[1]Now these [are] the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood. [1]ܘܗܵܠܹܝܢ ܬܵܘ̈ܠܕ݂ܵܬܼܵܐ ܕܲܒ݂ܢܲܝ̈ ܢܘܿܚ: ܫܹܝܡ: ܘܚܵܡ: ܘܝܲܦ̮ܬ: ܘܐܸܬܼܝܼܠܸܕ݂ ܠܗܘܿܢ ܒܢܲܝܵ̈ܐ ܡ̣ܢ ܒܵܬܲܪ ܛܵܘܦܵܢܵܐ.
[2]The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, Madai, and Javan,Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. [2]ܒܢܲܝ̈ ܝܲܦ̮ܬܿ: ܓܵܡܲܪ: ܘܡܵܓܿܘܼܓܼ: ܘܡܵܕܲܝ: ܘܝܵܘܵܢ: ܘܬܼܘܼܒܹܝܠ: ܘܡܵܫܲܟ: ܘܬܼܝܼܪܸܣ.
[3]And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah. [3]ܘܲܒ݂ܢܲܝ̈ ܓܵܡܲܪ: ܐܲܫܟܲܢܙ: ܘܕܲܝܦܵܪ: ܘܬܼܘܼܓܲܪܡܵܐ.
[4]And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. [4]ܘܲܒ݂ܢܲܝ̈ ܝܵܘܵܢ: ܐܹܠܝܼܫܵܐ: ܘܬܲܪܫܝܼܫ: ܘܟ݂ܵܬܿܝܼܡ: ܘܕ݂ܘܼܕ݂ܵܢܝܼܡ.
[5]By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations. [5]ܘܡ̣ܢ ܗܵܠܹܝܢ ܐܸܬܼܦܪܲܫ ܒܓܲܙܪܵ̈ܬܼܵܐ ܕܥܲܡܡܹ̈ܐ ܒܐܲܪܥܵܬܼܗܘܿܢ: ܓܒܲܪ ܠܸܠܫܵܢܹܗ: ܠܫܲܪ̈ܒ݂ܵܬܼܗܘܿܢ: ܒܥܲܡܡܲܝ̈ܗܘܿܢ.
[6]And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, Phut and Canaan. [6]ܘܲܒ݂ܢܲܝ̈ ܚܵܡ: ܟܘܼܫ: ܘܡܸܨܪܝܼܡ: ܘܦܘܿܛ: ܘܲܟ݂ܢܲܥܢ.
[7]And the sons of Cush; Seba and Havilah, Sabtah and Raamah and Sabtechah: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan. [7]ܘܲܒ݂ܢܲܝ̈ ܟܘܼܫ: ܫܒ݂ܵܐ: ܘܲܚܘܝܼܠܵܐ: ܘܣܵܒ݂ܬܼܵܐ: ܘܪܲܥܡܵܐ: ܘܣܲܒ݂ܬܿܟ݂ܵܐ: ܘܲܒ݂ܢܲܝ̈ ܪܲܥܡܵܐ: ܫܒ݂ܵܐ ܘܕ݂ܵܪܲܢ.
[8]And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. [8]ܘܟܘܼܫ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܢܸܡܪܘܼܕ: ܗܘ̤ ܫܲܪܝܼ ܠܡܸܗܘܵܐ ܓܲܢ̄ܒܵܪܵܐ ܒܐܲܪܥܵܐ.
[9]He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD. [9]ܗܘ̤ ܗܘ̤ܵܐ ܓܲܢ̄ܒܵܪܵܐ ܢܲܚܫܝܼܪܬܼܵܢܵܐ ܩܕ݂ܵܡ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ: ܡܸܛܠ ܗܵܢܵܐ ܡܸܬܼܐܡܲܪ: ܐܲܝܟ ܢܸܡܪܘܼܕ ܓܲܢ̄ܒܵܪܵܐ ܢܲܚܫܝܼܪܬܼܵܢܵܐ ܩܕ݂ܵܡ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ.
[10]And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. [10]ܘܲܗܘ̤ܵܬ ܪܹܫ ܡܲܠܟܿܘܼܬܹܗ ܒܵܒܹܠ: ܘܐܲܪܟ: ܘܐܵܟ݂ܵܪ: ܘܟܲܠܝܵܐ: ܒܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܕܣܸܢܥܵܪ.
