[4]καίC συνἄγωVQI-API3P πρόςP ἐγώRP-AS πᾶςA3-NSMRA-NSM διώκωV1-PAPNSM λόγοςN2-ASM θεόςN2-GSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM ἐπίP ἀσυνθεσίαA1A-DSFRA-GSF ἀποικίαN1A-GSF καίC ἐγώRP-NS καταἧμαιV5-PMPNSM ἠρεμάζωνV1-PAPNSM ἕωςCRA-GSF θυσίαN1A-GSFRA-GSF ἑσπερινόςA1-GSF [4]Then were assembled to me every one that trembled at the words of the God of Israel, because of the transgression of those that had been carried away; and I sat confounded until the evening sacrifice.
[5]καίC ἐνP θυσίαN1A-DSFRA-DSF ἑσπερινόςA1-DSF ἀναἵστημιVHI-AAI1S ἀπόP ταπείνωσιςN3I-GSF ἐγώRP-GS καίC ἐνPRA-DSN διαῥήγνυμιVA-AAN ἐγώRP-ASRA-APN ἱμάτιονN2N-APN ἐγώRP-GS καίC πάλλομαιV1I-IMI1S καίC κλίνωV1-PAI1S ἐπίPRA-APN γόνυN3-APN ἐγώRP-GS καίC ἐκπετάζωV1-PAI1SRA-APF χείρN3-APF ἐγώRP-GS πρόςP κύριοςN2-ASMRA-ASM θεόςN2-ASM [5]And at the evening sacrifice I arose from my heaviness; and having rent my garment and my mantle, I fell upon my knees, and spread out my hands to the LORD my God,
[6]καίC εἶπονVAI-AAI1S κύριοςN2-VSM αἰσχύνωVCI-API1S καίC ἐντρέπωVDI-API1SRA-GSM ὑψόωV4-PAPNPFRA-ASN πρόσωπονN2N-ASN ἐγώRP-GS πρόςP σύRP-AS ὅτιCRA-NPF ἀνομίαN1A-NPF ἐγώRP-GP πληθύνωVCI-API3P ὑπέρP κεφαλήN1-GSF ἐγώRP-GP καίCRA-NPF πλημμέλειαN1A-NPF ἐγώRP-GP μεγαλύνωVCI-API3P ἕωςC εἰςP οὐρανόςN2-ASM [6]And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up to the heavens.
[7]ἀπόP ἡμέραN1A-GPF πατήρN3-GPM ἐγώRP-GP εἰμίV9-PAI1P ἐνP πλημμέλειαN1A-DSF μέγαςA1-DSF ἕωςCRA-GSF ἡμέραN1A-GSF οὗτοςRD-GSF καίC ἐνPRA-DPF ἀνομίαN1A-DPF ἐγώRP-GP παραδίδωμιVCI-API1P ἐγώRP-NP καίCRA-NPM βασιλεύςN3V-NPM ἐγώRP-GP καίCRA-NPM υἱόςN2-NPM ἐγώRP-GP ἐνP χείρN3-DSF βασιλεύςN3V-GPMRA-GPN ἔθνοςN3E-GPN ἐνP ῥομφαίαN1A-DSF καίC ἐνP αἰχμαλωσίαN1A-DSF καίC ἐνP διαρπαγήN1-DSF καίC ἐνP αἰσχύνηN1-DSF πρόσωπονN2N-GSN ἐγώRP-GP ὡςCRA-NSF ἡμέραN1A-NSF οὗτοςRD-NSF [7]Since the days of our fathers have we been in a great trespass to this day; and for our iniquities have we, our kings, and our priests, been delivered into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, and to a spoil, and to confusion of face, as it is this day.
[8]καίC νῦνD ἐπιεἰκούομαιVAI-AMI3S ἐγώRP-DP κύριοςN2-NSMRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ἐγώRP-GPRA-GSN καταλείπωVB-AAN ἐγώRP-DP εἰςP σωτηρίαN1A-ASF καίC δίδωμιVO-AAN ἐγώRP-DP στήριγμαN3M-ASN ἐνP τόποςN2-DSM ἁγίασμαN3M-GSN αὐτόςRD-GSMRA-GSN φωτίζωVA-AAN ὀφθαλμόςN2-APM ἐγώRP-GP καίC δίδωμιVO-AAN ζωοποιέωVA-AAS3P μικρόςA1A-ASF ἐνPRA-DSF δουλείαN1A-DSF ἐγώRP-GP [8]And now for a little space grace hath been shown from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage.
[9]ὅτιC δοῦλοςN2-NPM εἰμίV9-PAI1P καίC ἐνPRA-DSF δουλείαN1A-DSF ἐγώRP-GP οὐD ἐν καταλείπωVBI-AAI3S ἐγώRP-AP κύριοςN2-NSMRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ἐγώRP-GP καίC κλίνωV1I-IAI3S ἐπίP ἐγώRP-AP ἔλεοςN2-NSM ἐνώπιοςA1B-ASM βασιλεύςN3V-GPM *πέρσηςN1M-GPM δίδωμιVO-AAN ἐγώRP-DP ζωοποιέωVA-AAS3PRA-GSM ὑψόωV4-PAPNPF αὐτόςRD-APMRA-ASM οἶκοςN2-ASMRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM ἐγώRP-GP καίC ἀναἵστημιVA-AANRA-APN ἔρημαN3-APN αὐτόςRD-GSF καίCRA-GSN δίδωμιVO-AAN ἐγώRP-DP φραγμόςN2-ASM ἐνP *ἰουδάN--DSM καίC ἐνP *ἰερουσαλήμN--DSF [9]For we were bond-men; yet our God hath not forsaken us in our bondage, but hath extended mercy to us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set up the house of our God, and to repair the desolations of it, and to give us a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem.
