[1]And it came to pass after these things, [that] the butler of the king of Egypt and [his] baker had offended their lord the king of Egypt. |
[2]καίC ὀργίζωVSI-API3S *φαραώN--NSM ἐπίP ὁRA-DPM δύοM--DPM εὐνοῦχοςN2-DPM αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐπίP ὁRA-DSM ἀρχιοινοχόοςN2-DSM καίC ἐπίP ὁRA-DSM ἀρχισιτοποιόςN2-DSM |
[2]And Pharaoh was wroth against two [of] his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers. |
[3]καίC τίθημιVEI-AMI3S αὐτόςRD-APM ἐνP φυλακήN1-DSF παράP ὁRA-DSM δεσμοφύλαξN3K-DSM εἰςP ὁRA-ASN δεσμωτήριονN2N-ASN εἰςP ὁRA-ASM τόποςN2-ASM οὗD *ιωσηφN--NSM ἀποἄγωVMI-YMI3S ἐκεῖD |
[3]And he put them in ward in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph [was] bound. |
[4]καίC συνἵστημιVHI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM ἀρχιδεσμώτηςN1M-NSM ὁRA-DSM *ιωσηφN--DSM αὐτόςRD-APM καίC παραἵστημιVHI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DPM εἰμίV9-IAI3P δέX ἡμέραN1A-APF ἐνP ὁRA-DSF φυλακήN1-DSF |
[4]And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them: and they continued a season in ward. |
[5]καίC ὁράωVBI-AAI3P ἀμφότεροιA1A-NPM ἐνύπνιονN2N-ASN ἑκάτεροςA1A-NSM ἐνύπνιονN2N-ASN ἐνP εἷςA1A-DSF νύξN3-DSF ὅρασιςN3I-NSF ὁRA-GSN ἐνύπνιονN2N-GSN αὐτόςRD-GSM ὁRA-NSM ἀρχιοινοχόοςN2-NSM καίC ὁRA-NSM ἀρχισιτοποιόςN2-NSM ὅςRR-NPM εἰμίV9-IAI3P ὁRA-DSM βασιλεύςN3V-DSM *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF ὁRA-NPM εἰμίV9-PAPNPM ἐνP ὁRA-DSN δεσμωτήριονN2N-DSN |
[5]And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, which [were] bound in the prison. |
[6]εἰςἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S δέX πρόςP αὐτόςRD-APM *ιωσηφN--NSM ὁRA-ASN πρωΐD καίC ὁράωVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-APM καίC εἰμίV9-IAI3P ταράσσωVM-XPPNPM |
[6]And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they [were] sad. |
[7]καίC ἐρωτάωV3-IAI3S ὁRA-APM εὐνοῦχοςN2-APM *φαραώN--ASM ὅςRR-NPM εἰμίV9-IAI3P μετάP αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐνP ὁRA-DSF φυλακήN1-DSF παράP ὁRA-DSM κύριοςN2-DSM αὐτόςRD-GSM λέγωV1-PAPNSM τίςRI-ASN ὅτιC ὁRA-APN πρόσωπονN2N-APN σύRP-GP σκυθρωπόςA1B-APN σήμερονD |
[7]And he asked Pharaoh's officers that [were] with him in the ward of his lord's house, saying, Wherefore look ye [so] sadly to day? |
[8]ὁRA-NPM δέX εἶπονVAI-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-DSM ἐνύπνιονN2N-ASN ὁράωVBI-AAI1P καίC ὁRA-NSM συνκρίνωV1-PAPNSM οὐD εἰμίV9-PAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASN εἶπονVBI-AAI3S δέX αὐτόςRD-DPM *ιωσηφN--NSM οὐD διάP ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM ὁRA-NSF διασάφησιςN3E-NSF αὐτόςRD-GPM εἰμίV9-PAI3S διαἡγέομαιVA-AMD2P οὖνX ἐγώRP-DS |
[8]And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and [there is] no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, [Do] not interpretations [belong] to God? tell me [them], I pray you. |
