[1]ὑπολαμβάνωVB-AAPNSM δέX *ιωβN--NSM λέγωV1-PAI3S [1]Then Job answered, and said,
[2]εἶταD σύRP-NP εἰμίV9-PAI2P ἄνθρωποςN2-NPMD μετάP σύRP-GP τελευτάωVF-FAI3S σοφίαN1A-NSF [2]Indeed because that ye are the people only, wisdom must die with you.
[3]καΐἐμόςC+RPDS μένX καρδίαN1A-NSF κατάP σύRP-AP εἰμίV9-PAI3S [3]But I have understanding as well as you, and am not inferior unto you: yea, who knoweth not such things?
[4]δίκαιοςA1A-NSM γάρX ἀνήρN3-NSM καίC ἄμεμπτοςA1B-NSM γίγνομαιVCI-API3S εἰςP χλεύασμαN3M-ASN [4]I am as one mocked of his neighbor, who calleth upon God, and he heareth him: the just and the upright is laughed to scorn.
[5]εἰςP χρόνοςN2-ASM γάρX τακτόςA1-ASM ἑτοιμάζωVA-IMI3S πίπτωVB-AAN ὑπόP ἄλλοςRD-APM οἶκοςN2-APM τεX αὐτόςRD-GSM ἐκπορθέωV2-PPN ὑπόP ἄνομοςA1B-GPM [5]He that is ready to fall, is as a lamp despised in the opinion of the rich.
[6]οὐD μήνX δέX ἀλλάC μηδείςA3P-NSM πείθωVX-XAD3S πονηρόςA1A-NSM εἰμίV9-PAPNSM ἀθῷοςA1-NSM εἰμίVF-FMN ὅσοςA1-NPM παραὀργίζωV1-PAI3PRA-ASM κύριοςN2-ASM ὡςC οὐD καίD ἔτασιςN3I-NSF αὐτόςRD-GPM εἰμίVF-FMI3S [6]The tabernacles of robbers do prosper, and they are in safety, that provoke God, whom God hath enriched with his hand.
[7]ἀλλάC δήX ἐπιἐρωτάωVA-AAD2S τετράποδοςA1B-APN ἐάνC σύRP-DS εἶπονVB-AAS3P πετεινόςA1-APN δέX οὐρανόςN2-GSM ἐάνC σύRP-DS ἀποἀγγέλλωVA-AAS3P [7]Ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee, and the fouls of the heaven, and they shall tell thee:
[8]ἐκ διαἡγέομαιVA-AMD2S δέX γῆN1-DSF ἐάνC σύRP-DS φράζωVA-AAS3S καίC ἐκἡγέομαιVF-FMI3P σύRP-DSRA-NPM ἰχθύςN3U-NPMRA-GSF θάλασσαN1S-GSF [8]Or speak to the earth, and it shall show thee: or the fishes of the sea, and they shall declare unto thee.
[9]τίςRI-NSM οὐD γιγνώσκωVZI-AAI3S ἐνP πᾶςA3-DPM οὗτοςRD-DPM ὅτιC χείρN3-NSF κύριοςN2-GSM ποιέωVAI-AAI3S οὗτοςRD-APN [9]Who is ignorant of all these, but that the hand of the Lord hath made these?
[10]εἰC μήD ἐνP χείρN3-DSF αὐτόςRD-GSM ψυχήN1-NSF πᾶςA3-GPMRA-GPM ζάωV3-PAPGPM καίC πνεῦμαN3M-NSN πᾶςA3-GSM ἄνθρωποςN2-GSM [10]In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.
[11]οὖςN3T-NSN μένX γάρX ῥῆμαN3M-APN διακρίνωV1-PAI3S λάρυγξN3G-NSM δέX σῖτοςN2-APN γεύωV1-PMI3S [11]Doth not the ears discern the words? And the mouth taste meat for itself?
[12]ἐνP πολύςA1-DSM χρόνοςN2-DSM σοφίαN1A-NSF ἐνP δέX πολύςA1-DSM βίοςN2-DSM ἐπιστήμηN1-NSF [12]Among the ancient is wisdom, and in the length of days is understanding.