[10]τίςRI-ASN λέγωVBI-AAS1PRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ἐγώRP-GP μετάP οὗτοςRD-ASN ὅτιC ἐν καταλείπωVBI-AAI1P ἐντολήN1-APF σύRP-GS [10]And now, O our God, what shall we say after this? for we have forsaken thy commandments,
[11]ὅςRR-APF δίδωμιVAI-AAI2S ἐγώRP-DP ἐνP χείρN3-DSF δοῦλοςN2-GPM σύRP-GSRA-GPM προφήτηςN1M-GPM λέγωV1-PAPNSMRA-NSF γῆN1-NSF εἰςP ὅςRR-ASF εἰςπορεύομαιV1-PMI2P κληρονομέωVA-AAN αὐτόςRD-ASF γῆN1-NSF μετακινέωV2-PMPNSF εἰμίV9-PAI3S ἐνP μετακινέωVF-FAI3S λαόςN2-GPMRA-GPN ἔθνοςN3E-GPN ἐνP μάκρυμμαN3M-DPN αὐτόςRD-GPM ὅςRR-GPM πίμπλημιVAI-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-ASF ἀπόP στόμαN3M-GSN ἐπίP στόμαN3M-ASN ἐνP ἀκαθαρσίαN1A-DPF αὐτόςRD-GPM [11]Which thou hast commanded by thy servants the prophets, saying, The land, to which ye go to possess it, is an unclean land with the filthiness of the people of the lands, with their abominations, which have filled it from one end to another with their uncleanness.
[12]καίC νῦνDRA-APF θυγάτηρN3-APF σύRP-GP μήD δίδωμιVO-AAS2PRA-DPM υἱόςN2-DPM αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC ἀπόPRA-GPM θυγάτηρN3-GPF αὐτόςRD-GPM μήD λαμβάνωVB-AAS2PRA-DPM υἱόςN2-DPM σύRP-GP καίC οὐD ἐκζητέωVF-FAI2P εἰρήνηN1-ASF αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC ἀγαθόςA1-ASM αὐτόςRD-GPM ἕωςC αἰώνN3W-GSM ὅπωςC ἐνἰσχύωVA-AAS2P καίC ἐσθίωVB-AAS2PRA-APN ἀγαθόςA1-APNRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF καίC κληροδοτέωVA-AAS2PRA-DPM υἱόςN2-DPM σύRP-GP ἕωςC αἰώνN3W-GSM [12]Now therefore give not your daughters to their sons, neither take their daughters to your sons, nor seek their peace or their wealth for ever: that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children for ever.
[13]καίC μετάP πᾶςA3-NSNRA-ASN ἔρχομαιV1-PMPASM ἐπίP ἐγώRP-AP ἐνP ποίημαN3M-DPN ἐγώRP-GPRA-DPM πονηρόςA1A-DPM καίC ἐνP πλημμέλειαN1A-DSF ἐγώRP-GPRA-DSF μέγαςA1-DSF ὅτιC οὐD εἰμίV9-PAI3S ὡςCRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ἐγώRP-GP ὅτιC κουφίζωVAI-AAI2S ἐγώRP-GPRA-APF ἀνομίαN1A-GSF καίC δίδωμιVAI-AAI2S ἐγώRP-DP σωτηρίαN1A-ASF [13]And after all that hath come upon us for our evil deeds, and for our great trespass, seeing that thou our God hast punished us less than our iniquities deserve, and hast given us such deliverance as this;
[14]ὅτιC ἐπιστρέφωVAI-AAI1P διασκεδάζωVA-AAN ἐντολήN1-APF σύRP-GS καίC ἐπιγαμβρεύωVA-AANRA-DPM λαόςN2-DPMRA-GPM γαῖαN1A-GPF μήD παραὀξύνωVC-APS2S ἐνP ἐγώRP-DP ἕωςC συντέλειαN1A-GSFRA-GSM μήD εἰμίV9-PAN ἐγκατάλειμμαN3M-NSN καίC διασώζωV1-PMPASM [14]Should we again break thy commandments, and join in affinity with the people of these abominations? wouldst thou not be angry with us till thou hadst consumed us, so that there should be no remnant nor escaping?
[15]κύριοςN2-VSMRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM δίκαιοςA1A-NSM σύRP-NS ὅτιC καταλείπωVVI-API1P διασώζωV1-PMPNPM ὡςCRA-NSF ἡμέραN1A-NSF οὗτοςRD-NSF ἰδούI ἐγώRP-NP ἐναντίονD σύRP-GS ἐνP πλημμέλειαN1A-DPF ἐγώRP-GP ὅτιC οὐD εἰμίV9-PAI3S ἵστημιVH-AAN ἐνώπιοςA1B-ASM σύRP-GS ἐπίP οὗτοςRD-DSM [15]O LORD God of Israel, thou art righteous: for we having escaped, remain yet, as it is this day: behold, we are before thee in our trespasses: for we cannot stand before thee because of this.
