[1]RA-NSN λῆμμαN3M-NSN ὅςRR-ASN ὁράωVBI-AAI3S *αμβακουμN--NSMRA-NSM προφήτηςN1M-NSM [1]The burden which Habakkuk the prophet did see.
[2]ἕωςP τίςRI-GSM κύριοςN2-VSM κράζωVFX-FMI1S καίC οὐD μήD εἰςἀκούωVA-AAS2S βοάωVF-FMI1S πρόςP σύRP-AS ἀδικέωV2-PPPNSM καίC οὐD σώζωVF-FAI2S [2]O LORD, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save!
[3]ἵναC τίςRI-ASN ἐγώRP-DS δεικνύωVAI-AAI2S κόποςN2-APM καίC πόνοςN2-APM ἐπιβλέπωV1-PAN ταλαιπωρίαN1A-ASF καίC ἀσέβειαN1A-ASF ἐκP ἐναντίοςA1A-GSF ἐγώRP-GS γίγνομαιVX-XAI3S κρίσιςN3I-NSF καίCRA-NSM κριτήςN1M-NSM λαμβάνωV1-PAI3S [3]Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention.
[4]διάP οὗτοςRD-ASN διασκεδάζωVT-XMI3S νόμοςN2-NSM καίC οὐD δια ἐκἄγωV1-PMI3S εἰςP τέλοςN3E-ASN κρίμαN3M-NSN ὅτιCRA-NSM ἀσεβήςA3H-NSM καταδυναστεύωV1-PAI3SRA-ASM δίκαιοςA1A-ASM ἕνεκενP οὗτοςRD-GSN ἐκἔρχομαιVF-FMI3SRA-NSN κρίμαN3M-NSN διαστρέφωVP-XMPNSN [4]Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.
[5]ὁράωVB-AAD2PRA-VPM καταφρονητήςN1M-VPM καίC ἐπιβλέπωVA-AAD2P καίC θαυμάζωVA-AAD2P θαυμάσιοςA1A-APN καίC ἀπο ἀναἵζωVS-APD2P διότιC ἔργονN2N-ASN ἐγώRP-NS ἐργάζομαιV1-PMI1S ἐνPRA-DPF ἡμέραN1A-DPF σύRP-GP ὅςRR-ASN οὐD μήD πιστεύωVA-AAS2P ἐάνC τιςRI-NSM ἐκ διαἡγέομαιV2-PMS3S [5]Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvelously: for I will work a work in your days which ye will not believe, though it be told you.
[6]διότιC ἰδούI ἐγώRP-NS ἐκἐγείρωV1-PAI1S ἐπίP σύRP-APRA-APM *χαλδαῖοςN2-APMRA-APM μαχητήςN1M-APMRA-ASN ἔθνοςN3E-ASNRA-ASN πικρόςA1A-ASM καίCRA-ASN ταχινόςA1-ASNRA-ASN πορεύομαιV1-PMPASN ἐπίPRA-APN πλάτοςN3E-APNRA-GSF γῆN1-GSFRA-GSN κατακληρονομέωVA-AAN σκήνωμαN3M-APN οὐD αὐτόςRD-GSN [6]For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not their's.
[7]φοβερόςA1A-NSM καίC ἐπιφανήςA3H-NSM εἰμίV9-PAI3S ἐκP αὐτόςRD-GSMRA-NSN κρίμαN3M-NSN αὐτόςRD-GSM εἰμίV9-FMI3S καίCRA-NSN λῆμμαN3M-NSN αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐκP αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐκἔρχομαιVF-FMI3S [7]They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves.
[8]καίC ἐκἅλλομαιVF2-FMI3P ὑπέρP πάρδαλιςN3I-APFRA-NPM ἵπποςN2-NPM αὐτόςRD-GSN καίC ὀξύςA1A-NPMC ὑπέρPRA-APM λύκοςN2-APMRA-GSF *ἀραβίαN1A-GSF καίC ἐκἱππάζομαιVF-FMI3PRA-NPM ἱππεύςN3V-NPM αὐτόςRD-GSN καίC ὁρμάωVF-FAI3P μακρόθενD καίC πέτομαιVC-FPI3P ὡςC ἀετόςN2-NSM πρόθυμοςA1B-NSM εἰςPRA-ASN ἐσθίωVB-AAN [8]Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat.