[11]Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah [11]ܡ̣ܢ ܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܗܵܝ ܢܦܲܩ ܐܵܬܼܘܼܪܵ̈ܝܹܐ: ܘܲܒ݂ܢܵܐ ܠܢܝܼܢܘܹܐ: ܘܲܠܪܲܚܒܿܘܼܬܼ ܩܪܝܼܬܼܵܐ: ܘܲܠܟܵܠܲܚ.
[12]And Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same [is] a great city. [12]ܘܲܠܪܵܣܲܢ ܕܒܹܝܬ ܢܝܼܢܘܹܐ: ܘܒܹܝܬܼ ܟܵܠܲܚ ܗܝܼ ܗ̄ܝܼ ܩܪܝܼܬܼܵܐ ܪܲܒܬܼܵܐ.
[13]And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim [13]ܘܡܸܨܪܝܼܡ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܠܘܿܕ݂ܝܼܡ: ܘܲܠܝܲܥܒ݂ܝܼܡ: ܘܲܠܠܲܗܒ݂ܝܼܡ: ܘܲܠܝܲܦ̮ܬܿܘܿܚܝܼܡ.
[14]And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (out of whom came Philistim,) and Caphtorim. [14]ܘܲܠܦܲܬܿܪܘܿܣܝܼܡ: ܘܲܠܟܸܣܠܘܿܚܝܼܡ: ܕܲܢܦܲܩܘ ܡ̣ܢ ܬܲܡܵܢ ܦܠܸܫܬܵܝܹ̈ܐ: ܘܩܵܦܘܿܕܩܵܝܹ̈ܐ.
[15]And Canaan begat Sidon his firstborn, and Heth [15]ܘܲܟ݂ܢܲܥܢ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܨܲܝܕܿܘܼܢ ܒܘܼܟ݂ܪܹܗ: ܘܲܠܚܹܝܬܼܵܝܹ̈ܐ.
[16]And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite [16]ܘܲܠܝܵܒ݂ܘܿܣܵܝܹ̈ܐ: ܘܠܐܵܡܘܿܪܵܝܹ̈ܐ: ܘܲܠܓܲܪܓܿܘܿܣܵܝܹ̈ܐ.
[17]And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite [17]ܘܲܠܚܵܘܵܝܹ̈ܐ: ܘܲܠܥܲܪܩܵܝܹ̈ܐ: ܘܲܠܣܝܼܢܵܝܹ̈ܐ.
[18]And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad. [18]ܘܠܵܐܪܘܿܕ݂ܵܝܹܐ: ܘܲܠܨܲܡܪܵ̈ܝܹܐ: ܘܠܲܚ̈ܡܵܬܼܵܝܹܐ: ܘܡ̣ܢ ܒܵܬܲܪܟܸܢ ܐܸܬܼܒܲܕܲܪܘ ܫܲܪ̈ܒ݂ܵܬܼܵܐ ܕܲܟ݂ܢܲܥܢܵܝܹ̈ܐ.
[19]And the border of the Canaanites was from river of Egypt, great river Gerat, and until latter waters. [19]ܘܲܗܘ̤ܵܐ ܬܚܘܼܡܵܐ ܕܲܟ݂ܢܲܥܢܵܝܹ̈ܐ ܡ̣ܢ ܨܲܝܕܿܘܼܢ ܕܲܒ݂ܡܲܥܠܵܢܵܐ ܕܓ݂ܵܕ݂ܵܪ: ܘܲܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܥܹܐܙܵܐ ܕܲܒ݂ܡܲܥܠܵܢܵܐ ܕܲܣܕ݂ܘܿܡ: ܘܲܕ݂ܥܵܡܘܿܪܵܐ: ܘܕ݂ܵܐܕ݂ܵܡܵܐ: ܘܕܲܨܒ݂ܘܼܐܝܹܡ: ܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܠܸܫܲܥ.
[20]These [are] the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, [and] in their nations. [20]ܗܵܠܹܝܢ ܒܢܲܝ̈ ܚܵܡ: ܠܫܲܪ̈ܒ݂ܵܬܼܗܘܿܢ: ܠܠܸܫܵܢܲܝ̈ܗܘܿܢ: ܒܐܲܪ̈ܥܵܬܼܗܘܿܢ: ܒܥܲܡܡܲܝ̈ܗܘܿܢ.
[21]Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were [children] born. [21]ܘܫܹܝܡ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܐܵܦ ܗܘ̤: ܐܵܒ݂ܘܼܗܘܿܢ ܕܟ݂ܠ ܒܢܲܝ̈ ܥܵܒ݂ܵܪ: ܐܲܚܘܼܗܝ ܕܝܲܦ̮ܬ ܪܲܒܵܐ.
