Then said Rachel to Lea: Geue me I praye thee of thy sonnes Mandragoras

Then saide Rachel: well, let hym sleepe with thee this night for thy sonnes Mandragoras

And he slept with her that same nyght

[20]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S *λειαN--NSF δωρέομαιVM-XMI3S ἐγώRP-DSRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM δῶρονN2N-ASN καλόςA1-ASN ἐνPRA-DSM νῦνD καιρόςN2-DSM αἱρετίζωVF-FAI3S ἐγώRP-ASRA-NSM ἀνήρN3-NSM ἐγώRP-GS τίκτωVBI-AAI3P γάρX αὐτόςRD-DSM υἱόςN2-APM ἕξM καίC καλέωVAI-AAI3SRA-ASN ὄνομαN3M-ASN αὐτόςRD-GSM *ζαβουλωνN--ASM [20]And Lea sayde: God hath endued me with a good dowrie, nowe wyll my husbande dwell with me, because I haue borne hym sixe sonnes: and called his name Zabulon

[22]μιμνήσκωVSI-API3S δέXRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSMRA-GSF *ραχηλN--GSF καίC ἐπιἀκούωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-GSFRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM καίC ἀναοἴγωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-GSFRA-ASF μήτραN1A-ASF [22]And God remembred Rachel, & God hearde her, and made her fruitefull
[23]καίC συνλαμβάνωVB-AAPNSF τίκτωVBI-AAI3SRA-DSM *ἰακώβN--DSM υἱόςN2-ASM εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX *ραχηλN--NSF ἀποαἱρέωVBI-AAI3SRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ἐγώRP-GSRA-ASN ὄνειδοςN3E-ASN [23]So that she conceaued & bare a sonne: and sayde, God hath taken awaye my rebuke
[24]καίC καλέωVAI-AAI3SRA-ASN ὄνομαN3M-ASN αὐτόςRD-GSM *ιωσηφN--ASM λέγωV1-PAPNSF προςτίθημιVE-AMD3SRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSM ἐγώRP-DS υἱόςN2-ASM ἕτεροςA1A-ASM [24]And she called his name Ioseph, saying: the Lorde geue me yet another sonne
[25]γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S δέX ὡςC τίκτωVBI-AAI3S *ραχηλN--NSFRA-ASM *ιωσηφN--ASM εἶπονVBI-AAI3S *ἰακώβN--NSMRA-DSM *λαβανN--DSM ἀποστέλλωVA-AAD2S ἐγώRP-AS ἵναC ἀποἔρχομαιVB-AAS1S εἰςPRA-ASM τόποςN2-ASM ἐγώRP-GS καίC εἰςPRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF ἐγώRP-GS [25]Assoone as Rachel had borne Ioseph, Iacob sayde to Laban: Send me away, that I maye go vnto my owne place, and to my countrey
[26]ἀποδίδωμιVO-AAD2SRA-APF γυνήN3K-APF ἐγώRP-GS καίCRA-APN παιδίονN2N-APN περίP ὅςRR-GPM δουλεύωVX-XAI1S σύRP-DS ἵναC ἀποἔρχομαιVB-AAS1S σύRP-NS γάρX γιγνώσκωV1-PAI2SRA-ASF δουλείαN1A-ASF ὅςRR-ASF δουλεύωVX-XAI1S σύRP-DS [26]Geue me my wyues and my chyldren for whom I haue serued thee, and let me go: for thou knowest what seruice I haue done thee
[27]εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX αὐτόςRD-DSM *λαβανN--NSM εἰC εὑρίσκωVB-AAI3P χάριςN3-ASF ἐναντίονP σύRP-GS οἰωνίζομαιVAI-AMI1S ἄνX εὐλογέωVA-AAI3S γάρX ἐγώRP-ASRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSMRA-DSF σόςA1-DSF εἴσοδοςN2-DSF [27]To whom Laban aunswered: I pray thee, yf I haue founde fauour in thy syght [tary]: for I haue proued that the Lorde blessed me for thy sake
[28]διαστέλλωVA-AAD2SRA-ASM μισθόςN2-ASM σύRP-GS πρόςP ἐγώRP-AS καίC δίδωμιVF-FAI1S [28]Also he sayde: Appoynt what thy rewarde shalbe, and I wyll geue [it thee.
[29]εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX αὐτόςRD-DSM *ἰακώβN--NSM σύRP-NS γιγνώσκωV1-PAI2S ὅςRR-APN δουλεύωVX-XAI1S σύRP-DS καίC ὅσοςA1-NPN εἰμίV9-IAI3S κτῆνοςN3E-NPN σύRP-GS μετάP ἐγώRP-GS [29]But he saide vnto him: Thou knowest what seruice I haue done thee, and in what takyng thy cattell haue ben vnder me
[30]μικρόςA1A-NPN γάρX εἰμίV9-IAI3S ὅσοςA1-NPN σύRP-DS εἰμίV9-IAI3S ἐναντίονP ἐγώRP-GS καίC αὐξάνωVCI-API3S εἰςP πλῆθοςN3E-ASN καίC εὐλογέωVAI-AAI3S σύRP-AS κύριοςN2-NSM ἐπίPRA-DSM πούςN3D-DSM ἐγώRP-GS νῦνD οὖνX πότεD ποιέωVA-AAS1S καΐἐγώC+RPNS ἐμαυτοῦRD-DSM οἶκοςN2-ASM [30]For that litle which thou haddest before I came, is nowe increased into a multitude, and the Lord hath blessed thee through my trauell: but nowe when shall I make prouision for myne owne house also