[9]συντέλειαN1A-NSF εἰςP ἀσεβήςA3H-NPM ἥκωVF-FAI3S ἀντιἵστημιVXI-XAPAPM πρόσωπονN2N-DPN αὐτόςRD-GPM ἐκP ἐναντίοςA1A-GSF καίC συνἄγωVF-FAI3S ὡςC ἄμμοςN2-ASF αἰχμαλωσίαN1A-ASF [9]They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.
[10]καίC αὐτόςRD-NSM ἐνP βασιλεύςN3V-DPM ἐντρυφάωVF-FAI3S καίC τύραννοςN2-NPM παίγνιονN2N-NPN αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC αὐτόςRD-NSM εἰςP πᾶςA3-ASN ὀχύρωμαN3M-ASN ἐνπαίζωVF-FMI3S καίC βάλλωVF2-FAI3S χῶμαN2N-ASN καίC κρατέωVF-FAI3S αὐτόςRD-GSN [10]And they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it.
[11]τότεD μεταβάλλωVF2-FAI3SRA-ASN πνεῦμαN3M-ASN καίC διαἔρχομαιVF-FMI3S καίC ἐκἱλάσκομαιVF-FMI3S οὗτοςRD-NSFRA-NSF ἰσχύςN3-NSFRA-DSM θεόςN2-DSM ἐγώRP-GS [11]Then shall his mind change, and he shall pass over, and offend, imputing this his power unto his god.
[12]οὐD σύRP-NS ἀπόP ἀρχήN1-GSF κύριοςN2-VSMRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSMRA-NSM ἅγιοςA1A-NSM ἐγώRP-GS καίC οὐD μήD ἀποθνήσκωVB-AAS1P κύριοςN2-VSM εἰςP κρίμαN3M-ASN τάσσωVX-XAI2S αὐτόςRD-ASM καίC πλάσσωVAI-AAI3S ἐγώRP-ASRA-GSN ἐλέγχωV1-PAN παιδείαN1A-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSM [12]Art thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.
[13]καθαρόςA1A-NSM ὀφθαλμόςN2-NSMRA-GSM μήD ὁράωV3-PAN πονηρόςA1A-APN καίC ἐπιβλέπωV1-PAN ἐπίP πόνοςN2-APM οὐD δύναμαιVF-FMI2S ἵναC τίςRI-ASN ἐπιβλέπωV1-PAI2S ἐπίP καταφρονέωV2-PAPAPM παρασιωπάωVF-FMI2S ἐνPRA-DSN καταπίνωV1-PAN ἀσεβήςA3H-ASMRA-ASM δίκαιοςA1A-ASM [13]Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?
[14]καίC ποιέωVF-FAI2SRA-APM ἄνθρωποςN2-APM ὡςCRA-APM ἰχθύςN3U-APMRA-GSF θάλασσαN1S-GSF καίC ὡςCRA-APN ἑρπετόνN2N-APNRA-APN οὐD ἔχωV1-PAPAPN ἡγέομαιV2-PMPASM [14]And makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them?
[15]συντέλειαN1A-ASF ἐνP ἄγκιστρονN2N-DSN ἀνασπάωVAI-AAI3S καίC ἕλκωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASM ἐνP ἀμφίβληστρονN2N-DSN καίC συνἄγωVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASM ἐνPRA-DPF σαγήναN1-DPF αὐτόςRD-GSM ἕνεκενP οὗτοςRD-GSN εὐφραίνωVC-FPI3S καίC χαίρωVD-FPI3SRA-NSF καρδίαN1A-NSF αὐτόςRD-GSM [15]They take up all of them with the angle, they catch them in their net, and gather them in their drag: therefore they rejoice and are glad.
[16]ἕνεκενP οὗτοςRD-GSM θύωVF-FAI3SRA-DSF σαγήνηN1-DSF αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC θυμιάωVF-FAI3SRA-DSN ἀμφίβληστρονN2N-DSN αὐτόςRD-GSM ὅτιC ἐνP αὐτόςRD-DPM λιπαίνωVAI-AAI3S μερίςN3D-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSM καίCRA-APN βρῶμαN3M-APN αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐκλεκτόςA1-APN [16]Therefore they sacrifice unto their net, and burn incense unto their drag; because by them their portion is fat, and their meat plenteous.
[17]διάP οὗτοςRD-ASN ἀμφιβάλλωVF2-FAI3SRA-ASN ἀμφίβληστρονN2N-ASN αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC διάP πᾶςA3-GSN ἀποκτείνωV1-PAN ἔθνοςN3E-APN οὐD φείδομαιVF-FMI3S [17]Shall they therefore empty their net, and not spare continually to slay the nations?
