But her father would not suffer him to go in.

[4]καίC πορεύομαιVCI-API3S *σαμψωνN--NSM καίC συνλαμβάνωVBI-AAI3S τριακόσιοιA1A-APF ἀλώπηξN3K-APF καίC λαμβάνωVBI-AAI3S λαμπάςN3D-APF καίC ἐπιστρέφωVAI-AAI3S κέρκοςN2-ASF πρόςP κέρκοςN2-ASF καίC τίθημιVAI-AAI3S λαμπάςN3D-ASF εἷςA1A-ASF ἀνάP μέσοςA1-ASMRA-GPM δύοM κέρκοςN2-GPF καίC δέωVAI-AAI3S [4]And Samson went and caught three hundred foxes, and took firebrands, and turned tail to tail, and put a firebrand in the midst between two tails.
[5]καίC ἐκκαίωVAI-AAI3S πῦρN3-ASN ἐνPRA-DPF λαμπάςN3D-DPF καίC ἐκ ἀποστέλλωVAI-AAI3S ἐνPRA-DPM στάχυςN3U-DPMRA-GPM ἀλλόφυλοςA1B-GPM καίC καίωVAI-AAI3P ἀπόP ἅλωνN3W-GSF καίC ἕωςP στάχυςN3U-GPM ὀρθόςA1-GPM καίC ἕωςP ἀμπελώνN3W-GSM καίC ἐλαίαN1A-GSF [5]And when he had set the brands on fire, he let them go into the standing corn of the Philistines, and burnt up both the shocks, and also the standing corn, with the vineyards and olives.
[6]καίC εἶπονVAI-AAI3PRA-NPM ἀλλόφυλοςA1B-NPM τίςRI-NSM ποιέωVAI-AAI3S οὗτοςRD-APN καίC εἶπονVAI-AAI3P *σαμψωνN--NSMRA-NSM νυμφίοςN2-NSMRA-GSM *θαμνιN--GSM ὅτιC λαμβάνωVBI-AAI3SRA-ASF γυνήN3K-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC δίδωμιVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASFRA-DSM ἐκPRA-GPM φίλοςA1-GPM αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC ἀναβαίνωVZI-AAI3PRA-NPM ἀλλόφυλοςA1B-NPM καίC ἐνπίμπρημιVAI-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-ASF καίCRA-ASM πατήρN3-ASM αὐτόςRD-GSF ἐνP πῦρN3-DSN [6]Then the Philistines said, Who hath done this? And they answered, Samson, the son in law of the Timnite, because he had taken his wife, and given her to his companion. And the Philistines came up, and burnt her and her father with fire.
[7]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DPM *σαμψωνN--NSM ἐάνC ποιέωVA-AAS2P οὕτωςD οὗτοςRD-ASF ὅτιC εἰX μήνX ἐκδικέωVF-FAI1S ἐνP σύRP-DP καίC ἔσχατοςA1-ASM κοπάζωVF-FAI1S [7]And Samson said unto them, Though ye have done this, yet will I be avenged of you, and after that I will cease.
[8]καίC πατάσσωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-APM κνήμηN1-ASF ἐπίP μηρόςN2-ASM πληγήN1-ASF μέγαςA1-ASF καίC καταβαίνωVZI-AAI3S καίC καταἵζωVAI-AAI3S ἐνP τρυμαλιάN1A-DSFRA-GSF πέτραN1A-GSF *ηταμN--GS [8]And he smote them hip and thigh with a great slaughter: and he went down and dwelt in the top of the rock Etam.
[9]καίC ἀναβαίνωVZI-AAI3PRA-NPM ἀλλόφυλοςA1B-NPM καίC παρα ἐνβάλλωVBI-AAI3P ἐνP *ιουδαN--DSM καίC ἐκῥίπτωVAI-AAI3P ἐνP *λευιN--DSM [9]Then the Philistines went up, and pitched in Judah, and spread themselves in Lehi.
[10]καίC εἶπονVAI-AAI3P ἀνήρN3-NSM *ιουδαN--GSM εἰςP τίςRI-ASN ἀναβαίνωVZI-AAI2P ἐπίP ἐγώRP-AP καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3PRA-NPM ἀλλόφυλοςA1B-NPM δέωVA-AANRA-ASM *σαμψωνN--ASM ἀναβαίνωVZI-AAI1P καίC ποιέωVA-AAN αὐτόςRD-DSM ὅςRR-ASM τρόποςN2-ASM ποιέωVAI-AAI3S ἐγώRP-DP [10]And the men of Judah said, Why are ye come up against us? And they answered, To bind Samson are we come up, to do to him as he hath done to us.
[11]καίC καταβαίνωVZI-AAI3P τρισχίλιοιA1A-NPM ἀνήρN3-NPM ἀπόP *ιουδαN--GSM εἰςP τρυμαλιάN1A-ASF πέτραN1A-GSF *ηταμN--GS καίC εἶπονVAI-AAI3PRA-DSM *σαμψωνN--DSM οὐD οἶδαVX-XAI2S ὅτιC κυριεύωV1-PAI3PRA-NPM ἀλλόφυλοςA1B-NPM ἐγώRP-GP καίC τίςRI-ASN οὗτοςRD-ASN ποιέωVAI-AAI2S ἐγώRP-DP καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DPM *σαμψωνN--NSM ὅςRR-ASM τρόποςN2-ASM ποιέωVAI-AAI3P ἐγώRP-DS οὕτωςD ποιέωVAI-AAI1S αὐτόςRD-DPM [11]Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not that the Philistines are rulers over us? what is this that thou hast done unto us? And he said unto them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto them.
