| [1]ܦܸܬ̣ܓ̣ܵܡܵܐ ܕܲܗܘ̤ܵܐ ܥܲܠ ܐܸܪܲܡܝܵܐ ܥܲܠ ܟܠܹܗ ܥܲܡܵܐ ܕܲܝܗܘܼܕ݂ܵܐ: ܒܫܲܢ̄ܬܵܐ ܪܒ̣ܝܼܥܵܝܬܵܐ ܕܝܘܿܝܵܩܝܼܡ ܒܲܪ ܝܘܿܫܝܼܵܐ ܡܲܠܟܵܐ ܕܲܝܗܘܼܕ݂ܵܐ: ܗ̤ܝ ܗܞܝ̣ ܫܲܢ̄ܬܵܐ ܩܲܕ݂ܡܵܝܬܵܐ ܕܲܢܒ̣ܟܲܕ݂ܢܵܨܲܪ ܡܲܠܟܵܐ ܕܒ̣ܵܒܹܠ. |
[1]THE word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that was the first year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; |
| [2]ܕܐܸܡ݂ܲܪ ܐܹܪܲܡܝܵܐ ܢܒ̣ܝܵܐ ܥܲܠ ܟܠܹܗ ܥܲܡܵܐ ܕܲܝܗܘܼܕ݂ܵܐ: ܘܥܲܠ ܟܠܗܘܿܢ ܥܲܡܘܿܖܹ̈ܝܗ̇ ܕܐܘܿܪܸܫܠܸܡ ܠܡܹܐܡܲܪ. |
[2]The year in which Jeremiah the prophet spoke to all the people of Judah and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, |
| [3]ܡ̣ܢ ܬܠܵܬܲܥܸܣܖܹ̈ܐ ܫܢܝܼ̈ܢ ܠܝܘܿܫܝܼܵܐ ܒܲܪ ܐܲܡܘܿܢ ܡܲܠܟܵܐ ܕܲܝܗܘܼܕ݂ܵܐ: ܘܲܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܝܵܘܡܵܐ ܗܵܢܵܐ: ܗܵܐ ܥܸܣܪܝܼܢ ܘܲܬ̣ܠܵܬ̣ ܫܢܝܼ̈ܢ: ܗܘ̤ܵܐ ܥܠܲܝ ܦܸܬ̣ܓ̣ܵܡܹܗ ܕܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܘܐܸܡ̇ܪܹܬ̣ ܠܟ݂ܘܿܢ: ܩܲܕ̇ܡܹ̇ܬ̣ ܟܠܝܘܿܡ ܘܐܸܡ̇ܪܹܬ̣ ܘܠܵܐ ܫـ̣ܡܲܥܬ̇ܘܿܢ. |
[3]From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even to this day, that is twenty-three years, the word of the LORD has come to me and I have spoken to you, warning you in advance daily; but you did not listen. |
| [4]ܘܫܲܕܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܠܘܵܬ̣ܟ݂ܘܿܢ ܟܠܗܘܿܢ ܥܲܒ̣ܕܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܢܒ݂ܝܹ̈ܐ: ܩܲܕܸܡ ܘܫܲܕܲܪ ܘܠܵܐ ܫـ̣ܡܲܥܬ̇ܘܿܢ: ܘܠܵܐ ܐܲܪܟܸ̇ܢܬ̇ܘܿܢ ܐܸܕ݂ܢ̱ܟ݂ܘܿܢ ܠܡ̱ܫܡܲܥ. |
[4]And the LORD has sent to you all his servants the prophets, sending them in advance to warn you; but you did not listen, nor incline your ear to hear. |
| [5]ܘܲܠܡܹܐܡܲܪ ܬܘܼܒ̣ܘ ܓܒܲܪ ܡ̣ܢ ܐܘܼܪܚܹܗ ܒܝܼܫܬܵܐ: ܘܡ̣ܢ ܒܝܼܫܘܼܬ̣ ܥܒ̣ܵܕܲܝ̈ܟ̇ܘܿܢ: ܘܬܸܒ̣ܘ ܒܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܕܝܲܗ̄ܒ̣ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܠܟ݂ܘܿܢ ܘܠܲܐܒ̣ܵܗܲܝ̈ܟ̇ܘܿܢ: ܡ̣ܢ ܥܵܠܲܡ ܘܲܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܥܵܠܲܡ. |
[5]They said, Repent every man from his evil way, and from the evil of his doings, and dwell in the land which the LORD has given to you and to your fathers for ever and ever; |
