| [2]Thus saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 the Maker thereof, 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 that formed it to establish it, 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 is His name: |
[2]οὕτωςD εἶπονVBI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ἵστημιVH-AAD2S ἐνP αὐλήN1-DSF οἶκοςN2-GSM κύριοςN2-GSM καίC χρηματίζωVF2-FAI2S ἅπαςA3-DPM ὁRA-DPM *ἰουδαῖοςN2-DPM καίC πᾶςA3-DPM ὁRA-DPM ἔρχομαιV1-PMPDPM προςκυνέωV2-PAN ἐνP οἶκοςN2-DSM κύριοςN2-GSM ἅπαςA3-APM ὁRA-APM λόγοςN2-APM ὅςRR-APM συντάσσωVAI-AAI1S σύRP-DS αὐτόςRD-DPM χρηματίζωVA-AAN μήD ἀποαἱρέωVB-AAS2S ῥῆμαN3M-ASN |
| [3]Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and will tell thee great things, and hidden, which thou knowest not. |
[3]ἴσωςD ἀκούωVF-FMI3P καίC ἀποστρέφωVD-FPI3P ἕκαστοςA1-NSM ἀπόP ὁRA-GSF ὁδόςN2-GSF αὐτόςRD-GSM ὁRA-GSF πονηρόςA1A-GSF καίC παύωVF-FMI1S ἀπόP ὁRA-GPM κακόςA1-GPM ὅςRR-GPM ἐγώRP-NS λογίζομαιV1-PMI1S ὁRA-GSN ποιέωVA-AAN αὐτόςRD-DPM ἕνεκενP ὁRA-GPN πονηρόςA1A-GPN ἐπιτήδευμαN3M-GPN αὐτόςRD-GPM |
| [4]For thus saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are broken down for mounds, and ramparts; |
[4]καίC εἶπονVF2-FAI2S οὕτωςD εἶπονVBI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ἐάνC μήD ἀκούωVA-AAS2P ἐγώRP-GS ὁRA-GSN πορεύομαιV1-PMN ἐνP ὁRA-DPM νόμιμοςA1-DPM ἐγώRP-GS ὅςRR-DPM δίδωμιVAI-AAI1S κατάP πρόσωπονN2N-ASN σύRP-GP |
| [5]Whereon they come to fight with the Chaldeans, even to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in Mine anger and in My fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid My face from this city: |
[5]εἰςἀκούωV1-PAN ὁRA-GPM λόγοςN2-GPM ὁRA-GPM παῖςN3D-GPM ἐγώRP-GS ὁRA-GPM προφήτηςN1M-GPM ὅςRR-APM ἐγώRP-NS ἀποστέλλωV1-PAI1S πρόςP σύRP-AP ὄρθροςN2-GSM καίC ἀποστέλλωVAI-AAI1S καίC οὐD εἰςἀκούωVAI-AAI2P ἐγώRP-GS |
| [6]Behold, I will bring it healing and cure, and I will cure them; and I will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. |
[6]καίC δίδωμιVF-FAI1S ὁRA-ASM οἶκοςN2-ASM οὗτοςRD-ASM ὥσπερD *σηλωμN--DSF καίC ὁRA-ASF πόλιςN3I-ASF δίδωμιVF-FAI1S εἰςP κατάραN1A-ASF πᾶςA3-DPN ὁRA-DPN ἔθνοςN3E-DPN πᾶςA1S-GSF ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF |
| [7]And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first. |
[7]καίC ἀκούωVAI-AAI3P ὁRA-NPM ἱερεύςN3V-NPM καίC ὁRA-NPM ψευδοπροφήτηςN1M-NPM καίC πᾶςA3-NSM ὁRA-NSM λαόςN2-NSM ὁRA-GSM *ἰερεμίαςN1T-GSM λαλέωV2-PAPGSM ὁRA-APM λόγοςN2-APM οὗτοςRD-APM ἐνP οἶκοςN2-DSM κύριοςN2-GSM |
| [8]And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against Me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned against Me, and whereby they have transgressed against Me. |