And Iacob aunswered, Thou shalt geue me nothyng at all: yf thou wylt do this thyng for me, then wyll I turne agayne, feede thy sheepe, and kepe them
[32]παραἔρχομαιVB-AAD3S πᾶςA3-APNRA-APN πρόβατονN2N-APN σύRP-GS σήμερονD καίC διαχωρίζωVA-AAD2S ἐκεῖθενD πᾶςA3-ASN πρόβατονN2N-ASN φαιόςA1A-ASN ἐνPRA-DPM ἀρνόςN3-DPM καίC πᾶςA3-ASN διάλευκοςA1B-ASN καίC ῥαντόςA1-ASN ἐνPRA-DPF αἴξN3G-DPM εἰμίVF-FMI3S ἐγώRP-DS μισθόςN2-NSM [32]I wyll go about all thy flockes this day, and seperate from them all the cattell that are spotted & of diuers colours: and all the blacke among the sheepe, & the partie & spotted amongst the kiddes [the same] shalbe my rewarde
[33]καίC ἐπιἀκούωVF-FMI3S ἐγώRP-DSRA-NSF δικαιοσύνηN1-NSF ἐγώRP-GS ἐνPRA-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSFRA-DSF αὔριονD ὅτιC εἰμίV9-PAI3SRA-NSM μισθόςN2-NSM ἐγώRP-GS ἐνώπιονP σύRP-GS πᾶςA3-NSN ὅςRR-NSN ἐάνC μήD εἰμίV9-PAS3S ῥαντόςA1-NSN καίC διάλευκοςA1B-NSN ἐνPRA-DPF αἴξN3G-DPM καίC φαιόςA1A-NSN ἐνPRA-DPM ἀρνόςN3-DPM κλέπτωVM-XMPNSN εἰμίVF-FMI3S παράP ἐγώRP-DS [33]So shall my ryghteousnes aunswere for me in time to come: for it shal come for my rewarde before thy face. And euery one that is not specked and partie amongst the goates, & blacke amongst the sheepe, let it be compted theft in me
[34]εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX αὐτόςRD-DSM *λαβανN--NSM εἰμίV9-PAD3S κατάPRA-ASN ῥῆμαN3M-ASN σύRP-GS [34]And Laban sayde: go to, would God it myght be accordyng to thy saying

[36]καίC ἀποἵστημιVHI-AAI3S ὁδόςN2-ASF τρεῖςA3-GPF ἡμέραN1A-GPF ἀνάP μέσοςA1-ASM αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC ἀνάP μέσοςA1-ASM *ἰακώβN--GSM *ἰακώβN--NSM δέX ποιμαίνωV1I-IAI3SRA-APN πρόβατονN2N-APN *λαβανN--GSMRA-APN ὑπολείπωVV-APPAPN [36]And set three dayes iourney betwixte himselfe and Iacob: and so Iacob kept the rest of Labans sheepe
[37]λαμβάνωVBI-AAI3S δέX ἑαυτοῦRD-DSM *ἰακώβN--NSM ῥάβδοςN2-ASF στυράκινοςA1-ASF χλωρόςA1A-ASF καίC καρύινοςA1-ASF καίC πλάτανοςN2-GSF καίC λεπίζωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-APF *ἰακώβN--NSM λέπισμαN3-APN λευκόςA1-APN περισύρωV1-PAPNSMRA-ASN χλωρόςA1A-ASN φαίνωV1I-IMI3S δέX ἐπίPRA-DPF ῥάβδοςN2-DPFRA-NSN λευκόςA1-NSN ὅςRR-ASN λεπίζωVAI-AAI3S ποικίλοςA1-NSN [37]Iacob toke roddes of greene populer, hasell, and chesse nut trees, and pilled whyte strakes in them, and made the whyte appeare in the roddes

[41]γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S δέX ἐνPRA-DSM καιρόςN2-DSM ὅςRR-DSM ἐνκισσάωVAI-AAI3SRA-NPN πρόβατονN2N-NPN ἐνP γαστήρN3-DSF λαμβάνωV1-PAPNPN τίθημιVAI-AAI3S *ἰακώβN--NSMRA-APF ῥάβδοςN2-APF ἐναντίονPRA-GPN πρόβατονN2N-GPN ἐνPRA-DPF ληνόςN2-DPFRA-GSN ἐνκισσάωVA-AAN αὐτόςRD-APN κατάPRA-APF ῥάβδοςN2-APF [41]And in euery conceauyng tyme of the stronger cattel, Iacob layed the roddes before the eyes of the cattell in the gutters, namely that they myght conceaue before the roddes
[42]ἡνίκαD δέX ἄνX τίκτωVBI-AAI3PRA-NPN πρόβατονN2N-NPN οὐD τίθημιV7I-IAI3S γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S δέXRA-NPN ἄσημοςA1B-NPNRA-GSM *λαβανN--GSMRA-NPN δέX ἐπίσημοςA1B-NPNRA-GSM *ἰακώβN--GSM [42]But when the cattell were feeble, he put them not in: and so the feebler were Labans, and the stronger Iacobs
[43]καίC πλουτέωVAI-AAI3SRA-NSM ἄνθρωποςN2-NSM σφόδραD σφόδραD καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S αὐτόςRD-DSM κτῆνοςN3E-NPN πολύςA1-NPN καίC βοῦςN3-NPM καίC παῖςN3D-NPM καίC παιδίσκηN1-NPF καίC κάμηλοςN2-NPM καίC ὄνοςN2-NPM [43]And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattell, and mayde seruauntes, and man seruauntes, and camels, and asses