| [6]ܘܠܵܐ ܬܹܐܙ̄ܠܘܼܢ ܒܵܬܲܪ ܐܲܠܵܗܹ̈ܐ ܐ̄ܚܖ̈ܵܢܹܐ: ܐܡܸܦܠܲܚ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ ܘܲܠܡܸܣܓܲܕܪ ܠܗܘܿܢ: ܘܠܵܐ ܬܲܪܓ̇ܙܘܼܢܵܢܝ ܒܲܥـ̇ܒ̣ܵܕ݂ ܐܝܼܕܲܝ̈ܟ̇ܘܿܢ: ܕܠܵܐ ܐܲܒ̣ܐܸܫ ܠܟ݂ܘܿܢ. |
[6]And do not go after other gods to serve them and to worship them, and do not provoke me to anger with the works of your hands; that I may not hurt you. |
| [7]ܘܠܵܐ ܫ̣ܡܲܥܬ̇ܘܿܢܵܢܝ ܐܵܡܲ݁ܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ: ܘܐܲܪܓܸ̇ܙܬ̇ܘܿܢܵܢܝ ܒܲܥـ̇ܒ̣ܵܕ݂ ܐܝܼܕܲܝ̈ܟ̇ܘܿܢ ܕܢܸܒ̣ܐܲܫ ܠܟ݂ܘܿܢ. |
[7]Yet you have not hearkened to me, says the LORD; but you have provoked me to anger with the works of your hands to your own harm |
| [8]ܡܸܛܠ ܗܵܢܵܐ ܗܵܟܲܢܵܐ ܐܵܡܲ݁ܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܨܒ̣ܵܐܘܼܬ̣: ܥܲܠ ܕܠܵܐ ܫܡܲܥܬ̇ܘܿܢ ܦܸܬ̣ܓ̣ܵܡܲܝ̈. |
[8]Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts: Because you have not listened to my words, |
| [9]ܗܵܐ ܡܫܲܕܲܪ ܐ̄ܢܵܐ ܘܕܲܒܲܪ ܐ̄ܢܵܐ ܠܟ݂ܠܗܹܝܢ ܫܲܖ̈ܒ̣ܵܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܡܲܠ̈ܟ̇ܘܵܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܓܲܪܒ̇ܝܵܐ ܐܵܡܲ݁ܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ: ܘܠܲܢܒ̣ܘܼܟܲܕ݂ܢܵܨܲܪ ܡܲܠܟܵܐ ܕܒ̣ܵܒܹܠ ܥܲܒ̣ܕܝ: ܘܐܲܝܬܸ̇ܝ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ ܥܲܠ ܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܗܵܕܹܐ ܘܥܲܠ ܥܵܡܘܿܖܹ̈ܝܗ̇: ܘܥܲܠ ܟܠܗܘܿܢ ܥܲܡܡܹ̈ܐ ܗܵܠܹܝܢ ܕܒܲܚܕ݂ܵܖܹ̈ܝܗ̇: ܘܐܸܚܪܘܿܒ̣ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ: ܘܐܸܥܒܸ̇ܕܪ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ ܠܬܸܡܗܵܐ ܘܲܠܡܲܫܪܘܿܩܝܼܬ̣ܵܐ: ܘܲܠܚܘܿܪܒܵܐ ܠܥܵܠܲܡ. |
[9]Behold, I will send and take all the tribes of the kingdoms of the north, says the LORD, and Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land and against its inhabitants and against all these nations round about, and I will utterly destroy them and make them an astonishment and a hissing, and an everlasting desolation. |
| [10]ܘܐܵܘܒܸ̇ܕ݂ ܡܸܢܗܘܿܢ ܩܵܠܵܐ ܕܲܕ݂ܝܵܨܵܐ: ܘܩܵܠܵܐ ܕܚܵܕ݂ܘܼܬ̣ܵܐ: ܩܵܠܵܐ ܕܚܲܬ̣ܢܵܐ ܘܩܵܠܵܐ ܕܟܲܠܬ̣ܵܐ: ܩܵܠܵܐ ܕܪܲܚܝܵܐ : ܘܢܘܼܗܪܵܐ ܕܲܫܪܵܓ̣ܵܐ. |