[9]καίC διαἡγέομαιVAI-AMI3S ὁRA-NSM ἀρχιοινοχόοςN2-NSM ὁRA-ASN ἐνύπνιονN2N-ASN αὐτόςRD-GSM ὁRA-DSM *ιωσηφN--DSM καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S ἐνP ὁRA-DSM ὕπνοςN2-DSM ἐγώRP-GS εἰμίV9-IAI3S ἄμπελοςN2-NSF ἐναντίονP ἐγώRP-GS |
[9]And the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, In my dream, behold, a vine [was] before me; |
[10]ἐνP δέX ὁRA-DSF ἄμπελοςN2-DSF τρεῖςA3-NPM πυθμήνN3-NPM καίC αὐτόςRD-NSF θάλλωV1-PAPNSF ἀναφέρωVX-XAPNSF βλαστόςN2-APM πέπειροςN2-NPM ὁRA-NPM βότρυςN3-NPM σταφυλήN1-GSF |
[10]And in the vine [were] three branches: and it [was] as though it budded, [and] her blossoms shot forth; and the clusters thereof brought forth ripe grapes: |
[11]καίC ὁRA-NSN ποτήριονN2N-NSN *φαραώN--GSM ἐνP ὁRA-DSF χείρN3-DSF ἐγώRP-GS καίC λαμβάνωVBI-AAI1S ὁRA-ASF σταφυλήN1-ASF καίC ἐκθλίβωVAI-AAI1S αὐτόςRD-ASF εἰςP ὁRA-ASN ποτήριονN2N-ASN καίC δίδωμιVAI-AAI1S ὁRA-ASN ποτήριονN2N-ASN εἰςP ὁRA-APF χείρN3-APF *φαραώN--GSM |
[11]And Pharaoh's cup [was] in my hand: and I took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh's cup, and I gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand. |
[12]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DSM *ιωσηφN--NSM οὗτοςRD-NSN ὁRA-NSF σύγκρισιςN3E-NSF αὐτόςRD-GSM ὁRA-NPM τρεῖςA3-NPM πυθμήνN3-NPM τρεῖςA3-NPM ἡμέραN1A-NPF εἰμίV9-PAI3P |
[12]And Joseph said unto him, This [is] the interpretation of it: The three branches [are] three days: |
[13]ἔτιD τρεῖςA3-NPM ἡμέραN1A-NPF καίC μιμνήσκωVC-FPI3S *φαραώN--GSM ὁRA-GSF ἀρχήN1-GSF σύRP-GS καίC ἀπο καταἵστημιVF-FAI3S σύRP-AS ἐπίP ὁRA-ASF ἀρχιοινοχοΐαN1A-ASF σύRP-GS καίC δίδωμιVF-FAI2S ὁRA-ASN ποτήριονN2N-ASN *φαραώN--GSM εἰςP ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSM κατάP ὁRA-ASF ἀρχήN1-ASF σύRP-GS ὁRA-ASF πρότεροςA1A-ASFC ὡςC εἰμίV9-IAI2S οἰνοχόοςN2-GPM |
[13]Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh's cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler. |
[14]ἀλλάC μιμνήσκωVS-APD2S ἐγώRP-GS διάP σεαυτοῦRD-GSM ὅτανD εὖD σύRP-DS γίγνομαιVB-AMS3S καίC ποιέωVF-FAI2S ἐνP ἐγώRP-DS ἔλεοςN3E-ASN καίC μιμνήσκωVC-FPI2S περίP ἐγώRP-GS *φαραώN--DSM καίC ἐκἄγωVF-FAI2S ἐγώRP-AS ἐκP ὁRA-GSN ὀχύρωμαN3W-GSN οὗτοςRD-GSM |
[14]But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house: |
[15]ὅτιC κλοπήN1-DSF κλέπτωVDI-API1S ἐκP γῆN1-GSF *εβραῖοςN2-GPM καίC ὧδεD οὐD ποιέωVAI-AAI1S οὐδείςA3-ASN ἀλλάC ἐνβάλλωVBI-AAI3P ἐγώRP-AS εἰςP ὁRA-ASM λάκκοςN2-ASM οὗτοςRD-ASM |
[15]For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon. |
[16]καίC ὁράωVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM ἀρχισιτοποιόςN2-NSM ὅτιC ὀρθῶςD συνκρίνωVAI-AAI3S καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S ὁRA-DSM *ιωσηφN--DSM καΐἐγώC+RPNS ὁράωVBI-AAI3P ἐνύπνιονN2N-ASN καίC οἴομαιV1I-IMI1S τρεῖςA3-APN κανοῦνN2N-APN χονδρίτηςN1M-GPM αἴρωV1-PAN ἐπίP ὁRA-GSF κεφαλήN1-GSF ἐγώRP-GS |
