[1]γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S δέX μετάPRA-APN ῥῆμαN3M-APN οὗτοςRD-APN ἁμαρτάνωVBI-AAI3SRA-NSM ἀρχιοινοχόοςN2-NSMRA-GSM βασιλεύςN3V-GSM *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF καίCRA-NSM ἀρχισιτοποιόςN2-NSMRA-DSM κύριοςN2-DSM αὐτόςRD-GPM βασιλεύςN3V-DSM *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF [1]And it came to pass after these things, [that] the butler of the king of Egypt and [his] baker had offended their lord the king of Egypt.
[2]καίC ὀργίζωVSI-API3S *φαραώN--NSM ἐπίPRA-DPM δύοM--DPM εὐνοῦχοςN2-DPM αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐπίPRA-DSM ἀρχιοινοχόοςN2-DSM καίC ἐπίPRA-DSM ἀρχισιτοποιόςN2-DSM [2]And Pharaoh was wroth against two [of] his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers.
[3]καίC τίθημιVEI-AMI3S αὐτόςRD-APM ἐνP φυλακήN1-DSF παράPRA-DSM δεσμοφύλαξN3K-DSM εἰςPRA-ASN δεσμωτήριονN2N-ASN εἰςPRA-ASM τόποςN2-ASM οὗD *ιωσηφN--NSM ἀποἄγωVMI-YMI3S ἐκεῖD [3]And he put them in ward in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph [was] bound.
[4]καίC συνἵστημιVHI-AAI3SRA-NSM ἀρχιδεσμώτηςN1M-NSMRA-DSM *ιωσηφN--DSM αὐτόςRD-APM καίC παραἵστημιVHI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DPM εἰμίV9-IAI3P δέX ἡμέραN1A-APF ἐνPRA-DSF φυλακήN1-DSF [4]And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them: and they continued a season in ward.
[5]καίC ὁράωVBI-AAI3P ἀμφότεροιA1A-NPM ἐνύπνιονN2N-ASN ἑκάτεροςA1A-NSM ἐνύπνιονN2N-ASN ἐνP εἷςA1A-DSF νύξN3-DSF ὅρασιςN3I-NSFRA-GSN ἐνύπνιονN2N-GSN αὐτόςRD-GSMRA-NSM ἀρχιοινοχόοςN2-NSM καίCRA-NSM ἀρχισιτοποιόςN2-NSM ὅςRR-NPM εἰμίV9-IAI3PRA-DSM βασιλεύςN3V-DSM *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSFRA-NPM εἰμίV9-PAPNPM ἐνPRA-DSN δεσμωτήριονN2N-DSN [5]And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, which [were] bound in the prison.
[6]εἰςἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S δέX πρόςP αὐτόςRD-APM *ιωσηφN--NSMRA-ASN πρωΐD καίC ὁράωVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-APM καίC εἰμίV9-IAI3P ταράσσωVM-XPPNPM [6]And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they [were] sad.
[7]καίC ἐρωτάωV3-IAI3SRA-APM εὐνοῦχοςN2-APM *φαραώN--ASM ὅςRR-NPM εἰμίV9-IAI3P μετάP αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐνPRA-DSF φυλακήN1-DSF παράPRA-DSM κύριοςN2-DSM αὐτόςRD-GSM λέγωV1-PAPNSM τίςRI-ASN ὅτιCRA-APN πρόσωπονN2N-APN σύRP-GP σκυθρωπόςA1B-APN σήμερονD [7]And he asked Pharaoh's officers that [were] with him in the ward of his lord's house, saying, Wherefore look ye [so] sadly to day?
[8]RA-NPM δέX εἶπονVAI-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-DSM ἐνύπνιονN2N-ASN ὁράωVBI-AAI1P καίCRA-NSM συνκρίνωV1-PAPNSM οὐD εἰμίV9-PAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASN εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX αὐτόςRD-DPM *ιωσηφN--NSM οὐD διάPRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSMRA-NSF διασάφησιςN3E-NSF αὐτόςRD-GPM εἰμίV9-PAI3S διαἡγέομαιVA-AMD2P οὖνX ἐγώRP-DS [8]And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and [there is] no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, [Do] not interpretations [belong] to God? tell me [them], I pray you.
