[1]Oh! rich men wail! and weep over the miseries which are coming upon you [2]Your wealth for is decayed and stinks and your garments are eaten of moths [3]And your gold and your silver has rusted itself and their rust will be for a witness against you and it is going to consume your flesh fire you have gathered to yourselves for the days last [4]Behold the payment of the laborers who reaped your land that which you swindled cries out and the call of the reapers into the ears of the Lord of hosts has entered [5]You have made merry for on earth and you have been gluttons and you have nourished your bodies as for a day of slaughter [6]You have condemned and you have murdered The Righteous One and not He has stood against you [7]You but my brothers be long of your spirit until the coming of the Lord like a farmer who waits for the crops precious of the ground and is long in his spirit over them until when He receives the rain early and late [8]In this way also you be long in your spirit and your hearts strengthen draws near it for the coming of our Lord [9]Not groan one against another my brothers lest you be judged behold for The Judge before the gate stands [10]The example of the prophets take to you my brothers for length of spirit of your afflictions those who spoke in The Name of the Lord [11]Behold for we give blessing to those who endured you have heard the endurance of Yob and the end that made for him the Lord you have seen because merciful is the Lord and caring [12]Above every thing but my brothers not be you swearing vows not by Heaven neither by earth neither by oath another but let be your word yes yes and no no lest you be condemned under judgment [13]And if any of you shall be in suffering let him be praying and if rejoicing let him be singing psalms [14]And if one is ill let him call the Elders of the church and let them pray over him and anoint him with oil in The Name of our Lord [15]And the prayer of faith heals him the one who is ill and raises up him our Lord and if sins were done by him they are forgiven to him [16]Be you but confessing your offenses one to another and be you praying one for another to be healed great is for the power of prayer which a righteous one prays himself [17]Also Elia a man was subject to suffering like us and he prayed that not would descend rain on the land and not it descended three years and six months [18]And again he prayed and the skies gave rain and the land yielded its fruits [19]My brothers if a man of you will stray from the way of truth and will restore him a man from his error [20]Let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way gives life to his soul from death and blots out the multitude of his sins
