[1]And a rod hath come out from the stock of Jesse, And a branch from his roots is fruitful. |
| [2]καίC ἀναπαύωVF-FMI3S ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-ASM πνεῦμαN3M-NSN ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM πνεῦμαN3M-NSN σοφίαN1A-GSF καίC σύνεσιςN3I-GSF πνεῦμαN3M-NSN βουλήN1-GSF καίC ἰσχύςN3U-GSF πνεῦμαN3M-NSN γνῶσιςN3I-GSF καίC εὐσέβειαN1A-GSF |
[2]Rested on him hath the Spirit of Jehovah, The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and might, The spirit of knowledge and fear of Jehovah. |
| [3]ἐνπίμπλημιVF-FAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASM πνεῦμαN3M-NSN φόβοςN2-GSM θεόςN2-GSM οὐD κατάD ὁRA-ASF δόξαN1S-ASF κρίνωVF2-FAI3S οὐδέC κατάD ὁRA-ASF λαλιάN1A-ASF ἐλέγχωVF-FAI3S |
[3]To refresh him in the fear of Jehovah, And by the sight of his eyes he judgeth not, Nor by the hearing of his ears decideth. |
| [4]ἀλλάC κρίνωVF2-FAI3S ταπεινόςA1-DSM κρίσιςN3I-ASF καίC ἐλέγχωVF-FAI3S ὁRA-APM ταπεινόςA1-APM ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF καίC πατάσσωVF-FAI3S γῆN1-ASF ὁRA-DSM λόγοςN2-DSM ὁRA-GSN στόμαN3M-GSN αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC ἐνP πνεῦμαN3M-DSN διάP χεῖλοςN3E-GPN ἀνααἱρέωVF2-FAI3S ἀσεβήςA3H-APN |
[4]And he hath judged in righteousness the poor, And decided in uprightness for the humble of earth, And hath smitten earth with the rod of his mouth, And with the breath of his lips he putteth the wicked to death. |
| [5]καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S δικαιοσύνηN1-DSF ζώννυμιVBI-AMP ὁRA-ASF ὀσφύςN3U-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC ἀλήθειαN1A-DSF εἱλέωV2-PMPGSN ὁRA-APF πλευράN1A-APF |
[5]And righteousness hath been the girdle of his loins, And faithfulness -- the girdle of his reins. |
| [6]καίC συνβόσκωVC-FPI3S λύκοςN2-NSM μετάP ἀρνόςN3-GSM καίC πάρδαλιςN3I-NSN συν ἀναπαύωVF-FMI3S ἔριφοςN2-DSM καίC μοσχάριονN2N-ASN καίC ταῦροςN2-NSM καίC λέωνN3W-NSM ἅμαD βόσκωVC-FPI3P καίC παιδίονN2N-NSN μικρόςA1A-NSN ἄγωVF-FAI3S αὐτόςRD-APM |
[6]And a wolf hath sojourned with a lamb, And a leopard with a kid doth lie down, And calf, and young lion, and fatling [are] together, And a little youth is leader over them. |
| [7]καίC βοῦςN3-NSM καίC ἄρκοςN2-NSM ἅμαD βόσκωVC-FPI3P καίC ἅμαD ὁRA-NPN παιδίονN2N-NPN αὐτόςRD-GPN εἰμίVF-FMI3P καίC λέωνN3W-NSM καίC βοῦςN3-NSM ἅμαD ἐσθίωVF-FMI3P ἄχυρονN2N-APN |
[7]And cow and bear do feed, Together lie down their young ones, And a lion as an ox eateth straw. |
| [8]καίC παιδίονN2N-ASN νήπιοςA1A-ASM ἐπίP τρώγληA1-ASF ἀσπίςN3D-GPF καίC ἐπίP κοίτηN1-ASF ἔκγονοςA1B-GPM ἀσπίςN3D-GPF ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF ἐπιβάλλωVF2-FAI3S |
[8]And played hath a suckling by the hole of an asp, And on the den of a cockatrice Hath the weaned one put his hand. |
| [9]καίC οὐD μήD κακοποιέωVA-AAS3P οὐδέC μήD δύναμαιV6-PMS3P ἀποὀλλύωVA-AAN οὐδείςA3-ASM ἐπίP ὁRA-ASN ὄροςN3E-ASN ὁRA-ASN ἅγιοςA1A-ASN ἐγώRP-GS ὅτιC ἐνπίμπλημιVSI-API3S ὁRA-NSF σύμπαςA1S-NSF ὁRA-GSN γιγνώσκωVZ-AAN ὁRA-ASM κύριοςN2-ASM ὡςD ὕδωρN3-ASN πολύςA1P-ASN κατακαλύπτωVA-AAN θάλασσαN1S-APF |
[9]Evil they do not, nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For full hath been the earth with the knowledge of Jehovah, As the waters are covering the sea. |
| [10]καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ἐνP ὁRA-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSF ἐκεῖνοςRD-DSF ὁRA-NSF ῥίζαN1S-NSF ὁRA-GSM *ιεσσαιN--GSM καίC ὁRA-NSM ἀναἵστημιV6-PMPNSM ἄρχωV1-PAN ἔθνοςN3E-GPN ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-DSM ἔθνοςN3E-APN ἐλπίζωVF-FAI3P καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ὁRA-NSF ἀνάπαυσιςN3I-NSF αὐτόςRD-GSM τιμήN1-NSF |