[16]When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said unto Joseph, I also [was] in my dream, and, behold, [I had] three white baskets on my head: |
[17]ἐνP δέX ὁRA-DSN κανοῦνN2N-DSN ὁRA-DSN ἐπάνωD ἀπόP πᾶςA3-GPN ὁRA-GPN γένοςN3E-GPN ὅςRR-GPM ὁRA-NSM βασιλεύςN3V-NSM *φαραώN--NSM ἐσθίωV1-PAI3S ἔργονN2N-ASN σιτοποιόςA1B-GSM καίC ὁRA-NPN πετεινόνN2N-NPN ὁRA-GSM οὐρανόςN2-GSM καταἐσθίωV1I-IAI3S αὐτόςRD-APN ἀπόP ὁRA-GSN κανοῦνN2N-GSN ὁRA-GSN ἐπάνωP ὁRA-GSF κεφαλήN1-GSF ἐγώRP-GS |
[17]And in the uppermost basket [there was] of all manner of bakemeats for Pharaoh; and the birds did eat them out of the basket upon my head. |
[18]ἀποκρίνωVC-APPNSM δέX *ιωσηφN--NSM εἶπονVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DSM οὗτοςRD-NSF ὁRA-NSF σύγκρισιςN3E-NSF αὐτόςRD-GSM ὁRA-NPN τρεῖςA3-NPN κανοῦνN2N-NPN τρεῖςA3-NPM ἡμέραN1A-NPF εἰμίV9-PAI3P |
[18]And Joseph answered and said, This [is] the interpretation thereof: The three baskets [are] three days: |
[19]ἔτιD τρεῖςA3-GPF ἡμέραN1A-GPF ἀποαἱρέωVF2-FAI3S *φαραώN--NSM ὁRA-ASF κεφαλήN1-ASF σύRP-GS ἀπόP σύRP-GS καίC κρεμάζωVF-FAI3S σύRP-AS ἐπίP ξύλονN2N-GSN καίC ἐσθίωVF-FMI3S ὁRA-NPN ὄρνεονN2N-NPN ὁRA-GSM οὐρανόςN2-GSM ὁRA-APF σάρξN3K-APF σύRP-GS ἀπόP σύRP-GS |
[19]Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee. |
[20]γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S δέX ἐνP ὁRA-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSF ὁRA-DSF τρίτοςA1-DSF ἡμέραN1A-NSF γένεσιςN3I-GSF εἰμίV9-IAI3S *φαραώN--GSM καίC ποιέωV2I-IAI3S πότοςA1-ASM πᾶςA3-DPM ὁRA-DPM παῖςN3D-DPM αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC μιμνήσκωVSI-API3S ὁRA-GSF ἀρχήN1-GSF ὁRA-GSM ἀρχιοινοχόοςN2-GSM καίC ὁRA-GSF ἀρχήN1-GSF ὁRA-GSM ἀρχισιτοποιόςN2-GSM ἐνP μέσοςA1-DSM ὁRA-GPM παῖςN3D-GPM αὐτόςRD-GSM |
[20]And it came to pass the third day, [which was] Pharaoh's birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants. |
[21]καίC ἀπο καταἵστημιVHI-AAI3S ὁRA-ASM ἀρχιοινοχόοςN2-ASM ἐπίP ὁRA-ASF ἀρχήN1-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC δίδωμιVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-ASN ποτήριονN2N-ASN εἰςP ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF *φαραώN--GSM |
[21]And he restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand: |
[22]ὁRA-ASM δέX ἀρχισιτοποιόςN2-ASM κράννυμιVAI-AAI3S καθάD συνκρίνωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DPM *ιωσηφN--NSM |
[22]But he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them. |
[23]οὐD μιμνήσκωVSI-API3S δέX ὁRA-NSM ἀρχιοινοχόοςN2-NSM ὁRA-GSM *ιωσηφN--NSM ἀλλάC ἐπιλανθάνωVBI-AMI3S αὐτόςRD-GSM |
[23]Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him. |
