[4]λαλέωV2-PAPNSM ῥῆμαN3M-APN πρόφασιςN3I-APF ψευδήςA3H-APF διατίθημιVF-FMI3S διαθήκηN1-ASF ἀνατέλλωVF2-FAI3S ὡςC ἄγρωστιςN3I-NSF κρίμαN3M-NSN ἐπίP χέρσοςN2-ASF ἀγρόςN2-GSM [4]They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant: thus judgment groweth as wormwood in the furrows of the field.
[5]RA-DSM μόσχοςN2-DSMRA-GSM οἶκοςN2-GSM *ωνN--GS παραοἰκέωVF-FAI3PRA-NPM καταοἰκέωV2-PAPNPM *σαμαρίαN1A-ASF ὅτιC πενθέωVAI-AAI3SRA-NSM λαόςN2-NSM αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-ASM καίC καθώςD παραπικραίνωVAI-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-ASM ἐπιχαίρωVF2-FMI3P ἐπίPRA-ASF δόξαN1S-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSM ὅτιC μεταοἰκίζωVSI-API3S ἀπόP αὐτόςRD-GSM [5]The inhabitants of Samaria shall fear because of the calf of Beth-aven: for the people thereof shall mourn over it, and the Chemarims thereof, that rejoiced on it for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it.
[6]καίC αὐτόςRD-ASM εἰςP *ἀσσύριοςN2-APM δέωVA-AAPNPM ἀποφέρωVAI-AAI3P ξενίαN1A-NSFRA-DSM βασιλεύςN3V-DSM *ιαριμN--DSM ἐνP δόμαN3M-DSN *ἐφράιμN--NSM δέχομαιVF-FMI3S καίC αἰσχύνωVC-FPI3S *ἰσραήλN--NSM ἐνPRA-DSF βουλήN1-DSF αὐτόςRD-GSM [6]It shall be also brought to Assyria, for a present unto king Jareb: Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.
[7]ἀποῥίπτωVAI-AAI3S *σαμαρίαN1A-NSF βασιλεύςN3V-ASM αὐτόςRD-GSF ὡςC φρύγανονN2N-ASN ἐπίP πρόσωπονN2N-GSN ὕδωρN3T-GSN [7]Of Samaria, the king thereof is destroyed as the foam upon the water.
[8]καίC ἐκαἴρωVC-FPI3P βωμόςN2-NPM *ωνN--G ἁμάρτημαN3M-NPNRA-GSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM ἄκανθαN1A-NPF καίC τρίβολοςN2-NPM ἀναβαίνωVF-FMI3P ἐπίPRA-APN θυσιαστήριονN2N-APN αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC εἶπονVF2-FAI3PRA-DPN ὄροςN3E-DPN καλύπτωVA-AAD2P ἐγώRP-AP καίCRA-DPM βουνόςN2-DPM πίπτωVB-AAD2P ἐπίP ἐγώRP-AP [8]The high places also of Aven shall be destroyed, even the sin of Israel: the thorn and the thistle shall grow upon their altars, and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us, and to the hills, Fall upon us.
[9]ἀπόP ὅςRR-GSMRA-NPM βουνόςN2-NPM ἁμαρτάνωVBI-AAI3S *ἰσραήλN--NSM ἐκεῖD ἵστημιVAI-AAI3P οὐD μήD καταλαμβάνωVB-AAS3S αὐτόςRD-APM ἐνPRA-DSM βουνόςN2-DSM πόλεμοςN2-NSM ἐπίPRA-APN τέκνονN2N-APN ἀδικίαN1A-GSF [9]O Israel, thou hast sinned from the days of Gibeah: there they stood: the battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity did not touch them.
[10]ἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S παιδεύωVA-AAN αὐτόςRD-APM καίC συνἄγωVQ-FPI3P ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-APM λαόςN2-NPM ἐνPRA-DSN παιδεύωV1-PMN αὐτόςRD-APM ἐνPRA-DPF δύοM--DPF ἀδικίαN1A-DPF αὐτόςRD-GPM [10]It is my desire that I should chastise them, and the people shall be gathered against them, when they shall gather themselves in their two furrows.
[11]*ἐφράιμN--NSM δάμαλιςN3I-NSF διδάσκωVK-XPPNSF ἀγαπάωV3-PAN νεῖκοςN3E-ASN ἐγώRP-NS δέX ἐπιἔρχομαιVF-FMI1S ἐπίPRA-ASN καλόςA1-ASMSRA-GSM τράχηλοςN2-GSM αὐτόςRD-GSF ἐπιβιβάζωVF2-FAI1S *ἐφράιμN--ASM καίC παρασιωπάωVF-FMI1S *ἰούδαςN1T-ASM ἐνἰσχύωVF-FAI3S αὐτόςRD-DSM *ἰακώβN--NSM [11]And Ephraim is as an heifer used to delight in threshing: but I will pass by her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride: Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.
[12]σπείρωVA-AAD2P ἑαυτοῦRD-DPM εἰςP δικαιοσύνηN1-ASF τρυγάωVA-AAD2P εἰςP καρπόςN2-ASM ζωήN1-GSF φωτίζωVA-AAD2P ἑαυτοῦRD-DPM φῶςN3T-ASN γνῶσιςN3I-GSF ἐκζητέωVA-AAD2PRA-ASM κύριοςN2-ASM ἕωςPRA-GSN ἔρχομαιVB-AAN γένημαN3M-APN δικαιοσύνηN1-GSF σύRP-DP [12]Sow to yourselves in righteousness: reap after the measure of mercy: break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
[13]ἵναC τίςRI-ASN παρασιωπάωVAI-AAI2P ἀσέβειαN1A-ASF καίCRA-APF ἀδικίαN1A-APF αὐτόςRD-GSF τρυγάωVAI-AAI2P ἐσθίωVBI-AAI2P καρπόςN2-ASM ψευδήςA3H-APN ὅτιC ἐλπίζωVAI-AAI2S ἐνPRA-DPN ἅρμαN3M-DPN σύRP-GS ἐνP πλῆθοςN3E-DSN δύναμιςN3I-GSF σύRP-GS [13]But you have plowed wickedness: ye have reaped iniquity: you have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thine own ways, and in the multitude of thy strong men,
[14]καίC ἐκ ἀναἵστημιVF-FMI3S ἀπώλειαN1A-NSF ἐνPRA-DSM λαόςN2-DSM σύRP-GS καίC πᾶςA3-NPNRA-NPN περιτειχίζωVT-XMPNPN σύRP-GS οἴχομαιVF-FMI3S ὡςC ἄρχωνN3-NSM *σαλαμανN--NSM ἐκPRA-GSM οἶκοςN2-GSM *ιεροβααλN--GS ἐνP ἡμέραN1A-DPF πόλεμοςN2-GSM μήτηρN3-ASF ἐπίP τέκνονN2N-DPN ἐδαφίζωVAI-AAI3P [14]Therefore shall a tumult arise among thy people, and all thy munitions shall be destroyed, as Shalman destroyed Beth-Arbel in the day of battle: the mother with the children was dashed in pieces.
[15]οὕτωςD ποιέωVF-FAI1S σύRP-DP οἶκοςN2-NSMRA-GSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM ἀπόP πρόσωπονN2N-GSN κακίαN1A-GPF σύRP-GP ὄρθροςN2-GSM ἀποῥίπτωVV-API3P ἀποῥίπτωVV-API3S βασιλεύςN3V-NSM *ἰσραήλN--GSM [15]So shall Beth-el do unto you, because of your malicious wickedness: in a morning shall the king of Israel be destroyed.