[9]καίC διαἡγέομαιVAI-AMI3SRA-NSM ἀρχιοινοχόοςN2-NSMRA-ASN ἐνύπνιονN2N-ASN αὐτόςRD-GSMRA-DSM *ιωσηφN--DSM καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S ἐνPRA-DSM ὕπνοςN2-DSM ἐγώRP-GS εἰμίV9-IAI3S ἄμπελοςN2-NSF ἐναντίονP ἐγώRP-GS [9]And the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, In my dream, behold, a vine [was] before me;
[10]ἐνP δέXRA-DSF ἄμπελοςN2-DSF τρεῖςA3-NPM πυθμήνN3-NPM καίC αὐτόςRD-NSF θάλλωV1-PAPNSF ἀναφέρωVX-XAPNSF βλαστόςN2-APM πέπειροςN2-NPMRA-NPM βότρυςN3-NPM σταφυλήN1-GSF [10]And in the vine [were] three branches: and it [was] as though it budded, [and] her blossoms shot forth; and the clusters thereof brought forth ripe grapes:
[11]καίCRA-NSN ποτήριονN2N-NSN *φαραώN--GSM ἐνPRA-DSF χείρN3-DSF ἐγώRP-GS καίC λαμβάνωVBI-AAI1SRA-ASF σταφυλήN1-ASF καίC ἐκθλίβωVAI-AAI1S αὐτόςRD-ASF εἰςPRA-ASN ποτήριονN2N-ASN καίC δίδωμιVAI-AAI1SRA-ASN ποτήριονN2N-ASN εἰςPRA-APF χείρN3-APF *φαραώN--GSM [11]And Pharaoh's cup [was] in my hand: and I took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh's cup, and I gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand.
[12]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DSM *ιωσηφN--NSM οὗτοςRD-NSNRA-NSF σύγκρισιςN3E-NSF αὐτόςRD-GSMRA-NPM τρεῖςA3-NPM πυθμήνN3-NPM τρεῖςA3-NPM ἡμέραN1A-NPF εἰμίV9-PAI3P [12]And Joseph said unto him, This [is] the interpretation of it: The three branches [are] three days:
[13]ἔτιD τρεῖςA3-NPM ἡμέραN1A-NPF καίC μιμνήσκωVC-FPI3S *φαραώN--GSMRA-GSF ἀρχήN1-GSF σύRP-GS καίC ἀπο καταἵστημιVF-FAI3S σύRP-AS ἐπίPRA-ASF ἀρχιοινοχοΐαN1A-ASF σύRP-GS καίC δίδωμιVF-FAI2SRA-ASN ποτήριονN2N-ASN *φαραώN--GSM εἰςPRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSM κατάPRA-ASF ἀρχήN1-ASF σύRP-GSRA-ASF πρότεροςA1A-ASFC ὡςC εἰμίV9-IAI2S οἰνοχόοςN2-GPM [13]Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh's cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler.
[14]ἀλλάC μιμνήσκωVS-APD2S ἐγώRP-GS διάP σεαυτοῦRD-GSM ὅτανD εὖD σύRP-DS γίγνομαιVB-AMS3S καίC ποιέωVF-FAI2S ἐνP ἐγώRP-DS ἔλεοςN3E-ASN καίC μιμνήσκωVC-FPI2S περίP ἐγώRP-GS *φαραώN--DSM καίC ἐκἄγωVF-FAI2S ἐγώRP-AS ἐκPRA-GSN ὀχύρωμαN3W-GSN οὗτοςRD-GSM [14]But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:
[15]ὅτιC κλοπήN1-DSF κλέπτωVDI-API1S ἐκP γῆN1-GSF *εβραῖοςN2-GPM καίC ὧδεD οὐD ποιέωVAI-AAI1S οὐδείςA3-ASN ἀλλάC ἐνβάλλωVBI-AAI3P ἐγώRP-AS εἰςPRA-ASM λάκκοςN2-ASM οὗτοςRD-ASM [15]For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.
