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM πέραςN3T-NSN ἥκωV1-PAI3S ὁRA-NSN πέραςN3T-NSN ἥκωV1-PAI3S ἐπίP ὁRA-APF τέσσαρεςA3-APF πτέρυξN3G-APF ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF |
[2]'And thou, son of man, thus saith the Lord 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 concerning the land of Israel: An end! the end is come upon the four corners of the land. |
| [3]ἥκωV1-PAI3S ὁRA-NSN πέραςN3T-NSN |
[3]Now is the end upon thee, and I will send Mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways; and I will bring upon thee all thine abominations. |
| [4]ἐπίP σύRP-AS ὁRA-ASM καταοἰκέωV2-PAPASM ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF ἥκωV1-PAI3S ὁRA-NSM καιρόςN2-NSM ἐγγίζωVX-XAI3S ὁRA-NSF ἡμέραN1A-NSF οὐD μετάP θορύβοςN2-GPM οὐδέC μετάP ὠδίνN3-GPF |
[4]And Mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity; but I will bring thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇. |
| [5]νῦνD ἐγγύθενD ἐκχέωVF2-FAI1S ὁRA-ASF ὀργήN1-ASF ἐγώRP-GS ἐπίP σύRP-AS καίC συντελέωVF-FAI1S ὁRA-ASM θυμόςN2-ASM ἐγώRP-GS ἐνP σύRP-DS καίC κρίνωVF2-FAI1S σύRP-AS ἐνP ὁRA-DPF ὁδόςN2-DPF σύRP-GS καίC δίδωμιVF-FAI1S ἐπίP σύRP-AS πᾶςA3-APN ὁRA-APN βδέλυγμαN3M-APN σύRP-GS |
[5]Thus saith the Lord 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇: An evil, a singular evil, behold, it cometh. |
| [6]οὐD φείδομαιVF-FMI3S ὁRA-NSM ὀφθαλμόςN2-NSM ἐγώRP-GS οὐδέC μήD ἐλεέωVF-FAI1S διότιC ὁRA-APF ὁδόςN2-APF σύRP-GS ἐπίP σύRP-AS δίδωμιVF-FAI1S καίC ὁRA-APN βδέλυγμαN3M-APN σύRP-GS ἐνP μέσοςA1-DSN σύRP-GS εἰμίVF-FMI3P καίC ἐπιγιγνώσκωVF-FMI2S διότιC ἐγώRP-NS εἰμίV9-PAI1S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-NSM τύπτωV1-PAPNSM |
[6]An end is come, the end is come, it awaketh against thee; behold, it cometh. |
| [7]νῦνD ὁRA-NSN πέραςN3T-NSN πρόςP σύRP-AS καίC ἀποστέλλωVF2-FAI1S ἐγώRP-NS ἐπίP σύRP-AS καίC ἐκδικέωVF-FAI1S σύRP-AS ἐνP ὁRA-DPF ὁδόςN2-DPF σύRP-GS καίC δίδωμιVF-FAI1S ἐπίP σύRP-AS πᾶςA3-APN ὁRA-APN βδέλυγμαN3M-APN σύRP-GS |
[7]The turn is come unto thee, O inhabitant of the land; the time is come, the day of tumult is near, and not of joyful shouting upon the mountains. |
| [8]οὐD φείδομαιVF-FMI3S ὁRA-NSM ὀφθαλμόςN2-NSM ἐγώRP-GS ἐπίP σύRP-AS οὐδέC μήD ἐλεέωVF-FAI1S διότιC ὁRA-ASF ὁδόςN2-ASF σύRP-GS ἐπίP σύRP-AS δίδωμιVF-FAI1S καίC ὁRA-APN βδέλυγμαN3M-APN σύRP-GS ἐνP μέσοςA1-DSN σύRP-GS εἰμίVF-FMI3S καίC ἐπιγιγνώσκωVF-FMI2S διότιC ἐγώRP-NS κύριοςN2-NSM |
[8]Now will I shortly pour out My fury upon thee, and spend Mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways; and I will bring upon thee all thine abominations. |
| [9]διότιC ὅδεRD-APN λέγωV1-PAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM |
[9]And Mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity; I will bring upon the according to thy ways, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 do smite. |
| [10]ἰδούI ὁRA-NSN πέραςN3T-NSN ἥκωV1-PAI3S ἰδούI ἡμέραN1A-NSF κύριοςN2-GSM εἰC καίC ὁRA-NSF ῥάβδοςN2-NSF ἀνθέωVX-XAI3S ὁRA-NSF ὕβριςN3I-NSF ἐκ ἀναἵστημιVXI-XAI3S |
