Peshitta NT (literal)
PesNT(lit)
Reconstruction of Beza's Greek Textus-Receptus NT (1598)
Beza GNT
[1]Every High priest for who from children of men was for the sake of men is appointed over the things that of Alaha are to present offerings and sacrifices for the sake of sin [1]Πᾶς γὰρ ἀρχιερεὺς, ἐξ ἀνθρώπων λαμβανόμενος, ὑπὲρ ἀνθρώπων καθίσταται τὰ πρὸς τὸν Θεόν, ἵνα προσφέρῃ δῶρά τε καὶ θυσίας ὑπὲρ ἁμαρτιῶν·
[2]He who can humble himself and suffer with those who not know and the erring because that also he in weakness is clothed
[3]For his sake owes a debt he that as for the sake of people in this way also for the sake of himself to present for his sins [3]καὶ διὰ ταὐτὴν ὀφείλει καθὼς περὶ τοῦ λαοῦ, οὕτω καὶ περὶ ἑαυτοῦ προσφέρειν ὑπὲρ ἁμαρτιῶν.
[4]And not it was for himself a man took the honor but he who was called from Alaha just as Aaron [4]Καὶ οὐχ ἑαυτῷ τις λαμβάνει τὴν τιμήν, ἀλλὰ ὁ καλούμενος ὑπὸ τοῦ Θεοῦ, καθάπερ καὶ ὁ Ἀαρών·
[5]So also The Messiah not did His Soul glorify to be High Priest but He Who said to Him "My Son You are I today I have begotten You [5]οὕτω καὶ ὁ Χριστὸς οὐχ ἑαυτὸν ἐδόξασε γενηθῆναι ἀρχιερέα, ἀλλ’ ὁ λαλήσας πρὸς αὐτόν, Υἱός μου εἶ σύ, ἐγὼ σήμερον γεγέννηκά σε.
[6]As that also in place another He said "You are a Priest to eternity in the image of Melkizedeq [6]καθὼς καὶ ἐν ἑτέρῳ λέγει, Σὺ ἱερεὺς εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα κατὰ τὴν τάξιν Μελχισέδεκ.
[7]Also while in flesh clothed He was prayers and supplications in shouting strong and in tears offered He to Him Who able was from death to give Him life and He was obeyed [7]ὃς ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις τῆς σαρκὸς αὐτοῦ, δεήσεις τε καὶ ἱκετηρίας πρὸς τὸν δυνάμενον σῴζειν αὐτὸν ἐκ θανάτου μετὰ κραυγῆς ἰσχυρᾶς καὶ δακρύων προσενέγκας, καὶ εἰσακουσθεὶς ἀπὸ τῆς εὐλαβείας,
[8]And while although The Son He is from the fear and the suffering which He endured He learned obedience
[9]And in this way He was perfected and became to all those who obey Him The Cause of life eternal [9]καὶ τελειωθεὶς ἐγένετο τοῖς ὑπακούουσιν αὐτῷ πᾶσιν αἴτιος σωτηρίας αἰωνίου·
[10]And He was named from Alaha High Priest in the image of Melkizedeq
[11]About Him but about this Melkizedeq much are to us discourse to say and it is hard to explain it because you are to you infirm in your hearing
[12]Ought you for teachers to be because of the time to you in the teaching now but again need you to learn those things which are the letters primer of the first words of Alaha and you were to you in need of milk and not of food solid [12]καὶ γὰρ ὀφείλοντες εἶναι διδάσκαλοι, διὰ τὸν χρόνον, πάλιν χρείαν ἔχετε τοῦ διδάσκειν ὑμᾶς, τινὰ τὰ στοιχεῖα τῆς ἀρχῆς τῶν λογίων τοῦ Θεοῦ· καὶ γεγόνατε χρείαν ἔχοντες γάλακτος, καὶ οὐ στερεᾶς τροφῆς.
[13]Every person but whose food milk is not is acquainted in the word of righteousness because an infant he is [13]πᾶς γὰρ ὁ μετέχων γάλακτος ἄπειρος λόγου δικαιοσύνης· νήπιος γάρ ἐστι.
[14]For the mature is but food solid those who because they practice are instructed in their senses to distinguish good and evil