[10]Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp. |
| [11]ܘܬܸܗܘܸܐ ܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܗܵܕܹܐ ܟܠܵܗܚ ܠܚܘܼܪܒܵܐ ܘܲܠܬܸܡܗܵܐ: ܘܢܸܦ̱ܠܚܘܼܢ ܥܲܡܡܹ̈ܐ ܗܵܠܹܝܢ ܠܡܲܠܟܵܐ ܕܒ̣ܵܒܹܠ ܫܲܒ̣ܥܝܼܢ ܫܢܝܼ̈ܢ. |
[11]And this whole land shall be a desolation and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years. |
| [12]ܘܡܵܐ ܕܲܫܠܸـ̣ܡ ܫܲܒ̣ܥܝܼܢ ܫܢܝܼ̈ܢ: ܐܸܦܩܘܿܕ݂ ܥܲܠ ܡܲܠܟܵܐ ܕܒ̣ܵܒܹܠ ܘܥܲܠ ܥܲܡܹܗ ܚܵܘ̈ܒܲܝܗܘܿܢ ܐܵܡܲ݁ܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ: ܘܥܲܠ ܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܕܟܲܠܕܵܝܹ̈ܐ: ܘܐܸܥܒ̇ܕ݂ܝܼܗ̇ ܠܬܸܡܗܵܐ ܠܥܵܠܲܡ. |
[12]And it shall come to pass when seventy years are completed, I will punish the king of Babylon and his people for their iniquities, says the LORD; and also the land of the Chaldeans, I will make it a perpetual desolation. |
| [13]ܘܐܲܝܬܸ̇ܐ ܥܲܠ ܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܗܵܝ̇: ܟܠܗܘܿܢ ܦܸܬ̣ܓ̣ܵܡܹ̈ܐ ܕܐܸܡ̇ܪܹܬ̣ ܥܠܹܝܗ̇: ܟܠ ܡܸܕܸܡ ܕܲܟ݂ܬ̣ܝܼܒ̣ ܒܣܸܦܪܵܐ ܗܵܢܵܐ: ܕܐܸܬ̣ܢܲܒ̇ܝܼ ܐܹܪܲܡܝܵܐ ܥܲܠ ܟܠܗܘܿܢ ܥܲܡܡܹ̈ܐ. |
[13]And I will bring upon that land all words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah has prophesied against all the nations. |
| [14]ܡܸܛܠ ܕܫܲܥܒܸ̇ܕ݂ܘ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ ܐܵܦ ܠܗܘܿܢ: ܥܲܡܡܹ̈ܐ ܣܲܓ̇ܝܼ̈ܐܹܐ: ܘܡܲܠ̈ܟܹ̇ܐ ܪܵܘܖ̈ܒܹܐ: ܘܐܸܦܪܘܿܥ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ ܐܲܝܟ݂ ܦܲܥܠܗܘܿܢ: ܘܐܲܝܟ݂ ܥܒ̣ܵـ̇ܕ݂ܵܐ ܕܐܝܼܕܲܝ̈ܗܘܿܢ. |
[14]For many nations and great kings shall enslave them also; and I will recompense them according to their deeds and according to the work of their own hands |
| [15]ܡܸܛܠ ܕܗܵܟܲܢܵܐ ܐܵܡ݁ܲܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܚܲܝܠܬ̣ܵܢܵܐ ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܕܝܼܣܪܵܝܹܠ: ܣܲܒ̣ ܟܵܣܵܐ ܕܚܲܡܪܵܐ ܕܚܸܡܬ̣ܵܐ ܗܵܕܹܐ ܡ̣ܢ ܐܝܼܕܿܝ: ܘܐܲܫܩܵܝܗܝ ܠܟ݂ܠܗܘܿܢ ܥܲܡܡܹ̈ܐ ܐܲܝܠܹܝܢ ܕܲܡܫܲܕܲܪ ܐ̄ܢܵܐ ܠܵܟ݂ ܥܠܲܝܗܘܿܢ. |
