| [2]Now the earth was unformed and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the spirit of God hovered over the face of the waters. |
[2]ὁRA-NSF δέX γῆN1-NSF εἰμίV9-IAI3S ἀόρατοςA1B-NSM καίC ἀκατασκεύαστοςA1B-NSM καίC σκότοςN3E-NSN ἐπάνωP ὁRA-GSF ἄβυσσοςN2-GSF καίC πνεῦμαN3M-NSN θεόςN2-GSM ἐπιφέρωV1I-IMI3S ἐπάνωP ὁRA-GSN ὕδωρN3T-GSN |
| [3]And God said: 'Let there be light.' And there was light. |

| [4]And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. |

| [5]And God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day. |

| [6]And God said: 'Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.' |

| [7]And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. |

| [8]And God called the firmament Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day. |

| [9]And God said: 'Let the waters under the heaven be gathere together unto one place, and let the dry land appear.' And it was so. |

| [10]And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters called He Seas; and God saw that it was good. |
[10]καίC καλέωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὁRA-ASF ξηρόςA1A-ASF γῆN1-ASF καίC ὁRA-APN σύστημαN3M-APN ὁRA-GPN ὕδωρN3T-GPN καλέωVAI-AAI3S θάλασσαN1S-APF καίC ὁράωVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὅτιC καλόςA1-NSN |
| [11]And God said: 'Let the earth put forth grass, herb yielding seed, and fruit-tree bearing fruit after its kind, wherein is the seed thereof, upon the earth.' And it was so. |
[11]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM βλαστάνωVA-AAD3S ὁRA-NSF γῆN1-NSF βοτάνηN1-ASF χόρτοςN2-GSM σπείρωV1-PAPNSN σπέρμαN3M-ASN κατάP γένοςN3E-ASN καίC κατάP ὁμοιότηςN3T-ASF καίC ξύλονN2N-ASN κάρπιμοςA1B-ASN ποιέωV2-PAPASN καρπόςN2-ASM ὅςRR-GSM ὁRA-NSN σπέρμαN3M-NSN αὐτόςRD-GSN ἐνP αὐτόςRD-DSM κατάP γένοςN3E-ASN ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S οὕτωςD |
| [12]And the earth brought forth grass, herb yielding seed after its kind, and tree bearing fruit, wherein is the seed thereof, after its kind; and God saw that it was good. |
[12]καίC ἐκφέρωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSF γῆN1-NSF βοτάνηN1-ASF χόρτοςN2-GSM σπείρωV1-PAPNSN σπέρμαN3M-ASN κατάP γένοςN3E-ASN καίC κατάP ὁμοιότηςN3T-ASF καίC ξύλονN2N-ASN κάρπιμοςA1B-ASN ποιέωV2-PAPASN καρπόςN2-ASM ὅςRR-GSM ὁRA-NSN σπέρμαN3M-NSN αὐτόςRD-GSN ἐνP αὐτόςRD-DSM κατάP γένοςN3E-ASN ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF καίC ὁράωVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὅτιC καλόςA1-NSN |
| [13]And there was evening and there was morning, a third day. |
[13]καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S ἑσπέραN1A-NSF καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S πρωΐD ἡμέραN1A-NSF τρίτοςA1-NSF |
| [14]And God said: 'Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years; |
[14]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM γίγνομαιVC-APD3P φωστήρN3H-NPM ἐνP ὁRA-DSN στερέωμαN3M-DSN ὁRA-GSM οὐρανόςN2-GSM εἰςP φαῦσιςN3I-ASF ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF ὁRA-GSN διαχωρίζωV1-PAN ἀνάP μέσοςA1-ASM ὁRA-GSF ἡμέραN1A-GSF καίC ἀνάP μέσοςA1-ASM ὁRA-GSF νύξN3-GSF καίC εἰμίV9-PAD3P εἰςP σημεῖονN2N-APN καίC εἰςP καιρόςN2-APM καίC εἰςP ἡμέραN1A-APF καίC εἰςP ἐνιαυτόςN2-APM |
| [15]And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth.' And it was so. |
[15]καίC εἰμίV9-PAD3P εἰςP φαῦσιςN3I-ASF ἐνP ὁRA-DSN στερέωμαN3M-DSN ὁRA-GSM οὐρανόςN2-GSM ὥστεC φαίνωV1-PAN ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S οὕτωςD |