[13]παράP αὐτόςRD-DSM σοφίαN1A-NSF καίC δύναμιςN3I-NSF αὐτόςRD-DSM βουλήN1-NSF καίC σύνεσιςN3I-NSF [13]With him is wisdom and strength: he hath counsel and understanding.
[14]ἐάνC καταβάλλωVB-AAS3S τίςRI-NSM οἰκοδομέωVF-FAI3S ἐάνC κλείωVA-AAS3S κατάP ἄνθρωποςN2-GPM τίςRI-NSM ἀναοἴγωVF-FAI3S [14]Behold, he will break down, and it cannot be built: he shutteth a man up, and he cannot be loosed.
[15]ἐάνC κωλύωVA-AAS3SRA-ASN ὥδωρN3T-ASN ξηραίνωVF2-FAI3SRA-ASF γῆN1-ASF ἐάνC δέX ἐπιἀφίημιVH-AAS3S ἀποὀλλύωVAI-AAI3S αὐτόςRD-ASF καταστρέφωVA-AAPNSM [15]Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: but when he sendeth them out, they destroy the earth.
[16]παράP αὐτόςRD-DSM κράτοςN3E-NSN καίC ἰσχύςN3U-NSF αὐτόςRD-DSM ἐπιστήμηN1-NSF καίC σύνεσιςN3I-NSF [16]With him is strength and wisdom: he that is deceived, and that deceiveth, are his.
[17]διαἄγωV1-PAPNSM βουλευτήςN1M-APM αἰχμάλωτοςA1B-APM κριτήςN1M-APM δέX γῆN1-GSF ἐκἵστημιVHI-AAI3S [17]He causeth the counselors to go as spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.
[18]καθιζάνωV1-PAPNSM βασιλεύςN3V-APM ἐπίP θρόνοςN2-APM καίC περιδέωVAI-AAI3S ζωνήN1-DSF ὀσφύςN3-APF αὐτόςRD-GPM [18]He looseth the collar of kings, and girdeth their loins with a girdle.
[19]ἐκ ἀποστέλλωV1-PAPNSM ἱερεύςN3V-APM αἰχμάλωτοςA1B-APM δυνάστηςN1M-APM δέX γῆN1-GSF καταστρέφωVAI-AAI3S [19]He leadeth away the princes as a prey, and overthroweth the mighty.
[20]διαἀλλάσσωV1-PAPNSM χεῖλοςN3E-APN πιστόςA1-GPM σύνεσιςN3I-ASF δέX πρεσβύτεροςA1A-GPM γιγνώσκωVZI-AAI3S [20]He taketh away the speech from the faithful counselors, and taketh away the judgment of the ancient.
[21]ἐκχέωV2-PAPNSM ἀτιμίαN1A-ASF ἐπίP ἄρχωνN3-APM ταπεινόςA1-APM δέX ἰάομαιVAI-AMI3S [21]He poureth contempt upon princes, and maketh the strength of the mighty weak.
[22]ἀνακαλύπτωV1-PAPNSM βαθύςA3U-APN ἐκP σκότοςN3E-GSN ἐκἄγωVBI-AAI3S δέX εἰςP φῶςN3T-ASN σκιάN1A-ASF θάνατοςN2-GSM [22]He discovereth the deep places from their darkness, and bringeth forth the shadow of death to light.
[23]πλανάωV3-PAPNSM ἔθνοςN3E-APN καίC ἀποὀλλύωV5-PAPNSM αὐτόςRD-APN καταστρωννύωV1-PAPNSM ἔθνοςN3E-APN καίC καταὁδηγέωV2-PAPNSM αὐτόςRD-APN [23]He increaseth the people, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and bringeth them in again.
[24]διαἀλλάσσωV1-PAPNSM καρδίαN1A-APF ἄρχωνN3-GPM γῆN1-GSF πλανάωVAI-AAI3S δέX αὐτόςRD-APM ὁδόςN2-DSF ὅςRR-DSF οὐD οἶδαVXI-YAI3P [24]He taketh away the hearts of them that are the chief over the people of the earth, and maketh them to wander in the wilderness out of the way.
[25]ψηλαφάωVA-AAO3P σκότοςN3E-ASN καίC μήD φῶςN3T-ASN πλανάωVC-APO3P δέX ὥσπερDRA-NSM μεθύωV1-PAPNSM [25]They grope in the dark without light: and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.