[8]καίC γίγνομαιVBI-AMI3S *ἰερεμίαςN1T-GSM παύωVA-AMPGSM λαλέωV2-PAPGSM πᾶςA3-APN ὅςRR-APN συντάσσωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-DSM κύριοςN2-NSM λαλέωVA-AAN πᾶςA3-DSM ὁRA-DSM λαόςN2-DSM καίC συνλαμβάνωVBI-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-ASM ὁRA-NPM ἱερεύςN3V-NPM καίC ὁRA-NPM ψευδοπροφήτηςN1M-NPM καίC πᾶςA3-NSM ὁRA-NSM λαόςN2-NSM λέγωV1-PAPNSM θάνατοςN2-DSM ἀποθνήσκωVF2-FMI2S |
| [9]And this city shall be to Me for a name of joy, for a praise and for a glory, before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them, and shall fear and tremble for all the good and for all the peace that I procure unto it. |
[9]ὅτιC προφητεύωVAI-AAI2S ὁRA-DSN ὄνομαN3M-DSN κύριοςN2-GSM λέγωV1-PAPNSM ὥσπερD *σηλωμN--DSF εἰμίVF-FMI3S ὁRA-NSM οἶκοςN2-NSM οὗτοςRD-NSM καίC ὁRA-NSF πόλιςN3I-NSF οὗτοςRD-NSF ἐρημόωVC-FPI3S ἀπόP καταοἰκέωV2-PAPGPM καίC ἐκἐκκλησιάζωVS-FPI3S πᾶςA3-NSM ὁRA-NSM λαόςN2-NSM ἐπίP *ἰερεμίαςN1T-ASM ἐνP οἶκοςN2-DSM κύριοςN2-GSM |
| [10]Thus saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇: Yet again there shall be heard in this place, whereof ye say: It is waste, without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man and without inhabitant and without beast, |
[10]καίC ἀκούωVAI-AAI3P ὁRA-NPM ἄρχωνN3-NPM *ιουδαN--GSM ὁRA-ASM λόγοςN2-ASM οὗτοςRD-ASM καίC ἀναβαίνωVZI-AAI3P ἐκP οἶκοςN2-GSM ὁRA-GSM βασιλεύςN3V-GSM εἰςP οἶκοςN2-ASM κύριοςN2-GSM καίC καταἵζωVAI-AAI3P ἐνP πρόθυρονN2N-DPN πύληN1-GSF κύριοςN2-GSM ὁRA-GSF καινόςA1-GSF |
| [11]The voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that say: 'Give thanks to 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of hosts, for 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 is good, for His mercy endureth for ever', even of them that bring offerings of thanksgiving into the house of 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇. For I will cause the captivity of the land to return as at the first, saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇. |
[11]καίC εἶπονVAI-AAI3P ὁRA-NPM ἱερεύςN3V-NPM καίC ὁRA-NPM ψευδοπροφήτηςN1M-NPM πρόςP ὁRA-APM ἄρχωνN3-APM καίC πᾶςA3-DSM ὁRA-DSM λαόςN2-DSM κρίσιςN3I-NSF θάνατοςN2-GSM ὁRA-DSM ἄνθρωποςN2-DSM οὗτοςRD-DSM ὅτιC προφητεύωVAI-AAI3S κατάP ὁRA-GSF πόλιςN3I-GSF οὗτοςRD-GSF καθώςD ἀκούωVAI-AAI2P ἐνP ὁRA-DPN οὖςN3T-DPN σύRP-GP |
| [12]Thus saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 of hosts: Yet again shall there be in this place, which is waste, without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, a habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down. |
[12]καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S *ἰερεμίαςN1T-NSM πρόςP ὁRA-APM ἄρχωνN3-APM καίC πᾶςA3-DSM ὁRA-DSM λαόςN2-DSM λέγωV1-PAPNSM κύριοςN2-NSM ἀποστέλλωVAI-AAI3S ἐγώRP-AS προφητεύωVA-AAN ἐπίP ὁRA-ASM οἶκοςN2-ASM οὗτοςRD-ASM καίC ἐπίP ὁRA-ASF πόλιςN3I-ASF οὗτοςRD-ASF πᾶςA3-APM ὁRA-APM λόγοςN2-APM οὗτοςRD-APM ὅςRR-APM ἀκούωVAI-AAI2P |