[12]καίC εἶπονVAI-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-DSM δέωVA-AAN σύRP-AS καταβαίνωVZI-AAI1PRA-GSN δίδωμιVO-AAN σύRP-AS ἐνP χείρN3-DSF ἀλλόφυλοςA1B-GPM καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DPM *σαμψωνN--NSM ὄμνυμιVA-AAI2P ἐγώRP-DS μήποτεD συνἀντάωVA-AAS2P ἐνP ἐγώRP-DS σύRP-NP [12]And they said unto him, We are come down to bind thee, that we may deliver thee into the hand of the Philistines. And Samson said unto them, Swear unto me, that ye will not fall upon me yourselves.
[13]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-DSM λέγωV1-PAPNPM οὐD ὅτιC ἀλλάCC δεσμόςN2-DSM δέωVF-FAI1P σύRP-AS καίC παραδίδωμιVF-FAI1P σύRP-AS ἐνP χείρN3-DSF αὐτόςRD-GPM καίC θάνατοςN2-DSM οὐD θανατόωVF-FAI1P σύRP-AS καίC δέωVAI-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-ASM ἐνP δύοM--DPN καλώδιονN2N-DPN καινόςA1-DPN καίC ἀναφέρωVAI-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-ASM ἀπόPRA-GSF πέτραN1A-GSF ἐκεῖνοςRD-GSF [13]And they spake unto him, saying, No; but we will bind thee fast, and deliver thee into their hand: but surely we will not kill thee. And they bound him with two new cords, and brought him up from the rock.

[15]καίC εὑρίσκωVB-AAI3S σιαγώνN3N-ASF ὄνοςN2-GSM ἐκῥίπτωVXI-XMPASF καίC ἐκτείνωVAI-AAI3SRA-ASF χείρN3-ASF αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC λαμβάνωVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASF καίC πατάσσωVAI-AAI3S ἐνP αὐτόςRD-DSF χίλιοιA1A-APM ἀνήρN3-APM [15]And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith.
[16]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S *σαμψωνN--NSM ἐνP σιαγώνN3N-DSF ὄνοςN2-GSM ἐκἀλείφωV1-PAPNSM ἐκἀλείφωVAI-AAI1S αὐτόςRD-APM ὅτιC ἐνPRA-DSF σιαγώνN3N-DSFRA-GSM ὄνοςN2-GSM πατάσσωVAI-AAI1S χίλιοιA1A-APM ἀνήρN3-APM [16]And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men.
[17]καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S ὡςC παύωVAI-AMI3S λαλέωV2-PAPNSM καίC ῥίπτωVAI-AAI3SRA-ASF σιαγώνN3N-ASF ἐκPRA-GSF χείρN3-GSF αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC καλέωVAI-AAI3SRA-ASM τόποςN2-ASM ἐκεῖνοςRD-ASM ἀναίρεσιςN3I-NSF σιαγώνN3N-GSF [17]And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking, that he cast away the jawbone out of his hand, and called that place Ramathlehi.
[18]καίC διψάωVAI-AAI3S σφόδραD καίC κλαίωVAI-AAI3S πρόςP κύριοςN2-ASM καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S σύRP-NS εὐδοκέωVA-AAI2S ἐνP χείρN3-DSF δοῦλοςN2-GSM σύRP-GSRA-ASF σωτηρίαN1A-ASFRA-ASF μέγαςA1-ASF οὗτοςRD-ASF καίC νῦνD ἀποθνήσκωVF2-FMI1SRA-DSN δίψοςN3E-DSN καίC ἐνπίπτωVF2-FMI1S ἐνP χείρN3-DSFRA-GPM ἀπερίτμητοςA1B-GPM [18]And he was sore athirst, and called on the LORD, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?
[19]καίC ῥήγνυμιVAI-AAI3SRA-NSM θεόςN2-NSMRA-ASM λάκκοςN2-ASMRA-ASM ἐνPRA-DSF σιαγώνN3N-DSF καίC ἐκἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S ἐκP αὐτόςRD-GSM ὕδωρN3-NSN καίC πίνωVBI-AAI3S καίC ἐπιστρέφωVAI-AAI3SRA-NSN πνεῦμαN3M-NSN αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC ζάωVAI-AAI3S διάP οὗτοςRD-ASN καλέωVCI-API3SRA-NSN ὄνομαN3M-NSN αὐτόςRD-GSF πηγήN1-NSFRA-GSM ἐπικαλέωV2-PMPGSM ὅςRR-NSF εἰμίV9-PAI3S ἐνP σιαγώνN3N-DSF ἕωςPRA-GSF ἡμέραN1A-GSF οὗτοςRD-GSF [19]But God clave an hollow place that was in the jaw, and there came water thereout; and when he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived: wherefore he called the name thereof Enhakkore, which is in Lehi unto this day.
[20]καίC κρίνωVAI-AAI3SRA-ASM *ἰσραήλN--ASM ἐνP ἡμέραN1A-DPF ἀλλόφυλοςA1B-GPM εἴκοσιM ἔτοςN3E-APN [20]And he judged Israel in the days of the Philistines twenty years.