| [16]And God made the two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night; and the stars. |
[16]καίC ποιέωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὁRA-APM δύοM φωστήρN3H-APM ὁRA-APM μέγαςA1-APM ὁRA-ASM φωστήρN3H-ASM ὁRA-ASM μέγαςA1P-ASM εἰςP ἀρχήN1-APF ὁRA-GSF ἡμέραN1A-GSF καίC ὁRA-ASM φωστήρN3H-ASM ὁRA-ASM ἐλαχύςA3C-ASMC εἰςP ἀρχήN1-APF ὁRA-GSF νύξN3-GSF καίC ὁRA-APM ἀστήρN3-APM |
| [17]And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, |
[17]καίC τίθημιVEI-AMI3S αὐτόςRD-APM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ἐνP ὁRA-DSN στερέωμαN3M-DSN ὁRA-GSM οὐρανόςN2-GSM ὥστεC φαίνωV1-PAN ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF |
| [18]And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness; and God saw that it was good. |
[18]καίC ἄρχωV1-PAN ὁRA-GSF ἡμέραN1A-GSF καίC ὁRA-GSF νύξN3-GSF καίC διαχωρίζωV1-PAN ἀνάP μέσοςA1-ASM ὁRA-GSN φῶςN3T-GSN καίC ἀνάP μέσοςA1-ASM ὁRA-GSN σκότοςN3E-GSN καίC ὁράωVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὅτιC καλόςA1-NSN |
| [19]And there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day. |
[19]καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S ἑσπέραN1A-NSF καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S πρωΐD ἡμέραN1A-NSF τέταρτοςA1-NSF |
| [20]And God said: 'Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let fowl fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.' |
[20]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ἐκἄγωVB-AAD3S ὁRA-NPN ὕδωρN3T-NPN ἑρπετόνN2N-APN ψυχήN1-GPF ζάωV3-PAPGPF καίC πετεινόνN2N-APN πέτομαιV1-PMPAPN ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF κατάP ὁRA-ASN στερέωμαN3M-ASN ὁRA-GSM οὐρανόςN2-GSM καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S οὕτωςD |
| [21]And God created the great sea-monsters, and every living creature that creepeth, wherewith the waters swarmed, after its kind, and every winged fowl after its kind; and God saw that it was good. |
[21]καίC ποιέωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὁRA-APN κῆτοςN3E-APN ὁRA-APN μέγαςA1-APN καίC πᾶςA1S-ASF ψυχήN1-ASF ζῷονN2N-GPN ἑρπετόνN2N-GPN ὅςRR-APN ἐκἄγωVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-APN ὕδωρN3T-APN κατάP γένοςN3E-APN αὐτόςRD-GPN καίC πᾶςA3-ASN πετεινόνN2N-ASN πτερωτόςA1-ASN κατάP γένοςN3E-ASN καίC ὁράωVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὅτιC καλόςA1-APN |
| [22]And God blessed them, saying: 'Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.' |
[22]καίC εὐλογέωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-APN ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM λέγωV1-PAPNSM αὐξάνωV1-PMD2P καίC πληθύνωV1-PMD2P καίC πληρόωVA-AAD2P ὁRA-APN ὕδωρN3T-APN ἐνP ὁRA-DPF θάλασσαN1S-DPF καίC ὁRA-NPN πετεινόνN2N-NPN πληθύνωVA-AMD3P ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF |
| [23]And there was evening and there was morning, a fifth day. |
[23]καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S ἑσπέραN1A-NSF καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S πρωΐD ἡμέραN1A-NSF πέμπτοςA1-NSF |
| [24]And God said: 'Let the earth bring forth the living creature after its kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after its kind.' And it was so. |
[24]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ἐκἄγωVB-AAD3S ὁRA-NSF γῆN1-NSF ψυχήN1-ASF ζάωV3-PAPASF κατάP γένοςN3E-ASN τετράποδοςA1B-APN καίC ἑρπετόνN2N-APN καίC θηρίονN2N-APN ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF κατάP γένοςN3E-ASN καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S οὕτωςD |