| [13]In the cities of the hill-country, in the cities of the Lowland, and in the cities of the South, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks again pass under the hands of him that counteth them, sait 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇. |
[13]καίC νῦνD βελτίωνA3C-NPM ποιέωVA-AAD2P ὁRA-APF ὁδόςN2-APF σύRP-GP καίC ὁRA-APN ἔργονN2N-APN σύRP-GP καίC ἀκούωVA-AAD2P ὁRA-GSF φωνήN1-GSF κύριοςN2-GSM καίC παύωVF-FMI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ἀπόP ὁRA-GPM κακόςA1-GPM ὅςRR-GPM λαλέωVAI-AAI3S ἐπίP σύRP-AP |
| [14]Behold, the days come, saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇, that I will perform that good word which I have spoken concerning the house of Israel and concerning the house of Judah. |
[14]καίC ἰδούI ἐγώRP-NS ἐνP χείρN3-DPF σύRP-GP ποιέωVA-AAD2P ἐγώRP-DS ὡςC συνφέρωV1-PAI3S καίC ὡςC βελτίωνA3C-ASN σύRP-DP |
| [15]In those days, and at that time, will I cause a shoot of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute justi righteousness in the land. |
[15]ἀλλάC ἤC γιγνώσκωVZ-AAPNPM γιγνώσκωVF-FMI2P ὅτιC εἰC ἀνααἱρέωV2-PAI2P ἐγώRP-AS αἷμαN3M-ASN ἀθῷοςA1-ASN δίδωμιV8-PAI2P ἐπίP σύRP-AP καίC ἐπίP ὁRA-ASF πόλιςN3I-ASF οὗτοςRD-ASF καίC ἐπίP ὁRA-APM καταοἰκέωV2-PAPAPM ἐνP αὐτόςRD-DSF ὅτιC ἐνP ἀλήθειαN1A-DSF ἀποστέλλωVX-XAI3S ἐγώRP-AS κύριοςN2-NSM πρόςP σύRP-AP λαλέωVA-AAN εἰςP ὁRA-APN οὖςN3T-APN σύRP-GP πᾶςA3-APM ὁRA-APM λόγοςN2-APM οὗτοςRD-APM |
| [16]In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely; and this is the name whereby she shall be called, 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 is our righteousness. |
[16]καίC εἶπονVAI-AAI3P ὁRA-NPM ἄρχωνN3-NPM καίC πᾶςA3-NSM ὁRA-NSM λαόςN2-NSM πρόςP ὁRA-APM ἱερεύςN3V-APM καίC πρόςP ὁRA-APM ψευδοπροφήτηςN1M-APM οὐD εἰμίV9-PAI3S ὁRA-DSM ἄνθρωποςN2-DSM οὗτοςRD-DSM κρίσιςN3I-NSF θάνατοςN2-GSM ὅτιC ἐπίP ὁRA-DSN ὄνομαN3M-DSN κύριοςN2-GSM ὁRA-GSM θεόςN2-GSM ἐγώRP-GP λαλέωVAI-AAI3S πρόςP ἐγώRP-AP |
| [17]For thus saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇: There shall not be cut off unto David a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel; |
[17]καίC ἀναἵστημιVHI-AAI3P ἀνήρN3-NPM ὁRA-GPM πρεσβύτεροςA1A-GPMS ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF καίC εἶπονVAI-AAI3P πᾶςA1S-DSF ὁRA-DSF συναγωγήN1-DSF ὁRA-GSM λαόςN2-GSM |
| [18]Neither shall there be cut off unto the priests the Levites a man before Me to offer burnt-offerings, and to burn meal-offerings, and to do sacrifice continually. |
[18]*μιχαιαςN--NSM ὁRA-NSM *μωραθίτηςN1M-NSM εἰμίV9-IAI3S ἐνP ὁRA-DPF ἡμέραN1A-DPF *εζεκιουN--GS βασιλεύςN3V-GSM *ιουδαN--GSM καίC εἶπονVBI-AAI3S πᾶςA3-DSM ὁRA-DSM λαόςN2-DSM *ιουδαN--GSM οὕτωςD εἶπονVBI-AAI3S κύριοςN2-NSM *σιωνN--NSF ὡςC ἀγρόςN2-NSM ἀροτριάωVC-FPI3S καίC *ἰερουσαλήμN--NSF εἰςP ἄβατοςA1B-ASM εἰμίVF-FMI3S καίC ὁRA-ASN ὄροςN3E-ASN ὁRA-GSM οἶκοςN2-GSM εἰςP ἄλσοςN3E-ASN δρυμόςN2-GSM |