[22]The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram. [22]ܒܢܲܝ̈ ܫܹܝܡ: ܥܝܼܠܵܡ: ܘܐܵܫܘܼܪ: ܘܐܲܪܦܲܟ݂ܫܵܪ: ܘܠܘܿܕ݂: ܘܐܵܪܲܡ.
[23]And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, Gether, and Mash. [23]ܘܲܒ݂ܢܲܝ̈ ܐܵܪܲܡ: ܥܘܼܨ: ܘܚܘܼܠ: ܘܓ݂ܵܬܼܵܪ: ܘܡܵܫ.
[24]And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber. [24]ܘܐܲܪܦܲܚܫܲܪ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܫܵܠܲܚ: ܘܫܵܠܲܚ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܥܵܒ݂ܵܪ.
[25]Unto Eber they were born two sons: the name of one [was] Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name [was] Joktan. [25]ܘܲܠܥܵܒ݂ܵܪ ܐܸܬܼܝܼܠܸܕ݂ܘ ܬܪܹܝܢ ܒܢ̈ܝܼܢ: ܫܡܹܗܿ ܕܚܲܕ݂ ܦܵܠܵܓܼ: ܡܸܛܠ ܕܲܒ݂ܝܵܘܡܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܐܸܬܼܦܲܠܓܲܬܼ ܐܲܪܥܵܐ: ܘܲܫܡܵܐ ܕܐܲܚܘܼܗܝ ܝܲܩܛܵܢ.
[26]And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah [26]ܘܝܲܩܛܵܢ ܐܵܘܠܸܕ݂ ܠܐܲܠܡܘܼܕܵܕ݂: ܘܲܠܫܵܠܵܦ: ܘܠܲܚܨܲܪܡܘܼܬܼ: ܘܲܠܝܵܪܵܚ.
[27]And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah [27]ܘܠܲܗܕ݂ܘܿܪܵܡ: ܘܠܐܘܿܙܹܝܠ: ܘܲܠܕܸܩܠܵܐ.
[28]And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba [28]ܘܲܠܥܘܿܒ݂ܵܠ: ܘܠܲܐܒ݂ܝܼܡܹܠ: ܘܠܲܫܒ݂ܵܐ.
[29]And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these [were] the sons of Joktan. [29]ܘܠܵܐܘܦܹܝܪ: ܘܠܲܚܘܝܼܠܵܐ: ܘܠܝܼܘܼܒܵܒ݂: ܟܠܗܘܿܢ ܗܵܠܝܹܢ ܒܢܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܝܲܩܛܵܢ.
[30]And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest unto Sephar a mount of the east. [30]ܘܲܗܘ̤ܵܐ ܡܵܘܬܲܒ݂ܗܘܿܢ ܡ̣ܢ ܡܢܲܫܹܐ: ܕܲܒ݂ܡܲܥܠܵܢܵܐ ܕܣܦܲܪܘܝܼܡ ܛܘܼܪܵܐ ܒܡܲܕ݂ܢܚܵܐ.
[31]These [are] the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations. [31]ܗܵܠܝܹܢ ܒܢܲܝ̈ ܫܹܝܡ: ܠܫܲܪ̈ܒ݂ܵܬܼܗܘܿܢ: ܠܠܸܫܵܢܲܝ̈ܗܘܿܢ: ܒܐܲܪ̈ܥܵܬܼܗܘܿܢ: ܒܥܲܡܡܲܝ̈ܗܘܿܢ.
[32]These [are] the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: from these were divided the nations in the earth after the flood. [32]ܗܵܠܹܝܢ ܫܲܪܒ݂ܵܬܼܵܐ ܕܲܒ݂ܢܲܝ̈ ܢܘܿܚ: ܠܬܼܵܘ̈ܠܕ݂ܵܬܼܗܘܿܢ: ܠܫܲܪ̈ܒ݂ܵܬܼܗܘܿܢ: ܒܥܲܡܡܲܝ̈ܗܘܿܢ: ܘܡ̣ܢ ܗܵܠܹܝܢ ܐܸܬܼܦܪܲܫܘ ܥܲܡܡܹ̈ܐ ܒܐܲܪܥܵܐ: ܡ̣ܢ ܒܵܬܲܪ ܛܵܘܦܵܢܵܐ.