[10]Behold the day; behold, it cometh; the turn is come forth; the rod hath blossomed, arrogancy hath budded. |
| [11]καίC συντρίβωVF-FAI3S στήριγμαN3M-ASN ἄνομοςA1B-GSM καίC οὐD μετάP θορύβοςN2-GSM οὐδέC μετάP σπουδήN1-GSF |
[11]Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness; nought cometh from them, nor from their tumult, nor from their turmoil, neither is there eminency among them. |
| [12]ἥκωV1-PAI3S ὁRA-NSM καιρόςN2-NSM ἰδούI ὁRA-NSF ἡμέραN1A-NSF ὁRA-NSM κτάομαιV3-PMPNSM μήD χαίρωV1-PAD3S καίC ὁRA-NSM πωλέωV2-PAPNSM μήD θρηνέωV2-PAD3S |
[12]The time is come, the day draweth near; let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn; for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof. |
| [13]διότιC ὁRA-NSM κτάομαιV3-PMPNSM πρόςP ὁRA-ASM πωλέωV2-PAPASM οὐκέτιD μήD ἐπιστρέφωVA-AAS3S καίC ἄνθρωποςN2-NSM ἐνP ὀφθαλμόςN2-DSM ζωήN1-GSF αὐτόςRD-GSM οὐD κρατέωVF-FAI3S |
[13]For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they be yet alive; for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any stand possessed of the iniquity of his life. |
| [14]σαλπίζωVA-AAD2P ἐνP σάλπιγξN3G-DSF καίC κρίνωVA-AAD2P ὁRA-APN σύμπαςA3-APN |
[14]They have blown the horn, and have made all ready, but none goeth to the battle; for My wrath is upon all the multitude thereof. |
| [15]ὁRA-NSM πόλεμοςN2-NSM ἐνP ῥομφαίαN1A-DSF ἔξωθενD καίC ὁRA-NSM λιμόςN2-NSM καίC ὁRA-NSM θάνατοςN2-NSM ἔσωθενD ὁRA-NSM ἐνP ὁRA-DSN πεδίονN2N-DSN ἐνP ῥομφαίαN1A-DSF τελευτάωVF-FAI3S ὁRA-APM δέX ἐνP ὁRA-DSF πόλιςN3I-DSF λιμόςN2-NSM καίC θάνατοςN2-NSM συντελέωVF-FAI3S |
[15]The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within; he that is in the field shall die with the sword, and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him. |
| [16]καίC ἀνασώζωVC-FPI3P ὁRA-NPM ἀνασώζωV1-PMPNPM ἐκP αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3P ἐπίP ὁRA-GPN ὄροςN3E-GPN πᾶςA3-APM ἀποκτείνωVF2-FAI1S ἕκαστοςA1-ASM ἐνP ὁRA-DPF ἀδικίαN1A-DPF αὐτόςRD-GSM |
[16]But they that shall at all escape of them, shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, every one in his iniquity. |
| [17]πᾶςA1S-NPF χείρN3-NPF ἐκλύωVC-FPI3P καίC πᾶςA3-NPM μηρόςN2-NPM μολύνωVC-FPI3P ὑγρασίαN1A-DSF |
[17]All hands shall be slack, and all knees shall drip with water. |
| [18]καίC περιζωννύωVF-FMI3P σάκκοςN2-APM καίC καλύπτωVF-FAI3S αὐτόςRD-APM θάμβοςN3E-NSN καίC ἐπίP πᾶςA3-NSN πρόσωπονN2N-NSN αἰσχύνηN1-NSF ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-APM καίC ἐπίP πᾶςA1S-ASF κεφαλήN1-ASF φαλάκρωμαN3M-NSN |
[18]They shall also gir themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads. |
| [19]ὁRA-NSN ἀργύριονN2N-NSN αὐτόςRD-GPM ῥίπτωVV-FPI3S ἐνP ὁRA-DPF πλατύςA3U-DPF καίC ὁRA-NSN χρυσίονN2N-NSN αὐτόςRD-GPM ὑπερὁράωVV-FPI3S ὁRA-NPF ψυχήN1-NPF αὐτόςRD-GPM οὐD μήD ἐνπίμπλημιVS-APS3P καίC ὁRA-NPF κοιλίαN1A-NPF αὐτόςRD-GPM οὐD μήD πληρόωVC-APS3P διότιC βάσανοςN2-NSF ὁRA-GPF ἀδικίαN1A-GPF αὐτόςRD-GPM γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S |