| [25]And God made the beast of the earth after its kind, and the cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the ground after its kind; and God saw that it was good. |
[25]καίC ποιέωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὁRA-APN θηρίονN2N-APN ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF κατάP γένοςN3E-ASN καίC ὁRA-APN κτῆνοςN3E-APN κατάP γένοςN3E-ASN καίC πᾶςA3-APN ὁRA-APN ἑρπετόνN2N-APN ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF κατάP γένοςN3E-ASN αὐτόςRD-GPN καίC ὁράωVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὅτιC καλόςA1-APN |
| [26]And God said: 'Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.' |
[26]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ποιέωVA-AAS1P ἄνθρωποςN2-ASM κατάP εἰκώνN3N-ASF ἡμέτεροςA1A-ASF καίC κατάP ὁμοίωσιςN3I-ASF καίC ἄρχωV1-PAD3P ὁRA-GPM ἰχθύςN3U-GPM ὁRA-GSF θάλασσαN1S-GSF καίC ὁRA-GPN πετεινόνN2N-GPN ὁRA-GSM οὐρανόςN2-GSM καίC ὁRA-GPN κτῆνοςN3E-GPN καίC πᾶςA1S-GSF ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF καίC πᾶςA3-GPN ὁRA-GPN ἑρπετόνN2N-GPN ὁRA-GPN ἕρπωV1-PAPGPN ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF |
| [27]And God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. |
[27]καίC ποιέωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ὁRA-ASM ἄνθρωποςN2-ASM κατάP εἰκώνN3N-ASF θεόςN2-GSM ποιέωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASM ἄρσηνA3-ASN καίC θῆλυςA3U-ASN ποιέωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-APM |
| [28]And God blessed them; and God said unto them: 'Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that creepeth upon the earth.' |
[28]καίC εὐλογέωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-APM ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM λέγωV1-PAPNSM αὐξάνωV1-PMD2P καίC πληθύνωV1-PMD2P καίC πληρόωVA-AAD2P ὁRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF καίC κατακυριεύωVA-AAD2P αὐτόςRD-GSF καίC ἄρχωV1-PAI2P ὁRA-GPM ἰχθύςN3U-GPM ὁRA-GSF θάλασσαN1S-GSF καίC ὁRA-GPN πετεινόνN2N-GPN ὁRA-GSM οὐρανόςN2-GSM καίC πᾶςA3-GPN ὁRA-GPN κτῆνοςN3E-GPN καίC πᾶςA1S-GSF ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF καίC πᾶςA3-GPN ὁRA-GPN ἑρπετόνN2N-GPN ὁRA-GPN ἕρπωV1-PAPGPN ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF |
| [29]And God said: 'Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed—to you it shall be for food; |
[29]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ἰδούI δίδωμιVX-XAI1S σύRP-DP πᾶςA3-ASN χόρτοςN2-ASM σπόριμοςA1B-ASM σπείρωV1-PAPASN σπέρμαN3M-ASN ὅςRR-NSN εἰμίV9-PAI3S ἐπάνωP πᾶςA1S-GSF ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF καίC πᾶςA3-ASN ξύλονN2N-ASN ὅςRR-NSN ἔχωV1-PAI3S ἐνP ἑαυτοῦRD-DSM καρπόςN2-ASM σπέρμαN3M-GSN σπόριμοςA1B-GSN σύRP-DP εἰμίVF-FMI3S εἰςP βρῶσιςN3I-ASF |
| [30]And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is a living soul, I have given every green herb for food.' And it was so. |
[30]καίC πᾶςA3-DPN ὁRA-DPN θηρίονN2N-DPN ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF καίC πᾶςA3-DPN ὁRA-DPN πετεινόνN2N-DPN ὁRA-GSM οὐρανόςN2-GSM καίC πᾶςA3-DSN ἑρπετόνN2N-DSN ὁRA-DSN ἕρπωV1-PAPDSN ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF ὅςRR-NSN ἔχωV1-PAI3S ἐνP ἑαυτοῦRD-DSM ψυχήN1-ASF ζωήN1-GSF πᾶςA3-ASM χόρτοςN2-ASM χλωρόςA1A-ASM εἰςP βρῶσιςN3I-ASF καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S οὕτωςD |
| [31]And God saw every thing that He had made, and, behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. |