[15]For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel to me: Take the wine cup of this fury from my hand, and make all the nations to whom I send you drink it. |
| [16]ܘܢܸܫܬ̇ܘܿܢ ܘܢܸܬ̣ܘ̱ܪܘܼܢ: ܘܢܸܬ̇ܛܲܪܦܘܼܢ: ܡ̣ܢ ܩܕ݂ܵܡ ܚܲܪܒܵܐ ܕܲܡܫܲܕܲܪ ܐ̄ܢܵܐ ܒܲܝܢܵܬ̣ܗܘܿܢ. |
[16]And they shall drink, and be dazed and be troubled because of the sword which I am sending among them. |
| [17]ܘܢܸܣܒܹ̇ــ̇ܬ̣ ܟܵܣܵܐ ܡ̣ܢ ܐܝܼܕܹܗ ܕܡܵܪܝܵܐ: ܘܐܲܫܩ̇ܝܼܬ̇ ܠܟ݂ܠܗܘܿܢ ܥܲܡܡܹ̈ܐ ܕܫܲܕܪܲܢܝ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܥܠܲܝܗܘܿܢ. |
[17]Then I took the cup from the LORD'S hand, and made all the nations to whom the LORD had sent me drink it: |
| [18]ܠܐܘܿܪܸܫܠܸܡ ܘܲܠܩܘܼܖ̈ܝܵܐ ܕܲܝܗܘܼܕ݂ܵܐ: ܘܲܠܡܲܠܟܹ̇ܝ̈ܗ̇ ܘܲܠܪܵܘܖ̈ܒ̣ܵܢܹܝܗ̇: ܠܡܸܥܒܲܕ݂ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ ܠܚܘܼܪܒܵܐ ܘܲܠܬܸܡܗܵܐ: ܘܲܠܡܲܫܪܘܿܩܝܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܝܵܘܡܵܢܵܐ. |
[18]Even to Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, its kings and its princes, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, a hissing, as it is this day; |
| [19]ܠܦܸܪܥܘܿܢ ܡܲܠܟܵܐ ܕܡܸܨܪܹܝܢ ܘܲܠܟ݂ܠܗܘܿܢ ܥܲܒ̣ܕܵܘ̈ܗܝ: ܘܲܠܪܵܘܖ̈ܒ̣ܵܢܵܘܗܝ ܘܲܠܟ݂ܠܹܗ ܥܲܡܹܗ. |
[19]And to Pharaoh king of Egypt and to all his servants and his princes and all his people |
| [20]ܘܲܠܟ݂ܠܗܘܿܢ ܬܚܘܼܡܵܘ̈ܗܝ: ܘܠܟ݂ܠܗܘܿܢ ܡܲܠ̈ܟܹܐ ܕܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܕܥܘܿܨ: ܘܲܠܟ݂ܠܗܘܿܢ ܡܲܠ̈ܟܹ̇ܐ ܕܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܕܲܦܠܸܫܬܵܝܹ̈ܐ: ܘܠܲܐܫܩܵܠܘܿܢ ܘܲܠܥܵܐܙܵܐ: ܘܲܠܥܸܩܪܘܿܢ ܘܲܠܫܲܪܟܵܐ ܕܐܲܫܕ̇ܘܿܕ݂. |
[20]And all his borders and all the kings of the land of Uz and all the kings of the land of the Philistines and Ashkelon and Gaza and Ekron and the remnant of Ashdod |
| [21]ܘܠܲܐܕ݂ܘܿܡ ܘܲܠܡܘܼܐܵܒ̣ ܘܠܲܒܢܲܝ̈ ܥܲܡܘܿܢ. |
[21]Edom and Moab and the children of Ammon |
| [22]ܘܲܠܟ݂ܠܗܘܿܢ ܡܲܠ̈ܟܹ̇ܐ ܕܨܘܿܪ: ܘܲܠܟ݂ܠܗܘܿܢ ܡܲܠ̈ܟܹ̇ܐ ܕܨܲܝܕܵܢ: ܘܲܠܡܲܠ̈ܟܹ̇ܐ ܕܓ̣ܵܙܖ̈ܵܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܲܒ̣ܥܸܒ̣ܪܵܐ ܕܝܲܡܵܐ. |
[22]And all the kings of Tyre and all the kings of Zidon and the kings of the islands which are beyond the sea |
