[1]Let us fear therefore lest while stands the promise of entrance into His rest should be found a man of you come short of entering |
[1]Let us fear, therefore, lest, while there is a confirmed promise of an entrance into his rest, any one shall be found among you remaining from entering in. |
[2]Also we for we were evangelized as that also those but not benefited thoseNwnhl (them the word that heard because that not joined it was with faith to those who heard it |
[2]For we have been evangelized as well as they: but the word which they heard did not profit them, because not contempered with faith in them who heard it. |
[3]We entering but into rest are who we who believe just as but He said as I swore in my anger that not they shall enter My rest for behold the works of Alaha from the foundation of the world have been |
[3]But we enter into the rest, we [being of] those [who] have believed. But as He hath said, So I sware in my wrath, that they should not enter into my rest: for, behold, the works of Aloha from the beginning of the world were. |
[4]According to what He said about The Sabbath "rested Alaha on the day seventh from His works all of them" |
[4]As he said concerning the shabath, God rested on the seventh day from all his works. |
[5]And here again He said that not they shall enter My rest |
[5]Yet here again he saith, They shall not enter into my rest. |
[6]Because therefore there existed has a place that each man may enter himself and those who were evangelized first not entered in that not they were convinced |
[6]Therefore, because there was a placeⓘ into which every one of them might have entered, and they who had it announced first did not enter in, forasmuch as they would not be persuaded; |
[7]Again day another He appointed from after times many just as that from above it is written that said David "today if to His voice you will listen not harden your hearts |
[7]Moreover, [as] another day he appointeth, after much time; as above it is written, that David hath said, To-day if his voice ye will hear, harden not your hearts; |
[8]If for Ieshu son Nun given rest had them not spoken He would have from afterward about day another |
[8]But if Jeshu-bar-Nun had established them in rest,ⓘ he [would] not have spoken afterwards of another day: |
[9]So then remains it to keep the Sabbath for the people of Alaha |
[9]Therefore, yet to enjoy a shabathismⓘ is confirmed to the people of Aloha. |
[10]Whoever for enters His rest has rested also he from his works as Alaha from His own |
[10]For he who is entered into his rest hath also reposed himself from his works, as Aloha [did] from his. |
[11]Let us take pains therefore to enter to that rest lest we fall in the manner of those who not were persuaded |
[11]Let us, therefore, anxiously endeavour to enter into that rest, that we fall not after the manner of those who were not persuaded. |
[12]Is living that for the word of Alaha and all efficient and sharper much than a sword double mouthed pierces unto the separation of soul and of spirit and of joints and marrow and of bones and judges the reasoning and conscience of the heart |
[12]For living is the Word of Aloha, and all-acting, and more penetrating than a two-edged sword,ⓘ and entereth to the separation of the soul and the spirit, and of the joints, and of the marrow, and the bones, and discerneth the reasonings and counsel of the heart. |
[13]And there is not a created thing that is hidden from before Him but every thing is naked and open before the eyes of Him to Whom we give an account |
[13]Neither is there any creature that is concealed from before him; but every thing [is] naked and manifest before his eyes, to whom they shall give account.ⓘ |
[14]Because there is to us therefore high a priest great Ieshu The Messiah The Son of Alaha Who has ascended to Heaven let us hold fast to His confession |
[14]THEREFORE having such a great High Priest, Jeshu Meshiha, the Son of Aloha, who hath ascended to heaven, let us persevere in the confession of him. |
[15]Not for He is for us a High Priest Who not can suffer with our weaknesses but Who was tried in all things like us apart from sin |
[15]For we have not an high priest who cannot suffer along with our infirmity, but [one] who, [having been] tempted in every thing as we, [was] separate from sin. |
[16]Let us come therefore with open eyes to the throne of His grace to receive mercy and we shall find grace to help in a time of suffering |
[16]Let us therefore approach with confidenceⓘ to the throne of his grace, that we may receive mercy,ⓘ and find grace for help in the time of affliction. |