[16]καίC ὁράωVBI-AAI3SRA-NSM ἀρχισιτοποιόςN2-NSM ὅτιC ὀρθῶςD συνκρίνωVAI-AAI3S καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3SRA-DSM *ιωσηφN--DSM καΐἐγώC+RPNS ὁράωVBI-AAI3P ἐνύπνιονN2N-ASN καίC οἴομαιV1I-IMI1S τρεῖςA3-APN κανοῦνN2N-APN χονδρίτηςN1M-GPM αἴρωV1-PAN ἐπίPRA-GSF κεφαλήN1-GSF ἐγώRP-GS [16]When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said unto Joseph, I also [was] in my dream, and, behold, [I had] three white baskets on my head:
[17]ἐνP δέXRA-DSN κανοῦνN2N-DSNRA-DSN ἐπάνωD ἀπόP πᾶςA3-GPNRA-GPN γένοςN3E-GPN ὅςRR-GPMRA-NSM βασιλεύςN3V-NSM *φαραώN--NSM ἐσθίωV1-PAI3S ἔργονN2N-ASN σιτοποιόςA1B-GSM καίCRA-NPN πετεινόνN2N-NPNRA-GSM οὐρανόςN2-GSM καταἐσθίωV1I-IAI3S αὐτόςRD-APN ἀπόPRA-GSN κανοῦνN2N-GSNRA-GSN ἐπάνωPRA-GSF κεφαλήN1-GSF ἐγώRP-GS [17]And in the uppermost basket [there was] of all manner of bakemeats for Pharaoh; and the birds did eat them out of the basket upon my head.
[18]ἀποκρίνωVC-APPNSM δέX *ιωσηφN--NSM εἶπονVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DSM οὗτοςRD-NSFRA-NSF σύγκρισιςN3E-NSF αὐτόςRD-GSMRA-NPN τρεῖςA3-NPN κανοῦνN2N-NPN τρεῖςA3-NPM ἡμέραN1A-NPF εἰμίV9-PAI3P [18]And Joseph answered and said, This [is] the interpretation thereof: The three baskets [are] three days:
[19]ἔτιD τρεῖςA3-GPF ἡμέραN1A-GPF ἀποαἱρέωVF2-FAI3S *φαραώN--NSMRA-ASF κεφαλήN1-ASF σύRP-GS ἀπόP σύRP-GS καίC κρεμάζωVF-FAI3S σύRP-AS ἐπίP ξύλονN2N-GSN καίC ἐσθίωVF-FMI3SRA-NPN ὄρνεονN2N-NPNRA-GSM οὐρανόςN2-GSMRA-APF σάρξN3K-APF σύRP-GS ἀπόP σύRP-GS [19]Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee.
[20]γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S δέX ἐνPRA-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSFRA-DSF τρίτοςA1-DSF ἡμέραN1A-NSF γένεσιςN3I-GSF εἰμίV9-IAI3S *φαραώN--GSM καίC ποιέωV2I-IAI3S πότοςA1-ASM πᾶςA3-DPMRA-DPM παῖςN3D-DPM αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC μιμνήσκωVSI-API3SRA-GSF ἀρχήN1-GSFRA-GSM ἀρχιοινοχόοςN2-GSM καίCRA-GSF ἀρχήN1-GSFRA-GSM ἀρχισιτοποιόςN2-GSM ἐνP μέσοςA1-DSMRA-GPM παῖςN3D-GPM αὐτόςRD-GSM [20]And it came to pass the third day, [which was] Pharaoh's birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants.
[21]καίC ἀπο καταἵστημιVHI-AAI3SRA-ASM ἀρχιοινοχόοςN2-ASM ἐπίPRA-ASF ἀρχήN1-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC δίδωμιVAI-AAI3SRA-ASN ποτήριονN2N-ASN εἰςPRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF *φαραώN--GSM [21]And he restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand:
[22]RA-ASM δέX ἀρχισιτοποιόςN2-ASM κράννυμιVAI-AAI3S καθάD συνκρίνωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DPM *ιωσηφN--NSM [22]But he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them.
[23]οὐD μιμνήσκωVSI-API3S δέXRA-NSM ἀρχιοινοχόοςN2-NSMRA-GSM *ιωσηφN--NSM ἀλλάC ἐπιλανθάνωVBI-AMI3S αὐτόςRD-GSM [23]Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him.