| [23]ܘܲܠܕ݂ܵܪܵܢ: ܘܲܠܬܲܝܡܢܵܐ: ܘܲܠܒ̣ܘܿܙ: ܘܲܠܟ݂ܠܗܘܿܢ ܩܨܝܼ̈ܨܲܝ ܦܲܐܬ̣ܵܐ. |
[23]Deran and Tema and Buz and all of those who cut their beards |
| [24]ܘܲܠܟ݂ܠܗܘܿܢ ܡܲܠ̈ܟܹ̇ܐ ܕܲܡܬܲܚܡܝܼܢ ܚܲܕ݂ ܥܲܡ ܚܲܕ݂: ܘܲܠܟ݂ܠܗܘܿܢ ܡܲܠ̈ܟܹ̇ܐ ܕܥܲܖ̈ܒ̣ܵܝܹܐ ܕܲܫܪܹܝܢ ܒܡܲܕ݂ܒ̇ܪܵܐ. |
[24]And all the kings whose boundaries are close to each other and all the kings of Arabia who dwell in the desert |
| [25]ܘܲܠܟ݂ܠܗܘܿܢ ܡܲܠ̈ܟܹ̇ܐ ܕܙܲܡܪܵܢ ܘܲܠܟ݂ܠܗܘܿܢ ܡܲܠ̈ܟܹ̇ܐ ܕܥܝܼܠܲܡ: ܘܲܠܟ݂ܠܗܘܿܢ ܡܲܠ̈ܟܹ̇ܐ ܕܡܵܕܲܝ. |
[25]And all the kings of Zimran and all the kings of Elam and all the kings of the Medes |
| [26]ܘܠܟ݂ܠܗܘܿܢ ܡܲܠ̈ܟܹ̇ܐ ܕܓܲܪܒ̇ܝܵܐ ܕܪܲܚܝܼܩܝܼܢ ܘܲܕ݂ܩܲܪܝܼܒ̣ܝܼܢ ܓܒܲܪ ܠܚܲܒ̣ܪܹܗ: ܘܲܠܟ݂ܠܗܹܝܢ ܡܲܠܟ̇ـܘ̈ܵܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܐܝܼܬ̣ ܥܲܠ ܐܲܦܲܝ̈ ܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܟܠܵܗ̇: ܘܡܲܠܟܵܐ ܐܵܪܹܫܟ݂ܵܝܵܐ ܢܸܫܬܸ̇ܐ ܒܵܬܲܪܗܘܿܢ. |
[26]And all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another, and all the kingdoms of the world which are upon the face of the earth; and the king of the Parthians shall drink after them. |
| [27]ܘܐܸܡܲܪ ܠܗܘܿܢ ܗܵܟܲܢܵܐ ܐܵܡܲ݁ܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܚܲܝܠܬ̣ܵܢܵܐ ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܕܝܼܣܪܵܝܹܠ: ܐܸܫܬܵܘ ܘܲܪܘܵܘ ܘܐܸܬ̣ܛܲܪܲܦܘ ܘܦܸܠܘ ܘܠܵܐ ܬܩܘܼܡܘܼܢ: ܡ̣ܢ ܩܕ݂ܵܡ ܚܲܪܒܵܐ ܕܲܡܫܲܕܲܪ ܐ̄ܢܵܐ ܒܲܝܢܵܬ̣ܟ݂ܘܿܢ. |
[27]Therefore you shall say to them, Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Drink and be drunken and stagger and fall and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you. |
| [28]ܘܐܸ ܠܵܐ ܢܸܨܒ̇ܘܿܢ ܠܡܸܣܲܒ̣ ܟܵܣܵܐ ܡ̣ܢ ܐܝܼܕܵܟ݂ ܠܡܵܫܬܵܐ: ܐܸܡܲܪ ܠܗܘܿܢ: ܗܵܟܲܢܵܐ ܐܵܡܲ݁ܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܚܲܝܠܬ̣ܵܢܵܐ ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܕܝܼܣܪܵܝܹܠ: ܡܸܫܬܵܐ ܬܸܫܬ̇ܘܿܢ. |
[28]And if they refuse to take the cup from your hand to drink, then you shall say to them, Thus says the LORD of hosts: You shall certainly drink. |
