[1]וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֵלַ֗י עֹ֚וד לֵ֣ךְ אֱֽהַב־אִשָּׁ֔ה אֲהֻ֥בַת רֵ֖עַ וּמְנָאָ֑פֶת כְּאַהֲבַ֤ת יְהוָה֙ אֶת־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְהֵ֗ם פֹּנִים֙ אֶל־אֱלֹהִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֔ים וְאֹהֲבֵ֖י אֲשִׁישֵׁ֥י עֲנָבִֽים׃ |
| [2]So I boughtH3739[H8799] her to me for fifteenH6240[H2568] pieces of silverH3701, and for an homerH2563 of barleyH8184, and an half homerH3963 of barleyH8184: |
[2]וָאֶכְּרֶ֣הָ לִּ֔י בַּחֲמִשָּׁ֥ה עָשָׂ֖ר כָּ֑סֶף וְחֹ֥מֶר שְׂעֹרִ֖ים וְלֵ֥תֶךְ שְׂעֹרִֽים׃ |
| [3]And I saidH559[H8799] unto her, Thou shalt abideH3427[H8799] for me manyH7227 daysH3117; thou shalt not play the harlotH2181[H8799], and thou shalt not beH1961[H8799] for another man: so will I also be for theeH376. |
[3]וָאֹמַ֣ר אֵלֶ֗יהָ יָמִ֤ים רַבִּים֙ תֵּ֣שְׁבִי לִ֔י לֹ֣א תִזְנִ֔י וְלֹ֥א תִֽהְיִ֖י לְאִ֑ישׁ וְגַם־אֲנִ֖י אֵלָֽיִךְ׃ |
| [4]For the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 shall abideH3427[H8799] manyH7227 daysH3117 without a kingH4428, and without a princeH8269, and without a sacrificeH2077, and without an imageH4676, and without an ephodH646, and without teraphimH8655: |
[4]כִּ֣י ׀ יָמִ֣ים רַבִּ֗ים יֵֽשְׁבוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֵ֥ין מֶ֙לֶךְ֙ וְאֵ֣ין שָׂ֔ר וְאֵ֥ין זֶ֖בַח וְאֵ֣ין מַצֵּבָ֑ה וְאֵ֥ין אֵפֹ֖וד וּתְרָפִֽים׃ |
| [5]AfterwardH310 shall the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 returnH7725[H8799], and seekH1245[H8765] the LORDH3068 their GodH430, and DavidH1732 their kingH4428; and shall fearH6342[H8804] the LORDH3068 and his goodnessH2898 in the latterH319 daysH3117. |
[5]אַחַ֗ר יָשֻׁ֙בוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וּבִקְשׁוּ֙ אֶת־יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֔ם וְאֵ֖ת דָּוִ֣ד מַלְכָּ֑ם וּפָחֲד֧וּ אֶל־יְהוָ֛ה וְאֶל־טוּבֹ֖ו בְּאַחֲרִ֥ית הַיָּמִֽים׃ |