[10]And there hath been, in that day, A root of Jesse that is standing for an ensign of peoples, Unto him do nations seek, And his rest hath been -- honour! |
| [11]καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ὁRA-DSF ἡμέραN1A-DSF ἐκεῖνοςRD-DSF προςτίθημιVF-FAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-GSN δεικνύωVA-AAN ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSM ὁRA-GSN ζηλόωVA-AAN ὁRA-ASN καταλείπωV1-PAPASN ὑπόλοιποςA1B-ASN ὁRA-GSM λαόςN2-GSM ὅςRR-NSM ἄνX καταλείπωVV-APS3S ἀπόP ὁRA-GPM *ἀσσύριοςN2-GPM καίC ἀπόP *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF καίC *βαβυλωνίαN1A-GSF καίC *αἰθιοπίαN1-GSF καίC ἀπόP *αιλαμείτηςN1-GPF καίC ἀπόP ἥλιοςN2-GSM ἀνατολήN1-GPF καίC ἐκP *ἀραβίαN1-GSF |
[11]And it hath come to pass, in that day, The Lord addeth a second time his power, To get the remnant of His people that is left, From Asshur, and from Egypt, And from Pathros, and from Cush, And from Elam, and from Shinar, And from Hamath, and from isles of the sea, |
| [12]καίC αἴρωVF2-FAI3S σημεῖονN2N-ASN εἰςP ὁRA-APN ἔθνοςN3E-APN καίC συνἄγωVF-FAI3S ὁRA-APM ἀποὀλλύωVB-AMPAPM *ἰσραήλN--GSM καίC ὁRA-APM διασπείρωVM-XMPAPM ὁRA-GSM *ιουδαN--GSM συνἄγωVF-FAI3S ἐκP ὁRA-GPF τέσσαρεςA3-GPF πτέρυξN3G-GPF ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF |
[12]And He hath lifted up an ensign to nations, And gathereth the driven away of Israel, And the scattered of Judah He assembleth, From the four wings of the earth. |
| [13]καίC ἀποαἱρέωVC-FPI3S ὁRA-NSM ζῆλοςN2-NSM *ἐφράιμN--GSM καίC ὁRA-NPM ἐχθρόςN2-NPM *ιουδαN--GSM ἀποὀλλύωVF2-FMI3P *ἐφράιμN--NSM οὐD ζηλόωVF-FAI3S *ἰούδαςN1T-ASM καίC *ἰούδαςN1T-NSM οὐD θλίβωVF-FAI3S *ἐφράιμN--ASM |
[13]And turned aside hath the envy of Ephraim, And the adversaries of Judah are cut off, Ephraim doth not envy Judah, And Judah doth not distress Ephraim. |
| [14]καίC πέτομαιVC-FPI3P ἐνP πλοῖονN2N-DPN ἀλλόφυλοςA1B-GPN θάλασσαN1S-ASF ἅμαD προνομεύωVF-FAI3P καίC ὁRA-APM ἀπόP ἥλιοςN2-GSM ἀνατολήN1-GPF καίC *ιδουμαίαN1-ASF καίC ἐπίP *μωαβN--AS πρῶτονD ὁRA-APF χείρN3-APF ἐπιβάλλωVF2-FAI3P ὁRA-NPM δέX υἱόςN2-NPM *αμμωνN--GSM πρῶτοςA1-NPMS ὑποἀκούωVF-FMI3P |
[14]And they have flown on the shoulder of the Philistines westward, Together they spoil the sons of the east, Edom and Moab sending forth their hand, And sons of Ammon obeying them. |
| [15]καίC ἐρημόωVF-FAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ὁRA-ASF θάλασσαN1S-ASF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF καίC ἐπιβάλλωVF2-FAI3S ὁRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐπίP ὁRA-ASM ποταμόςN2-ASM πνεῦμαN3M-DSN βίαιοςA1A-DSM καίC πατάσσωVF-FAI3S ἑπτάM φάραγξN3G-APF ὥστεD διαπορεύομαιV1-PMN αὐτόςRD-ASN ἐνP ὑπόδημαN3M-DPN |
[15]And Jehovah hath devoted to destruction The tongue of the sea of Egypt, And hath waved His hand over the river, In the terror of his wind, And hath smitten it at the seven streams, And hath caused [men] to tread [it] with shoes. |
| [16]καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S δίοδοςN2-NSF ὁRA-DSM καταλείπωVV-APPDSM ἐγώRP-GS λαόςN2-DSM ἐνP *αἴγυπτοςN2-DSF καίC εἰμίVF-FMI3S ὁRA-DSM *ἰσραήλN--DSM ὡςD ὁRA-NSF ἡμέραN1A-NSF ὅτεD ἐκἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S ἐκP γῆN1-GSF *αἴγυπτοςN2-GSF |
[16]And there hath been a highway, For the remnant of His people that is left, from Asshur, As there was for Israel in the day of his coming up out of the land of Egypt! |