| [29]ܡܸܛܠ ܕܗܵܐ ܩܪܝܼܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܐܸܬ̣ܩܪܝܼ ܫܹܡܝ ܥܠܹܝܗ̇: ܡܸܢܵܗ̇ ܡܫܲܪܸܐ ܐ̄ܢܵܐ ܠܡܲܒ̣ܐܵܫܘܼ ܠܵܗ̇: ܘܐܲܢ̄ܬ̇ܘܿܢ ܡܸܙܟܵܐ ܬܸܙܟ̇ܘܿܢ: ܠܵܐ ܬܸܙܟ̇ܘܿܢ: ܡܸܛܠ ܕܚܲܪܒܵܐ ܩܵـ̇ـܪܹܐ ܐ̄ܢܵܐ ܥܲܠ ܟܠܗܘܿܢ ܥܵܡܘܿܖܹ̈ܝܗ̇ ܕܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܐܵܡܲ݁ܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܚܲܝܠܬ̣ܵܢܵܐ. |
[29]For behold, I begin to brine evil on this city which is called by my name, and you shall not be left unpunished, you shall not be blameless; for I am calling for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, says the LORD of hosts |
| [30]ܘܐܲܢ̄ܬ̇ ܬܸܬ̣ܢܲܒܹ̇ܐ ܥܠܲܝܗܘܿܢ ܟܠܗܘܿܢ ܦܸܬ̣ܓ̣ܵܡܹ̈ܐ ܗܵܠܹܝܢ: ܘܬܹܐܡܲܪ ܠܗܘܿܢ: ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܡ̣ܢ ܪܵܘܡܵܐ ܢܸܢܗܲܡ: ܘܡ̣ܢ ܡܲܥܡܪܵܐ ܕܩܘܼܕ݂ܫܹܗ ܢܸܬܸ̇ܠ ܩܵܠܹܗ: ܡܸܢܗܲܡ ܢܸܢܗܲܡ ܥܲܠ ܕܲܝܪܹܗ: ܝܵܗܵܝ ܝܵܗܵܝ ܐܲܝܟ݂ ܥܵܨܘܿܪܵܐ ܢܸܥܢܸܐ: ܥܲܠ ܟܠܗܘܿܢ ܥܵܡܘܿܖܹ̈ܝܗ̇ ܕܐܲܪܥܵܐ. |
[30]Therefore you shall prophesy against them all these words, and say to them, The LORD shall roar from on high and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar against his fold; he shall shout, Hurrah, hurrah, like those who tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth. |
| [31]ܡ̣ܛܵܐ ܪܓ̣ܘܼܫܝܵܐ ܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܣܵܘ̈ܦܹܝܗ̇ ܕܐܲܪܥܵܐ: ܡܸܛܠ ܕܕ݂ܝܼܢܵܐ ܠܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܥܲܡ ܥܲܡܡܹ̈ܐ: ܘܕ݂ܵܐܹܢ ܗ̄ܘ ܠܟ݂ܠ ܒܣܲܪ: ܘܖ̈ܲܫܝܼܥܹܐ ܐܲܫܠܸܡ ܐܸܢܘܿܢ ܠܚܲܪܒܵܐ: ܐܵܡܲ݁ܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ. |
[31]The noise shall reach even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD will contend against the nations; he will judge all flesh, and the wicked he shall deliver to the sword, says the LORD. |
| [32]ܗܵܟܲܢܵܐ ܐܵܡܲ݁ܪ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܚܲܝܠܬ̣ܵܢܵܐ ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܕܝܼܣܪܵܝܹܠ: ܗܵܐ ܒܝܼܫܬܵܐ ܢܵܦ̇ܩܵܐ ܡ̣ܢ ܥܲܡܵܐ ܠܥܲܡܵܐ: ܘܥܲܠܥܵܠܵܐ ܪܲܒܬ̣ܵܐ ܬܕ݂ܘܼܠ ܡ̣ܢ ܣܵܘ̈ܦܹܝܗ̇ ܕܐܲܪܥܵܐ. |
[32]Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the ends of the earth. |