[19]They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be as an unclean thing; their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath o 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇; they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels; because it hath been the stumblingblock of their iniquity. |
| [20]ἐκλεκτόςA1-APN κόσμοςN2-GSM εἰςP ὑπερηφανίαN1A-ASF τίθημιVEI-AMI3P αὐτόςRD-APN καίC εἰκώνN3N-APF ὁRA-GPN βδέλυγμαN3M-GPN αὐτόςRD-GPM ποιέωVAI-AAI3P ἐκP αὐτόςRD-GPM ἕνεκενP οὗτοςRD-GSM δίδωμιVX-XAI1S αὐτόςRD-APN αὐτόςRD-DPM εἰςP ἀκαθαρσίαN1A-ASF |
[20]And as for the beauty of their ornament, which was set for a pride, they made the images of their abominations and their detestable things thereof; therefore have I made it unto them as an unclean thing. |
| [21]καίC παραδίδωμιVF-FAI1S αὐτόςRD-APN εἰςP χείρN3-APF ἀλλότριοςA1A-GPM ὁRA-GSN διαἁρπάζωVA-AAN αὐτόςRD-APN καίC ὁRA-DPM λοιμόςN2-DPM ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF εἰςP σκῦλονN2N-APN καίC βεβηλόωVF-FAI3P αὐτόςRD-APN |
[21]And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall profane it. |
| [22]καίC ἀποστρέφωVF-FAI1S ὁRA-ASN πρόσωπονN2N-ASN ἐγώRP-GS ἀπόP αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC μιαίνωVF2-FAI3P ὁRA-ASF ἐπισκοπήN1-ASF ἐγώRP-GS καίC εἰςἔρχομαιVF-FMI3P εἰςP αὐτόςRD-APN ἀφυλάκτωςD καίC βεβηλόωVF-FAI3P αὐτόςRD-APN |
[22]I will also turn My face from them, and they shall profane My secret place; and robbers shall enter into it, and profane it. |
| [23]καίC ποιέωVF-FAI3P φυρμόςN2-ASM διότιC ὁRA-NSF γῆN1-NSF πλήρηςA3H-NSF λαόςN2-GPM καίC ὁRA-NSF πόλιςN3I-NSF πλήρηςA3H-NSF ἀνομίαN1A-GSF |
[23]Make the chain; for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence. |
| [24]καίC ἀποστρέφωVF-FAI1S ὁRA-ASN φρύαγμαN3M-ASN ὁRA-GSF ἰσχύςN3U-GSF αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC μιαίνωVC-FPI3S ὁRA-APN ἅγιοςA1A-APN αὐτόςRD-GPM |
[24]Wherefore I will bring the worst of the nations, and they shall possess their houses; I will also make the pride of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be profaned. |
| [25]ἐξιλασμόςN2-NSM ἥκωVF-FAI3S καίC ζητέωVF-FAI3S εἰρήνηN1-ASF καίC οὐD εἰμίVF-FMI3S |
[25]Horror cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none. |
| [26]οὐαίI ἐπίP οὐαίI εἰμίVF-FMI3S καίC ἀγγελίαN1A-NSF ἐπίP ἀγγελίαN1A-ASF εἰμίVF-FMI3S καίC ζητέωVC-FPI3S ὅρασιςN3I-NSF ἐκP προφήτηςN1M-GSM καίC νόμοςN2-NSM ἀποὀλλύωVF2-FMI3S ἐκP ἱερεύςN3V-GSM καίC βουλήN1-NSF ἐκP πρεσβύτεροςA1A-GPMC |
[26]Calamity shall come upon calamity, and rumour shall be upon rumour; and they shall seek a vision of the prophet, and instruction shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the elders. |
| [27]ἄρχωνN3-NSM ἐνδύωVF-FMI3S ἀφανισμόςN2-ASM καίC ὁRA-NPF χείρN3-NPF ὁRA-GSM λαόςN2-GSM ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF παραλύωVC-FPI3P κατάP ὁRA-APF ὁδόςN2-APF αὐτόςRD-GPM ποιέωVF-FAI1S αὐτόςRD-DPM καίC ἐνP ὁRA-DPN κρίμαN3M-DPN αὐτόςRD-GPM ἐκδικέωVF-FAI1S αὐτόςRD-APM καίC γιγνώσκωVF-FMI3P ὅτιC ἐγώRP-NS κύριοςN2-NSM |
[27]The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with appalment, and the hands of the people of the land shall be enfeebled; I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇.' |