| [19]And the word of 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 came unto Jeremiah, saying: |
[19]μήD ἀνααἱρέωVB-AAPNSM ἀνααἱρέωVBI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASM *εζεκιαςN--NSM καίC πᾶςA3-NSM *ἰουδάN--NSM οὐD ὅτιC φοβέωVCI-API3P ὁRA-ASM κύριοςN2-ASM καίC ὅτιC δέωVCI-API3P ὁRA-GSN πρόσωπονN2N-GSN κύριοςN2-GSM καίC παύωVAI-AMI3S κύριοςN2-NSM ἀπόP ὁRA-GPM κακόςA1-GPM ὅςRR-GPM λαλέωVAI-AAI3S ἐπίP αὐτόςRD-APM καίC ἐγώRP-NP ποιέωVAI-AAI1P κακόςA1-APN μέγαςA1-APN ἐπίP ψυχήN1-APF ἐγώRP-GP |
| [20]Thus saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇: If ye can break My covenant with the day, and My covenant with the night, so that there should not be day and night in their season; |
[20]καίC ἄνθρωποςN2-NSM εἰμίV9-IAI3S προφητεύωV1-PAPNSM ὁRA-DSN ὄνομαN3M-DSN κύριοςN2-GSM *ουριαςN1T-NSM υἱόςN2-NSM *σαμαιαςN1T-GSM ἐκP *καριαθιαριμN--GS καίC προφητεύωVAI-AAI3S περίP ὁRA-GSF γῆN1-GSF οὗτοςRD-GSF κατάP πᾶςA3-APM ὁRA-APM λόγοςN2-APM *ἰερεμίαςN1T-GSM |
| [21]Then may also My covenant be broken with David My servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, My ministers. |
[21]καίC ἀκούωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM βασιλεύςN3V-NSM *ιωακιμN--NSM καίC πᾶςA3-NPM ὁRA-NPM ἄρχωνN3-NPM πᾶςA3-APM ὁRA-APM λόγοςN2-APM αὐτόςRD-GSM καίC ζητέωV2I-IAI3P ἀποκτείνωVA-AAN αὐτόςRD-ASM καίC ἀκούωVAI-AAI3S *ουριαςN1T-NSM καίC εἰςἔρχομαιVBI-AAI3S εἰςP *αἴγυπτοςN2-ASF |
| [22]As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured; so will I multiply the seed of David My servant, and the Levites that minister unto Me. |
[22]καίC ἐκ ἀποστέλλωVAI-AAI3S ὁRA-NSM βασιλεύςN3V-NSM ἀνήρN3-APM εἰςP *αἴγυπτοςN2-ASF |
| [23]And the word of 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 came to Jeremiah, saying: |
[23]καίC ἐκἄγωVBI-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-ASM ἐκεῖθενD καίC εἰςἄγωVBI-AAI3P αὐτόςRD-ASM πρόςP ὁRA-ASM βασιλεύςN3V-ASM καίC πατάσσωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASM ἐνP μάχαιραN1A-DSF καίC ῥίπτωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASM εἰςP ὁRA-ASN μνῆμαN3M-ASN υἱόςN2-GPM λαόςN2-GSM αὐτόςRD-GSM |
| [24]'Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying: The two families which 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇 did choose, He hath cast them off? and they contemn My people, that they should be no more a nation before them. |

| [25]Thus saith 𐤉𐤇𐤅𐤇: If My covenant be not with day and night, if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth; |

| [26]Then will I also cast away the seed of Jacob, and of David My servant, so that I will not take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; for I will cause their captivity to return, and will have compassion on them.' |
