| [2]וְאֹותִ֗י יֹ֥ום יֹום֙ יִדְרֹשׁ֔וּן וְדַ֥עַת דְּרָכַ֖י יֶחְפָּצ֑וּן כְּגֹ֞וי אֲשֶׁר־צְדָקָ֣ה עָשָׂ֗ה וּמִשְׁפַּ֤ט אֱלֹהָיו֙ לֹ֣א עָזָ֔ב יִשְׁאָל֙וּנִי֙ מִשְׁפְּטֵי־צֶ֔דֶק קִרְבַ֥ת אֱלֹהִ֖ים יֶחְפָּצֽוּן׃ |

| [3]לָ֤מָּה צַּ֙מְנוּ֙ וְלֹ֣א רָאִ֔יתָ עִנִּ֥ינוּ נַפְשֵׁ֖נוּ וְלֹ֣א תֵדָ֑ע הֵ֣ן בְּיֹ֤ום צֹֽמְכֶם֙ תִּמְצְאוּ־חֵ֔פֶץ וְכָל־עַצְּבֵיכֶ֖ם תִּנְגֹּֽשׂוּ׃ |

| [4]הֵ֣ן לְרִ֤יב וּמַצָּה֙ תָּצ֔וּמוּ וּלְהַכֹּ֖ות בְּאֶגְרֹ֣ף רֶ֑שַׁע לֹא־תָצ֣וּמוּ כַיֹּ֔ום לְהַשְׁמִ֥יעַ בַּמָּרֹ֖ום קֹולְכֶֽם׃ |
[4]Behold, ye fastH6684[H8799] for strifeH7379 and debateH4683, and to smiteH5221[H8687] with the fistH106 of wickednessH7562: ye shall not fastH6684[H8799] as ye do this dayH3117, to make your voiceH6963 to be heardH8085[H8687] on highH4791. |
| [5]הֲכָזֶ֗ה יִֽהְיֶה֙ צֹ֣ום אֶבְחָרֵ֔הוּ יֹ֛ום עַנֹּ֥ות אָדָ֖ם נַפְשֹׁ֑ו הֲלָכֹ֨ף כְּאַגְמֹ֜ן רֹאשֹׁ֗ו וְשַׂ֤ק וָאֵ֙פֶר֙ יַצִּ֔יעַ הֲלָזֶה֙ תִּקְרָא־צֹ֔ום וְיֹ֥ום רָצֹ֖ון לַיהוָֽה׃ |

| [6]הֲלֹ֣וא זֶה֮ צֹ֣ום אֶבְחָרֵהוּ֒ פַּתֵּ֙חַ֙ חַרְצֻבֹּ֣ות רֶ֔שַׁע הַתֵּ֖ר אֲגֻדֹּ֣ות מֹוטָ֑ה וְשַׁלַּ֤ח רְצוּצִים֙ חָפְשִׁ֔ים וְכָל־מֹוטָ֖ה תְּנַתֵּֽקוּ׃ |

| [7]הֲלֹ֨וא פָרֹ֤ס לָֽרָעֵב֙ לַחְמֶ֔ךָ וַעֲנִיִּ֥ים מְרוּדִ֖ים תָּ֣בִיא בָ֑יִת כִּֽי־תִרְאֶ֤ה עָרֹם֙ וְכִסִּיתֹ֔ו וּמִבְּשָׂרְךָ֖ לֹ֥א תִתְעַלָּֽם׃ |

| [8]אָ֣ז יִבָּקַ֤ע כַּשַּׁ֙חַר֙ אֹורֶ֔ךָ וַאֲרֻכָתְךָ֖ מְהֵרָ֣ה תִצְמָ֑ח וְהָלַ֤ךְ לְפָנֶ֙יךָ֙ צִדְקֶ֔ךָ כְּבֹ֥וד יְהוָ֖ה יַאַסְפֶֽךָ׃ |