| [33]ܘܢܸܗܘܘܿܢ ܩܛܝܼܠܵܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܒܝܵܘܡܵܐ ܗܵܘ̇: ܡ̣ܢ ܣܵܘ̈ܦܹܝܗ̇ ܕܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܘܲܥܕܲܡܵܐ ܠܣܵܘ̈ܦܹܝܗ̇ ܕܐܲܪܥܵܐ: ܠܵܐ ܢܲܝܠܠܘܼܢ ܘܠܵܐ ܢܲܪܩܕ݂ܘܼܢ: ܘܠܵܐ ܢܸܒ̣ܟ̇ܘܿܢ ܥܠܲܝܗܘܿܢ: ܘܠܵܐ ܢܸܬ̣ܟܲܢܫܘܿܢ ܘܠܵܐ ܢܸܬ̣ܩܲܒ̣ܪܘܿܢ: ܐܸܠܵܐ ܐܲܝܟ݂ ܙܸܒ̣ܠܵܐ ܥܲܠ ܐܲܦܲܝ̈ ܐܲܪܥܵܐ ܢܸܗܘܘܿܢ. |
[33]And those who are slain by the LORD shall be on that day from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth; they shall not be lamented, neither mourned nor wept over nor gathered nor buried; but they shall be like refuse upon the face of the ground. |
| [34]ܐܲܝܠܸܠܘ ܖ̈ܵܥܵܘܵܬ̣ܵܐ ܘܐܲܙܥܸܩܘ: ܘܐܸܬ̣ܦܲܠܦܲܠܘ ܥܲܫܝܼܢܲܝ̈ ܥܵـ̈ـܢܵܐ: ܕܲܡ̣ܠܵܘ ܝܵܘ̈ܡܵܬ̣ܟ݂ܘܿܢ ܠܩܸܛܠܵܐ: ܘܬܸܬܲܒ̣ܘܼܢ ܘܬܸܦܠܘܼܢ ܐܲܝܟ݂ ܡܵܐܢܲܝ̈ ܪܸܓ̇ܬ̣ܵܐ. |
[34]Howl, you shepherds, and cry; wallow in the ashes, you who have great flocks; for the days of your slaughter are at hand, anal you shall be broken, and fall like choice vessels. |
| [35]ܘܢܹܐܒܲܕ݂ ܒܹܝܬ̣ ܥܪܘܼܩܝܵܐ ܡ̣ܢ ܖ̈ܵܥܵܘܵܬ̣ܵܐ: ܘܦܘܼܠܵܛܵܐ ܡ̣ܢ ܕܸܟ݂ܖܹ̈ܐ ܕܥܵـ̈ـܢܵܐ. |
[35]And the shepherds shall not find the way to flee, nor shall the rams of the flock escape. |
| [36]ܩܵܠ ܙܥܵܩܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܖ̈ܵܥܵܘܵܬ̣ܵܐ: ܘܝܑܼܠܲܠܬܵܐ ܕܕܸܟ݂ܖܹ̈ܐ ܕܥܵـ̈ـܢܵܐ ܕܒܲـ̣ܙ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ ܡܲܖ̈ܥܝܵܬ̣ܗܘܿܢ. |
[36]A voice of the cry of shepherds, and the bleating of the rams of the flock shall be heard; for the LORD has plundered their flocks. |
| [37]ܘܢܸܬ̇ܬܲܒ̣ܖ̈ܵܢ ܕܲܝܖܹ̈ܐ ܕܲܫܠܵܡܵܐ: ܡ̣ܢ ܩܕ݂ܵܡ ܚܸܡܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܪܘܼܓ̣ܙܹܗ ܕܡܵܪܝܵܐ. |
[37]And the peaceful folds are destroyed because of the fierce anger of the LORD. |
| [38]ܡܸܛܠ ܕܲܫ̣ܒܲܩܘ ܕܲܝܪܹܗ: ܐܲܝܟ݂ ܐܲܪܝܵܐ ܕܫܵـ̇ܒܹܩ ܡܲܪܒܘܿܥܝܼܬܹܗ: ܡܸܛܠ ܕܲܗܘ̤ܵܬ̣ ܐܲܪܥ̱ܗܘܿܢ ܠܚܘܼܪܒܵܐ ܡ̣ܢ ܩܕ݂ܵܡ ܪܘܼܓ̣ܙܹܗ ܕܡܵܪܝܵܐ: ܘܡ̣ܢ ܩܕ݂ܵܡ ܚܸܡܬ̣ܵܐ ܕܪܘܼܓ̣ܙܹܗ. |
[38]For they have deserted his fold like a lion that has forsaken his covert; for their land is desolate because of the anger of the LORD and because of the presence of his fierce anger |