| [9]אָ֤ז תִּקְרָא֙ וַיהוָ֣ה יַעֲנֶ֔ה תְּשַׁוַּ֖ע וְיֹאמַ֣ר הִנֵּ֑נִי אִם־תָּסִ֤יר מִתֹּֽוכְךָ֙ מֹוטָ֔ה שְׁלַ֥ח אֶצְבַּ֖ע וְדַבֶּר־אָֽוֶן׃ |
[9]Then shalt thou callH7121[H8799], and the LORDH3068 shall answerH6030[H8799]; thou shalt cryH7768[H8762], and he shall sayH559[H8799], Here I am. If thou take awayH5493[H8686] from the midstH8432 of thee the yokeH4133, the putting forthH7971[H8800] of the fingerH676, and speakingH1696[H8763] vanityH205; |
| [10]וְתָפֵ֤ק לָֽרָעֵב֙ נַפְשֶׁ֔ךָ וְנֶ֥פֶשׁ נַעֲנָ֖ה תַּשְׂבִּ֑יעַ וְזָרַ֤ח בַּחֹ֙שֶׁךְ֙ אֹורֶ֔ךָ וַאֲפֵלָתְךָ֖ כַּֽצָּהֳרָֽיִם׃ |
[10]And if thou draw outH6329[H8686] thy soulH5315 to the hungryH7457, and satisfyH7646[H8686] the afflictedH6031[H8737] soulH5315; then shall thy lightH216 riseH2224[H8804] in obscurityH2822, and thy darknessH653 be as the noondayH6672: |
| [11]וְנָחֲךָ֣ יְהוָה֮ תָּמִיד֒ וְהִשְׂבִּ֤יעַ בְּצַחְצָחֹות֙ נַפְשֶׁ֔ךָ וְעַצְמֹתֶ֖יךָ יַחֲלִ֑יץ וְהָיִ֙יתָ֙ כְּגַ֣ן רָוֶ֔ה וּכְמֹוצָ֣א מַ֔יִם אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא־יְכַזְּב֖וּ מֵימָֽיו׃ |
[11]And the LORDH3068 shall guideH5148[H8804] thee continuallyH8548, and satisfyH7646[H8689] thy soulH5315 in droughtH6710, and make fatH2502[H8686] thy bonesH6106: and thou shalt be like a wateredH7302 gardenH1588, and like a springH4161 of waterH4325, whose watersH4325 failH3576 notH8762. |
| [12]וּבָנ֤וּ מִמְּךָ֙ חָרְבֹ֣ות עֹולָ֔ם מֹוסְדֵ֥י דֹור־וָדֹ֖ור תְּקֹומֵ֑ם וְקֹרָ֤א לְךָ֙ גֹּדֵ֣ר פֶּ֔רֶץ מְשֹׁבֵ֥ב נְתִיבֹ֖ות לָשָֽׁבֶת׃ |
[12]And they that shall be of thee shall buildH1129[H8804] the oldH5769 waste placesH2723: thou shalt raise upH6965[H8787] the foundationsH4146 of manyH1755 generationsH1755; and thou shalt be calledH7121[H8795], The repairerH1443[H8802] of the breachH6556, The restorerH7725[H8789] of pathsH5410 to dwell inH3427.[H8800] |
| [13]אִם־תָּשִׁ֤יב מִשַּׁבָּת֙ רַגְלֶ֔ךָ עֲשֹׂ֥ות חֲפָצֶ֖יךָ בְּיֹ֣ום קָדְשִׁ֑י וְקָרָ֨אתָ לַשַּׁבָּ֜ת עֹ֗נֶג לִקְדֹ֤ושׁ יְהוָה֙ מְכֻבָּ֔ד וְכִבַּדְתֹּו֙ מֵעֲשֹׂ֣ות דְּרָכֶ֔יךָ מִמְּצֹ֥וא חֶפְצְךָ֖ וְדַבֵּ֥ר דָּבָֽר׃ |
[13]If thou turn awayH7725[H8686] thy footH7272 from the sabbathH7676, from doingH6213[H8800] thy pleasureH2656 on my holyH6944 dayH3117; and callH7121[H8804] the sabbathH7676 a delightH6027, the holyH6918 of the LORDH3068, honourableH3513[H8794]; and shalt honourH3513[H8765] him, not doingH6213[H8800] thine own waysH1870, nor findingH4672[H8800] thine own pleasureH2656, nor speakingH1696[H8763] thine own wordsH1697: |
| [14]אָ֗ז תִּתְעַנַּג֙ עַל־יְהוָ֔ה וְהִרְכַּבְתִּ֖יךָ עַל־ [בָּמֹותֵי כ] (בָּ֣מֳתֵי ק) אָ֑רֶץ וְהַאֲכַלְתִּ֗יךָ נַחֲלַת֙ יַעֲקֹ֣ב אָבִ֔יךָ כִּ֛י פִּ֥י יְהוָ֖ה דִּבֵּֽר׃ |
[14]Then shalt thou delightH6026[H8691] thyself in the LORDH3068; and I will cause thee to rideH7392[H8689] upon the high placesH1116 of the earthH776, and feedH398[H8689] thee with the heritageH5159 of JacobH3290 thy fatherH1: for the mouthH6310 of the LORDH3068 hath spokenH1696 itH8765. |
